i daresay this episode was possibly one of the best in the whole series so far. the mystery and resolution was delivered brilliantly at the perfect pace (given the overall rather fast pacing of the anime); mushitarou's and yokomizo's utterly tear-jerking story given just the right amount of emotion and respect; yokomizo's final voiceover to mushitarou as ranpo burnt the final page of the manuscript; the confrontation between ranpo and mushitarou and how ranpo calmly turned the tables on mushitarou until their positions were literally reversed, within the already stunning visuals of poe's ability space; the narrative emphasis on ranpo's (lack of) ability and cooperation with poe and respect between him and the ADA that sets the tone for the rest of the season. and then the final scenes where nikolai shows up (and his character is adapted so well) and how the calm and emotional ending theme starts playing just before we hear the gunshots through the radio and everything cuts off to impending doom.
I finally got my Yunho solo song after being angry last year that he was the only one who didn't get to do a birthday song and I'm so happy I legit got emotional when I saw the video. I love this boy so effing much. He's just so precious and I wanna keep him in my pocket and protect him from the world.
I'm limp and dewy with love and gratitude right now for the response to today's announcement... 🥺🙏💗
I was so scared to check my notifications after it went live, thinking oh god, what if everyone just gives up on the novel and unsubscribes...
No matter what happens, I'll always be so heartened and inspired by the little community that has formed around this story - I hope everyone who contributes (monetarily or otherwise) feels that WMOM belongs partly to them as well.
let me put this in terms republicans can understand: sidelining half the workforce to force them to be breeding stock is going to ruin the economy. most households are dual-income and still barely able to support raising a family. how tf are you expecting men and post-menopausal women to work enough to support a country that will rapidly produce even more people
this is, of course, secondary to the fact that this is the biggest curtailing of rights this country has ever seen and a serious mockery of what was supposed to be the highest, most respected court in the nation. i'm fuming
