My solution to absolutely everything that troubles me late at night is to yell to the rooftops about whatever has my interest, be it yapping off in my brain or reaching out to my bros. But tonight I decided “here we go I’m giving up my wack ass AU to Tumblr” as my coping skill.

It’s an age swap au mostly centered around DazAtsu (this is your cue to leave if your not here for that) and the 18 Dazai navigating through grief and life in the agency, along side his strange growing feelings towards Atsushi that he just can’t seem to name. the way I see it is that since him and Atsushi have swapped ages, it’s either his past would have taken place much earlier or he would have just skipped the years in hiding and gone straight to the other side like Oda had wished of him.

I’ve actually had two fanfictions written for it so far that have almost NOTHING to do with adjusting to his life because of inconsistency but I will still post the first one as well as the second one hoping I didn’t just copy paste the same exact link twice. Funny story I actually came up with this thanks to taking part in the 2023 DazAtsu week over on twitter before I deleted the app and account, it came with a art piece I’ve featured previously on here, those are (kind of) their designs but those aren’t the updated ones. God now that I’m thinking about it I’ve been cooking this up for MONTHS and haven’t said or done much of anything on it publicly.

I leave a lot of things unfinished in terms of both art and writing. But, without further adeiu here’s some little facts I managed to keep bouncing in my pinball machine of a brain:

• Dazai had been in contact with Ranpo after Oda’s death and received an offer to become a detective. While waiting by the iconic river for who he thought was Ranpo intrusive thoughts struck him and he jumped into the water. Atsushi fished him out and gave him his coat.

• he’s been stealing that damn huge coat any chance he gets ever since

• Dazai had one of Oda’s shirts, it became a source of comfort after his friend’s death to the point he just hardly took it off.

• Atsushi’s attire, though hardly professional is actually acceptable considering what his ability does to clothes.

• Yosano, Dazai, and Kyouka all share a close somewhat familial bond over their dealings with the port mafia and Mori. Yosano also has a spare key to Dazai’s dorm incase he relapses.

• Dazai still cannot cook for shit no matter how people try to teach him, not even his mentor crush Atsushi is successful in doing so.

• Dazai always feels intimidated by Fukuzawa, and tries his hardest to avoid eye contact with him afraid he’ll disrespect him.

• the dynamics of skk and sskk are mostly unchanged other than sskk being both wiser between themselves, and skk being two feral little shits that need to be put in cages.

not sure if I mentioned Chuuya and Akutagawa being swapped like Dazai and Atsushi. Oops.

Look at that you got to the end, feels good? Bad? Well you got here anyways. I quite enjoyed rambling to the walls of my enclosure hoping to be given a piece of cheese, I actually forgot about my stresses for a moment whilst i ran to go grab my sketches. ‘Twas nice, happy holidays you crazy people who decided to read this post.

On this blog, I repost the same very popular Tweets dozens of other users have also reposted. My goal is to exclusively embed those Tweets, which automatically adds the accessibility feature that is alt text + a link to the original (with few exceptions in which I write the alt text myself, if I feel like a Tweet is notable enough but has apparently been deleted.)

By doing this, I would like to make those popular posts and memes accessible to more people. I would also like to show to more people that Tweet embeds are an option, to hopefully encourage them to use them in the future.

As a reminder, in order to embed a Tweet, all you have to do is paste its link onto your post.

You can easily copy the link of Tweets on either desktop or the app. (The placement can sometimes change on mobile from update to update, but the option should always be accessible via one of the buttons around your Tweet.)

Then open your fresh tumblr post and paste the link.

If you're sourcing your own brand new Tweet to share to tumblr for any reason, this is arguably quicker and easier to do than taking a screenshot and re-uploading it to tumblr. Please consider this option whenever possible - it's very convenient.

In my case, since my goal is to repost Tweets that are already popular on tumblr, I use Twitter's search function, which works very well (contrary to tumblr's).

