1. How many works do you have on AO3? In total across 5 fandoms, 124, 84 of those are JatP, and 5 of those are prompt fill compilations.

2. What's your total AO3 word count? 1,674,136 uploaded as of right now, and I know that over 1 million of those words are JatP.

3. What fandoms do you write for? Currently just Julie and the Phantoms, but in past I wrote primarily for Glee/Glee RPF, and Teen Titans. There's no other fandom really interesting me enough to write for it at moment.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Honestly no I don't. I tried, once upon a time, but I just felt like no one really cared what I had to say, and then I didn't have the spoons for it, so I stopped. I know I should though, my brain just doesn't seem to like letting me.

6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Hands down it is Haunted by the moments of what we used to be because every comment I got on it was some variation of how very dare you.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Generally I try to give all of my stories a happy ending, but for this one, I'll go with Yellow Wood  because it gave everyone a happy ending, no matter the path taken.

8. Do you get hate on fics? Currently no, but when the blacklist was a thing that happened, my name was second on there, so that kind of sucked.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Out of my 84 JatP fics, 24 are rated E, and my smut prompt fills are currently sitting at 80 something chapters, so you tell me. In honesty, I don't write smut as much anymore, as I find it a little more difficult to write and the response to anything rated above a T is vastly lower than anything else. But when I started in this fandom, it was what I was known for; see my point regarding the black list.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? I actually kind of hate crossovers? If I'm looking for a fic to read on AO3, I always click the Exclude Crossovers choice. I'll write any and every AU I can, and I might add minor characters from said AU, but that's rare, and that's as close as I get.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Unfortunately yes. There was a person on WattPad who went and stole a bunch of different smutty JatP fics over a year ago, and one of mine was amongst them. They were reported, and the fic was taken down. This is why now my fics on AO3 are only available to registered AO3 users.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? No, but if anyone ever wants to do a translation or podfic of any of my stories, they have my permission as long as they credit me and send me a link afterwards!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? No, and no one has ever asked. It's something I'd love to try if the chance ever came along, and had the right idea.

14. What's your all-time favorite ship? I mean I can't pick just one, I've been involved in fandoms since I was a teenager. Like for Teen Titans Raven/Beast Boy will always own a piece of my soul. In Glee, Kurt/Blaine was such a formative part of my life. And even with Jatp I don't think I could choose between Rulie and PeterPatterLina, they both mean so much to me. And those are just the fandoms I've written for!

15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? *looks at my GDocs which is a WiP graveyard* Oh gosh there's so many.

16. What are your writing strengths? My brain is not being kind to me ATM, so I don't think I have any? Like maybe how much I write? Does that count?

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Everything. Editing especially.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I have done this quite a bit, even if it's just plugging what I want to say into Google Translate. So I know it's not entirely accurate, but I think I have been getting better about it.

19. First fandom you wrote for? The first fic I ever wrote that wasn't done like on a dare was a smutty fic for the anime Trigun that still exists on my ff.net page if you find it (no I'm not linking it) that I wrote in high school. It is Not Good.

i tend to stick to one fandom at a time, so for now i'm writing hellcheer for stranger things, but in the past i've written for: 1d, julie and the phantoms, shadowhunters, 911, and young royals! (some of those were just one-offs tho)

yes! i try to respond to every comment i get, tho sometimes i don't reply to ones that are like replies to my previous comments bc that gets to be too much. i also moderate all my comments so i tend to delete the ones that are rude (which truthfully i do not get a lot of, which is nice!)

6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

oh without a doubt that's always have & i always will. i set out to write a very sad fic and that's exactly what i did.

i'd say this could apply to pretty much every other one of my fics bc i do prefer a happy ending since isn't that what we're mostly all here for??? happy endings for our blorbos???

i have in the past. it's part of the reason why i started moderating comments. i simply don't understand why someone would take time out of their day to read something when they usually know they aren't going to like it before they've even started, and then take MORE time to write a nasty comment to someone who shared their work FOR FREE. go be miserable somewhere else, thank you!

yes! all kinds, i suppose. i'm not really sure what that second question means.

i don't think AUs count as crossovers so ... no? i once had an idea for a 1d/teen wolf crossover a million years ago but that never really made it out of my head much less onto ao3. once upon a time i also had an idea for a jatp/hellcheer crossover ... that could maybe still happen.

ughhhh i don't want to say i'll never finish it but we're edging towards a year since i last updated i roll 'til i change my luck and i just have zero will to go back to it. but! i really don't want to delete it either so we'll just have to wait and see :(

i take very great pride in my dialogue. my sister read one of my works recently and complimented my dialogue and i was all 🥰🥰🥰 over it. i've also had multiple people compliment my ability to write scenes well enough that they can see/hear them in their heads and i absolutely love that because that's exactly how i write!! i have a very vivid imagination and it takes a lot of effort to try and get it right on the page.

