Chrollo is my favorite to write and read, I think. Absolutely terrible, awful, sexy man. I love the veneer of being a gentleman that he has. I love the way he can be charismatic, and you can fight it, but it doesn't matter if you do because he can do what he wants. I love that he'd always keep a reader on their toes, he has to, it's how he plays.

Feitan, too, but because he's so different just... emotionally repressed and physically violent and you can't even pretend domestic life with him. It makes for a lot of great dark scenarios involving gore or just... more extreme levels of confinement and post-kidnapping existence.

And Mahito too. Just!! Horrible sewer goblin, perfect. He would hurt me so so bad, and I love that so so much. His inhuman nature is like *chef's kiss* and the almost whimsical, childish, curious personality he has makes for great fun to read and write.

Smiling man, obviously. He's just... HIM. He is this otherworldly thing that makes deals and smiles and loves what he does. He can be tricky and cruel and he finds awful things fun and amusing. It makes my heart pound. But, I don't know if I've quite gotten into a yandere niche with him just yet. I waver on how to write him in it. Mostly my daydreams about him involve making deals or bad ends or "him encountering me someone who is super into folksy stuff and he finds it amusing and she believes the legends about him that she hears from her grandma or whatnot." rather than more specific yandere stuff, tbh. I hope one day someone else will write for him. I can't even find someone to commission ahhhh.

Shigaraki, always, always. especially "you guys are online friends first" dynamic, because it's so mean, to have your friendship ripped away with kidnapping. I also really ended up liking the whatever-I-called-it series with the reader who has an eating disorder. I like the idea of him struggling with trying to make reader take care of themselves. And the dynamic I'm creating for Tactical Compensation + its WIP part 2 is pleasing me too. Just... bored and condescending. ahh.

Dabi... but specifically "former BFFs with Touya" readers. The drama, the angst, the suffering on both sides. I love that kind of backstory drama. If Dabi's not suffering, I don't want it.

I've been thinking about it a bit more, since I've been sorta realizing my own kins recently, and I think Cartman is catkin and/or raccoonkin. There's just... no way he's not. Kenny is ghostkin (obviously) since he's been a ghost a few times, and I also have a headcanon that he doesn't respawn immediately, he sorta wanders around for a bit as a ghost before being reborn. Stan could be general darkkin maybe, idk. Butters probably has a few fictionkins, especially Sanrio characters. Heidi read Warrior Cats and immediately knew she was one lmao... also Craig is spacekin obviously.

anyone else have multiple traumatic memories associated specifically with holidays/family vacations? because that is a topic I never see discussed in all the So You Had A Shitty Childhood, Now What? self-help books i've been reading. but for me, it was a significant thing. and the more i think about it the more it seems like this would be an (unfortunately) common experience. would be grateful to hear if this matches other peoples' experiences...

1. How many works of art have you made this year?

GOOD QUESTION UHHHHH i'll count personal art only bc if i count art for class i'd get lost. also won't count anything that are just Sketchbook Sketches like they're not done. but anything that i called done even if it was just a quick silly sketch counts. with all that said. 55! maybe we can bump that to 57 before the end of the year i have some wips i'm trying to get done

10. What inspired/motivated you this year?

i did a LOT of redraws of old art this year. like. idk i was just having an art block when it came to making "new" things and thought well, i have a bunch of old art that i could make look WAY better now. so that's what i did. also slow damage happened and i pushed out like 3 memes of it in a week

19. Did you do any collaborative works this year?

oliver collab! it's not up yet but i did do oliver collab this year i'm just waiting on the official post to post mine :) i also contributed some slight redesigns to an old fanime concept my friends and i had that we started picking up again. maybe you can count my political art final where i had people submit themselves/ocs for me to add to a canvas for visibility

28. Did you learn anything about your art/process/style this year?

that my old shading method took too long KLSDJFHDSF i changed how i shaded halfway through the year. i used to use a personal brush to do my blending but now i really only use the airbrush tool
