for me its when people draw joel (smallishbeans) with no facial hair…. even the three lines on his chin is better than nothing !! i completely understand why people do this because he doesnt have facial hair in his youtube icon or normal minecraft skin but. its my little pet peeve. it doesnt feel right to me

second time thru RoW and i still don’t like the deal dalinar made. it’s so … presumptuous? he is so determined to speak for all of mankind and to believe he’s making the right decision and (as his history has shown) he’s not the most reliable on that front. sure he’s able to uphold HIS morality but that doesn’t mean it’s right, esp considering he’s more put off by the murder of a slimy evil man who tried to kill him multiple times than the concept of slavery

i'm sorry but...we all know snape is the one who told voldemort the prophecy...but does it not make more sense...for snape to find out that something is coming that could be the end of voldemort...so he has this moral dilemma/personal crisis of what to do with the info...because you've given me ample evidence of snape being on the fence...because on the hand he's using the word mudblood...but on the other hand he's calling himself the half blood prince...he can't say he wants to be a death eater...but he's not saying he doesn't want to be one...so he doesn't know what to do with what he heard...only for voldemort to use occlumency on him anyway...so snape makes a concerted effort to fortify his mind...so that's why he was so good at occlumency...so good that he never got his mind penetrated by voldemort again.

occlumency is such a big part of his character, does this not make more sense??

eh not excited that the next cr novel is about another pc. The Nine Eyes of Lucien was a much stronger book than Kith & Kin imo because it offered a POV we hadn't seen yet and recontextualized a character we didn't get to know very well. I'm sure laudna novel will be like, fine, in the same way that K&K was fine, but man I would much rather get more npc content

Like, even within the same SEASON. kitty in s3ep5 vs s3ep7 feel quite different, and not I a way I care for. I know characters don't stay how they are in earlier seasons (and honestly, they probably shouldn't). Kitty has learned more about boundaries with Alison over the seasons, which is great!! At the same time, she seems to have become more naive and childlike than before. I feel like seasons 2 was the best balance of all of Kitty's traits -- naive, kind, intuitive, lonely, immature, curious, optimistic, etc etc

Nevertheless, I'm hoping for a lot of great moments from Kitty this upcoming season (with Cap but also with other ghosts or on her own)!

So I made a playlist of the songs I liked from that 100 albums project I was working on. Well, Phase One of that album project. Phase Two starts in August.

I did my best to have at least one song from every album. Some have more than one, but you know how it goes. How am I supposed to choose between Thunder Road and Born to Run? Or Closer and Hurt? Or More Than A Feeling and Peace of Mind and Hitch a Ride? Literally impossible.

(yeah there are like 5 Djo songs on there. I couldn’t pick what to take out, don’t judge me!)

In the end, I narrowed it down to 163. Which is a lot, but like I said - with at least one song per album, this playlist was always gonna be long.

Slight exception: No Neil Young, since his albums aren’t on Spotify.

Perhaps I’ll do this again when I’m done with Phase Two.
