Shuake Inaba Story
So, i got this idea for a fanfic that I’ll write someday soon, but basically, Akira’s hometown was Inaba and Goro was sent there while he recovers under the protection of the anti-shadows unit
Details
After a few days in rehabilitation, Goro got a visit, at first he thougth Akira had found him, but it actually was Mitsuru Kirijo, who explained the situation to him and gave him the oportunity to pay for his crimes and use his power for the good, he agreed at last
Now, he’s had problems with the control of his personas, which Mitsuru explained is because of his bad mental health, after all that’s part of what personas are. And as such, she sent him to recover in the most peaceful place she knows, yakushima
But later she realized that it would be easier to keep him in check at inaba, so she sent him there, on the way they talked for a bit and he mentioned “not having a proper highschool experience” he said more as a joke, but she related to ir, so she made an excuse with a tricked test to sent him back to last year to have one
Goro is staying at the Shirogane’s residence, it was Naoto’s idea so there wouldn’t be problems about security and keeping him in check with going to school and to the therapyst sesions. Goro was more excited than he will admit about meeting the “original detective prince”
Mitsuru had thought there wouldn’t be problem about Goro getting recognized because after all, no one comes and goes of Inaba that often, but she learned a little bit too late that Inaba was actually the hometown of the lider of the phantom thieves, she doesn’t do anything about it because it looks like Goro cares for him, so Mitsuru figures that it’ll be good for him to have someone he knows around, she didn’t tell Akechi tho
Akira was texting Ann on the way home, and she only then discovered that he was from there, the thing is that she and Shiho are also staying in inaba, so she was almost killing him for not telling her sooner
Akira barely survived the travel home because all the time after that Morgana was lecturing hm, but he didn’t think he was that tired until at his arrival he saw Goro Akechi, just standing there, searching for a machine that could have coffee. He was just there, breathing, standing still, and trash talking the vending machines for not having any coffee
He dropped his things without thinking about the cat in his bag and ran to him, and only then Goro saw him, but he couldn’t quite process it before being held into a hug, and also getting slaped in the face while Akira tried his best to say a million things in one second, like if it was the only one they had
When he finally calmed down, they talked for a bit, and after that they walked home side by side, and Akira wanted to say the one thing he had wanted to say for so long, but then, then his words just didn’t come out, at least not ones that Goro could understand, Akira then internally cursed his expression level habilities
Akira thougth it was already a long enough day, and he did not expect again another shock to his already too tired brain, after all not every day you have to convince your dad to not call on the police to report a found missing person, who just happens to be your crush rival, after all Akira’s dad is still a Policeman
Akira and Goro sit together in class, and both usually fell sleep because they get really bored, Morgana does not aprove this sleeping schedule
Goro wears a black long sleeved sweater that Akira had gifted him back in 3rd semester, also his hair is in a ponytail because he hasn’t got the time to cut it
Akira wears a turtleneck under the uniform because he got too used to it
Ann was vey unsure on how to react, but Akira talked with her before she saw Goro, they agreed on her “giving him a chance” and not telling the others yet (Futaba was spying on them tho)
Goro does social service at noons, he’s a free tutor, that’s how he met shiho, becuase she needed the help after basically skiping a whole year, and thanks to that Ann warmed up to him
Morgana is feeling really uneasy about the tv in Akira’s bedroom, he can’t quite explain why, he just does not like it and always warns him to not get to close to it
Morgana has been teasing Goro about his feelings for Akira ever since they got to talk about the engine room, it started as Goro asking if he knew why he was alive and ended in Akechi yelling at a cat that he was definitely not in love with his most importan person rival

