hello! i've recently caved and bought a hobonichi a6 orig ahh i'm so excited to use it! if it's okay, may i please ask how do you use the page layout to outline/organize your tasks? huhu thank you!

Hi welcome to the Hobonichi world!! Here's how mine is set up (photo frm the Hobonichi website)

1: Daily metrics (what time I woke up, what time I slept, did I do a specific habit i'm working on, etc). Although I personally use the Monthly Day spread at the start of the Hobonichi to track habits, but I just write here just in case I forget to fill it out.

2: To Do List! I fill it out as the day goes by. I start out w 3 of the most urgent things I need to do or the 3 things I can finish asap. U can also use the numbers at the side for timeblocking (they're set by hour!), but I don't use that since I use Owaves or measure tasks in Pomodoro cycles.

3: Event log: I write down what happened in my day. But recently, I've been just writing down my lil wins in a day or things I want to remember when I look back.

Some people allot space for their thoughts and photos. But I personally use it as like an objective life bible that keeps me on my daily routines, so I have a separate notebook for thoughts and feelings, and I use Notion for longer term planning work. So I think it's important to consider what you want your Hobonichi to function as, and the things you want to see when you open your Hobonichi! Some people also like having everything in one place, but there's no harm in designated only some things in ur Hobonichi and the others elsewhere. I hope this helps!!!

Happy new year! 🎊 Filled up my “turning the page to a new year” spread with goals and reminders I want to fulfill this year. What are the things that you want to aim/ achieve this year? I’m so in love with my tombow brush pen, so much that it’s the only pen I used for this spread 😅. I’ll also be using A6 avec for this year with the Tokyo cover on cover I haven’t used yet ever since I bought is last 2017 😅.

I’ve wanted to try doing some washi art ever since I first saw @shardula ’s art on ig. Her works are so beautiful and it inspires me to do washi art as well as resin 💕. I’ll do this again sometime in the future ‘cause it was very fun and relaxing 💕.

But it seems that I overdid it in this one 😅😅. I need to work on my color coordination skillz. Good thing I took a picture of it’s lineart.

The japanese writings came from Aimer’s song: After Rain. I was playing Aimer’s songs while doing this and when the chorus for this song came in, it made me realize that the lyrics are perfect for the art💕.

Anyways, can you guess how many washi tapes I used here?

I’m so happy with the luffy fan club gathering there, but the last page left me confused as ever! I’m with the group who thinks that the mysterious figure is Vegapunk. He really gives that Vegupunk vibes with all that ice and stuff. But some speculates that it was Luffy’s mom. And that big straw hat!!!! The theory that states this is the crown of Joy Boy really sounds plausible to me! Oh boy, I’m really hyped! 😂
