Penny's not a gun, she's a girl with built-in weaponry. Yeah, she was meant For combat, but she's so much more than just a piece of hardware to be pointed at an enemy, so Atlas can claim a victory over someone else.

I just going to put this here because I’m honestly sick to death of the “Sisterhood” argument and already saw people bringing up Monty again on Reddit.

No, Monty never said he intended Team RWBY to be a sisterhood (Besides Yang and Ruby who are sisters), that bs came from a random website.

The closest thing is Monty saying the interaction between the girls in Volume 2 Chapter 10 were almost sisterly, not that they are unless there a post I missed where he said otherwise then link me it.

If you prefer Yang and Blake, Ruby and Weiss, ect to be strictly platonically with each other or prefer another ship entirely then that’s fine and cool but some of y’all need to stop bringing up a dead man so your preference can some weight to it.

RWBY Rework Yang Xiao Long

yang is a very difficult design (but Blake is proving to be harder) mainly because from the get go she's been an afterthought (Monty himself admitted it) and I think that's come though in every design she's had since. The designers are always putting her in this ugly golden brown or a tan color s she doesn't get lost in her hair but it ends up covering him in brown instead of yellow. Her volume 2 looks was her best because the yellow accents really popped and it made her hair the biggest bit of yellow on her sort of like Ruby's cape being her red.

I wanted to incorporate her volume two black and yellow to keep her outfit from blending into her hair a bit. I think the yellows I picked might be too close, in the future I might make them lighter and more tan. I think the biggest deviation I did was making her eyes red. Honestly, I did it because in my rewrite I did the most controversial thing by rearranging the partners of some teams. Ruby and Yang are partners in this and Blake and Weiss are partners. Trust me it's fo a good reason. I wanted Yang to visually have a connection to Ruby and I think red eyes is the best way. Also, while purple is yellows complimentary color I think yellow and red sells the fire aesthetic and hotheaded nature of Yang better than a cooler color like purple that is better suited for Blake and Weiss.

Minor thing, her undershirt is black I realized a bit ago it kind of looks like the sleeves of her jacket/vest

I mostly kept her character the same, with more emphasis on her dynamic with Ruby and emotional turmoil. I'll get into that later don't feel like writing up an entire character post rn lmao

So this is another RWBY poll:

In order to fill in a minor/huge plot-hole in the RWBY story (depending on your view). I decided to ask my viewers (anyone, really) to vote on Ruby's days back in Signal academy. Because I find it really strange that she never once mentioned any of her classmates or other faculty members (besides Qrow) during her time at Signal indicating that she kept to herself (loner) or she's probably a sociopath. Either those 2 or CRWBY is a hack! This is the kind of questions that kept me up at night btw.

One logical conclusion I can take from this is that Ruby was "bullied" back in Signal and thats why she never mentioned or even bothering contacting anyone in the academy. This explains why Ruby was so eager to leave everything behind the moment an opportunity arise. And also why she wanted to make as many friends as she can in Beacon. And why I think Ruby's personality is the way it is. Her happy, bubbly personality is actually a facade to hide her depression...

Anyway I want y'all to choose which one do you like the most? And yes, this will connect to my main RWBY fic.

And not to worry Ruby will get her "vengeance" so to speak in the end....

Canonseeker, no, Eren. I know you think you can get away with saying anything on the internet no matter how ludicrous or false, but this time you have crossed the line. Your video can be seen as actionable enough for someone to take legal action for libel, impersonation, and slander against you, and you just provided free evidence for it. Now, I am not saying that I individually will throw a lawyer at you, but someone with financial backing could definitely do so now and they’d likely win the case. There’s so much evidence of your behavior and actions from dozens upon dozens of people who would be more than willing to testify against you because you’ve been doing this for several years now.

Eren, you fabricated screenshots of SYTO in his name, impersonated him on a sockpuppet account in your own private Discord server (Incorrect name color, for one, made it quite easy to tell it was fake, not to mention the impersonations are so poorly done that it’s clear you just wrote in your own mannerisms the SYTO you imagined him to be.) and you wrote statements in his name that are 100% designed to paint him as a racist, sexist, and transphobic bigot. You have put your own words into SYTO’s mouth. You should not only delete the video in question, you should own up, apologize for this blatant violation of the law, delete all your sockpuppet accounts and never interact with social media ever again. You are unwelcome. The people who respond to your false statements, myself included, do not want to be around you. If someone says no, Eren, you need to respect that and stop going after people. Miles did say something about Jaune and Ruby gonna reconcile and repair their friendship in V10 as a must, do you think that would be a perfect timing for Lancaster to happen or would that have to be later?

With how deprived we were of anything Lancaster throughout all of Volumes 7, 8, and 9, we better fucking get some Lancaster content, AND ONLY Lancaster content, I will accept nothing less.

And I don't want no brisk little exchange of words, no, I want a full several minutes long conversation of them talking and apologizing to one another for the bullshit that happened in V10. They should've been the ones on that damn bridge, not the shells of two formerly great characters reduced to nothing but gay pandering.

But I unfortunately don't trust CRWBY to do that since they're dullards and the writing for the latter half of Volume 8 and all of Volume 9 were meh or piss poor at best, cause if the only worthwhile thing to come out of V9 was Ruby and Jaune's development, CRWBY are going to have to get their shit together and make this Lancaster moment genuinely the best fucking writing they've put together in their 10 or so years of being a company.

Sorry if this was a rant of an answer, but I have a lot of vitriol for CRWBY and the shit they've done the past few years to their staff, their audience, and their own show...if there's one thing that's going to keep me invested at all is Jaune and Ruby, the only two characters who haven't been tarnished by bad writing. All that White Knight crap in V9 was just...ugh.

Also I'm gonna come out and say it, White Knight is painfully mid, but no disrespect to people who like it.

Reminder that the V9 epilogue (as wonderful as it looks and feels to watch) was scratched in favor of a commercial. One that should have its own separate advertisement budget than the show itself.

It feels like they’re dangling the epilogue to entice people into watching more/ green lighting 10.

The show needs fully new writers before I can support it in earnest. I love the characters and will continue to use them for my own enjoyment but the show itself has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Just because Rooster Teeth is a “small” company doesn’t mean people can’t call it out or that it’s above criticism.

Steel Wool Studios, Gun Media, Dynamic Pixels and Grove Street Games are also all small companies yet that didn’t stop people from “punching down” when came to giving the companies feedback back on their products or calling out the higher ups on their awful behaviour towards their employees like in the case of Kindly Beast Studios.

Rooster Teeth isn’t “hewpwess wittwe victim that did nothing wwong UwU” and that’s the same for all companies…It’s very unsettling to me how many people gives so much blind faith they put in a company but not the employees that work there both currently and formerly.

As I write this video essay I realize just how much Yang really is an after thought.

From her color, to her outfit to her overall characterization.

Ruby is the leader of team RWBY & is going to sooner or later take charge of the new world order if the writers do it right.

Weiss is heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, a business woman & such a leader who wants to change the way her company is navigating.

Blake is is basically a Faunus Princess who has worked in & outs of the White Fang & wants to lead a new movement for her people.

Yang is just………an older sister I guess but she didn’t raise Ruby by herself & we don’t see her take that older sister role not since V1 or V2 I believe.
