Just some examples below of characters at camp in GW not being okay with what Claude does (mainly to reiterate past points I’ve made about him/the route):

Mind you, the game forces all characters to cooperate with Claude in GW, even though a lot of them disagree (Marianne adamantly is against everything Claude is doing and expresses it regularly. Her excuse for not leaving or doing anything about is that she hopes the war ends quickly, but she still repeatedly expresses that she doesn’t believe what they’re doing is the right thing to do).

Lorenz repeatedly questions Claude’s decisions, as he should, but due to it being the GW route, all the characters have to follow what he does and just deal with it. There’s no “hey this is bullshit I’m out”, when realistically at this point a good handful of characters would’ve walked out.

This proves the writer’s are totally aware of what they’re writing and know the nuance to it! It’s just that... because Claude is the main character of this route, he’s swept up in the story and has to be adjusted to fit the story accordingly.

There’s no happy ending for the Kingdom and Alliance unless Sylvain (who is a major player in Faerghus politics) can agree to it, which is highly unlikely after he openly expresses his hatred for Claude/the Alliance (as he puts it, the “invaders”, which... were Claude/the Alliance).

Also, I have another post with the camp part of Hapi saying that it’s scummy of the Alliance/Federation that the only reason she and Constance are alive is because they surrendered. In other words, she finds the “surrender or die” thing to be scummy. Then we have Yuri, who notices the same issue:

This point proves that Claude is pretty cold hearted in this route. He not only forces Ashe to surrender (or die, as is implied by his dialogue when he says “Dimitri would be sad if you died” and thus urging him to surrender), but then he even has Ashe fight against his own people.

While this is a recruit mechanic issue and is a problem in all routes generally speaking, it’s not highlighted upon by other characters about other characters. That is to say, Petra for example in AG will express relief that they didn’t have to kill Dorothea, but she doesn’t mention anything about Dimitri forcing them to fight the Empire (which Petra decides to do entirely by her own will). Dorothea expresses some reluctance at first in her own camp dialogue, but it’s never mentioned that Dimitri is forcing anyone to fight against their will.

The fact that other characters are commenting on it means other characters are seeing and understanding what’s going on (which is more than a lot of players can say apparently, like the ones who blindly send hate to people who didn’t enjoy GW/SB lol). They recognize that everything Claude is doing is just shitty and shouldn’t be what they’re doing.

So... why do they keep fighting with him? Because... bad writing. That’s honestly it. Because they’re all forced, by the writing and route’s story, to keep fighting for Claude even though probably a good half of his camp doesn’t agree with his actions. Even though, if this were a better story even somewhat, and if Claude still did what he’s been doing here in this somewhat better story, the story would be made better by the disagreeing characters defecting to the Kingdom. Mind you, three background lords did try to defect to the Kingdom... and were promptly shut down from defecting.

If this were a good story, Claude wouldn’t have had his morals flipped on their head. If this were a decentish story, Claude would have lost a good chunk of his allies who defected after being fed up with his behavior and decisions. If this were a bad and lazily written story, it would look like it does.

ALSO I ran out of tags to explain my last point BUT

the irony of all this is that when he killed Shahid, he was trying not to cry and got drunk over it. This guy who had been trying to kill him and would’ve done so without batting an eye (and probably would’ve told everyone and bragged about it), this guy who has been presumably among his siblings trying to kill him his entire life, and this is who he feels guilty about killing. Then he goes marching to Faerghus, invades them and says he just wants to talk while forcing one of their royal knights to surrender or die.

Apparently Claude would rather feel sad about the brother of his that tried to murder him than the innocent people who never wronged him.

