HUGE icicle that looked like you could kill someone with it or something.. Pulled from near a gutter on the side of a building #3. & 4 & 5 - various images from a silly party I had where I pretended to be some elf king turning like 204 years old lol (also not like #a REAL party. Only my roommates were there really and we're all in the same household bubble. #just to clarify. I would never dare have a large party anyway given #my hermitous nature but on top of that.. didn't want there to be some implication that I'm having a Party while covid is still ongoing lol. #NEVER.. But I do love dressing up as some fantasy character so much.. The only thing that could ever bring a true hermit wizard #to engage with others socially is the prospect of connecting it somehow to fantasy worlds and costumes lol. The main food that I made for the elderly elf man 'party'. which was a Deconstructed Beef Wellington (kind of as ajoke since I watch s #o many silly cooking competition shows and they always make stuff 'deconstructed' at the last minute when under time limits or whatever.) #I've wanted to make beef wellington a few times but Ithink to do it well I'd need like..an actual kitchen and a lot of time and #an oven that fully works to bake things and etc. etc. So I thought this would be an easier method. A thick steak cut round to kind of mimi #c the round tenderloin or whatever it is in a wellington. instead of the puff pastry being wrapped around - I just did star shaped cut outs #of pastry and baked them and put them on top (to go with the star theme). instead of mushroom duxelles being wrapped around in pastry #its in a little circle under the steak. and instead of mustard being brushed onto the meat I made a mustard gravy sauce type of thing #Then of course asparagus on the side.. my favorite... Though I know some wellington #also has a layer of prosciutto I think. or I saw one person use crepes. I didn't feel it was necessary to incorporate that too lol #8. bapy son helping me do a giant puzzle that took me hours and I had no idea it was actually that large of a puzzle #until I started putting it together and for some reason it made me stressed by the end instead of relaxed lol.. puzzle fatigue #photo diary

Bunny and I went to Sharks practice yesterday and I brought a film camera to take photos which was VERY disturbing to the zoo animals, but I'm hopeful at least one of the 12 photos I took of David Quinn yelling comes out well. I used to do a ton of film photography in high school but this was pre-Youtube, pre-smartphone, and pre-adult income so it was a lot of trial and error via Walgreens, and then I went to college and someone gave me a digital camera, so I just stopped doing it entirely. But I need a hobby that doesn't involve fanfiction in any way, so my mom and I dug up my dad's old film camera. I trialed it on some Sharks and some Cudas and some plants in the backyard today and took it to the most hole in the wall film developer I've ever encountered. I'm very curious how they will turn out. I figured I should get one roll out from under my belt just to adjust to how the camera works again. It's been interesting trying to remember how to frame photos on an SLR after over a decade of using a smartphone almost exclusively for photography. Like retraining my creative eye.

Unfortunately jokes on me because while Bunny and I were observing a very sparse optional practice for the Cuda, I caught a very tender moment between Akim Aliu and perma-injured housewife Anthony Vincent, so if that one single shot does turn out, I will be acting up.

not to be mentally ill but today when i went for a walk in a nature reserve i was climbing a hill and it was cold but so so sunny and everything looked beautiful and i saw so many cool things and i stood there and was like damn what's this feeling in my chest and why am i smiling so much?? my guy,, it's called fucking happiness. i was just present and content in the moment and couldn't contain myself so kept doing the silly arm shake thing i do and grinning at everything and then was like woah what's this feeling. fuckin, happiness dude.

#think the arm shake thing might be stimming (??) i referred to it as pogging and was informed that i've been using that word incorrectly #but yeah stimming ig #the arm shakes!! we all know them... #anyway do you ever get the feeling that other people experience happiness differently to you? #idk last week i was v depressed and now ive had a couple days in a row where ive been giggling with people and ive been cuddled and kissed #and today i took myself off on a walk and i was so so happy and then as i was walking back to my car #i had the gut wrenching feeling that i needed to text my parents that i'd been outside and had a good day and saw multiple cool animals #and that i loved them. because i suddenly got really worried that i would die on the way home and no one would know i'd been really happy?? #even though id literally sent my bestie loads of photos and texts and a literal voice note while staring at a robin lol #anyway and then i was floored by the realisation that i carely deeply about whether i died or not #because i was pmsing last week and that is a terrible time for me and i end up being kind of passively suicidal ig #so to have such a big change in the space of a week was a huge shock #these tags are sooo incoherent and span so many emotions #i promise i've had a really lovely day. i just am anxious all the time and depressed sometimes #in a way that is harder to predict now my periods have stopped. #im realising this is the kind of stuff that should probably go in my diary but i've got this far with the tags that i can't be asked. #if anyone is still reading #you do not have to respond to this or like it in any way. i promise lol

#this caption is not true he isnt a single mom. sonic's helping raising jam (the blue one) because she's their kid #but the others are just shadow's. also technically jam and pinky (parrot wings) are adults #maria (the white one) and luna (baby dark chao) were just hatched today! :D so now he's got twice as many kids to deal with LOL #im trying to make the shadow chao and it was gonna be maria until i realized i dont think it'll work if she's. white #so she's just doing her own thing now and then luna was born as well #i didnt realize until after she was born that the chao's types are something they're born with depending on genetics #and in order to make them a shadow chao they need to be a run type. one of their parents happened to be a run type so uh? we can hope #if not. i can start over and get two run types to mate so i know what it'll be for sure #ANYWAY. but yes shadow has a lot of little guys to be looking after. will anyone help him with this burden? #answer: uhh sonic will come in and give jam a few pats. maybe drop off some drives he picked up. #then he will give shadow a hug (which he bristles at) and run off never to be seen again. until like a week later #this is the life of single mom shadow #serena.txt #getting them all together for these photos btw was SO DIFFICULT it took forever. much as i imagine wrangling real little kids for a group #photo must be
