Rewatching Chicago Fire again and these are my thoughts over the years lol

1. I love Shay, I miss Shay and as much as I liked Mills i wish he had died instead.

2. Shay and Severides friendship was everything.

3. I didnt realize the other times Ive watched but i dont really like Gabby. She doesnt listen and she always thinks shes right.

4. I was determined not to like Brett because i loved Shay so much but she very quickly became my favorite character.

5. I hate how they keep changing Bretts ambo and romantic partners. Just leave my girl alone damn.

6. Never like Sylvie n Cruz.

7. Brettonio owns my soul

8. I loved Jimmy n Sylvie as ambo partners. I was pissed how they did his storyline. Borelli is my boy. Little Gilbert makes a hot fire fighter lol

9. Never really liked Chilli even before she went off the rails. I just found her really annoying

10. Hermann is my man lol

11. The actor who plays Casey was the whole reason i started watching the show cauze i loved him on House

12.i like Stella but i dont like her n severide as a couple.

13. Bodens alright.

14. Otis my poor boy i miss you

15. Connie it will always be your fire house

16. I like Foster but she was kinda lowkey stuck up a lil bit to me.

17. Cant say anything bout the new seasons cause i couldnt stomach Brett n Casey. Maybe i can make it through this time

19. I completely forgot they got Mollys so early, idk why i thought it was late season 2.

20. No hate to anyone who loves them but Brett n Casey are just weird. Like dude Sylvie he is your best friends ex husband and you dated his brother in law and Casey my man she is your ex wifes best friend. Like no you just dont go there.

A few days ago you said you would do a crossover for series finales of Chicago Med, Fire, and PD to bring actors back. Which characters would you bring for each show with an unlimited budget?

Ok, no budget and no scheduling conflicts. Not including deceased characters:

Med- I didn't see past season 2 (I think) so Will, Connor, and Natalie come to mind. I'm missing like seven seasons of characters though so someone who knows Med better than I do should tackle this one!

Fire- Can I resurrect Leslie Shay? Please. But for real, Gabby would be first priority for me. I'd have Matt Casey, obviously. I'd also bring back Peter Mills and Emily Foster. Maybe Jimmy Borelli. Sylvie (though I'm sorry, I'm in Matt and Gabby's corner forever)

PD- Jay and Hailey, immediately (and assuming this is in the future once they're both gone). Antonio, Vanessa, Mouse. Probably Roman. Erin is a tough one because of extenuating circumstances outside the show so I'm probably thinking about this too much, but Erin. Or at least mention an update if nothing else. Maybe Olive and Daniel just for fun.

Chapter 9- You Love You More

Elle’s POV

“Why is he back here” I said. “He complained to the Brass about Chief Boden” Kelly said. “You’ve got to be kidding me” I said. “It’s ridiculous I agree” Matt said. “He’s so selfish” I said. “You liked him remember” Kelly said.

“I guess I was blinded” I said. “Apparently” Matt said. “Casey” I said he laughed. “He likes to pick on you umm I need you to check your gear” Kelly said. “Alright” I said walking over to my gear.

I looked through my gear. Jimmy then walked over. Of course he wanted something from me. What else was new.

“So they still have you here” Jimmy said. “You see unlike you I worked my ass off to get in my position” I said. “Huh you know I did too my daddy wasn’t some big cop” Jimmy said. “My father didn’t hand me this position like everyone here I earned it god your an ass” I said standing up.

“You liked it remember” Jimmy said. “Borelli you were just a phase in my life” I said. “Is that why your hanging out with that detective Halstead right his brother is a doctor” Jimmy said. “My love life doesn’t concern you” I said setting my boots by the truck.

“Guys problem” Matt said. “No problem here Jimmy just forgot his place isn’t that right Candidate” I said. “Right” Jimmy said walking away. “Elena you have a visitor” Connie said. “I’m coming” I said. I walked into the firehouse. Jay was there with lunch and a single rose.

“Awee well thank you” I said. “I was around and I knew you were telling me about that little diner” Jay said. “Your the best” I said kissing him. “I was hoping we could eat lunch together” Jay said.