If you already have a screenshot with the person's username, unless they deleted their account or changed their username, you're certain to find the original. Of course, this is only needed if you're looking for a Tweet to repost, and you won't need to do this if you just happen into a new Tweet you want to share to tumblr.

I encourage anyone to use this instead of screenshots whenever possible, because it's more convenient than having to type the alt text yourself! Even if you don't usually provide alt text, there's no reason not to let it be automatically written for you when it can be. Plus, it leaves a link to the original Tweet, which I feel like makes it more respectful to the user who wrote the funny joke.

Alt text is an accessibility feature that mostly benefits people who use screen-readers because they, for one reason or another, can't read the words on their screen. Especially when the image is the right size - so the "alt" button doesn't come in the way - as it is automatically generated by pasting the Twitter link, there's no harm in having it there whatsoever. All it does is include more people.

Accessibility isn't a one-size-fits-all. Some users may benefit more from Image descriptions that are written in the body of the post. However, alt text is a commonly accepted and convenient accessibility feature. On top of that, accessibility for the disabled can oftentimes wind up benefiting everyone - for example, being able to click the "alt" button allows people to see the contents of the image even if they have a poor connection and the image won't load. [NEWS] Fire Force: Two Performances for the "Enn Enn no Shouboutai Stage -Hakai no Hana, Souzou no Oto-" have been Cancelled

Yesterday (January 27, 2022), cancellations of the first and second "Fire Force Stage -Hakai no Hana, Souzou no Oto-" performance in Osaka (scheduled for January 27, 2022 and January 28, 2022) were announced because someone on the cast and crew had fallen sick. Thus far, no information has been released about the identity of the company member who has fallen sick and about what the illness is.

The status of the remaining performances remains unconfirmed.

I apologise for the personal tone of this update because I would also like to raise an awareness of the current COVID-19 situation in Japan, and how it's still affecting the 2.5D industry. Japan has seen a sharp increase in their number of COVID-19 infections since the start of this year, jumping from approximately 500 daily cases nationwide in December 2021 to approximately 78,000 daily cases nationwide in January 2022. In Osaka alone (where the Fire Force Stage is having their performances), approximately 9,000 daily cases have been recorded.

Due to the worsening COVID-19 situation, many stageplays and events have been cancelled (and are still facing the risk of cancellation) with company members falling ill and testing positive for COVID-19. This comes directly after the complete lockdown of the 2.5D industry and entertainment industry in 2020 and the many cancellations in 2021.

The first copies of the Louis 1883 reached fans! ANYWAY he also followed an account called kingofstyle which, no, isn't just another account of Niall's own, it's a page that just posts pics of dapper well dressed men (including Harry!), and today he wishes "our boy Shawn Mendes" a happy birthday and says, "what a great man you're turning into."

A social media marketing agency fires me while being sick without any notice or explanation.

I worked for a social media marketing company. I'd been there almost a year and hadn't used any of my 14 paid days off. I was the only contract worker, but I didn't complain. The money was ok, paid the bills, and my degree was not in business.

It's Saturday. I got from a whole day of running errands, it was raining and nasty, I was wet and cold, I felt sick. I emailed to my team and HR that I'm feeling sick and will be updating them. I felt it's important because there was a big pitch the whole agency was bending over. On Sunday, I felt it in my bones. I wrote another email. I didn't want anyone else to get sick before the pitch. Monday morning I was pouring gallons of shit water from my ass. I threw up twice, couldn't eat, couldn't swallow even water, couldn't sleep, couldn't move, no health insurance. I sent another email on Monday saying I feel worse, sent what I was able to finish to my manager and the team and wished luck with the pitch.

