the game will run from 03 to 10 may 2024 ! it will be hosted by me :)

participants are not allowed to interact with their original biases. their original biases do not exist to them during this game.

participants may reply to asks containing their original bias' name, but must not say it / describe the bias in any way.

players and non-players are allowed to sabotage each other. a list with everybody's original biases will be released !

sabotaging others who have the same bias as you is allowed , but you are not allowed to say the bias' name, or describe them in any way.

url changes are not necessary , but theme changes ( if it has your original bias ) are ! players are given 24 hours to change their themes if their original theme is of their original bias — before earning a strike .

players who lose the game will earn a forfeit ♡

on strikes

participants have 3 lives ! with each strike, one life dies. 3 strikes, and the player loses the game.

reblogging things with / directly responding to things that contain your original bias' / or their name will incur a strike. saying your bias' name / describing your bias will also incur a strike !

players are allowed to reblog the original bias list post at the start of the game. reblogging it midway through the game will earn you a strike bc it contains the name .

during this ebg, you can earn points by creating things about your assigned bias. ( eg. if my assigned bias is kaeya, and if i write something for kaeya (200+ words), i'll get 500 points! )

about points

500 points are awarded as a standard for each creation. for writing, it should be 200 words minimum, and for art, it should be lineart minimum. i do not accept doodles. for edits, it'll be at my discretion! each piece should have some effort put into it – not just created for the sake of earning points.

players can use their points from creations to strike people ! each strike costs 1000 points . each player is limited to one earnable strike each day . just send me an ask to strike someone !

players will be able to spend 2000 points to heal themselves as well ! the heals have no limit per day !

for 2000 points , players can redeem one hour to be free from ebg , starting from the period of time when i approve the redemption . the hour is consecutive and cannot be split up into different periods . this one hour can only be redeemed ONCE in the entirety of the whole game. if players start the hour without my knowledge, they will earn a strike.

I don't usually talk about personal things on here but...I had the most delicious kona bowl today alongside a very nice lemon drop, I finished sewing a patch I embroidered onto one of my favorite cropped hoodies, and the new weed I got smells fruity in the best way.

Odin isn't an abusive parent so much as a guy given maybe one of the most difficult children to raise in the universe. As someone who has worked with incredibly complicated trickster children before...I have some level of empathy for Odin trying to wrangle his bloodthirsty and self-absorbed nightmare child away from a throne that he could give him under no circumstances.

I don't think he was winning any dad of the year awards, either, but I do think that he loved Loki and ultimately saw his own terrible nature in him and was afraid of what Loki might do with it. In the mythos, they're blood brothers and I think that they are in many ways two sides of the same coin, and because of that I like to approach Odin with more nuance than "bad dad."

I think this is actually my favorite piece in the entire fandom. I had it as my computer background for at least a month after I saw it, and whenever I think of "the end" I think of this. The idea that Mobius is the crux of Loki's choice while being forever separate from him is so perfectly replicated in this. The warm tones that convey a sense of loss, the silhouette of Mobius's back while we watch Loki looking him. It's so haunting, so tragic, so ephemeral. I don't often buy prints of things, but I would buy one of this.

I apologize for the severe radio silence literally everywhere for the last 2/3 days! While Christmas and New Years Eve were immensely fun, my social batteries were depleted to the absolute max (which is very rare for me), along with coughing fits recommencing and so I needed some air (which didn't do my lungs well either, 'cause apparently I'm supposed to sit forever and rest and never live life), and then when I was inside, it was Sims time while waiting for my batteries to recharge. But now it's time to get 2024 started here.

I never know how to answer these questions, but usually my go to is the closing scene in atlas. I'm not going to post it, but I think it's one of the most tender, devastating things I've ever written. it feels like talking to a lover in the dark to me.

12. Is there an episode above all others that inspires you just a little bit more?

prime knows the choke hold that s1:e1 in loki has on me because I won't shut up about it. specifically, the interrogation scene had me looking into the camera like I was in the office the first time I watched it because I couldn't believe marvel was cool with bdsm like that. I've actually read the script of it no less than....five times. it's actually pulled up on my tabs right now. I reference it constantly.

14. What’s the worst writing advice you’ve ever come across?

write what you know! most people don't know a lot, and that's why a lot of books are boring and uninspired with the same boring protagonist. my life definitely inspires my works, but if I only wrote about what I knew, my writing would suffer. (there's something to be sad about this being true for specific topics/concepts - knowing more absolutely makes you a better author, but you shouldn't limit yourself by your own tiny scope)

11: What do you like best about this fic?

you linger and remain really just came from the idea of getting used to an empty bed after losing a partner, so honestly just how much that detail ended up being core to the whole piece might be my favorite part.

I had all these snippets of Steve's headspace through it all and it was really fun trying to weave that into a narrative around loss and anger and ???sleep deprivation I guess hahahah.

2: What scene did you first put down?

The first scene I put down for as the leaves are changing was probably the opener, because I do often like to figure out the framing of things before I drafting anything.

But actually this one came from a bunch of little conversations between Steve and Bucky that I had already scribbled down. Dug up my old notes and the first scene with a detailed outline is when Bucky's bugging Steve about his sexuality and crush on Matt!
