Venus, Saturn. A bit of Mercury, a bit of Sun... Who am I kidding, plant spirits aren’t that easily categorised into planetary domains.

The foxglove spirit excels in matters of the heart.

She is like an aristocrat. An elegant lady, seductive if she wants to be, but sensual, powerful, confident in herself.

She is an ambassador, a guardian. She is very capable of defending herself and her people. She is keen, observant. She sees into the hearts of others, their intents, motives and desires. She is like a counsellor too. She can heal hearts, or destroy them.

She grows easily and travels around. She has entered the world of humans who plant her for her beauty, but her loyalties lie with the fae and wild spirits. She watches over the boundaries of nature and humans. She prefers wild places, but is willing to grow on human lands, which benefits her role as an ambassador.

She is something of a gatekeeper; if you want to commune with nature, she can help you do so. But she demands respect from humans. Spend time in her presence, make offerings. She will tell you how to harvest her, but do so only with her permission. Do not touch her otherwise. She is like a lady of high status that you have to appease, but she is no fool either, you have to be sincere. She can teach you how to be like her; powerful, intelligent, manipulative (I don’t necessarily mean this in a bad way). She can grant you passage to the fae lands and communion with the wild spirits of nature. She is a powerful ally.

I feel like she wants offerings that befit a lady. Sweet perfumes (organic, natural-made) and incenses, sweet drinks that have a hint of astringence, like floral wines and honeyed jasmine tea brewed bitter.

Offer her poetry. Not romantic or sentimental ones, but poetry that demonstrates skill with words and prose. She is refined, she likes luxury, but favours intelligence. If you play music or make art, demonstrate a combination of both beauty and skill; this is most pleasing to her.
