On the founding and current state of Timbermine

Located in the south east of Xandria

Exiting the edge of the forest, you see the cobbled streets of Timbermine. The sun is midway through its decent as the rays pierce through the intermittent clouds. In the back of the city a large manor sits atop a hill overlooking the townscape.

There's a smell of fresh lumber as you begin to make your way through the streets. buildings are dotted around a central town square where the hustle and bustle of the city takes place. A few people give you strange looks but no one is brave enough to approach. What are you doing?

Timbermine was founded to act as a supply hub for Uk'Thar in 528 AG. Council-member Alvion, Head of the merchants guild, proposed the bill for a town to be built nearby Uk'thar to Extract lumber and steal and transport it to the city. This would allow Uk'Thar to save costs on buying these materials from third parties. Over the years, Timbermine has grown into it's own distinct community. Now it is ran by the children of those who originally moved to the town in search of jobs, and they don't feel as though they own Uk'Thar anything and have begun to seek independence from the city. Mosco Burrow, head of the [[Burrow's Bunch]], has used his sizable wealth to support the efforts, as well as using his husbands connection to Arthur Caldwell, An Uk'Tharian with great influence who is sympathetic to the people's cause. Mosco is also the reason why Timbermine has been largely left alone by the City-Guard, him and his children pose a large threat and city officials don't believe it would be worth the effort. Uk'Thar's resistance to Timbermine independence had been largely through political barriers, taxation, and increasing quotas, in the hopes to reduce the citizens time they have to organize and protest.

Timbermine is the current location of (insert party name here). They we're sent after discovering Mosco's husband, Wesly, who's memory had been wiped. After bringing Wesly to his husband, Mosco sent the party to the Ruins of Lorthili, in order to defeat a wraith, an old enemy of Wesly's, whom Mosco believed to have come back after Wesly's memory wipe. As it stands, the party is currently locked in a stalemate with the wraith, by next session, a winner will be declared.
