For now, let's go through the major updates:

Regarding Requests ❀ Man. I cannot apologize enough for not going through 4 of my requests on queue yet... If you requested to me a while back and I haven't posted anything, I don't think I will be getting around to them this month. I want to take some time to write self-indulgent / copium content before I open up more request slots and fulfill the current queue! (っ- ‸ - ς) Not only that, but I don't want college to hinder the quality of my requested works right now. However, I will open the option for you all to send me short requests pertaining to Erlok Grael / Thresh! I would really love to see what you all think and what I should do with him!

Blog State ❀ I'm overall very happy with the state of the blog right now, and don't really have much I want to say about this. However, I do wish I had more time to be active! (´｡• ◡ •｡`) I really do love writing league content, I just don't have the attention span and time to do so ૮꒰•༝ •。꒱ა

Writing Goals ❀ Honestly, I would like to try and shorten how much I write a bit... (·•᷄‎ࡇ•᷅ ) Based on the trends of which pieces compile the most notes, they tend to be shorter pieces I have written. I would like to be more straightforward with my headcanons and ideas when it pertains to requests. Personal works I kinda enjoy having no limit and don't think I'll change that! ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ What do you guys think? Should I keep writing short stories for requests or would you all prefer to-the-point headcanons?? Let me know, I would love to hear what you all think and like!

To my LGBT+ followers (and allies):

if you’re still in the closet please only come out when it’s safe to do so / you have a safety plan you can act on immediately. If you aren’t LGBT+ don’t ever out someone else. (I’m assuming you should know not to do that when you’re LGBT+ yourself)

ALWAYS practice safer sex and get tested regularly (that’s equally as important for my non LGBT+ followers!)

Speaking from my own experience: the way our orientation, compulsive heterosexuality, internalised homophobia/biphobia/transphobia, internalised misogyny, internalised shame regarding anything sexual, mental health issues and especially past traumatic experiences regarding partnerships/anyone overstepping our boundaries with physical/sexual closeness intersect is incredibly complex. It’s totally ok to need time to figure things out, it’s totally normal to change labels. Take time to heal. Don’t stress yourself over it and don’t force yourself into a label just for the sake of having one. Really, I can’t stress this enough: take your time, you’ll find out eventually.

Make an effort to connect and make friends with other LGBT+ people in real life. It absolutely does make a difference to have LGBT+ folks close to you.

Do not give T/erfs a platform. Block them, don’t reblog from them, don’t debate with them & their hate rhetoric. Educate yourselves so you can stand up and be good allies for our Trans & NB siblings, they all deserve nothing but love and support from us. 

If you can and have the energy, please do what you can to help other LGBT+ people, especially those who live in countries/conditions where they are in danger. It’s painful to do so, but inform yourselves about the current international LGBT+ rights, or rather lack of them, spread the word, volunteer/donate/do activist work for organisations that try to help those. If you want to focus more on local issues/supporting local organisations that’s perfectly fine, and needed too. This also goes for our non LGBT+ allies. 

Don’t be a silent bystander to racism, xenophobia, ableism, or other forms of hate, inside and outside of our community. 

TL;DR: stay safe in all areas, respect your own boundaries and take your time. Don’t accept/be a silent bystander to hate. Do what you can to strengthen our community, and stand up for others.

TOA stageplay impression

So I went to see Tales of the Abyss stageplay yesterday in Osaka and it was pretty good. A lot of people cried (including me lol).

Here be my feelings and some interesting parts of the play. Spoilers!

I arrived at the place like 1 hour before it started and immediately went to queue for goods :D

I bought some keychains and originally wanted to buy the badges too, but it was sold out in like 30 minutes after the sale opened (it started 3 hours before the play). Yikes.

Half an hour later we were able to enter the hall. I got a seat at 2nd floor, in which I feel a bit complicated lol. I will be able to fully see what’s going on on the stage, but I was pretty sure the actor will appear near the spectators seat on 1st floor too. I wanted to feel that surprise when they walk near you _(:зゝ∠)_

In the end, I’m glad I got the 2nd floor. I can clearly see everyone, though I still wished I had multiple vision or something lol. So many things happened in one time!