SQUAD 3. TRUCK 81. AMBULANCE 61: CAR ACCIDENT MULTIPLE VEHICLES

“That’s my que we can do dinner” I said. “I’ll hold you to that Elle” Jay said. “I’ll be there” I said. “Be safe” he said kissing me. “Always” I said.

We arrived at the scene a car had hit a truck carrying propane tanks. Which was already on fire. Jimmy was trying to get out of line already.

“Voight grab the jaws” Kelly said. “Got it” I said grabbing them from the truck. “We gotta get these guys” I heard Jimmy say. I ran back over to Kelly. “Borelli no” Matt said. “Come on seriously they need help” Jimmy said.

He ran to the truck it was about to explode. I ran over and grabbed him as it exploded but he had gotten burnt badly. I put out the fire on his jacket.

“Jimmy” I said looking at him. His face was burnt. “Medic” I yelled with tears in my eyes. “I’m coming” Brett said as Gabby followed. “Jimmy stay with us ok” I said crying. “Elena your burned on your neck” Gabby said. “Just worry about him ok” I said yelling at her.

The took him to the hospital.

“Elena go with them ok get checked out we got this” Kelly said. “Right” I said getting in the truck. They worked on him. I held his hand the whole way. It was stupid of me to still care about someone who hurt me. But I did I cared a lot.

We arrived at the hospital they took him into ICU. Will took care of the burn on my neck.

“Is Jimmy gonna be ok” I said as he cleaned the area were my burn is. “I can’t say right now Elena but your lucky you didn’t get badly burned” Will said. “You didn’t call Jay did you” I said. He put the bandage on. “I did Elena” Will said. “Am I all set” I said.

“Yes your fine just make sure you keep it wrapped and clean” Will said. I walked over to everyone else. I sat by Matt. “You ok” Matt said. “I think I’ll be fine I just” I said. “Elle thank god your ok” Jay said I ran over and hugged him.

“I’m here it’s ok” Jay said hugging me tightly. “I .. I know I didn’t think but” I said crying. “Shhh come here” Jay said we sat in the waiting room. I rested my head on his shoulder as he had his arm around me. He made me feel so safe with him.

We waited for any news about Jimmy. I hated waiting here. The doctor finally came out. I got up and walked over.

“Good news is he’s alive and ok bad news is his right eye was completely damaged and we couldn’t, do anything” the doctor said. “Anything else” I said. “Your Elena the one who saved him right” he said. “Yeah” I said.

“He kept trying to say Elle he wants to see you” he said. “Can I” I asked. “Go ahead” he said. I walked into the room. He was in a full body cast and on oxygen so he could breathe. I sat next to the bed in the chair.

I pulled it closer to be next to him.

“I’m sorry.. I feel like such a complete jerk” I said tearing up. “Jimmy I should’ve helped you save your brother.. this is on me” I said. He moved his hand over and I held it. He squeezed it tightly. “But I’m so glad your ok now I don’t know what I would’ve done” I said.

He looked at me. A tear rolled out of his eye.

“Maybe in another life we could’ve been friends or together even” I said sighing. “But I guess what I’m trying to say is sorry” I said. He looked at me. “Elle his family is here” Will said. “I’ll let you see them” I said getting up.

I walked out and Will pulled me aside.

“You saved his life if you hadn’t grabbed him he’d be dead right now Elle don’t beat yourself up” Will said. “I just feel like it’s my fault” I said. “He’s a hothead you know that” Will said. “I know” I said. “And take care of those burns you’ll be good to work tomorrow” Will said.

“You got it” I said. “Well I’m gonna go talk to his sister in law about everything” Will said. “Alright thanks will” I said. I walked back out. Everyone looked at me. “So” Brett said. “He’s awake” I said.

(A/N:y’all won’t like me for this next part ik it wasn’t in the show)

Lights then went off near Jimmy’s room. My heart snuck.

“Dr.Halstead me need you” Jimmy’s sister yelled. “What’s happening” I said. “Elena I’m gonna need you to wait right here” Nat said. “Please tell me what’s going on” I said. “No I can’t do that” she said. “Why can’t you I don’t understand” I said tearing up. “Elena let’s take a walk” Ethan said.