BREVITY.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

english is bad enough i don't need to be stupid in another language.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

once upon a time i wrote self-insert lotr rpf fic that will never, ever see the light of day (shut up i was like eleven) BUT the first fic i actually posted for other people to read (which has subsequently been deleted from internet existence) was a bandom fic specifically about simple plan lmfao

20. Favorite fic you've written?

oh, that's so hard. if i'm going by fandom, for 1d it's these four walls and me bc that fic has a piece of my soul forever. for jatp, it's a tie between coping and stubborn, selfish, easily jealous (the former because it helped soothe the sting of the show getting cancelled, and the latter because i love my stupid fucked up boys who can't get their shit together to say i love you). and for stranger things, it's if we don't leave this town (we might never make it out) because i had the most wonderful time writing it and i'm so glad so many people felt so deeply connected to the story.

2023 Fic Wrap up

229, 264 words 21 works

Julie and the Phantoms and Juke are still my OTP. I just love them. But I’ve branched out and written quite a bit of Willex, some Rarrie, Peterpatterlina, and even Reggie x Bobby in the current wip.

I even wrote a fic for a different fandom.

January – Posted the last chapter/epilogue of Falling Toward the Future. It still remains the longest thing I’ve written and will most likely stay that way for the foreseeable future.

Started the Jukebox Baby series and posted the first two parts of that.

February = Posted parts 3 through 7 of the Jukebox Baby series that ended up including a prequel I’d had no plan to write when I started it.

Happy Birthday Ray was the 1st sequel in the Falling Toward the Future verse that I posted on my own birthday.

March - 1st entry in the Naughty files - Juke (self explanatory)

April - Last entry in the Jukebox Baby series (for now)

Epilogue

At the end and over the years, the band continued playing and getting more well known. XY apologized to Luka, and he forgave him with the condition of telling his mother the truth. Ankara didn’t take the apology so well, since XY ended up thrown overboard, but she was so happy to have Luka back into her life that she ended up leaving the millionaire in a secondary place.

Marinette’s dad was so shocked to learn about the Phantoms news that he passed out. TWICE. He fainted a third time when Manon told him she had known about the Phantoms and how obvious it was. Tom kept his eyes on Luka for a while, but when Marinette told him the story about her mom and how she had trusted him and the Phantoms to protect her, he started seeing him in a different light. Eventually, he accepted him in the family, and was overjoyed when he finally proposed and got married to his dear daughter.

Alya became ‘Marinette and the Phantoms’ manager. She also found  ways- not very legal ways- to make Luka an official lifer again in registers. Other than his tombstone in the cemetery, no trace of Luka ever dying remained in the public domain. Later, when the band became less active, she found her success in publicity and married a sound technician that she once contracted for one of ‘Marinette and the Phantoms’ concerts, Nino, with whom she lived happily.

Chloe started a music career as an idol, mostly paid with her father’s money. She became popular for a while, but then she got caught cheating on her boyfriend Adrien and chose to retire due to the scandal. After some struggles and reflecting on her past, she realized that she had been treating Marinette very badly out of jealousy, so she apologized and eventually became friends again. With Marinette’s support, she felt encouraged to start her musical career again, and gained some popularity again. She was loved by her fans.

Having been controlled by his father practically all his life, and after cutting ties with Chloe for good (they went back together when he lost his chance with Marinette), Adrien decided to travel around the world. He was surprised when he found out he had family ties with the famous ancient magician, Felix Fathom, and that led him to study archeology. He continued traveling around the world, searching for ruins and hints about ancient cultures. His biggest finding was an old temple in Tibet called ‘Temple of the Miraculous.' He spent many years trying to decipher the ‘Miraculous book’ he found there. At some point, Marinette and the Phantoms found out, through Adrien’s studies, the secret of the kwamis and their powers, Sabine and her Master's duties, and how they were related to ghosts and Felix.

Juleka was partly happy to be a ghost, since she didn’t age, but she missed Rose very deeply. She wore her unicorn pin everywhere, wishing she was looking over her from wherever she was now after crossing over. She had an encounter with Anarka, too, and even if she was sad for her passing, her mother was also thankful that her daughter was still keeping her promise of protecting Luka until the end. When she finally crossed over, many years later, Rose welcomed her with open arms- and a new afterlife started for them.