During waiting time they played BGMs from the game and I was already tearing up orz

10 minutes before the play, they announced things like no phone no recording blablabla. But the thing is, Luke (and Tear) is the one doing it and his voice. is. so. similar. to. the. original. voice???? Like so similar to how Chi-chan voices Luke??????? I was internally screaming when I heard the announcement. Tear on the other hand, I just realized it was her voice when I finally see her talking on the stage (which is a bit later on). I thought it was Ion’s voice at first lol.

The play started with the game title screen and everyone was laughing. But then suddenly they start with moments before fighting Van (I realized later that it was from the 1st fight) then Karma plays and all the actors showed up and I had to hold myself from screaming the lyrics. Soon after they continue with Van and Luke training scene :D

Have I mentioned that Luke is so Luke here. Not only his voice but the way he talked, he moved dsjfksdfs. There is one time though, when the actor was inserting his blade to the sheath. He used his right hand, it was kinda weird lol.

It will get very long if I talk of all the scenes but basically, they cut A LOT of things. This is very understandable because TOA is a very long game and 2.5 hours of stage wouldn’t do it perfectly. They tie things pretty neatly though.

I can talk about the differences with the original story but there’s so many of them I don’t think I can mention all here. The one that I feel shouldn’t have been omitted was Natalia’s arc, though. Too bad they also didn’t show how Natalia re-conciliate with the King _(:зゝ∠)_ Also since there was a lot of cutting you couldn’t really… feel Luke’s change? And his struggle to gain everyone’s trust as well as discovering himself? I still got emotional as I watched but it’s mostly because I remember the original story.

Guy’s arc wasn’t so touched too. And it was weird that they completely erased that Guy knew Van since Hod. I guess it still made sense but…yeah.

They also omitted that Luke helped a lot in controlling the sephiroths, here they just leave everything to Tear and Ion. Now that I think about it, the game plot was indeed weird (writing with hyperresonance????) but it was important for Luke’s development too…

Also about erasing the miasma… they did it on eldrant, after defeating Van. They changed the circumstances around the replicas and how Eldrant was made… if I’m not mistaken Van made Eldrant by using the replicas??? A bit roundabout way (and I don’t think he mentioned anything about destroying Lorelei itself) but the short story would flow better I guess. Van’s plan became a little bit more simple though.

They did some scenes with justice though. Ion’s death scene was so good. Anise’s acting was really really good. I didn’t think I would cry that much when Anise started crying too.

But of course, the one that impressed me the most was Van Grants dancing.

And it was not just dancing, dancing. It was the funky type one. When he was hypnotizing Luke. When he was in the middle of the fight. When he was being resurrected. When did Van become this street dancer guy??? I really like the dancing scenes though lol.

There was also that scene in Absorption Gate where Van was supposed to play the organ, but here he SAT on PEOPLE posing as a weird looking seat. It was supposed to be a serious scene but a lot of people were giggling lol.

I’M SO EMOTIONAL OVER THE ASCH AND LUKE FIGHTING SCENE. ESPECIALLY THE ONE AFTER WHEN ASCH HAD TO OPEN THE DOOR???? DO THEY REALLY HAVE TO STAB HIM THAT MUCH??????? AND PROMISE WAS PLAYING I kept mouthing nonononono as it played out.

Jade actually did some acrobatics, and still look elegant. As expected of Jade. It’s so amazing that there was many people surrounding him and he can still held them off with his bare hands lol.

I love how all of them did their Mystic Arte!!! (except Tear? I don’t think that one with Legretta was her mystic arte…) I was so excited when Jade did the incantation for Indignation and mouthed it with him lol. Luke also did Lost fon Drive and I was :””D Asch though, he did it before his death and I’m just yeah make me more emotional pls.