It was strange that this time I didn't get any, "get better," "sorry to hear that," etc. I was so sick I wasn't thinking too deeply about it though and decided to mindlessly binge on Netflix. Tuesday morning, I'm asking if all looks bueno. No response. I'm texting to my manager because this wasn't normal. No response. Then, I couldn't log in to my email. I got locked out from my work email. Doesn't take a genius to notice that something wacky has been going on. I got all my shit from Dropbox and whatever accounts I had on an external hard drive. I started making peace with the thought that I'm being fired. I just didn't know what for.

The next morning I see an email from HR with the subject "Effective Immediately" and saying, "Due to your repeated absences and your abuse of the paid time off, it was decided to terminate your employment." That's it. No further instructions, nothing. I tried to call my manager, but he didn't answer. He texted me later that day to give the address where my belongings should be delivered. I was still sick on Thursday. On Monday I got an email asking to sign it and send back. No instruction if I should do it by mail or email, just a lot of words reminding me what was in my contract: confidentiality blah blah blah, non-compete clauses blah blah blah, company's intellectual property blah blah blah. It looked like it was copied from an online template. I asked HR to send me a copy of my contract as everything was on my company's laptop. The contract was worded the way that working or even contacting with their clients could put me in legal trouble.

I got another job almost 2 months later. With maxed out credit cards and a $3K loan, I felt little helpless. They treated me like a piece of trash. After winning the pitch the agency has been bragging on social media about how amazing and millennial they are. On the company's social accounts they were trying hard to turn every little thing into a huge win. For me, every day was harder because the new job sucked, I felt excluded and didn't feel I'm the part of the culture. So, I've been checking the old agency's social media like a maniac. It got so bad I had to delete the Facebook app from my phone and install some chrome extensions to prevent me from visiting their social media. I stopped going to the gym, was eating unhealthy, broke up with a girl who actually liked me over a stupid argument, was stressed, and felt like a loser.

One day they posted a blog with so much praise for themselves... I cringed. While scrolling through everything people were saying, I realized that their pride blinded them to anything but positive feedback.

After 3 months since I got fired, my bank offered me skip a pay or something like that for 2 next months and I used the $700 to buy as many fake likes, follows, views, etc., as it was possible. From 2K they went to almost 50K followers on Facebook. They were getting 300-500 likes on their Instagram posts, their Twitter also jumped high from only 200 followers. After a week the $700 got me, I decided to go full in for another week and added $500 to the revenge budget. I was more selective, knew more, had better sites for cheaper, I was posting comments everywhere praising the agency, I even created a fake site which was "featuring" the best social media campaigns and ads. I created fake 2 months worth of content in the form of "awards," "special features," and fake polls, and then featured this agency on the front page. Every comment was retweeted, shared, commented back, thanked. It seemed they enjoy the ride a lot. From 1-2 post a week before I got fired they jumped to 2-3 posts a day on every platform. They were so full of themselves they thought they got all of this with their hard work.

2014-2015 was the golden era of Facebook and social media for this type of activities. After over 2 weeks of the hype, suddenly, one of their most cocky posts of theirs got 0 likes. Null. These fools were so caught up in the chase of their 'hard-earned' success, they didn't even check who likes their shit, who follows them. Those were bot accounts, all of them probably in India, cheap as hell, from some scammy sites you don't want to associate your business or name with, or even your IP. The agency had almost 120K followers on Facebook at some point. Going from less than 2K followers to 120K, imagine how the engagement went down. All their organic posts were non-existent. The whole agency looked like idiots because it was apparent from the outside it's all weird and that the hype's fake.