Here's a post about my first au of 2024
P4 parents of P5 au (this needs a shorter title goddamn)
So it's. The Phantom Thieves are raised by the Investigation Team. Simple as that
Yu and Yosuke adopt Akira at age 5, after his parents give him up for being too much trouble. He loves his aunt Nanako, and uncle Teddie, and will eventually inherit the Narukami Family Secret; the rizz.
Chie and Yukiko end up raising two thieves, Ann and Ryuji. Ryuji's father is in jail for killing his mom, and originally the Takamaki's adopted him. Then, they got too busy with work. Chie and Yukiko fostered the two together for a year before officially adopting them at 3. They know they're not related but they're still brother and sister, and Ryuji dyes his hair this time to match his sister, after other Inaba kids make comments about her "foreigner hair"
Kanji is with Naoki in this one. You know, Saki's brother. The King's of the shopping district foster little Haru after her father is caught in an insider trading scandal, and she's adopted officially at 4 after 2 years. She's always got the cutest little dresses, which Kanji makes for her all the time. And, Naoki with his curly hair making sure Haru's curls are well cared for
Then. I had this in another au but. Naoto and Rise adopt baby Makoto, which is the incident that sparks the mass child acquiring among their friends. Sae visits from the city where she's studying, but yeah.
And, Wakaba and Sojiro? They run away before Wakaba is killed. They bring little Futaba to Inaba, move when she's like, 4, and find little orphan Yusuke along the way. They take in Goro after finding out he's Futaba's half brother when he's 12, so they've got the most Thieves Per Household (TPH)
It's got so many good little bits for it. Childhood Friends phantom thieves, the IT watching their kids grow up and be besties too, and. EVERYONE HAVING GOOD FAMILYS DAMNIT THEY DESERVE TO HAVE A GOOD HOME TO RETURN TO EACH NIGHT
Now, some little things I have for this au
Ryuji and Makoto were on the same youth soccer team in elementary school. Chie would pick Makoto up and Rise would drop Ryuji off after, and it starts the life long Jock Friends thing they have going. When they're at Yasogami, after sports clubs they go up to the roof and ramble about their gay crushes together
Haru and Akira are both part timers at Leblanc, which opens in the shopping district in one of the empty lots in the North end. Kanji and Naoki were betting about which of their shops she'd want to work at and both lost
Ann joining the Yasogami drama club, crushing on Shiho and so upset that she's in Ryuji's class instead of Ann's, being unafraid to tell her parents about liking girls because. They're lesbians, Harold
Goro, newly adopted, emo twelve year old, and. Futaba (10) and Yusuke (11) stare at him and decide that despite him being the oldest, they will call him Little Brother. Cause. He's the newest.
Sleepovers at the Inn, playing down by the Samegawa, just. So many good things. Comfort au.

[I'll admit that I haven't played p4 so I cannot attest to characterization on the p4 characters that appear; however this fic makes me insane. Off the charts Vibes with the feelings of longing and melancholy and growing up growing past trauma. Its very good I'm very normal.]

[my favoritest persona fanfic ever I think so hard all the time about this author's writing style and how the characters are written how they handle trauma and growing up and moving on from all the Things that happened in the year they were phantom thieves. the way akechi and jokers relationship is written & the way their arcs are written . this is both a great take on the characters and persona 5 and also a very well written Story in general with well executed Plot and Arcs. Everything else by this author is also fire.]

Akechi stares at him. Nearly drops the gun. Tightens his grip until his gloves creak. "You remember this happening before," he says slowly, more an accusation than a question.
"Yeah. I thought it was the drugs." Amamiya gestures at the floor, where wet syringes are scattered. "Is this real?"
Akechi realizes that he was tricked into killing a cognitive Ren in time to return and kill the real one. When he wakes up the next day, it's November 20th again, and he is a very stubborn man.
Unfortunately for his plans, so is Ren.