“Why can’t I see him tell me” I said yelling. “Jay can you escort her outside please” Ethan said. “Come on” Jay said. “Before you do can I borrow you” Ethan said. Kim watched me while Ethan talked to Jay. “Come with me” Jay said.

“Jay what’s going on” I said. “Let’s get some air” Jay said. He walked me outside by the ambulance entrance. “What can’t you tell me inside” I said. “Elena” Jay said. “Jay what I don’t understand” I said. “Elle.. I’m sorry” Jay said cupping my cheek.

“What do you mean … Will said he was hopeful” I said tearing up. “… he didn’t make it” Jay said. “No” I said pacing back and forth. “There’s nothing they could’ve done the burns affected his lungs” Jay said. “It’s all my fault” I said. “No it’s not” Jay said.

“But… I” I said crying Jay hugged me tightly. “I’m here” he said rubbing my back. “I can’t” I said. “I’m sorry” he said kissing my forehead. “I was just talking to him” I said through tears. “Baby I’m so sorry” Jay said.

“Elena” Brett said walking over. “Brett” I said hugging her. “It’s not your fault ok” Brett said hugging me. “But it feels like it is” I said. “I know” Brett said. “Anything I can do” Kelly asked walking over to us.

“I just need a couple days” I said. “That’s fine I can get coverage” Kelly said. “Thanks” I said. “Boden wants to set up something at the house” Matt said. “I’d help” I said. “Jay can I talk to you” Dad said. “Yeah sure” Jay said.

Jays POV

I walked over to talk with Hank. Elle was talking with Matt and Kelly. So I knew she’d be fine for now. He pulled me aside so she couldn’t see us.

“What’s going on” I asked. “I need you to keep a close eye on her” Hank said. “Like on shift I can call her” I said. “No Jay I need you to stay with her while she’s off” Hank said. “She wouldn’t do anything” I said.

“After her mother died she got into alcohol and made a lot of bad choices Jay” Hank said. “Like what” I asked. “The only reason I let her be a firefighter is because she promised to stay away from alcohol” Hank said.

“You want me to keep an eye on her” I asked. “I do Jay I don’t wanna lose her too and I don’t want her, throwing her career away” Hank said.

Elle’s POV

Jay walked back over to me. Everyone kinda left to go home. Jay and I walked to his car.

“Want me to take you back to the fire department to get your stuff” Jay said. I just looked at the ground sadly. “Elle” Jay said. “It’s.. all my fault” I said crying. He hugged me. “No it’s not I promise you” Jay said kissing my head. “Let’s go home ok” Jay said.

The ride back to his apartment was quite. Just me looking out the window. Wondering what I could’ve done to prevent this. We walked up to the apartment and went in.

“I think I’m just gonna go shower” I said. “Alright just be careful of the burn you know” Jay said. “I know” I said. “I’ll be out here if you need me” Jay said with a soft smile.

I showered and just sat on the floor of the shower crying. I heard the door open. I knew it was Jay.

“Elle I don’t wanna be weird or anything” Jay said outside the shower curtain. “I’m fine” I said standing up the peak out of the shower curtain. “You aren’t alone you know” Jay said. I turned off the shower and grabbed the towel.

“I know I’m not” I said. “I just worry about you” Jay said cupping my cheek. “I’ll be fine can I get dressed or” I said. “Yeah” Jay said leaving. I got dressed and went out into the living room. Jay was cooking something in the kitchen.

I walked over.

“Are you making dinner Halstead” I said. “Yes for once I am” Jay said. I hugged him from behind. “Thank you” I said. He turned around still holding me. “I’ll always look after you Elena” Jay said I kissed him. “I appreciate that” I said he kissed my cheek.

“Alright let’s eat something” Jay said. “It better be good or your fired” I said. “Oh trust me it is” Jay said with a smile.