They were trying to get that hype back they started writing useless blogs like more pointless and worthless content would fix anything. Their headlines were screaming "clickbait," their posts and the volume of images they were posting looked desperate. One day... Oops, their FB is "not available." They got blocked! Since there were hundreds of thousands of the same cases in review (blocked accounts for similar schemes, etc.) and they had $0 ad spend on that page, they would wait months to get their account back. They had to create a new FB page, a new Instagram account, and after they shared again the link with their "we're honored to be featured..." I replaced the URL to link to another business in San Francisco lol and removed their entry from the front page. I wasn't even aware at the time, but after these 2 weeks of imverybadass behaviour they lost a few crucial employees. I heard a rumor they left the agency in the mid-project and someone inexperienced, with no fucking clue and their own projects had to finish it. It had to be a shit show. The client refused to pay and eventually they lost every single client they had on a regular yearly contract. From 25 employees, in less than 1 year, they went to 9! I don't think they realize even now the ratios of likes to comments was suspicious. 2K likes on a photo post with only a single comment saying "Amazing!", posted by Rakesh Johnson from nowhere, with the profile pic of an anime character...? You need to be a true-born idiot to buy that, and they were "an agency."

They still have fewer FB followers than they started with before firing me. They gave up on Twitter. Instagram is also bad, no engagement, no regular posts. Overall, $1,200 bought me back my self-esteem, which I consider money wisely spent.

As of today, I've been talking to that girl I screwed up with and things are looking promising. I'm making more than my previous manager (according to Glassdoor), and he is still with the same company, not having any client on any sort of retainer fee. Only small projects, zero social media activity, almost a dead company, with no talent wanting to work there, and a bad reputation in the area Imagine, a social media marketing company gets kick out from Facebook... laughable. Bunch of egocentric people who got the taste of their own bitter piss. Sometimes I really want to add another nail in the coffin, but I'm a better man now. I moved on and don't consider them worthy of my time. This post is my final goodbye to this issue.

I would like to tweet all fanwork from here to Twitter by sharing the link. I will never repost your work. The only thing that is seen is a small preview for art. If you should see your work reposted or used without permission, report the offender immediately! If you do NOT consent to me sharing the link to your work, I will respect your wishes. I’ll be asking everyone who submits an entry if they would mind me sharing a link to their work to the Hinaegi Festival’s Twitter before I do it!

I would like to share all fanwork from Twitter by sharing the link to this blog. I will never repost your work. The only thing that is in the post is a link, and nothing more (no previews). If you should see your work reposted or used without permission, report the offender immediately! If you do NOT consent to me sharing the link to your work, I will not! I shall be asking everyone who submits an entry if they would mind me sharing a link to the HiNaegi Festival’s Tumblr before I do it!

Each fanwork must clearly be either HiNaegi or Kamuegi (romantic or platonic). You can have other characters (and if you are going the platonic route, other pairings), but the focus must be on Makoto Naegi and Hajime Hinata/Izuru Kamukura.

You do not need to do an entry for every day, nor do you have to follow whatever prompt is assigned for that day! We may have a prompt list, but these prompts are completely optional. If you don’t want to do the prompt assigned for that day, or you are simply not inspired for it, make up your own prompt or take a look at other prompts people submitted for the event or have this generator pick a random one for you! Do however many you feel comfortable with, and take your time! If you can’t make it the week of the event, but still wish to participate, it is completely fine to submit your work early. Late uploads are also accepted, even if it is a month late or more. After the week is over, please Direct Message the hinaegifestival Twitter so that I can retweet

All forms of fanwork are accepted! (Fanart, fanfiction, cosplay, text chats, imagines/headcanons, memes, sprite edits, voice acting, animation, stim boards, etc.) However, the fanwork must be entirely yours, or have your sources clearly and correctly credited (ex: no weheartits, zerochans, or pinterests, and no “credit to the artists” or similar) I will block people who don’t credit the original creators, as reposting hurts the community more than it will ever help.

NSFW will be allowed, however please post only links to the full work. If it is fanart, you may put a SFW preview. Consider using sites like privatter to host these kinds of posts! Videos and audio must also be links, not uploaded directly to the Twitter post. If there are any possible triggers that are too much (gore, nudity, etc.) consider this method as well! For any questions on whether your fanwork needs to be linked, or not, or if you are confused on how to link your fanwork for Twitter and add previews, please contact me!