The move to Yongen-Jaya was long, tedious, and frankly heartwrenching.
The serial kidnappings have been solved,l for a long while now, as well as the mysteries behind the fog, the Midnight Channel... Even how Narukami got his powers without facing down his Shadow in the first place.
It had been nothing short of emotional when everyone bad Narukami goodbye, and nothing short of elating when they found out Narukami would be visitng for Golden Week.
Akihiko remembers the tears the Investigation Team shed the day Narukami came back, taller and ganglier but still the same goofy teenager they all know.
In time, everyone received news from SEES, too. Fuuka had decided to move permanently to Inaba, while Yukari and Mitsuru were moving closer- Okina City. Junpei and the twins were also moving to Inaba.
The Sanadas were the only ones moving farther away.
It’s April of 2015, and the Sanadas have lived in Yongen Jaya for 2 months. They’re all regulars at a little cafe called LeBlanc, which apparently has a new visitor.
Sojiro-san greets them as usual, and Ken is the first to notice the scruffy-looking teenager lingering by the counter. He looks to be around Ken and Goro’s ages, with round glasses and a rather nasty case of bedhead.
“Hello. I’m Ken. Who’re you?” Ken asks, sitting down in his usual seat- which happens to be right beside where the teenager is standing.
“Akira. Nice to meet you. Is that your brother?” the teen says, extending a pale hand. Ken shakes it, then leans against the counter on his elbows.
Goro offers a polite smile. “Goro Sanada. Pleasure to meet you, Akira.”
“This guy’ll be staying with me for a while. Might get him to help around the place a bit,” Sojiro-san says, placing three coffees down on the counter.
Akihiko sits down beside Ken, and looks at Akira. “You’re new here, aren’t you? What brings you to Yongen Jaya?”
Akira shrugs casually, a small smile playing at his face. It’s oddly reminiscent of Shinji, who’s also sitting at the counter.
“Probation,” is the answer, and Shinji snorts into his hand in surprise.
“Proba- huh-!?” Ken splutters, a disbelieving look on his face. Sojiro-san conveniently ducks behind the coffee shelf.
“What didja do, kid?” Shinji asks, taking a drink of his coffee. Akira leans against the counter, hands stuffed into his pockets.
“Shoved some rich guy off of a woman on the streets. He sued, but I managed to get off with a probation sentence. My parents shipped me off here to live with Sojiro-san for the duration of my probation, so I could go to a school that didn’t know my track record. Unfortunately for me, everyone knows about it.”
“....I’m so sorry,” Ken murmurs. Akihiko takes a breath, tries to quell the anger that sparks. He wants nothing more than to fight for this guy, to help him in any way possible.
“He sounds like a piece of shit, whoever he is. Can’t believe I’m sayin’ this, but don’t go ‘round causin’ any trouble, kid. It’d only make your situation worse,” Shinji warns, and Akira nods.
“Yeah, I know. It’s just- I feel like I’m being punished for doing the right thing.”
Goro speaks up from a booth seat. “Society doesn’t tend to favour the morally just and righteous. However, I commend you for sticking to your beliefs. Many back down when questioned.”
Akira fixes his eyes on Goro, expression flickering for a moment. “....Yeah. Anyways, sorry for unloading on all of you. I’m gonna head out.”
The poor guy disappears through the front door, leaving the Sanadas to stew on the injustice of a case they couldn’t help.

I WANT TO SEE SHINJI ABSOLUTELY SMASH HIS STUPID BALD HEAD OPEN LIKE AN EGG anyway on a brighter note the akira and gorb meet.... this is definintely not going to result in a tragic romance. nahhhh... definitely not going to make the family feel the same way they did with shinji yet again.... definitely NOT going to make me cry

Meanwhile, Kurusu Akira just wants his friend back. He never meant to become a delinquent, much less the leader of the Phantom Thieves, but he supposes he’s never been very good at staying out of other people’s business.
(A soulmate au where writing gets transferred to each other’s skin. As a result, they become long-distance friends… until Akechi lets his jealousy and anger get the better of him, that is.)

