So this is a comic I’ve wanted to do for a long time because it hits fairly close to home for me, but especially because I think this is foundational to Phoenix and Edgeworth’s relationship: trust. Throughout the games we see that they push and pull one another to get to the bottom of a situation, to discover the truth and do what’s right, even when it’s difficult. While obviously not canon, to me their relationship is so emblematic of kink it’s nearly unavoidable in my depictions of them--Edgeworth may always seem to be the ultimate string pulling master with a thousand tricks up his sleeve, but none of this could happen if he did not totally relinquish control via his unwavering trust in Phoenix.

You have excellent timing anon. Not only do I have body type HCs, I was actually thinking about posting them the other day, but it always felt so awkward to be like "hey, here's my really specific ideas about the Lawyers--"

but now I have a good excuse so here goes nothin

I know in canon that Phoenix is 5'9 and Edgeworth is 5'10, but I think Edgeworth has too much going for him already, and also Phoenix is big enough to mow down a solid wood door like it's nothing. So in my HC, Edgeworth is still 5'10 but Phoenix is rounded out to a nice 6' even. While being a little taller though, Phoenix is leaner and a little more narrowly built compared to Edgeworth being much more stocky and barrel chested. I also think that Edgeworth has slightly larger hands.

While both of them have roughly equal amounts of body hair, Phoenix's is much more noticeable due to how much darker it is, and Edgeworth's tends to blend into his skin more. I also view Edgeworth as being a bit chubbier than Phoenix, at least around the waist, and that Phoenix is a little more visually athletic.

Gumshoe is basically a classic bara body--broad all over, more muscled than you'd think, but not a lot of sculpted definition and definitely more padding around the center. Also as fuzzy as a bear, with hair going all the way to his fingers.

I view Mia as being more or less depicted as she is in game, a very classic hourglass figure. Maya and Franziska though, I view them both as being on the slender/almost skinny side, with Franziska leaning a little naturally androgynous. Iris and Dahlia are both very thin and fine framed, classically "waifish".

Klavier is straight up ripped, he is the only attorney that I think has a visible six pack. I also view him as being a little taller than he actually is, around 6'2 or so. Kristoph is 6'4 and built similarly to how I see Phoenix, though definitely a bit more defined.

Reading all this out, it makes it sound like I obsess about this LOL, but these are just the little things I try to keep in mind when I draw them, so I can try to push silhouettes and whatnot. Being so anime inspired, AA definitely runs into some same face/same body issues, so I think it's fun to dream up little ways they're still visually recognizable, but a bit more unique.