FAQ

q: why haven’t you responded to my request or general question?

a: i’m either busy, am actively looking for what you requested, or waiting for the right time to answer or post your question! hang tight. i read everything, i promise.

q: i submitted something i found, but you didn’t respond and/or posted the item without crediting me. why?

a: there are numerous reasons why this could’ve happened.

i get a lot of submissions for things i’ve already found on my own and have queued up.

your source was incorrect. :(

someone else found the piece and submitted it before you. i credit whoever messages me first. (keep in mind that not everyone wishes to be credited, though.)

i will always respond and offer credit when someone tracks down a garment that i’m stumped on or haven’t gotten to yet. please don’t feel ignored or slighted if i post something that has already been found! i really do appreciate the help no matter what.

q: how do i know if my source is correct?

a: read this! sourcing is very important to me, so please take an extra few minutes to make sure you aren’t giving me the link to a wrong (and often stolen) design.

q: do you accept requests/submissions for guest stars or people like brian w. foster and dani carr?

a: absolutely! i ran an instagram poll and 95% of the 500 people who voted were interested in seeing more people within the critical role circle featured. i’m working on including them more in the feed, so stay tuned.

q: there’s something i remember seeing a cast member wearing, but i don’t know what episode it’s featured in. can i still make a request?

a: yes. i get that we’ve all seen a shirt we loved, but just can’t remember where or when we saw it. try to give me as much information as possible. who wore it, what the design was, etc. even if you don’t remember the episode number, telling me that it’s around the time vox machina visited the feywild at least gives ms a window. requests with little-to-no information usually fall to the bottom of my list, so the more specific you are, the better.

q: there’s something i want to find through the tags, but it’s a popular item the cast member has worn numerous times. how can i find it?

a: i plan on going back and editing posts to include the tags of each episode the garment is worn in. it’s kind of a tedious process, but hopefully this account will be around for a long time and i need some way of tracking popular items. please bear with me as i will be slowly add in these tags.

q: how do you choose what to post?

a: there are a number of things that go into how i queue things. switching it up between cast members is the most important, followed by the type of garment, style, price, and availability. i basically try to mix things up to keep it exciting and inclusive for everybody.

i’m also working backwards, mainly because the streaming quality has improved so much over time. i would rather screencap something worn in episode c1e100 quality than episode c1e10 quality, if that makes sense. it may be a while until i post things from super early episodes.

q: why do you post things that are no longer available or out of stock?

a: things can always come back or be restocked, plus there are always outlets like poshmark and ebay where you can buy the items secondhand. i got a $40 shirt laura wore for $6 on poshmark! don’t feel discouraged if you see something that’s no longer on its main site, a little patience and digging on the internet go a long way.

q: is there anything you won’t post?

a: i will not post anything worn by orion acaba and this was decided by an overwhelming community vote. other than that, i am very open to anything.

q: will you ever post items that are similar but not exact to what the person is wearing? maybe cheaper versions as well?

a: at this time, i am pretty determined about being 100% accurate, but i have given a lot of thought into eventually including “dupes”. i get that not everyone can buy $180 overalls, so i might try to find a similar and more affordable version. we’ll see! i just need time to figure that all out. i’ve also ran polls to see if people would be interested in some non-related fun posts (ex: what the mighty nein would wear in real life) and everyone has seemed very open to it.

q: i designed something critical role related, can you share it for other critters to see?

a: i am all about supporting my fellow critters, but at this point, i will only share those things occasionally on twitter and instagram stories. i want the main account feed to stay consistent and focus on what the cast members have worn themselves. plus it’s kind of a “if i feature one person, i have to feature everyone” type of situation and the last thing i want to do is hurt people’s feelings.

q: what can i do to be more involved and helpful?

a: so many of you have reached out to me and i’m beyond grateful for it! i will occasionally post about items that i’m stumped on and need help from others to find. as always, submissions and requests are heavily encouraged.
