Maybe in the Pokemon world, whether ghost-types are actually ghosts of people or not is a common debate. Maybe that’s what Pokemon!Buzzfeed Unsolved is about, Ryan believes ghost-type are actual ghost while Shane just thinks they’re Pokemon.
Ryan:(doing The Voice) It is said that Phantumps are spirits of children who got lost in the woods and never came back out.
    Shane: They’re just Pokemon, Ryan.

New Mega Man villains just dropped.
(Just kidding; they’re Ceruledge and Armarouge, two new Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet.) People are complaining that they look like Digimon, but I don’t care.  They look freaking sick.

Blish: Ugly Pokemon (overland forme*)
Water

A fish Pokemon dredged up from the deep, it seems to be in a constant state of malaise, an it whimpers and sighs when touched.

Jawbish: Trapteeth Pokemon

With Pokemon Scarlet and Violet drawing near, I had gotten in the mood to design some Fakemon of my own.  Here’s one of the concepts I made--with both normal and Shiny colorations--back in October:
Mortome Spellbook Pokemon
Ghost/Psychic
Said to be the spirit of a sorcerer-in-training now bound to their former spell textbook, it seeks those with the potential for magic in an attempt to pass on its knowledge, yet some believe its true motive is to enthrall a viable host and use their body as its new vessel. It was originally believed to be another regional variant of Yamask, but its own unique traits outweigh what similarities it shares with its “cousins” from Unova and Galar, and thus its species was granted the more suitable name of “Mortome”.
Base Stats: 303 (total) HP: 38 ATK: 30 DEF: 65 SP.ATK: 75 SP.DEF: 65 SPEED: 30
-----
Doomoire Revenant Pokemon
Ghost/Psychic
Evolution Requirement: Use a Dusk Stone on Mortome
A magical spirit twisted by the knowledge of the spellbook it is bound to, it has the wicked ability to alter the perceptions of those around it with its muttered incantations. Those befuddled by its spells have their lifeforce and knowledge drained to increase its own power.  Damage done to the spellbook’s pages translates to damage dealt to the Doomoire residing within, yet the cover of the book is durable enough to shield it from many oncoming attacks.
Base Stats: 483 (total) HP: 58 ATK: 40 DEF: 95 SP.ATK: 115 SP.DEF: 95 SPEED: 80
Ability: Bibliomancy
This Ability gets replaced with the Ability of the last Pokemon that fainted, either while this Pokemon is in battle with this Ability or when it switches in.

Simon Riley who gets your initials tattooed over his heart, but not in the conventional way.
The idea of getting your full name spooks him, cause what if he gets captured and some enemy agent sees? It's just too much of a risk for him. But initials are safer. Twice as much if they're hidden behind roman numerals.
So he reveals his new ink one day, during a quiet moment a few weeks after he gets it once it's healed up. He explains what the roman numerals are (they correspond to letters of the alphabet: A would be I, B is II, and so on) and what they mean, and you spend so long marveling at Simon's dedication that it takes you a minute to notice something... strange.
"There's no number for my last name."
He takes your hand, puts it over the numbers, and puts his forehead on yours.
"That's cause I'm hopin' you'll let me put the number 18 there, love."

Dullfin: Hunter Pokemon
Ghost/Dark
Ability: Infiltrator (Overcoat)
These pokemon can swim through the land, they form small dedicated groups and corner their prey from below.
Only hunting at night, a Dullfin blends into the darkness of the forests and fields where they swim, impossible to detect. HP:55   ATK: 65 DEF: 40 SPA: 50 SPD: 30 SPE:90
Noirca: Apex Pokemon
Ghost/Dark
Ability: Infiltrator (Overcoat)
Considered the deadliest thing on land, a Noirca is relentless in its pursuit, the only place they seem to avoid is the ocean...
Noirca attacks can be recognized by the glowing trails on their tall back fin, the only part of them that protrudes from the ground when they hunt. HP:70 ATK: 110 DEF: 55 SPA: 85 SPD: 45 SPE:120
