A/N: as a genshin player and zb1 enjoyer, i own a wealth of knowledge. if you don't know what i'm referencing or talking about then i'm sorry lmao i get rly into genshin

WORDS: ~600 (~100 each)

WHALES 🐋

GYUVIN - ok puppy dog has no spending sense and would swipe swipe swipe until he got the character. or somehow get his account robbed and card details stolen. wouldn't swipe for c6 on characters but would swipe for all the skins.

plot goes soaring over his head. though, he'd get 100% completion completely on accident bc he runs from chest to chest completing everything bc ooh shiny. (it's what i do)

definitely hops across different coop worlds to be an absolute menace. steals all your starconches, beatles and cor lapis and leaves.

a whale so team comp doesn't quite matter, but i feel like cool burst animation is a must.

RICKY - need i explain? he doesn't even play the game often, he just sees a cool looking character and swipes. feels like he would c6r5 a character if he really liked them. would get surprisingly into event content just for the exclusive items etc. cares mildly about the plot and zero for the exploration.

would play cool and pretty characters bc when you're a whale, team composition just doesn't matter.

META 🎮

MATTHEW - a confirmed nerd by his sister so you bet he's an enthusiast. pays attention to kqm, twitter and future patch leaks. grinds out for the spiral abyss and has op asf team combos. would spend but only if he knows it's worth it.

enjoys the plot and characters, but not massive on exploration. still enjoys all the characters thoroughly and knows more lore tidbits than most. is the sweetest coop friend.

GUNWOOK - okokok he'd be apprehensive at first until he pulls like c5 benny and a eula then the world of dps (damage per screenshot) awakens. fights wars in the trenches of the honeyhunterworld comments section. stays updated and dips in and out of the game.

secretly stays about for plot. finds exploration boring but can admit it's pretty. the dude who refuses to swap characters when doing coop domains. does a boss blitz when bored.

CASUALS 💫

HANBIN - ok only got it bc the kids said he should. (gyuvin uses him to get the coop achievements) actually ended up staying bc wow everything is gorgeous, the plot is engaging and the characters have depth! and it's all free ?? goes about it at a decent pace, doesn't do spiral often, just finishing floor 10.

tcg enjoyer and event player.

ZHANG HAO - TEAPOT MAIN god yeah hella into the teapot. only completes the story and everything for the teapot. comes on sometimes to help hanbin out or bc someone else needs mats from his world. has a solid overworld team for collecting mats etc.

mildly enjoys the plot but exploration is where it's at.

NOT A GAMER 🌱

JIWOONG - only got it bc everyone else did, found out it took too much space on his phone, deleted it. tried playing it on gunwook's pc but had to play zhongli with his shield up 24/7 bc mechanics are hard okay! does see it as pretty and that yeah some characters are worth spending money for but there are better ways to find enjoyment in life.

TAERAE - doesn't mind it. he just doesn't see the hype over online characters. if and when he does play, it's on someone else's account and on the tcg. man loves the tcg, making decks and sweeping the floor with everyone.

has insane pull luck.

YUJIN - hmmm he sorta thinks it's cringe but gyuvin makes him play it. defo a valorant kid. tried to make a gun didn't work. plot doesn't matter much to him, interested in some character backstory but dips out when it comes to exploring. yujin defo thinks childe, xiao and alhaitham are cool. paimon gets on his nerves the most.

"Shall we start?", it's for the segments in the game with quizes and such, I don't know what else to say about it.

Well, the character that relates to this theme likes to make quizes with very technical stuff, like verb tenses, the square of numbers, these quizes I think I shouldn't make obligatory, not everyone is a nerd like me to remotely enjoy this, but I also felt like it needed to have them to characterize the character that does the quizes y'know? So I thought, "I can make them skippable or maybe a character could give you hints if you're really bad at it but don't want to skip!" and you may think "but zorubark verb tenses and squares are really easy why would I need to skip it" that's a great question I actually just said that as an example way more complicated stuff may be chosen, may, still wanna make it enjoyable so the level of difficulty will be just ok

As always, this theme was made using loops from looperman, which are all free for commercial use, but I'm not gonna upload it to spotify or anything, I'd like to finish the album for my game idea first, game idea bc I only know how to draw and make music lol I can't code, my dad can though, he said he would help me, maybe one day you will see her in her full glory! Maybe by that time the theme will be updated, even.