Edelgard is the same person at her core and she strives for the same goals #Claude has some personality alterations that make sense in that he didn't attend school for the whole year #so his friendships weren't formed the same way and he spent less time with Dimitri to get to know him #so when he says ''I still have no idea what's going on in Dimitri's head'' that's a 180 contrast from AM Claude #who Byleth can point out Claude knows/understands very well #so yeah his general uncertainty about people he didn't know as well makes sense #but changing his morality and his views on war and bloodshed and how far he's willing to go isn't the same #Claude would take any available means to resolve something peacefully. if this were happening with Houses Claude #he would have sent a letter to Dimitri asking to meet with him to talk first so they could figure things out #because WHAT DO YOU KNOW in the secret chapter when they talk it proves that's all he even needed to do to get some answers #it just makes Claude look dumb despite Houses pointing out that he's very intelligent and the opposite of a typical #person raised in Almyra because they're similar to Faerghus in that they value strength #Claude isn't super powerful and instead has a good head on his shoulders which makes him feel even more different and an outsider in Almyra #GW Claude is just swept along and molded to fit the story as needed and not allowed to be his own character properly #even though VW and SS were practically the same thing Claude was still Claude you know? #this just feels like they didn't know what to do with Claude bc they wanted to try something new with him #like since they didn't get to utilize a less casual/relaxed Claude in Houses they did it in Hopes #they didn't get to make him as cynical as they wanted to... and so they did it in Hopes. they just... went overboard and didn't do it right? #bc I can easily see Claude being more cynical and stuff /to the right people and to his enemies/ #which would mean in a direct way Thales and co and the Empire/Edelgard. not Faerghus just minding their business #As a Lorenz fan I ate like a god in this route. As a Claude fan... I lost about 180 years on my life from his 180!

WIBTAH for sending my (21NB) SIL (20F) stuff to help with her pregnancy when her mom said she doesn't want us to?

so for some context, SIL didn't tell us she was 2 months pregnant until last night. She'd been planning on moving across the country (we live in the USA so across country is 3000~ miles/4500~ km) to go live with her boyfriend (22M) for a while now. None of us wanted her to go regardless but now that we know she's pregnant we wish she were here even more so we could help with anything she needs. She left this morning for her flight across country with a guy our family barely knows - some of us only learned his name last night.

my MIL - her mom - says she was gonna send her a car before finding out about the pregnancy but since SIL said she's gonna go to school and work online cus she wants to stay home with the baby, the mom doesn't want to send her a car that the idiot who got her pregnant (and was the one who convinced her not to tell us about it) is gonna end up using instead of her.

so, i brought up sending her some stuff to show her that she has people here who will help her (even if she is across the country) and show she's not alone. MIL was worried it would convince her to stay there. My worry is that not giving her any help will push her to stay over there where she doesn't know anyone instead of staying with family or, at least, someone she knows better than her bf of a few months.

I know she doesn't like it here, and at first I supported her moving out before I found out it was across the country with a guy she met *This Year* (2023 when submitted - idk how long thisll take to post). I don't think she should have to stay in this house, I understand she has trauma here and I fully support her moving out but the thought of her alone and pregnant on the other side of the country where she has absolutely no one other than her bf (who doesnt seem to be taking this situation seriously At All) and his family - who none of us have ever met - is just terrifying.

I dont think what I want to send her is something that would end up being a present for the boyfriend instead of her like the car. I have a pregnancy pillow from a surgery I had last year and thought even if she ends up not wanting it, sending it to her would at least show her that she's not alone and we still love and care about her from all the way over here. It isn't much and I don't think it's anything that would convince her to stay over there so I don't see why it should be a problem.

For full transparency, I *do* hope sending her support might convince her to come back, even if she doesn't move back into the house, I hope she doesn't stay in a place with a guy who clearly isn't ready to help, people she doesn't know, new rules, new everything. It all just seems too stressful under regular circumstances, let alone during her first-ever pregnancy. That being said, her staying or going is her choice, all of us agreed that trying to force her to stay/come back would only stress her out more and would be bad for her and the baby.

for extra context- when i say we dont know the bf at all, i mean it. i met him yesterday, the rest of the family has met him 2, maybe 3 times. he made a speech last night at dinner that only made me worry more, "I may not be the best for her", "Yeah, I'm in school but I'm not studying anything right now" (wtf does that even mean????), apparently he wants to be a cop (which i dont like personally) but isnt doing anything to accomplish that? and when FIL asked if we could visit her, he completely waffled as if he had never thought of the fact that we would like to go see her?? and her child??? Everyone throughout dinner made it very clear to him that we Don't know him and we're entrusting the baby of the household, the Princess of the household, with him - all of this was before we even knew she was pregnant. He didn't even tell the dad about the pregnancy before they left, he made MIL do it.

tl;dr- SIL's bf convinced her not to tell her family she was pregnant until the night before she moves across the country to live with him. I want to send her stuff to help with her pregnancy & show her she's not alone & we're here to help with whatever she needs but MIL worries sending her things will convince her that she doesnt need to come back home, i worry that not sending her anything at all will make her not want to come back at all.