In my head two of the drivers are pay drivers, but one would have been in the mix for a seat anyway. Some of the pairings were designed to be similar to how actual ones have been - Ethan and Mills is semi 2020 McLaren inspired with the driver who’s been around a few teams and the rookie who came up kind of dynamic, Borelli and Ritter are very much yukierre’s friendship inspired. There’s some fun bits around each pair and how they interact with Kim, Sarah, Mouse, Crockett, and Adam, but you’ll need to wait for the fic to see the details!

Raza Jaffrey as Dr. Neal Hudson, an ER attending physician. A British-Indian former surgeon, his approach is quieter and more people-oriented, than his mentor Dr. Rorish. He connected with Christa during her first year of residency. In "Hail Mary", Hudson becomes a surgical attending, and is once again assigned to the ER (season 1).[7][8]

Bonnie Somerville as Dr. Christa Lorenson, a mature first-year resident. She was married with a son who died of brain cancer. Her experience and her divorce inspired her to attend medical school (season 1).[7]

Melanie Chandra as Dr. Malaya Pineda, a first-year resident (seasons 1–2). She went to medical school and did her internship at Angels Memorial, and is more familiar with the ER. She is a lesbian, who was once involved with a resident when she was a medical student.

William Allen Young as Dr. Rollie Guthrie, an ER attending physician with a very nurturing style; he takes Angus under his wing in his first days in the ER. Guthrie's wife committed suicide, a death that strained his relationship with his son, a surgeon. During season 2, Guthrie is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and undergoes corrective neurological surgery to delay the onset of symptoms. Guthrie had a daughter who died from carbon monoxide poisoning while Guthrie tried to save his son from a similar death.

Harry Ford as Dr. Angus Leighton, a first-year resident. His father is on the hospital board. He feels overshadowed by that and by the achievements of his older brother, a former resident, but slowly grows in confidence. In his second year he is encouraged to transfer and become a surgical resident.

Benjamin Hollingsworth as Dr. Mario Savetti, a first-year resident. He grew up poor and sees emergency medicine as his way out. He worked as a bartender before medical school.

Luis Guzmán as Jesse Salander, known as "Mama". A senior nurse who manages the residents, Jesse is tough but caring and supportive of the students. He and Dr. Rorish have a long-term, close friendship.

Boris Kodjoe as Dr. Will Campbell, Chief of Surgery. In season 2 he is assigned as the new Chief of the combined Surgery and Emergency medicine department in order to save costs, causing strife between him and Rorish. Campbell has a disabled daughter (season 2–3; recurring in season 1).

Jillian Murray as Dr. Heather Pinkney, a surgical resident who becomes involved with Mario.(season 2; recurring in season 1). He quickly ends it when he hears about her side relationship with Dr. Campbell. She gets in further trouble when it's revealed she's providing Angus with Adderall. When confronted by Campbell, she threatens to turn their past relationship into a sexual harassment case.

Noah Gray-Cabey as Elliot Dixon, a first-year resident in the ER (season 2-3).

Emily Tyra as Noa Kean, an ER resident and former dancer. She begins a relationship with Dr. Mario Savetti (season 3; recurring season 2)

Emily Alyn Lind as Ariel Braeden (season 3; guest seasons 1–2)

Shiri Appleby as Dr. Carla Niven, a former resident at Angels Memorial and Malaya's ex-girlfriend. She is diagnosed with leukemia while pregnant, and refuses treatment not wanting to harm the baby.

Christina Vidal as Dr. Gina Perello, the replacement Director of the Emergency Department at Angels Memorial, who takes over when Dr. Taylor is put on leave.

Gabrielle Carteris as Amy Wolowitz, R.N., a nurse in the Emergency Department.

Meagan Good as Dr. Grace Adams, returns to the ER after volunteering in Haiti. She is Dr. Neal Hudson's ex-girlfriend.

La nostra generazione era tollerante.

E non lo sapeva...

Vi siete inventati il "fluid gender" e, di conseguenza, l’omofobia.

Io vengo dalla generazione che ascoltava e amava David Bowie e Lou Reed, e non si è mai posta il problema di che preferenze sessuali avessero. Fregava niente, anzi, contenti loro e, in qualche caso, beati loro. Elton John, Freddy Mercury, George Michael.

