Scooter-Friendly Cities: Ride and Explore
Tumblr media
More people are choosing to use scooters as their primary mode of transport. With that in mind it’s no big surprise that cities around the world are becoming more accommodating to those getting around on two wheels. Whether you are a seasoned rider, or just looking to get started exploring on two wheels, there are plenty of cities that are perfect for you! Read this outline for some of the best scooter-friendly cities you MUST visit.
Barcelona, Spain
First up, Barcelona. This vibrant city is well known for its architecture, its narrow bustling streets, and of course, the beaches. However, did you know it’s also well-known for being incredibly bike friendly? With dedicated lanes, it’s easy to get around on a scooter. Nip through the traffic and enjoy some of the top sights, including the Gothic Quatre, Passig de Gracia, and La Sagrada Familia.
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Another city that’s a must-visit for scooter enthusiasts is Amsterdam. While Amsterdam is well known for being bicycle friendly, it’s also a dream for any scooter rider. Amsterdam is a small, mostly flat city with tons of bike paths. This means you can easily cover a lot of ground and experience a little of everything this vibrant city has to offer.
Bangkok, Thailand
For those who are wanting for something a little more bold and exotic, why not visit Bangkok? While the traffic in Bangkok may appear a little hectic, for those exploring on a scooter, it’s no problem. Many locals use scooters as they’re perfect for shooting around back streets and alleyways. So, why not opt for a local experience in Bangkok? Don’t forget to try some of the delicious street food the city is famous for.
San Francisco, United States
If you’re thinking of a trip across the pond, look no further than San Francisco. It has a hilly terrain which makes it a challenging destination for cyclists; however the perfect destination for scooter riders. You can easily zip up and down the hills and get all over town. Don’t forget to take in the remarkable panoramas of Alcatraz Islan, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the many vibrant neighborhoods that make up this amazing city. And if you’re feeling adventurous, head over to Lombard Street, the “most crooked street in the world,” for a thrilling ride.
Taipei, Taiwan
Taipei is known for its exciting night markets, street food, and cultural attractions, but did you know it’s the perfect destination to explore on BMG scooters? The city has dedicated scooter lanes, which make it easy to explore on two wheels. You’ll get getting around in the same way as many of the locals. Some of the top sights you simply can’t miss include Taipei 101, the National Palace Museum, and the historic district of Dadaocheng. Don’t leave without sampling some of the city’s famous street food, like stinky-tofu and bubble tea.
So, with the right gear and an adventurous mindset, a scooter is sure to be the perfect addition to your lifestyle. So why not give it a go? You may just find it’s the perfect way to see the world.

I say Do not go without great tasting dishes made with olive oil. Ahmetce the sea was home to famous religious scholars at the same time. Dr. Mahmud es’ad coşan Effendi was born in this village.
the peace of the surrounding villages and Ahmetce 35 years ago, ran off with foreign uranium mining companies coming for. The villagers that run for a short time in the mines the uranium cancer. Then they went to Mineral Wells by shutting down foreign companies. In particular, curious to groundwater resources, it may be a different route for those who want to do journalism.

Sewn on the map’s a little under, but Sewn in any way with the natural beauty’s not under the place, which Denizkoy. Prices are relatively more affordable here and scoop plenty of the cooks.
This is the most attractive side in the village, avoid much of the crowd. Denizkoy from our list of the most peaceful villages’s Golden Beach and the amazing clarity of the sea…