Your relationship with Maddy was somewhat Difficult.

You are Nate Jacobs best friend he was always there to protect you he was basically your knight and shining armor you guys met in eighth grade when you had a mental breakdown in school he would always see you shake your legs anxiously he was there for you, until you were thirteen you hit puberty boys would look at you with this predatory eyes especially grown men but Nate was there and protected you he would sometimes physically hurt them, and would get a detention for you as long as you were okay which made you develop feelings for him.

Until as they entered highschool, Nate noticed that Maddy was an exact replica of Y/n they both dress the same, they both have no body hair, and they both were the best parts of being a Women, Even though Nate was not a big fan of women, Y/n was different she was strong, caring, gentle, Nate would do anything in his power to protect them both.

When Nate started dating Maddy it broke Y/n's heart, she always saw how Nate would put flowers in her locker every single day, Y/n would cry right after she'd come home from school, she wouldn't want to ruin or sabotage her best friends relationship, right? What friend would she be if she did that.

It made Nate feel good to know that he was there to protect them. He knew the world was full of men who want to hurt y/n and Maddy. So, Y/n decided to find more info joining Rue and Lexi's little detective case. It just hurt's how Nate lied to you in front of your face about this whole thing. what if Nate actually assaulted Maddy? Y/n, Rue, and Lexi were piecing some of this together but there was still so much missing like why did Nate have dick pics in his phone and what made him snapped at the point where he decided to choke Maddy and what's making Maddy lie and frame Tyler for something he didn't even do.

Ya know those dreams where there is so much plot happening and you can barely keep up and when you wake up you can only remember like 1 thing?

Last night I dreamt that I was in an arranged marriage (idk who arranged it cause I'm an adult and don't speak to my parents) but I get married and like a month into the marriage, we're climbing something and he gets knocked out and like his gamer stats appeared above him and I found out he was 3'3, which is weird cause he was taller than me (he was like 5'8, I'm 5'2) and he was really mad about the fact that I knew for the rest of the dream. he was really nice tho and wasn't mad at me, he was just mad that I knew

BRO I LOVE SLEEPING SM BECAUSE THE WAY MY MIND MAKES DREAMS SPONTANEOUSLY- I COULD NEVER😭😭😭

I remember having this vivid, jarring dream where I was home alone, and some dude came up to my door and was like "I like you and I wanna get married to u. Let's go out?" And he takes me on a car ride and throughout the ride I roasted tf outta this guy cause he was OLD (I'm talking 60s) and he had white hair and a white beard but he was like handsome and fit and athletic build and tall, etc. And even though I kept insulting him and telling him all the reasons why we're incompatible, this dude just smiled softly and had goo goo eyes for me and then we returned to my home and as I got in, he said he was now even more sure that he wants to marry me, and I was like "even if I agreed, which I don't, my parents would never-" and then my uncles and parents come home and they're like yelling at this guy to fuck off and they're like pushing him out of the house but then this old dude gets REALLY MAD and starts fucking screaming and his eyes turn completely black and he's yelling "SHE'S MINE! SHES MINE! ILL MARRY HER ALONE! MINE!" and then idk why, but he suddenly sent a cannonball of fire inside the house and my mom's losing her marbles because wtf is this otherworldly creature????? Meanwhile, this old dudes family pulls up outside our house (and it's people of all ages, from babies, children to adults) and are trying to sweet talk to my family into giving my hand in marriage to this man, but obv my family is like no, and pushes the old dude out of the house. Meanwhile, my mom is crying in the corner and I'm just whining about there being so much noise that it's disturbing my studies.

Anyways, for some reason, I poke my head outside the door to see if these people are gone, but just then someone- a teen girl (maybe 17?) From his family was leaving when she looked back at me and looked me up and down and then had this smile on her face (it wasn't necessarily creepy, but it was... it just told me she wasn't human either) and she said "oh, you're nice. I can see why he likes you." And nodded her head in approval.

And then I wake up and obviously, every bizarre thing- I gotta tell my mom about it. And poor woman, omg she is HORRIFIED as I tell this dream with glee and she's like "I'd never let you marry someone so old and creepy and scary!😭😭😭" and I'm like okay. And then she's like "who do u think the old guy was? Do u know him?" And I'm like I've never seen him before, but he didn't feel like he was human. At first, I thought he was the devil/Shaytaan. But then I saw his family, and it clicked to me that these might be a clan of jinns/djinn (it's an Islamic thing okay? Just look it up yourself) and basically I've heard stories that these supernatural creatures often fall in love with humans and then are dead set upon marrying them and even isolate them/possess them so that they can't marry anyone else and make them so crazy and unhinged that their own family doesn't wanna be near them and now the human's only source of comfort is with the jinn.