After that brief meeting and letting go at the cemetery, Ivan didn’t see Mylene ever again. Nevertheless, he was happy when he received a fan letter from her kids telling him how much they and their mother loved ‘Marientte and the Phantoms.' He was at the verge of happy tears when they told him, in the letter, that their mother cried of joy when they went to see them live. His bandmates made sure to give him a big teddy bear hug when his tears finally fell down, moved by the letter contents. He had the best friends and bandmates in the world, and they proved so everyday. He crossed over at the same time as Juleka, and, years later, he finally met again with Mylene in the afterlife- which they spent together.  

Luka and Marinette played together until they became old. They got married, formed a family with kids, and eventually grandkids. Oh, and an iguana- one of Luka’s eccentricities he inherited from his father, according to Anarka (“at least it’s not a crocodile!” she had told Marinette then).The couple never stopped loving each other and won multiple music awards. Luka’s legacy, and Marinette’s too, was ensured. Together, they were called “musical miracle." If only they knew…

With the money she got from the band’s success, Marinette created a music school with her mother’s name as an honorable memorial for her. The school taught many talented kids and almost all of them found their way to make a living from music after graduating. Eventually, it became the most prestigious music school in France. agree/disagree: i know why it landed and i see the appeal in it and i went back and read comments on it the other day and was just pleased as punch to see how people interpreted it! i wrote this fic in 2018 (!!!) at a time where i was going through something heinous and i was so young and just wanted to be in control of something. i’ve done better work since, but i love her for what she is.

agree/disagree: yes. wholeheartedly. tbh i reread this fic sometimes bc i love it. i wrote this shit for me and she unironically slaps

agree/disagree: i do agree with this one though it’s placement as to how many kudos it received is wild to me! i’m immensely proud of this fic and i loved what i wrote here.

agree/disagree: i have no idea what y’all saw in this but good for you! it’s a silly little christmas fic TO ME but for some reason i get kudos and comments at all times of the year. thanks cuties

agree/disagree: i love this fic so much. the reaction to it was so cool. i loved the insane amount of comments i got telling me how masterfully i’d written bc i love hearing i did a good job but i also loved people telling me how it made them feel.

agree/disagree: i have no idea what made this one hit for you. i am SO happy it did, but it’s insane to me. i love that you love it because its made ME love it more. this is my most kudos’d fic and it’s bonkers bananas to me !!!

extra bonus! a fic that deserves more love is dance for all that we’ve been through because i wrote 61k of an entire ballet au and relived all my old ballet trauma and this girl did NOT get her flowers :/ to date it’s probably my best work and it’s ok that it didn’t get received as well but also… it’s good ok!!!

1. Gravity Falls (honorable mention, Amphibia and Owl House)

I would call GF my perfect show. It's a shared love between me and my sister--I mean, we dressed up as Dipper and Mabel for Halloween one year. We also have watched it so many times that hearing the obscure quotes and references from us is probably painful to anyone else.

2. Doctor Who

I haven't watched DW in agessss but it was really my first entry point to nerdom/connecting to other people like me. I also have lovely memories of watching it after school with my dad.

3. Yuri on Ice!

YOI came at weirdly ideal time in my life. I was basically Yuuri's age and dealing with my own anxiety disorder for the first time, so it was this powerful connection. It also brought me into the world of figure skating, which I still follow loosely!

4. Star Wars Rebels

Rebels wasn't my first Star Wars, but it was my gateway to Star Wars fandom. My first ships and headcanons and fics--all from Rebels! And I'll always be a Rebels stan, sorry Clone Wars girlies (but it's not a fight ilu I promise).

5. Julie and the Phantoms

Look JATP came at another perfect time in my life where I was struggling and it was this bright, beautiful burst of happiness. Honestly the campy, ridiculousness of it all makes it another example of exactly what I want in a show? It also brought me to write fanfic after YEARS of not and an assumption that I never would again.

6. Leverage/Leverage: Redemption

Look. Leverage is just REALLY good. I like found family, I like getting back at evil rich people, I like it all. Kinda a feel good show to go back and watch.

7. Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist

Musical + an exploration of grief is the weirdest, most wonderful combo and basically my dream.

8. New Girl

Absolute comfort show. I wanted to pick something more profound, but man, I have rewatched this one too many times to not include it.