FR not tagging this bc I'm not stating this to start shit. It's just some bullshit I notice. Dami stans will fr be like "ugh I hate how people think Tim Drake is cool or their blorbo, misinterpret him entirely, and act like he's baby." Then they turn around and do the exact same thing to Damian.

So just to cover this entire thing by my personal perspective: Tim is a fucking rich nerd white boy. He did stupid shady shit as a kid and figured out things he shouldn't have been able to. Why? I don't know, ask the writers why he does the logic leap shit. Was he mistreated? yes and no. Just because someone has parents that don't actively physically abuse them doesn't mean they aren't dealing with some shit. I say this as someone who was never hit, but was definitely mistreated. Kid loses his surrogate father figure, a solid chunk of his team, and has one rock to cling to left. Gets that taken away. You wanna tell me you'd be all good after that? No, no you wouldn't. And before you try to tell me he's even some kind of more stable than [insert batfam member here], ain't no one in that family stable. Do I know everything about Tim? nope. But I know the kid's smart, unstable, and the first meeting I recall between him and Damian, he was reasonably decent. His joke landed like a lead balloon, but again, unstable fucking nerd. He's not perfect. Damian is an abused kid. Does this merit compassion? sure, but compassion does not equal dismissing his fucking wrongdoings. Did he need to be seen as a valuable part of the family? absolutely. Does that excuse being consistently a bratty little prick to part of his new family? no. How tf do you stans expect him to learn how to be something other than what he was raised to be if he's not fucking taught how? And yes that includes being told he did shit wrong and that wasn't ok. I know full well he needs stability and acceptance and such. But I'm also very serious when I say that doesn't include permission to do whatever the fuck he wants. That's just begging for problems. He already had enough of the "little prince" trait coming in. That needs to be tempered, kind of a lot. Ok blood son, we get it. But you're not a more important member of the family than anyone else. Damian needs a controlled, compassionate reality check.

Tim needs to know that he has a place without having to be useful 110% of the time.

They're both extremely flawed people who clash because they can't give the other what they need. And that's totally ok! They don't have to do that work. They don't even have to get along perfectly. I just don't want to see the stupid hypocrisy of "This one sucks, but this one is baby", calling out every flaw of one while ignoring the flaws of the other.

I like them both because they're both flawed. Same with the rest of the bat family. Let everyone be a complete mess and just trying to get by in the life they have. Makes them all the more human.

Hello Adriana! I binge read all of Let My love and I just want to say that it is absolutely lovely!!! It hurt me in the best of ways and I just... I just want to lock Kuroo and Tsukki in a closet somewhere! Would you share some kurotsuki/terutsuki headcanons (or any of the couples)? Only if you're willing to of course, as the fic is still ongoing. I'm really excited for the next chapter and I'll be patiently waiting.

Ahh first off, thank you so much! This anon made my day and gave me the strength to finish up some of my assignments so bless you lol. I’m super excited whenever people ask about lml, it’s my favorite fic to write and I have so many headcanons about it skdjfn I’m really just flattered that you enjoyed it enough it send this ask

Minor spoilers under the cut:

Terutsukki

-Tsukki is Terushima’s first long-term relationship in years, before him he’s mostly had flings or one night stands. He’s not ashamed of that of course, but part of him does worry that Tsukki would think less of him if he found out, since some people aren’t as open minded

-Terushima really respects Tsukki though for how smart and non-judgmental he’s been so far, and enjoys spending time with him

-Romantic intentions or not, Terushima really feels that Tsukki listens to him when he needs it most, and had Tsukki been in a relationship when they’d first met, they still would’ve gone on to be really good friends

-before Tsukki met Kuroo, he was content with dating Terushima, but he never really has the urge to be overly affectionate or physical with him; it’s not in a disgusted way, it’s just that the usual passion isn’t there, though they’ve had sex a few times

-Their relationship is actually fairly nice for both of them though, they’re super different people and often clash, but they admire each other’s qualities, especially if they themselves lack some of those traits that the other has

-Terushima likes having a partner he can pamper and show off, while Tsukki values someone who he can work with to achieve their goals and someone he can cherish in private

-one of their first dates involved them going to a nice restaurant, but they can’t manage to get a reservation and the manager is snooty as hell, so instead they pretend to get engaged in the restaurant’s lobby and totally get free food out of it. It’s a fun time.