So like.... yeah🥰

And my mom was like "SNOW WHY WOULD U THINK THAT! NEVER EVER TELL ME YOUR DREAMS AGAIN!" and I think it's cause a part of her thinks that dreams have subliminal messages/ability that these might come true (cause again, we've all heard of stories that jinns can actually come in your dreams to give you some messages or what not) and I'm just giggling away while she's freaked out.

I think the only other dream of mine that freaked her out like this bad was the one where I explained in gruesome details on how I was buried alive. Like I told her that when they laid me in the grave, I could feel the wet muddy ground against my back💀💀 and she told me to stop before I could say more.

Holy shit, how long has it been since we had one of these??

I've started the prequel fic for my CodyWan modern AU which takes place 10 years before It Only Knocks Twice.

I thought about writing a fic following them through the war but you guys? I just finished a 200K monster that's taken me a year and a good chunk of my sanity to write, I am simply NOT up for something that deep or involved. So hopefully this will serve.

I will admit, this is reigniting my love for this AU and I have some ideas percolating including a complete crack ship fic of Rex who is struggling to recover from the war, has been pressured into joining the Protectors by Jango as his second choice for heir since he always had an eye on Cody taking up the job of replacing him. Look Jango is kinda a dick n this fic cause well..he is a dick in canon sorry not sorry

And then Fenn Rau who's been holding down the fort while the Fett boys have been gallivanting off to fight in a war halfway around the world and is rightfully annoyed at the blatant nepotism going down.

I was kinda toying with the idea in my brain years ago but it got shelved but now I might actually write this fic at some point.

ANYWAY context for this fic. Takes place after Utapau, Grievous is dead, Dooku didn't die and sang like a fucking canary so Palpatine's entire house of cards has crumpled and both sides are kinda like wtf, I guess we'll try peace? As a nod to ATOTC, Obi-Wan nearly dies in an unfortunate blue-on-blue incident and is recovering at a nearby hospital when he receives the call that Qui-Gon had been murdered by Maul and this accelerates his plans to leave service.

Cue all the pining and regrets about things never said and actions never taken.

After years of war between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent States, the war was on the cusp of being over.

The death of General Grievous on the battlefield of Utapau had been the final nail in the coffin that broke the CIS’s back. Of course, the capture of Count Dooku and the damning accusations against Chancellor Palpatine had helped to bring the Republic as well.

Both sides were tired and weary of the war by that part. The realization the entire bloody conflict which had killed countless people being engineered by a set up of corrupt politicians who wanted yet more power had cut through both sides like a wildfire.

Widespread protests and demands for an immediate ceasefire had cropped up across the Republic and the CIS.

Cody and his troops were just as angry and outraged as the civilian population but they unfortunately didn’t have the luxury of throwing down their weapons in disgust out of protest.

If he was being honest with himself, he didn’t know how far that sense of duty would have gone if the generals demanded they head right back out onto the battlefield.

Knowing they had unwittingly propagated an unjust war that had led to the decimation of countless civilians and left some nations on the brink of ruination was a hard pill to swallow, and he’d heard the whispers of displeasure and bitterness from more than one veteran in his battalion.

As company Commander, he’d done his best to ignore and pretend he didn’t hear those grumbles of displeasure. In truth, he shared some of those sentiments and while a worrying amount of his more veteran soldiers were making statements about wanting to cash out and return home out of disgust for the war, he knew in his heart of hearts, that wasn’t for him.

No, he wanted to help to break the things that he had accidentally broken.

He enjoyed service and while he knew his father would have been delighted to have him return home after his ‘rebellious’ decision to join up with the Republic’s war rather than maintain Mandalore’s stubborn neutrality, he knew he was doing the best here.

His talents would be wasted back home in some cushy job with the Protectors.

Besides, there was another—more selfish—reason for wanting to staying in the GAR.

They’d claimed a beaten-up loveseat that overlooked the scrub brush and desert that led out to the distant mountains. The land was harsh, but it had a beauty that had been lacking in other desert climes he’d seen during the war, such as Geonosis.

