it's such a shame that sophia as a character is so reliant on keeping everything about her a mystery until.... literally the last chapter, because it makes her a lot weaker as.... one of the main characters. she's intended to have the same level of importance as geppetto in the narrative, however, in execution..... you can't really get invested in her because she doesn't really offer anything meaningful to you until the very end, and by then it feels a little too little too late. (and so much of it is wrapped around simon's plotline, which i have already expressed i don't really care for.)

i think it's why i try to make a bigger deal of things like the hermit's cave, or the thing about being a listener being "the devil's power", according to sophia's mother. these bits show her as an existing part of the setting she's in, and not as the walking Big Reveal set-up she... kind of is, honestly.

sophia is meant to be p's guide through his growing humanity, a counterpoint to geppetto, and i wish more was done with it!!!

So! I give to you, dearest readers, my top 5 hc for Mc x Hana! that are mostly Hana, but Mc kinda had to give that push for her to do.. Anyway!

1. Hana loves watching cheesy lesbian rom-coms

She always loved rom-coms! buuuut they were always your everyday straight ones. Until Mc asked if she wanted to see a Lesbian Rom-com! Hana, of course, was flustered but said yes, and now she has to binge watch a few everu few weeks while hiding her face during the extra cheesy parts

2. Mc was the one who took her to her first pride parade after some convincing

Mc knew Hana had never been to a parade, BUT what she didn't know was Hana WANTED to. To say Hana loved it is an understatement. She was never allowed to think of being anything other than the typical "House Wife." Always be ready for her husband regardless of everything. To think it was 100% okay to be herslef and explore outside of that was..amazing. she could be herslef and be proud. She cried every 15 minutes, and yet she's never felt happier

3. She has a personal goal to make Mc smile as many times as she can

Growing up she never received the attention and love she needed so she'll make sure everyone around her know they are loved. Especially Mc. She has so much love to give and Mc telling her her cheeks hurts from smiling so much when they're together is one of her favorite things to hear

4. Hana confidentiality shows her compedive side after years of hearing Mc fawn over it

Hana has had a comprehensive side since the moment she was born. However, she was never encouraged to let it out much since her parents would say it was "Unlady like." But she now had Mc who would go crazy for it, and that resulted in Hana becoming more assertive in her commpetivenes

5. Mc totally convinced Hana to cut her hair after mentioning she wanted to

Having been told short hair isn't for a girl her entire life, Hana would never have thought she would do it. Thankfully for her, she had Mc who convinced her to after weeks of saying, "But YOU want to!" And "I'll fight anyone who says anything!" So she did. She's never felt so light

Okay so I know everyone's worried about the alleged bad season 2 reviews and concerned that it'll be horrible but honestly? Watching the trailer? I'm so excited. I loved siege and storm (mainly for Nikolai haha) and although we can already tell that there are massive changes, I'm excited to see what they are. And the sets and CGI and production of the whole thing looked so cool you can tell so much effort was put into the show, and we have a fantastic cast who I trust to put their heart and soul into their roles- so yeah! I'm excited. In one month we get a high quality well acted author endorsed crossover fanfiction between all my favorite characters- and I can't fudging wait. I already read siege and storm multiple times- heck yea give me a new storyline and new interactions I will eat that stuff up.

Also the show has Wesper so it could literally be the worst steaming garbage ever but give me .4 seconds of ✨sexual tension✨ and gay pining between Jesper and wylan and I will endorse this show til my dying day. I just love my boys so much

I liked the concept behind AME, but wasn't crazy about the execution. For one thing, I hated that it was pay to win. I feel like you can get away with not spending diamonds in other books. But from what I remember from AME book 1 (it's another one that I haven't replayed), there was no way for MC to be successful in the end unless you bought a lot of the diamond scenes. And when it was releasing, diamonds were a lot harder to come by.

I also felt that there should've been more drama and MC specifically should've been allowed to be more messy. I mean hello it was a reality show?! I did like that they let us decide how MC was portrayed to a certain extent. (I think the options were sweetheart, flirt, and villain or something like that?) But they still should've played it up more.

Personally though, I didn't have a problem with the LIs or at least the one I chose (Handsome Stranger). I actually really liked him, but I do remember seeing a lot of people who were dissatisfied and wanting to romance some of the other characters, which is why they added Slater and Bianca at literally the last minute lol
