In the battle against acne, your face wash could be your secret weapon. But not just any face wash – we're talking about the bubbly superstar: foaming face wash. Let's uncover why this frothy formula might just be the key to conquering your acne woes.

What sets vitamin C foaming face wash apart is their acne-fighting prowess. Many formulations are infused with potent ingredients like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, known for their ability to combat acne at its root. Niacinamide Sunscreen At Best Prices in India
Tumblr media
One of the combinations in skincare that are simply unbeatable – is the pairing of SPF and niacinamide. These two powerhouse ingredients work in perfect harmony to provide your skin with the ultimate protection and nourishment it deserves. First and foremost, SPF, or sun protection factor, shields your skin from the harmful effects of UV radiation.
By creating a barrier against UVA and UVB rays, SPF helps prevent sunburn, premature aging, and even skin cancer. But when combined with niacinamide sunscreen SPF 60, its benefits are elevated to new heights. Niacinamide, a form of vitamin B3, boasts a plethora of skincare benefits. Not only does it enhance the skin barrier function, locking in moisture and preventing dehydration, but it also helps reduce inflammation and redness, making it ideal for sensitive skin types. The best way to add these two ingredients is to use a niacinamide sunscreen into your routine.
It will not only protect your skin from sun damage but will also nourish and strengthen it from within. Whether you're battling signs of aging, uneven skin tone, or simply want to maintain a healthy complexion, incorporating this dynamic duo into your skincare routine is a must. So, why settle for anything less than the best? Embrace the benefits of SPF and niacinamide and let your skin radiate with health and vitality.

Femme Fatale Beauty Playbook: Tips & Tricks To Feel Clean, Confident & Seductive Daily
Some beauty tips and tricks to feel your best daily.
Starting off with some miscellaneous advice: Coconut oil is the most versatile ingredient – for your hair, skin, nails, and even down there. Find your signature scent (apply it to your clothes instead of your skin whenever possible). Sugar scrubs are the answer to most flakiness or bumps on your skin. B vitamins, vitamin D, and omega-3s are essential to healthy hair, skin, and nails.
Hope this helps xx
Hair:
Shampoo your skull, condition the rest: Focus shampoo on your roots and work it through your scalp; concentrate conditioner on the ends and work your way up until you reach the base of your skull - around your upper ear lobe.
Always comb, never brush, your hair when wet: Gently use a wide-tooth comb, from root to tip, on wet hair to prevent breakage.
Use a special towel to dry your hair: My favorite is from Crown Affair (pricey for what it is but worthwhile in the long-term), but a Turbie Twist from the drugstore works infinitely better than a regular towel that weighs down and causes frizzy, damaged hair
Always use a heat protection spray before blow drying or straightening/curling your hair: (Briogeo and Oribe products are my love for all haircare products, including their blowdry creams – also love R +Co. for a heat protection styling mist).
Choose your hair ties wisely: Use seamless or silk hair ties exclusively to prevent breakage or awkward creases on your hair. Wear a silk scrunchie if you prefer. These hair ties from Amazon are my holy grail (only $7 for 100 hair ties!), and they come in a portable ziplock bag.
Skin:
Always use a disposable cloth when washing your face: Regular towels store bacteria and can cause breakouts too easily. These facial wipes from Amazon are my holy grail.
Wear sunscreen daily: Yes, even when you spend all day indoors. UV rays can interact with your skin through windows, too.
Niacinamide, Vitamin C Hyaluronic Acid, & Tea Tree Oil are among the few skincare ingredients almost everyone should consider incorporating into their skincare routine.
Learn the correct order to apply the products in your skincare routine: Cleanser, Toner, Serum, Eye Cream, Spot Treatment, Moisturizer, Sunscreen (or Retinol/Skin Oil at night).
Remember: From a dermatologist's perspective, your face starts (or ends) at your nipples. So, ensure you're cleansing, exfoliating, and applying sunscreen daily to your neck, chest, and décolletage to keep your skin smooth, youthful, and well-hydrated.
Vaseline is a great (affordable) alternative to traditional eye creams.
Sugar scrub your facial hair for a more gentle alternative to waxing (Combine sugar, lemon, and water). Laser hair removal, especially under your arms and your arms/legs is life-changing.
Follow up a warm shower with a dry brush and coconut oil for smoother, firmer skin.
Always apply a hydrating lip balm, mask, or Vaseline, hand cream, and moisturizer to your feet before going to sleep.
Layer complementary scents. Ensure the scents of body wash, lotion, and perfume work well together and don't clash.
Makeup:
Learn your skin undertones and educate yourself on color theory (I can share a post on this on the Post+ feed if you want some more educational content on these types of topics – I write about them for a living!).
Test any foundation, concealer, or face powder on your wrists, too.
Don't forget to color-match your bronze and blush: They can appear orange or muddy if you don't find a product with the correct shade or undertones for your skin type.
Invest in products that go on your face, brow products, and eyeliners. Great mascaras and lip products are easy to find at a drugstore or relatively cheap (I suggest Covergirl and d NYX, respectively).
Apply concealer in a triangle; don't dot it around your eyes for better coverage.
If you have oily skin (or it's humid outside), apply powder before your liquid/cream products. Set them again with a light powder to lock the color in.
Apply mascara from tip to base for the best lashes of your life: One coat on the tip, another from middle to tip, and the last coat from base to tip.
In a pinch, use a fragrance-free moisturizer and a q-tip to remove excess makeup (no more raccoon eyes).
Use a light nude or white eyeshadow underneath your brow to make them appear more defined.
Apply face powder under your eyes to help the eyeliner on your waterline last longer.
Create a simple daily makeup routine formula: 1 skin coverage (foundation/concealer), 1 skin color (a favorite blush or bronzer), brows, mascara, an eye-definer (eyeliner or shadow), and a signature "your lips but better" lip shade (1-2 shades deeper or lighter than your natural lip color): This formula provides you the basics, so you never have an excuse not to put yourself together for the day (5-10 minute routine here).
Discover your day-to-night hero product: Always keep a slightly deeper lipstick, a smoky eyeshadow, or liquid liner in your bag to transition your day look into the evening with one portable product.