Little Gods, but he hated that place with its endless dust storms and red sand, which had gotten everywhere. Or maybe he hated how much blood had blended in with the sand and how much death he’d seen during the First Battle of Geonosis.

That had been before he’d been assigned to Obi-Wan’s batallion and while he would never say a bad word against Mace Windu as a commanding officer, that particular battle had been a shitshow and far too many people had died.

And what was worse, a year later they’d found themselves back in that same gods forsaken country being shelled out of their minds by Seppie artillery.

Yet here they were in another kriffing desert but this time with the hopeful promise that the war might at long last be coming to a close. If Utapau hadn’t very nearly killed Obi-Wan, he might have actually enjoyed the austere landscape.

But it was hard when the man sitting next to him was still dressed in hospital-issued pajamas and a threadbare robe. At least he no longer had those awful tubes and IV’s sticking out of him. It had been an all too poignant reminder that after three years of hell, just as the end was in sight, he’d very nearly lost Obi-Wan Kenobi.

And to nearly lose him to a blue-on-blue friendly fire accident was all the worse. If he hadn’t been wearing his body armor, he would be dead now.

Cody wasn’t sure what he would have done with himself if that had happened.

After three years of bottling up his feelings, of promising himself that once the war was over and they were free of the constraints of the chain of command, he would finally tell Obi-Wan exactly how he felt about him.

Hopefully, the other man would feel the same way which…judging by the fact they sat there enjoying the sunset over the desert with their hands so close together their fingers were brushing, hidden as they were beneath the folds of the other man’s robe? Cody was optimistic the other man returned his feelings.

“How are the men holding up?”

“As good as can be expected. Lots of mixed feelings about everything.”

“It’s awful, I completely understand their feelings.” Obi-Wan had made little secret of the fact that he’d intended on resigning his commission once the war was over with. He wasn’t built for war, he claimed. But Cody thought differently, the man had been one of the best commanding officers he’d ever had.

He was a natural leader, one who was there with his men through thick and thin. He’d sweated and starved with them throughout the bloody years, had bled and at times cried at the senseless tragedy they’d seen.

Losing him would be a blow to the 212th but Cody kept those words firmly in check because he didn’t want to lay any sense of obligation or guilt on the man who had given so selflessly for them over the years.

“I can’t believe it myself. All of this death and heartache? Just because Palpatine wanted more power? Wanted to regain some banthashit glory about a lost Empire?” He couldn’t help the anger that threaded through his words.

“I understand, Cody.” Obi-Wan’s fingers shifted and he covered his hand with his and squeezed gently. The empathy in the redhead’s eyes was genuine and Cody felt something unnamable well up in his chest.

“I’m so ready for this war to be over with, sir.” He confessed softly, and it was a testament to how tired he was that he had even spoken that truth.

Obi-Wan’s expression shifted minutely, and that empathy shifted into a weary sort of understanding. “Me too, Cody.”

The words were spoken between them almost like a secret.

And in that quietude the resided between them, the familiar spark of longing could be felt on both sides. Obi-Wan’s fingers tightened around Cody’s almost imperceptibly as though he could sink as much meaning as he was allowed through that brief physical touch.

But then, the moment was shattered with the arrival of one of the hospital aides who stepped out of the doors and towards them.

Both struggled to pull themselves back together as he approached with a nervous look on his face.

“Commander Kenobi? There’s an urgent message for you.”

Concern flashed across Obi-Wan’s face and he carefully levered himself to his feet with a wince of pain.

“Of course, lead the way.” He said and shot one final regretful glance over at Cody.

Cody forced a smile for Obi-Wan’s benefit as the redhead walked away.

He had no idea that call would change their lives irrevocably.

Marinette says she’s busy and that he is just a friend from school and she didn’t want to see him after school, first of: Marinette’s an asshole. Second of: no man, Marinette and Adrien barely spend any time together after school, its rare a situation where the one of them call the other to do something, most of the time they are just there and they happen to meet. I’m not saying I want them to be together, Marinette is a selfish hypocrite and Adrien is not much better, I’m just asking for some better writing, that the basic of the basic of the basic of writing teen romance, making they just hanging out as friends, BUT NOT EVEN THAT, THE SHOW DON’T DO THE BASIC!

Marinette then blows up in Alya, Alya then tell her to calm down and touch some gras- I mean, get some air.

