by 3 pm today i had already scrubbed down the shower (with my new electric scrub brush which is FANTASTIC), replaced the shower curtain liner, dusted, showered, and now i've even eaten lunch. who is she and what else is she capable of?

#i know for many people this is not all that much but i have been in such a funk so for long now that this is like. shocking. #tbh on days i don't have to be anywhere i usually don't get up and about and showered until the evening #and this is on top of having done housework the past two days #i probably can't do any more cleaning today though because my hands were shaking after the shower even with the electric scrubber #i'm in the mood to like. declutter and organize and just make stuff easier for myself. #and then today i realized. about a week and a half ago i switched back to adderall after trying concerta for several months #idk if it's just having taken a break from it or if the concerta was that much less effective for me but. adderall my best friend adderall.

#had a dentist appointment this morning #then had to go to work #bought myself a few things #got home around 8:20 #had dinner #watched a bit of gilmore girls and supernatural #then had to unpack groceries #and almost had a meltdown #i feel like i’m doing so much around the house #and nobody else is doing anything #and like i was at work all day after my appointment #and it just feels like so much of the organization/cleaning of the house is on me #i’m so fucking exhausted #and i have to work an 8 hour shift tomorrow! #and i couldn’t even actually cry because i always shove it down! so. #anyway #just showered and now am gonna go to bed #it’s almost 11 so not bad i might read a bit of fanfic if i have the brain power #vent post ig lmao

So my new annoying flatmates added me to a cleaning plan app, which like... I clean when I clean, when it's necessary, not when you two barely-adults moving into a new flat with no respect for the person already living there tell me to, but also.... "clean kitchen (including windows, oven, fridge) and wipe ALL surfaces!!", "dust shoe cabinet, clean door etc." what. what does that mean. why should I clean the DOOR. or dust the shoe cabinet. weekly. NONE of these things are things you do weekly. Or like, they can, I guess, but I sure as hell won't.

#does anyone want annoying as fuck rude respectless flatmates who come home and spend the first ten minutes complaining about something #or another that they deem not clean or not done right or whatever and also think shampoo in the shower and a toothbrush in a cup by the sin #are unhygienic and that you don't need a coat rack by the door? i have two to get rid of #they also have vaccuuming and mopping on the plan which .... i vacuum about twice a week I think when it's necessary #but i definitely do not mop weekly. or even monthly. or ever. i've lived here two years and have never once mopped the floor and it's fine #ALSO ALSO they wanted to do it so that whoever's vaccuuming and mopping is doing that in all the rooms. including each bedroom. #what the actual hell. i'm not going into their rooms and I will stab and maim anyone who even touches my door without permission #this is MY space and no one else looks at it or goes in it or touches anything in there but me or friends i have explicitly invited to visi #mine #jess' flatmate rants #<< because i'm sure there'll be many more posts to come by me about them

#this morning was a cluster fuck #beba has a fever #so he isn’t feeling good and have been monitoring him closely since yesterday #and so I had to get him in to see a doctor #well my doctor is out of town #so the other doctors in her office are available but I was told it’s first come first serve #so I had to call in this morning at 645 right when the office team logged on to see about getting him scheduled today #the office staff told me to do that to ensure I get him in to be seen #so I did that #and prior to that I fed him at like 4 and he puked on me #so I had to squeeze in a shower this morning that I didn’t have time for #then I had to grab his laundry out of the drier before I left because he had no clean clothes #and in the process of doing that I lost my phone #so I’m scrambling around the house trying to find it #only to find it IN THE LAUNDRY basket #and then I was rushing to get to work #almost made it on time too if traffic wasn’t so bad #and then I get to work and realize that the baby car seat is in MY CAR #😐😐😐😐😐😐 #my husband figured it out #but my god I am so beyond over today already like fuck this

The depression has been really really bad this week and bloodborne's been the only thing keeping me afloat kinda.

#I've frequently not had the energy even to play video games which is when you know it's real bad #I haven't had a full week like this since I started taking my mood stabilizers. #personal #Where I'm just fighting with myself to get up and get anything done and only making it out with a fraction of what I planned #I do feel a little better right now though. I think I really needed that shower. #didn't get my sheets washed like I wanted. Did make chili. Turned out good despite me getting it started way later than I planned. #I basically planned to make chili yesterday because I was like. Well I *have* to get up out of bed early if I'm gonna do that #hahaha. #mostly to take the meat out of the fridge and let it finish thawing #but that at least was a success. Plus I showered. And cleaned the litter boxes. #is this really it. All I can squeeze out of myself. Is it something anti-depressants can really help with. Who knows.
