I feel like daigo would react rlly emotionally to mine being alive if they ever reunite esp after the kiryu cancer scene like mines death definitely effected daigo a lot even though it’s not shown much (because rgg tend to forget the previous game exists after making a new installment!😂😂😂😂)
im on the edge of daigo reacting intensely to mine being alive cause on the one hand Oh My God Mine You're Alive and then there's the other hand where it's been nearly two decades and not that he cant be missing or thinking of mine that entire time but it's fair to think he's at least. learned to cope with mine's loss in that time especially amidst Everything Else
or maybe mine coming back could just undo all that work and he's crying on the floor idk--

we all know dean wears john’s jacket after he takes it from his hotel room in the pilot. but i completely forgot we also see him wear it to school in the flashback episode in s4, where he’s fronting like mad and feeling like just as much of an outsider as sam
which means he’s always used it as a comfort item. which means john let him wear it and knew, at least on some level, that it helped him. he let him wear it enough that dean doesn’t hesitate to grab it in the pilot when he needs the comfort
but more importantly, john leaves it behind for dean to find
he could’ve taken it with him when he dropped the woman in white hunt (he takes all his other gear, weapons and clothes), but he leaves it on the coat rack where dean could easily find it. he knew he’d be gone for a long time, if not outright suspecting that he’d die going after the yellow-eyed demon, and he deliberately leaves the jacket behind for dean to find comfort in

Okay, so I'm probably like super late to this whole topic and whatever, but I wanted to share my two cents before I forget about it.
We've all seen those comics and incorrect quotes in which the owl gang (specifically Willow) calls Hunter "Caleb" instead, and yeah, it's a nice sentiment, that's how he introduced himself to the flyer derby team and all that, yada yada, but
I don't think that Hunter would want to be called that.
Hunter struggles with a sense of self for like all of Season 2B. He finds out he's a grimwalker in Hollow Mind and then his entire identity is just thrown out and he's left reeling for answers.
Which is why I don't think he'd like being called Caleb.
Especially after Hollow Mind, I doubt he'd want anything to do with Belos, and the name Caleb brings him right back to him. It's like he's stuck in a maze, and every possible exit leads back to Belos.
And yeah, Hunter is more of a title than it is a name, I get that.
But my point is that Hunter would want to find his own identity. Being called Caleb forces him into the mold that he was made in, groups him back into being related to Belos when that is the LAST thing he wants.
I think that once all the fighting finished, and he could finally focus on himself and healing, he would take his name and reclaim it. Make it his own and work out of the habits that he formed while being the golden guard.
He isn't Caleb, and he never was, even if he was made from the very think Caleb was, Hunter is his own person, who has his own thoughts and feelings that differ from his original counterpart.
I can't tell if this only makes sense to me and sounds incoherent to everyone else, but I wanted to contribute.

I would love to learn more about Alfred’s beliefs and why he does what he does re: enabling Bruce’s mission, helping the Robins and even directly giving Tim and Damian the suits. I’ve read fics where he’s like ‘i can’t stop you but i can at least help you stay safe’ but that doesn’t make enough sense of his actions for me. Do you have any thoughts on this, or recs of comics/posts/fics where this is explored? Thanks, i love your deep dives! No pressure tho ofc 💌
Alfred is difficult like most comics characters it really depends on who is writing him that decides what the finer points of his personality and relationship with Bruce are, some writers really like playing up the father son thing while others will make alfred a bit colder and focus more on alfred seeing himself as more of an employee and how this may negatively affect his relationship with Bruce and how much he's willing to push back on things like batman
Personally I enjoy it more when alfred will tell himself I'm just the butler but really he does see himself as a father to bruce and Bruce sees him as nothing but a father figure, I also enjoy when alfred is more believes in what Bruce is doing then pushing back considering as you said the things we've seen alfred do he is the one half the time handing out these costumes - alfreds background as well is kinda strange he was in the military then he went to mi5 and finally ended up an actor before his dad kicked it and he decided fuck it I'm gonna be the butler for the same family my dad worked for - this to say he's not the most normal guy out there

Was just thinking about Emilie Agreste, as you do, and realizing I feel like I understand her better, even with the little characterization we get for her, better than I know how Gabriel was before she died.
I know Natalie is basically in love with her and Felix liked her, I know she was a movie star and didn't want the pressure from her parents so she left. I also know she didn't let little Adrien have any friends besides Chloe, and i feel like between that I kinda know what she was like
But Gabriel? I think about him as wanting his wife back so bad he would do anything to get her back, including ignoring and actively harming his son. How did he act before Emilie died? I may just be forgetting episodes cause I watched them when they aired and haven't really gone back to rewatch anything, but I don't know of any instance when we see how they were as a family before she died. Did he care about Adrien then? How were family trips? Was he just always working and would only come give Adrien a kiss on the head between work and going on a date with Emile? What good memories of Gabriel does Adrien even have?
The only conclusion I have come to is he loves Adrien because Emilie loves Adrien, not because he is his son