The scene then cuts to Adrien being harassed by fans again, Sabine and the guy I shall not say the name apologize for their daughter being an asshole and give him some chuquetes, chouquetes?

We then have a genuinely funny scene with Marinette and Chat and we have those two morons being cute, for some reason seeing two sided marichat Is surprisingly funny and not forced, I don’t know why but this wat of Chat, joker and carefree yet not knowing much about life, works a lot with Marinette being selfiish yet sweet and her way of being, makes some really good scenes. I think even the worst of shows can have some nice moments sometimes, I need to say, good job writers, you surprised me.

But the writers ruin everything making the two say stupid things while almost kissing so there’s also that-

The scene then cuts to Alya and Tikki talking bout Marichat or Ladynoir being a Canon.

Andre then hears ladybug and because he is a sociopath, he proceeds to try kill her too. What a good character!

Ladybug and chat talk about he not being in love with her anymore and she accepts his choice.

Also chat with heterochromia is amazing ngl.

Monarch then tells glaciator that they’re hiding behind a building, huh good foreshadowing.

Ladybug then activates her lucky charm which is a big umbrella, and by the power of Girls-good-boys-stupid glaciator loses all his braincells (which was zero) and fall for the most obvious trap in the world, hero saying he gives up, and we have a butt joke….

Marinette then cry because of love; she didn’t grow up a little since season 1.

Adrien proceeds to be sad about love and, I don't know if you know but I like chat noir but hate Adrien, so I really couldn’t care less about it, also he gets happy to seconds later, and that’s where the episode ends

This episode isn't very good, it's not the worst but it's not good either, Marinette still this anoying selfish thing, and Adrien still nothing but an one dimensional simp, the villain was boring as heck, Andre still the same kinda sycopath ice cream maniac as he always was but now with less brain cells.

and really what the purpose of this episode was; to make Marinette not be in love with chat noir anymore.

But it wasn't delivered properly, it's the same case scenario as the rooster miraculous, it can easily be exploit.

Marichat wouldn't work ok, but what about ladynoir?

They see each other every day, they work together well, based from past episodes Marinette don't respect much if someone has a crush on another person, then what's stoping her?

Fear of being akumatized? Chat rejected her because she was in civilian mode.

Fear of being dumped out? This wouldn't stop Marinette for loving chat noir, it would just stop her from telling him that.

It was because of the moment that chat and ladybug talked about their feelings for each other? Marinette always runned after Adrien even if he said she was just a friend.

So what is stoping her from being in love with chat noir?

I'm general, I think what saved this episode for me was cat noar and Maributt when they weren't simping each other, they have a good quemestry what can I do? Well I'll give this episode a 5.5/10 put Andre in jail

recently something ive realized about myself is that i am a HOPELESS romantic. i require something to pour my affections into. & if that isnt a person WELL its gonna be a fictional character. for me the adachi blorboism started right after i ended my first real “relationship”. i say “relationship” because it was less of that and more of me being groomed by a guy 5 years my senior. unfortunately, this guy was what got me into persona. he asked me to watch the p4 anime with him and that was it for me lmfao.

so wtf does that have to do with adachi. well i didnt think it had ANYTHING to do with him until recently. being in therapy has allowed me to really dissect the way my environment has manifested in my behaviors and atp im confident in saying that getting groomed is pretty much the reason i love adachi so much. groomer man was the literal definition of a nice guy, like i made a nice guys finish last joke to him once & his actual response was “but it’s true though…” and he was SO bummed when adachi was revealed to be the mastermind. he was all “ooouuhhhh it sucks because he was such a good character before that”

so i got out of that relationship, had clarity over the fact that he had been manipulating me the entire time, got my hands on my own copy of p4 (i had still only seen the anime & played arena atp) and when i got to adachi’s monologue i was like. THIS GUY IS AWESOME!!!! HOW IS HE A WORSE CHARACTER FOR THIS!!!! im realizing now that travis (groomer) probably felt very attacked by adachi’s motives. & not only that but that i felt very comforted by how blatantly evil he is. that sounds really weird so let me explain.