Ok so first of all-- I would like to state that I haven't give it much thought other than I want Akechi to live
- Akechi FOR SOME REASON THAT I AM NOT ABLE TO THINK OF got ejected from the palace instead of dying
- Amnesia ensued
- Maybe Sae found him???
- Kirijo group then came to Tokyo
- Why??
- Because they lowkey have experimented on shadows and persona or whatever.
- In Persona 4 Arena Ultimax they literally came to the ass end of nowhere ((Inaba)) because the shadow level there has SOMEHOW escalated
- That shit in Tokyo?? Where suddenly the whole city merges with mementos??
- That's even worse than Inaba y'hear?
- So obviously they went there
- Maybe Mitsuru talked to Sae and after Sae told Mitsuru about Goro ((bcos les be real here if anyone found out that Goro is a phony AND an assassin, they'd throw him under the bus no questions asked)) and all of his situation maybe Mitsuru decided to take the amnesiac boy and have him examined ((MAYBE GIVE HIM AN EVOKER?!?@?@))
- Fast forward a bit Goro was sent to Inaba ((bcuz I don't think mayonaka TV ever actually disappeared like Tartarus and Mementos???)) To maybe see if his persona is intact and if he didn't have apathy syndrome or some other bullshit excuse that I still need to think about
- Maybe Narukami's Investigation Team was also there to keep an eye on him??? ((Cuz Rise and Himiko, Teddy, even Yosuke??))
- Akira went back to his home town #Inaba ((I KNOW HE DOESN'T ACTUALLY LIVE THERE BUT CAN WE PRETEND PLEASE THANK YOU)) and somehow ran into Goro and homeboy just got really confused "Boy whomst"
- And so Akira got tangled again in another Persona business, rediscovering Inaba's old persona users with SEES's help

P5 Mech Au - Kaijus have turned their eyes to a Future Japan's acting Capital, Base City, thus requiring them to start a team of mech pilots to keep the city safe while they try to find a way to end the crisis. Unknown to all the members of the selected Pilots team, one among them is a Synthetic Human, made partially from Kaiju DNA
P5 Inaba Au - Akira is moving to Yaso-Inaba while his parents are overseas, and since he's only freshly free from Parole, he has been placed in the care of Prosecutor Sae Niijima. However, as soon as he arrives, a series of odd murders begins. What is the secret behind the fog? (P4 but with the P5 characters)
P5 Ageswap Au - Sojiro has been sent to live in Tokyo after being sued for assault, wrongfully mind you. He plans to listen to the advice of his new guardian, Ryuji Sakamoto, and live a normal life for the year. However, the universe has other plans. (Teens confidants are in the adult roles, adult confidants are in the teen roles)
P5 Pirate Au - the seas around Shibuya Harbour are riddled with crime and injustice, and one young boy (MORGANA) pulls together a crew of the wronged to run the Phantom Pirates crew, sailing aboard the Velvet Room
Niijima Twins Au - what would change if Goro had a support system in his life? This au, apparently. Makoto and Goro are twins, and this covers all the ways that alters the Persona 5 universe
P5 Magic Au - Akira is a witch, a fact he's only learned recently. From a talking cat. Said cat claims he's a grand sorcerer, looking to reclaim his lost magic from greedy humans. Along the way, he befriends many, many other magical beings and monsters
P5 as P3 Au - I'm not waxing poetry about this one. It's the plot of Persona 3 with the Persona 5 characters in their places. WITH A TWIST. YOU WILL ONLY FIND OUT THE TWIST IF THIS ONE WINS
P4 Apocalypse Au - shadows crawl out from the darkness and fog, and the remaining living townsfolk of Inaba have taken up shelter in Yasogami High. Yu and his friends happen upon a being that can actually kill the shadows, giving them the upper hand the Town has needed this whole time
P4 Magic Au - Yu is a witch. When he goes to live with his human uncle, he notices a pattern in the recent murders; the dead were all monsters. He befriends other magical students and tries to solve the secret of the magical murders