[Review] The Sensational “Critical Eleven”
Ika Natassa. I’ve heard about her a lot for the past two to three years. To those who are unaware, she is an Indonesian romance novel  writer who has launched more than five books from what I remember (yup, I’m neither her fan or her anti). A lot of people recommended me to read her books, especially Critical Eleven–the sensational novel that tells a lovey-dovey story about Anya and Ale.
I’m not a book lover so I didn’t read the book until two days before watching the movie. Sebelumnya, I’ve read another novel of hers and that is The Underground and The Architecture of Love. Di halaman awal Critical Eleven, it feels like dejavu. I’m a lit student so I understand tiny bits about plotting and hers is not a good one, for me. Sorry.
Gue merasa seperti baca fan fiction versi ratusan halaman–bukan dalam artian negatif. I also write fan fictions just because I’m a fool for K-pop idols. But it’s not a bad thing! Harry Potter pun nggak realistis tapi melegenda hampir di seluruh dunia, kan?
Now the movie. It’s not something I would call exceptional, but it indeed presented different things compared to the book.
Jujur, waktu baca novelnya, gue membayangkan sosok Nia Ramadhani, Chelsea Islan, Rachel Weisz (ini jujur), atau Gista Putri karena that’s how the description in the book depicted the character on my mind. Jujur lagi, gue pun membayangkan tokoh Ale seperti Marcel/Mischa Chandrawinata, Hamish Daud (I thought about this waktu nonton but sorry Hamish, your acting needs some improvement), bahkan sampe mikirin Mario Lawalata yang sekarang jadi host acara makan-makan, nggak ada aktor-aktornya sama sekali.
But I believe they have reasons for it. Strategi marketing mereka bagus banget dengan cara memakai Reza Rahardian as the dreamy fictional character named Ale. Correct me if I’m wrong). Actingnya memang tidak usah diragukan. Gue yakin the shittiest script pun mungkin bisa dibuat hidup sama dia. I’m not a fan, tapi gue sangat mengapresiasi passion dia di bidang acting dan bagaimana dia menjiwai setiap perannya. Still amazed at how he acted out Pak Habibie’s gesture. That’s a true talent he got right there. No wonder people are chasing after the movie’s premiere tickets.
Nggak heran ya film nya booming. Plot cerita sangat dreamy, talent nya mengundang interest orang-orang (they have Reza Rahadian, Adinia Wirasti, Hamish Daud on the line!!!), marketingnya  bagus dengan publicity stunt antara Reza dan Asti, account twitter dan instagram tokoh yang di follow ribuan penggemar Critical Eleven. It’s just wow. Ika Natassa memang pintar. Bukan hanya pintar menulis, tapi dia jelas tahu bagaimana cara memasarkan sesuatu supaya itu booming. It feels like AADC and Eiffel I’m In Love all over again.
I’m a lit student). Tapi, gue harus apresiasi Ika Natassa for making her works big in the industry. Amazed at how she builds every character yang pada akhirnya bisa bikin orang-orang tergila-gila.
I’m highly anticipating for The Architecture of Love movie.
  Cheers!

Glass luxury condo coming to South of Fifth neighborhood in Miami Beach
People who live in Glass houses … will have few neighbors. A good thing if they value privacy. A new 18-story luxury condominium called Glass, slated for the sizzling South of Fifth neighborhood of Miami Beach, will boast just 10 units with 360-degree views and wide outdoor terraces. Miami-based Terra Group tapped Rene Gonzalez, a highly regarded Miami architect, for the project at 120 Ocean Dr.. The oceanfront high-rise will feature floor-to-ceiling glass walls and aim at integrating the indoors and outdoors to highlight the natural beach surroundings and convey a sense of place. “It’s really a unique design,’’ said Terra Group president and chief operating officer David Martin, who could have put three times as many units on the site. “It’s something I don’t think I’ll be able to do again.’’ Glass have all the amenities of a high-end condominium. A special draw will be the full-floor layouts that will give residents panoramic views of the ocean, Miami Beach, the bay and downtown Miami and the flexibility to customize their floor plans, Martin said. He said his less-is-more approach aims to offer something different from other South Florida projects which, albeit luxurious, cram hundreds of units into a building. Terra Group applied that same philosophy at The Grove at Grand Bay in Coconut Grove, which could have had more than 400 units, but instead will have 96 — 57 in one tower, and 39 in the second. At Glass, Gonzalez said he is shooting for a building that “is meant to be light and ethereal and one that dematerializes as it rises.’’ He also wants to reflect both the urban vibe of the South of Fifth neighborhood and the beach. Raymond Jungles, a well-known South Florida landscape architect, will also work on the project. With Miami’s recent emergence as part of the global luxury real estate market for the super wealthy (it’s now mentioned in the same breath as London, Hong Kong, and Singapore), Martin said the project is resonating with New Yorkers and others in the Northeast, but that he also is seeing interest from Europe and South America.