i saw (& honestly still see) adachi as someone who’s a product of his environment. he felt trapped & suffocated by inaba, felt mistreated by his superiors at work, and with being given access the tv world found something that he felt he could control, which was fun for him in a world of boredom, of which he felt like the victim. i related a lot to that feeling of being trapped somewhere you can’t escape from (both because of my relationship & at the time living with my parents) and really appreciated his fucked outlook on life. not like. the misogyny part. just the whole “life only favors the lucky ones” sentiment. i also saw him as a much more honest & self-aware version of travis. he knew he was doing bad things to people who didn’t deserve it, and his justifications were just “i was bored”. unlike my ex who probably still sees himself as a victim

idk! i guess the takeaway here is that there’s still so much more to me than i know. im learning new things about myself every day. im very glad to finally be on this journey of self-discovery. ive always been a really introspective person but i dont think i ever asked myself WHY? why am i like this. like actually. so im doing that now. & the answers are actually pretty fucked up! ive always played down my trauma because its what my parents and a lot of my peers did. my “best friend” as a kid (she was honestly just a bully) didn’t believe me when i told her that my parents fought. like it was so much worse than i allowed myself to believe. i played down getting groomed because I wasn’t like r*ped or anything (he touched me with my permission but no insertion happened idk if that counts as r*pe) but whenever i tell people that my parents were not only okay with it but allowed him to come visit me from Canada and STAY AT MY HOUSE….they are always shocked. because thats so fucked up! like… what!

alright ive really gone off the rails with this but in conclusion: adachi is a piece of shit and thats why i love him. he’s my disgusting babygirl. my awful little mongrel anime husbando. & you dont get him like i do

Y/n knew better than no one, that fall in love wasn't as easy as fairy tells told. It has it's ups and downs, with problems like everyone, that normally would be for the couple, as a couple, to solve in good terms. Yet that wasn't always the case.

And Sapnap knew it better than other people too. Used to have two fiancés, one who ended up forgetting who he was to him, and the other who died in his own country. He was devastated, but for the people left that he cared about, he continued without giving up.

And that's how, now 6 years after the whole "Dream SMP" was created, Y/n and Sapnap started as a couple, living in a cozy cabin in the forest, near a land of mushrooms where George lived in, trying to forget the man that broke his heart years ago.

At first, Sapnap was shy in your guys relationship. Being used to two different personalities, that had nothing to do with the person that now rules his heart. Because if something had both Karl and Quackity in common in the past, was that they were loud. And you... Were nothing of that. Yeah, you would have fun in social events, but you were more of the comfort of your own house.

Sapnap adored it nonetheless. He loved that, this was different, a challenge if you must, that he was willing to have.

What was what he loved the most of dating you? Well, he normally said he couldn't decide, but it was definitely when you let him rest on your chest while you played with his black hair. It made him sleep quickly than a sleeping pill.

Or how you would lend towards him to give him a kiss on the tip of his nose. He wouldn't even try to fight the stupid lovey-dovey smile it brings to him.

He felt an immense amount of warmth around you. He loved that you made him feel loved. And he would return that to you each time he could. Man lived attached to your hip, practically.

Things that you loved of him? The way his arms would hug you tightly, as if he were afraid of losing you. It made you feel safe.

And his surprise-kisses too! It was pretty cute to see him appear out of nowhere to give you a short kiss on your lips and continue his journey. Didn't matter what you were doing, it was most likely he would come out of nowhere just to kiss you.

Sleep together was also a thing you both loved. Cuddling eachother all night; Sapnap not wanting to let you go and you just snuggling more into the warmth that his body made.

Your relationship was healthy, you both knew this. If you ever had an argument, you both would find ways to resolve it in peaceful ways. Both afraid of losing eachother.

Although George says your relationship is cringe, he is actually happy that you both have eachother. He's just a little bit envy he couldn't get any of that before.

Okay, Scream 4: ☑️ watched

Honestly, from what I gather this one is pretty polarising??

I’ll be honest, I loved it. This was the first time I’ve properly appreciated the killer reveal I think? I knew who the killer was in Scream 1, saw it coming in Scream 2, and was very shocked by the killer in Scream 3 but primarily because there was so much plot/backstory that as the audience we weren’t aware of, so there wasn’t the same kind of foreshadowing or hints. I really like the hints and stuff and I spent a lot of Scream 4 going back and forth between various people I thought it was, but the reveal still really took me by surprise and I enjoyed that so much.

I think my least favourite part was the beginning, purely bc I think they overdid the watching a movie bit by at least one too many, if not two

Basically overall I had a great time with this film, didn’t fully guess the killer but only bc I was suspicious of everyone other than Sid in that house at the end