True Killer/Fantasy AU
This AU runs on the idea that Yosuke had gotten his abilities around the same time as Yu and was the one to push Saki into the TV world instead of Adachi.
This is also a separate timeline for my original blog so I will put all the Fansty AU points down here. There however will be tweaks as I will only be playing as Yosuke mainly and maybe Morgana from time to time. Also, Mattie from my original blog does not exist in this AU.
Pertaining to timeline events everything thing in this blog takes place a few months after the events of Persona 5
This AU is set in a world where human’s and mythical creatures exist side by side. Magic is the norm here and a lot of the technology here has magical properties to them. Despite all this, the Tv world/Metaverse is still quite a mystery to most. Same goes for the shadows that live there.
TV World/Metaverse
In this world, these places are still considered another world coinciding along with their own. Due to the presence of magic and other so-called mythical creatures, these worlds are highly unstable and have a tendency to merge with the real world here. This causes a lot of shadow breakouts or leaks as well as can cause many mental-shut-down cases if not properly handled. However, you must still have a way into this world (Tv or Phone app respectively) and not anyone can just walk into them. The only way to enter these worlds without those is through the weak points that are created when this world fuses into the real world.
TV World/Metaverse to the population.
In this world, most if not a good majority of the population know of the TV World/Metaverse but only a select few can enter it. The population also only know of it as another world and don’t know what’s it's actually called. Shadows are not common knowledge to the public and are meant to be kept that way.
How do the different races in the TV world/Metaverse differ in this world?
Well, pretty much any extra abilities that are common for certain creatures become null and void. They have no effect on the shadows there and only their Personas are useful. Also, creatures that normally can’t feel fatigue or don’t tire out easily, will feel this. Despite not having any physical changes happening to anyone inside these worlds, anyone inside is practically reduced to being human.
Shadows
The shadows in this world are a lot stronger due to the influence of so many different magical beings as well as the presence of magic in general. Only Persona’s and recent specialized weapons developed by the Shadow Ops are effective against them. They also have a tendency to actually leak out of the TV World/Metaverse as well as their own world.
Personas
The individual personas look just like how they are in any other normal world but they have the added abilities of their user’s Race. They can also be used outside of the TV World/Metaverse if the user is in a shadow infested area or Merge Points. Personas can use Merge Points to exit their world without being summoned but will retain their shadow-like form with their persona outfits. (If maxed out the persona’s can choose which outfits/mix outfits.) They can also use their abilities to an extent outside of their world but it drains their energy.
Merge Points (Mp’s)
These are what the shadow ops call the areas or points where the tv world/metaverse fuse together. These points will always be surrounded by the fog from the tv world even if it’s a metaverse leak. Only specialized glasses made by Ted or the Shadow Ops will be able to allow others to see through this dense fog. Personas are summonable in or near these points. (Even for persona users of other worlds.) They are very random and practically untraceable. Strong Shadows appear to somehow be able to create these (Still currently being studied).
Specialized Personaized Weapons. (SPW’s)
These are the weapons that the Shadow Ops/Persona users utilize to fight physically against shadow attacks. Normal weapons are null and void against shadows so these weapons were created. They are created by fusing a normal weapon with the power of their personas. This is done using a special machine the Ops found blueprints off in the rubble of an old laboratory. The ops’s head scientist is the one in charge of creating these weapons.
Shadow Ops
The main focus of the Shadow Ops in this world is to maintain/detain any leaked shadows, as well as deal with any other Shadow related messes. They are also meant to keep the public from knowing about the existence of Shadows by any means necessary. They are also tasked with studying merge points as well as the other world they are from. They are also tasked with hunting Yosuke down.
Wildcards/Mulitple Persona users
The holders in this world differ only cause of their abilities to shapeshift in the Tv World/Metaverse. Obviously, they cannot physically shapeshift in these worlds but it’s the way they are able to switch through personas. They refer to it as shifting as in this world they cannot actually hold or have more than one Persona. They more or less “see” the potential of another persona thus allowing their original persona to just morph or shift into other personas. As long as that persona does not already have a holder.
Shadow Ops and the Multiverse
Knowledge of other worlds is quite common in this world so Shadow Ops members do frequent runarounds for cleanups. As the TV World and Metaverse here are very unstable shadows can and will end up leaking into other worlds. They are also more willing to work will other Shadow Ops members of other worlds and will be willing to lend their technology and knowledge for the help. However, they would prefer to have the technology back after missions are done as they could greatly mess with other worlds
.All the canon events that happened in both 4 and 5 games (and spin-offs )are still the same. However, Izanami was never defeated leaving the whole town of Inaba and only Inaba surrounded in fog. Yosuke’s involvement in the P5 events was minimal and only involved creating mental shutdowns at complete random. He fled the minute Shido was apprehended.