Not really related to the play but I love how their silhouette because of the stage light is shown? Expecially during Asch and Luke fight. The silhouette is so…them. Feels like my favorite characters are actually alive…

Then it came to the last scene.

It was Luke.

Well, he was using a long dark cape, but I can see the white jacket and his hair was Luke’s.

I expected this, since they didn’t even mention about Big Bang, or the relation between original and his replica at all. It’s a logical ending for this stage play. Honestly, I would like it more if they keep it very ambiguous, but there was no time for that set up. I want both to come back alive sobs.

Anyway it was a really nice play that, while it simplified a lot of plot points, is a good adaptation for nostalgia. They use the same BGMs and some important lines. The acting was really good too. It was really entertaining for me

I hope they will release a DVD/Bluray later.

Update About Post~

Hey everyone!! Soooooo, ye. . .I got a job .-.

Now what does this mean exactly? Well, it means I won’t be able to upload straight up daily! But have no fear!! For I’ve come with a plan! 

I’ve decided to have a posting schedule. It’ll be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I’ll be working on stuff to put in queue over the weekends. Mondays will consist of either two or one HC List, Tuesdays will be a Drabble and sometimes a HC List, and Fridays will more then likely be Art but may also sometimes have a HC List/Drabble. 

As for request and how they fit the schedule? Well it’ll usually depend on when they’ve been sent in. I don’t want to rush through your guys request just to meet a due date, because it means so much to me that you guys love my content enough to actually send in idea’s of your own. Like, seriously guys, you’re all so amazing to me and I don’t want to half ass your request; that’s just not fair. Usually though, request may be posted the next Monday of the week they’ve been sent it, hopefully giving me enough time to come up with something satisfying. If I feel the need to work on it a bit more, then I’ll post it the next date, but again, I don’t want to rush what ya’ll send in!

So yeah! This is where I’ve been and what I’ve been doing! I actually tested out this plan last week before saying anything to see how it will go. Now, this is still a new thing I’m trying so there might a few bumps here and there, but hopefully not too many.

hello my almost-neighbor and thank you!! ♥ yep, i’m finnish and live in finland, my sleep schedule is just really fucked up! it’s partly bc the morning classes at uni don’t usually require attendance and i work mainly in the evenings, so it’s way too easy to stay up really late without any consequences.... my queue usually runs from 5am to 1pm and that’s pretty much when i sleep :D i really think i should move to a timezone that would match my sleep schedule, bc i’ve tried to fix it so many times but it never lasts more than a few days lmao

1st night of kickboxing was great! The main mission is to make it to 25 classes. I feel like i can actually do this X)

...

I've had kickboxing in my head for some time now. All bcuz theres a kickboxing studio next to the usual movie theater i go to. (we actually went somewhere closer to the older sister's place). It was the older sister that finally made the move to sign us up.

Though it was the 1st day, i already love the community of people in the setting :)

yeah sure i died during warm-ups. I couldnt give it my all bcuz the Japanese started attacking down under earlier in the day. So glad i wore comfortable work-out clothes (even though stretching the legs felt icky). I'll be a lot physically better on Monday. (this will be good news for the endocrinologist to hear on Monday too).

Start the fight stance on your left foot forward. Got that mixed up quite a lot. I'll get used to it sooner or later.

The best part was the actual punching (+ kicking). I can execute the delivery of the punches well so far. My foot + waist pivoting needs work. Oh yeah, the "sparta" kick XP its all in the *reattempts it* hips. (Ew, cant do it well yet).

Aw man, i loved the part where i started on the "12 o' clock" position, shifted my left foot to the "10 o'clock" position, + finally executed the roundhouse shin kick X) that foot shift felt good.

Starting things slow + easy's a good start. I'm glad i didnt hit my hardest + fastest. Id be a lot more sore. Best thing was when i got back home, i wasnt physically tired/sore. It's surprising.

*yawn* woop, that's thy queue to either go to sleep or do something else on my phone :P