skincare !!
I asked chat gpt to give me the perfect skincare routine and this is what I got:
Tumblr media
Morning Routine:
Cleanser:
Use a gentle cleanser to remove any overnight buildup and prepare your skin for the day.
Toner:
Apply a toner to balance the skin's pH levels and provide hydration.
Serum:
Choose a serum based on your skin concerns. For example:
Vitamin C for brightening and antioxidant protection.
Hyaluronic acid for hydration.
Niacinamide for overall skin health.
Moisturizer:
Apply a lightweight, hydrating moisturizer to lock in moisture.
Sunscreen:
Finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30. This is crucial for protecting your skin from UV rays and preventing premature aging.
Evening Routine:
Makeup Remover/Cleansing Oil:
If you wear makeup, start with a makeup remover or cleansing oil to break down and remove any makeup or sunscreen.
Cleanser:
Cleanse your face with a gentle, hydrating cleanser to remove impurities.
Exfoliation (2-3 times a week):
Use a chemical exfoliant (like AHA or BHA) to remove dead skin cells and promote cell turnover. Don't overdo it, as excessive exfoliation can lead to irritation.
Toner:
Apply a toner to rebalance the skin and prepare it for the next steps.
Treatment (if needed):
Use a treatment product targeted to your specific concerns, such as retinol for anti-aging or acne treatments.
Moisturizer:
Apply a slightly heavier moisturizer in the evening to nourish and hydrate the skin.
Eye Cream (optional):
If you use an eye cream, apply it before your moisturizer.
Tumblr media
I'll be following this routine and in 40 days, I'll come back with my thoughts and observations on this. Disclaimer: skincare is a very personal thing and what works for someone may not work for you.

