font pairing: Yeseva One and Josefin sans.

I have decided to use Yeseva One as my display font because it is bold and sophisticated and when i change the text to red it seems striking and eye catching. I have continued the use of the refection of the second half of my name to play on the palindrome. I liked how the serifs interacted with each other when i reduced the tracking because it created a flow between the letters and they join together. 

I paired this with Josefin sans because they have similar rounded letter forms and angles to the letters. I think this was a god choice because the stroke width is consistent through the letters which helps its legibility on a web screen. I decided to make certain parts of my description bold to add emphasis to what i want people to remember about me.

Exploring font pairings

Once I was out of isolation we met as a group and we started to discuss font pairings that we could use for the body copy of our work. We experimented with different sans serif fonts that we thought would pair well with the display font 'Dirty Roma'. Originally we thought about using Gill sans however, we discovered that it had a negative background behind it therefore we decided to reconsider.

In the end we decided to go with Avenir as we found the circular structure to each letter helps give a softer yet still trendy appearance.

“Figure it out yourself.” He said and kissed him again. Kitakata didn’t seem to complain. His fingers slipped under the hem of Yagami’s shirt, meeting skin. He touched along the base of his spine, and Yagami couldn’t suppress the slight shiver that went through him. He could only imagine how gratifying this was for Kitakata. Hell, just seeing Yagami checking him out probably made his whole week, now this. He’d never be able to stop him from flirting now.

Yagami leaned into Kitakata’s hold, into his mouth, against that eager tongue. He was about to make Kitakata’s whole damn year.