-Terushima doesn’t have a lot of experience with love or what it’s like to fall in love, but he does know that he’s grateful that Tsukki is in his life

Kurotsuki

-when they first meet in the library, Tsukki also feels the weird pull (not just Kuroo), and he can’t help but think of Kuroo all the way up until he falls asleep

-Tsukki looks up to Kuroo and is super thankful for him, despite how much he roasts him lol. For Tsukki, finding someone who doesn’t exhaust him is rare and something he appreciates

-Kuroo and Tsukki are relatively private individuals but around each other they over share way too much lmao they can’t fucking help it, by the end of week one, Tsukki knows Kuroo’s thoughts on movies, books, politics, you name it

-of course, the subject of family hardly comes up, but wow, wouldn’t that have saved them some awkwardness huh?

-Tsukki always finds excuses to restock books in rows near Kuroo, just so they can talk. He’d never admit this.

-They both love horror movies and one day when it’s super slow, they stream some shitty ones on Kuroo’s laptop

-Kuroo’s jokes and puns are fucking terrible but Tsukki remembers every single one

-Kuroo is super observant of Tsukki’s behaviors and after talking to him for a while, becomes familiar with the things which make Tsukki happy or uncomfortable

-Tsukki also sees through Kuroo quite easily, and doesn’t get why he feels the need to act so confident even when he’s clearly having a bad day

-the thirst is real but Tsukki is so astonished by it initially that he just pushes it away and acts like he imagines it

-they never want to cross the line of actually going out together outside of the library/coffee shops, but they always speak in hypotheticals. “if we ever went to an amusement park, we’d have to go on this…” “if we ever go to the movies, we need to see this director” “I’d kick your ass at mini golf, just pick a date and we’ll go”

-they know deep down it’s probably not good for them to do it but their imagination is kinda all they have so whatever

-I’m sorry but I just have to say that Semishira is the cutest married couple ever okay, they’re fucking saltmates and they’re probably worse than kyouhaba when it comes to group gossip

-Semi is a famous volleyball player and Shirabu retired after an injury, but he enjoys working from home and travelling around the world with Semi

-Semi is super whipped and everyone makes fun of him, but honestly Shirabu would die for him so it’s even

-Semi always scolds Shirabu for roasting people but when they’re all alone they hella high five each other bc damn that shit was savage, and Semi is proud

-Though Semi knew Shirabu since he was in diapers, they didn’t develop feelings for each other until high school, and it was super embarrassing for both of them

-Everyone still gives them shit for it

-The group knows Yachi from college but she may as well have been there from the beginning, she’s their anxious angel. In Uni, they’d always order food for her or call the office whenever she felt too nervous, but make no mistake, if it gets to a breaking point, she will put her foot down, and they’re all weak as fuck to her

-Yachi’s “I’m disappointed in you” face is a force to be reckoned with

-She can even reign in Oikawa when he’s having a dramatic episode ok? She’s fucking hardcore, she totally is the first person he called when he was first getting to know Iwaizumi

-Yachi loves all her dumb boys, it’s law

-Kuroo and Terushima are the ones who conspired back in high school to push Kyoutani and Yahaba together after years of pining

-Kyoutani’s parents were never home when he was little so the group always had sleepovers, and Kyoutani and Yahaba always seemed to mysteriously disappear…

-Kuroo is the nerd of the group and the group never understood why everyone thought he was a suave bad boy in high school, since Kuroo spent half his time buried in books

Honestly there’s so much more…I haven’t scratched the surface of iwaoi and their relationship with Suga, but anymore and I feel like I’d be going overboard LOL but I hope you enjoyed these! I’m also tagging @rhealmobsidi bc maybe she’d be interested?