Skincare routine (The Flags + Chuuya)
a/n: I'm in my stormbringer phase, and I came up with this yesterday while I was doing my skincare. Hope you like it!
Lippmann:
Tumblr media
As an actor, he takes great care of his skin.
He follows a 10-step routine.
He knows everything about ingredients, and he always checks them before trying a different product.
He buys the best products, and he spares no expenses on them.
Pretty scared of developing stress wrinkles.
From time to time, he gathers all the Flags in his apartment, and they order pizza, drink wine or champagne and they gossip, while putting on sheet masks.
Pianoman:
Tumblr media
At first, he didn't care much about his skin. He knows that he looks good, and that's enough.
Until he met Lippmann.
His routine is well-built, but it's not as long as Lippmann's.
He knows enough about products to know the difference between hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and retinol, because Lippmann explained it to him.
He ends up watching skincare videos quite often.
When they all meet at Lippmann's, he usually arrives a bit early, so they can talk about new products, trends, etc.
Albatross:
Tumblr media
Do you know these guys that use the most basic soap, and they still have a perfect glowing skin?
He's one of them.
When they first met, Lippmann asked him about his routine.
Boy was like ??? just soap ??? why would he use anything else???
Lippmann hates him (affectionately).
Once he forgot to buy soap, and he used dish soap instead 💀
Lippmann bought him some basic products, like a cleanser and a moisturizing cream.
Sometimes he uses them, sometimes he doesn't.
Doc:
Tumblr media
He has really dry skin.
He knows it.
He does nothing about it.
He has a moisturizing cream at home, but he forgets to apply it.
Lippmann always carries some samples of moisture cream, so when he meets Doc he can force him to apply it.
After skincare nights at Lippmann's, his skin feels new and refreshed.
He likes that feeling, but he ends up forgetting to stick up to a routine to keep it always like that.
Iceman:
Tumblr media
He has normal skin, and he doesn't care much about skincare.
He had a really basic routine of his own.
Before, he used to wash his face with water, and then he just applied aftershave in the mornings.
Lippmann told him to use a cleanser and eye cream, to avoid developing wrinkles.
He agreed, and now he uses the products Lippmann recommended him.
He will stick to those products unless Lippmann tells him to use different (and better) ones.
Chuuya:
Tumblr media
Another one who didn't care much about his skin.
As a teen, he doesn't have pimples. Boy was born with a perfect pretty skin.
But Lippmann insisted that he should take better care of his skin.
Now he uses a cleanser, a toner, moisturizing cream and sunscreen.
He actually enjoys the routine, especially at night, after a long day at work.
The first time he went to one of Lippmann's skincare nights, he refused to put on a sheet mask.
Pianoman and Albatross pinned him down, while Lippmann put it on him.
He actually enjoyed it, and his skin looked much better, but he rather die than admit it.
Now every time they gather together, he puts on a small act of resistance before joining them.

☆ what to carry in your makeup bag - skincare edition ☆
A good skincare routine should be simple, consistent, and tailored to their specific skin type and concerns. It's essential to prioritize gentle and hydrating products while avoiding harsh ingredients. Here's a basic daily skincare routine to follow:
Morning:
Cleansing - use a mild, gentle cleanser suited for your skin type. Look for one that removes dirt, oil, and impurities without stripping the skin of its natural oils. Cerave's cleansers are a great option designed for different types of skins.
Toning - apply an alcohol-free toner to help balance the skin's pH levels and prepare it for the next steps of your routine. Toners can also provide light hydration and soothe the skin. Lush's toners are my favorite.
Vitamin C Serum - apply a Vitamin C serum to help brighten the skin, fade dark spots, and protect it from environmental damage. Allow the serum to absorb fully before moving to the next step.
Eye Cream - gently dab on an eye cream to address any under-eye puffiness or dark circles. Look for an eye cream with ingredients like hyaluronic acid or peptides. Mine is from L'oreal.
Moisturizing - choose a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer suitable for your skin type. Moisturizing is crucial for keeping the skin hydrated and maintaining a healthy skin barrier.
Sunscreen - apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 every morning, even on cloudy days. This protects the skin from harmful UV rays and helps prevent premature aging and sun damage. Isdin's sunscreen is all over Tiktok because of how great it is.
Everning:
Makeup Removal - before starting your evening routine, make sure to remove all makeup thoroughly using a gentle makeup remover or cleansing oil. I love using micellar water from Garnier, but there are so many options out there.
Double Cleansing - follow up with a double cleanse. First, use an oil-based cleanser to remove any remaining sunscreen and makeup. Then, use your regular cleanser to cleanse the skin thoroughly.
Toning - repeat the toning step from your morning routine to prep your skin for the next products.
Serum - if you have specific skin concerns like acne or hyperpigmentation, apply a targeted treatment product, such as benzoyl peroxide or retinol. Use these treatments as directed and be cautious not to overuse them. I love to use The Ordinary products, especially the retinol and niacinamide ones.
Eye Cream - apply your eye cream once again to provide extra moisture and nourishment to the delicate skin around the eyes.
Moisturizer - apply a slightly richer or more nourishing moisturizer in the evening to help your skin recover and replenish overnight.
Weekly Treatments
Exfoliation - exfoliate your skin using a mild exfoliant with alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) or beta hydroxy acids (BHAs). Exfoliation helps to remove dead skin cells and promote a smoother complexion
Masking - use a face mask that addresses your skin's specific needs, such as hydrating, purifying, or calming masks.

Do you have an tips or resources on how to wear makeup elegantly and care for one's skin (for those new to makeup and skin care)?
