Rules

Only women! No men!!!! femme-align nb character are allowed

Only fictional character. Unless it's super funny

Not exclusive to horror movies, but must fulfill the spirit of the "good for her" genre by getting revenge and coming out of top

The movie/film/book doesn't need to end with the character "winning" as long as she achieves her "good for you" moment

No Harry Potter, Homestuck, Star Wars

At least 1/4 of the character need to be women of color. Ideally, closer to 1/3 but who knows ;-;

Found my way here through @horrorgirlspoll. I work at a chain restaurant. Every August, a softball tournament is held between all the locations in our market. It’s got me thinkin’ about the hypotheticals of a final girl/boy softball tournament (‘cause, y’know, they’re good at running). I don’t know why I’m telling you this. I don’t know why I’m telling you here. I just feel Sally Hardesty and Tommy Jarvis would kick ass.

anon i dont know anything about softball but i feel as though u are a kindred spirit of mine for having had this idea. im also picturing ash williams (old ash not young ash) being part of this which is an incredibly funny concept

eleanor & theo propaganda:

Two people selected to stay at the allegedly haunted Hill House. Eleanor is very awkward & doesn't have much agency in her life, while Theo is much more outgoing & free. they got some kind of mixed friendship/love/hate thing going on!!!!!!! this is some conflicted lesbianisms in the terrifying setting of a house that feels wrong at every turn!

Eleanor has been a shut-in for a lot of her life, while Theo is very outgoing and fun; they become friends quickly while staying at Hill House and have such a great chemistry. I love them both so dearly- as characters, individuals, a couple, and a duo!!! Weird WLW for the win <3
