You're still a little unsure of how you got here, in this odd halfway relationship with your co-workers. You thought it was weird enough when you started dating Hank, your boss, but then Kim came into the mix and now so is Torres. It’s not like you’re complaining, god no, it’s just something to think about as you lay in bed.

Dante’s all but crushing Hank right now, still drooling onto Voights sleep shirt and unmoving in his unconscious state. Then Kim cuddles into your side to reach an arm over your middle and brush her fingers at Hanks ribs that aren’t covered by Torres’ arm. Hank smiles at the small touch and lets out a content sigh in the early morning peacefulness.

“Comfortable babe?” You can’t help but ask, tipping your head up on Voights shoulder to gaze at his smile.

“Very, it’s nice when the three of you get to spend the night.” You hum in agreement.

While you and Hank almost always share a bed, Dante gets stuck staying later at work or helping his mom with stuff, and Kim has to take Makayla some days or even just help Adam fix up the house they share. So times like last night where all you did was eat dinner Dante prepared then watch a movie Kim picked out are cherished, especially when it leads to the four of you piling into Hanks bed for the night and getting to wake up together.

“We should try and do it more often.” Kim’s voice is half awake but you run a hand through her hair with a nod.

“Definitely.” The three of you let out a small chuckle at how muffled Dante’s voice is from where he’s got his head stuffed against Hank. But yeah, you do want to do this more.

HELPP, okay okay so the tag for hiraeth (my currently pretend show w all of my ocs) is ACTUALLY a combo tag that includes homestead AND hiraeth related things. in my mind, the main plot for homestead would center around each reality they travel to. every episode (or two episodes, whatever it doesn't have to be specific, the show is not real) they travel to a new world. a lot of the odd stuff in the hv tag is ACTUALLY just stuff that gives me an idea for a diff reality. both of the ghost pictures fall into that category!! the second one specifically is about beatrice trying to argue in favor of using jameson as bait for one of the ghosts in one of the worlds they visit.

as for the interdimensional shapeshifter thing, that's literally just about the ships cat. the cat on homestead can shapeshift and dimension hop as it pleases. for some reason, it just REALLY likes taking the form of a cat and hanging around homestead 24/7.

kuroo suna osamu do that thing where they tilt ur head up with a finger under ur chin . i hate eye contact and they would force me to look at them.

Imagine staring into kuroos eyes tho. He didn't expect you to do it you barely ever held eye contact but there you were, staring right at him. But you didn't phase somehow your shock melts into his. Trace his jawline with the tip of your fingers and he'll melt.

I feel like samu does not do this more either. He respects his and your personal space and even though the occasion hugs and kisses are permitted, holding eye contact is much more personal and thus, rare. But in moments like these he wants see that part of you. He will look at your frown, a little shocked a little shy but loved. You were loved by osamu miya to be looking right into his eyes.

He expected you to retort, make another comment about how this question is important and how you shouldn't be distracted from studying, he'd rather call it stressing if he could rephrase it. But now you were looking at him, trying to trace his expression while he told you to rest through the smirk. Suna would do anything to catch you slipping, even if it meant he was going down with you.

Great podcast about one of my favorite horror movies that contains the (paraphrased by me) point that -

‘The thing making all the children missing is not the queer vampires, it’s straight society ignoring and not making space for them. The problem is not the gay vampires’

and that the boardwalk culture from the movie could be read as a criticism of the enclosure of the commons and comparing this 80s scene to today’s world, look at how there used to be spaces for teens and young adults to hang out and now a lot of that is gone!

They also talk about children’s abolition, found families, ball culture, the 80s politics, 80s queer culture, the right-wing school litter box conspiracy, horror and comedy, etc.