Siamo anche la generazione che amava i Led Zeppelin, i Deep Purple, Neil Young, gli Eagles...senza porsi il problema dei testi che oggi sarebbero giudicati sessisti.

Quando arrivò Boy George non ci chiedemmo se gli piacesse il maschio, la femmina o tutti e due. Ci godemmo semplicemente la sua musica. E quando Jimmy Somerville ci raccontò la sua storia di ragazzo di una piccola città, ci commuovemmo e cantammo insieme a lui. E non c’erano leggi a costringerci a essere solidali o quantomeno partecipi.

Non c’erano minacciose commissioni o attenti guardiani a censurarci se ci usciva una battuta.

C’era Alyson Moyet, allora decisamente oversize, ma bellissima e bravissima, e nessuno pensava valesse meno di una Claudia Schiffer. Anzi.

Vorrei capire che è successo nel frattempo, perché tutti questi censori hanno l’unico effetto di creare quello che censurano.

Secondo me eravamo tanto più avanti senza imposizioni, perché le imposizioni, si sa, spesso generano l’effetto contrario.

it took me awhile to realize that the jimmy borelli was played by the same actor in tvd who played jeremy. it’s even more funny knowing that him and taylor kinney (severide) were in tvd together and shared scenes.

oh my gosh, did they really?! i only watched up till whenever it was elena switched stefan out for damon bc i am a petty ass stelena shipper and i truly just hate damon salvatore as a whole. never liked his character, and i don't think he's hot.

but lmaoooo yeah, i paused and was staring at my screen for a little while like, "where do i recognize that face from?" only to do a quick google search and finally realize that's what i know him from. 😂😂

What do you think is going to happen to Gallo? Especially with another young dude coming in?

So I’m gonna address the second part first. Them bringing in a new young guy, not at all surprised by that. Even if we on here, and other social media sites, feel like the writing is on the wall for these show, that doesn’t make it so. They’re all still top rated drama’s and big money makers for the network. While I doubt it’s a reality, it’s no doubt a dream of TPTB to have One Chicago, at least one of the shows, become like L&O: SVU. 25(?) season and no end in sight. That means they need longevity. So if they were smart, going forward, far less focus on Herrmann, Mouch and Boden, they’re all way too close to retirement age (yes even Boden, white shirts have MRA too). Build up Stella as the new “Boden” follow her through the ranks, similar to what they did with Olivia from L&O and were doing with Casey. And start to place more focus on the younger cast, Ritter, Violet and the new dude, in the hope of retaining at least one of them long term.

As to what will happen with Gallo. I have two options in mind, none are particularly good. 1) Death. They’re gonna kill him off. 2) Life altering injury. Maybe not as bad as what happened to Jimmy Borelli, but bad enough there’s no chance of him working for the department again, other than maybe as a civilian employee.

Outside dark horse: he leaves for advancement. We know he was interested in Squad. Maybe he’s got his cert and made it but there’s no room of him on Squad 3 2nd(?) shift. Also look at his cohorts and look at him. Ritter is very well regarded with Herrmann on Engine, he almost seems to be second in command. Violet was a PIC, will probably be again once Brett leaves. And where’s he? Sure he’s trusted and respected but still kind of low man on the totem pole on Truck. Maybe similar to Mackey he get the promised opportunity for advancement at a different house and takes it. But this to me is a little fast given he’s exiting in the premiere.

ALARGA LOCOMOTIVE RACHA GANADORA

El Paso Locomotive FC (West-2, 5-3-1, 16 puntos) continuó su impresionante racha invicta el viernes por la noche con una entretenida victoria por 2-3 en Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC

Los “Locos” cobraron venganaa de una derrota sufrida a principios de temporada ante los Switchbacks,

Locomotive ahora salta al segundo lugar en la clasificación de la Conferencia Oeste y permanece invicto en Weidner Field.

Locomotive hizo una gran exhibición en la primera mitad para tomar el control temprano del partido.

El delantero Luis “Lucho” Solignac abrió el marcador al aprovechar un pase del mediocampista Petar Petrovic, quien logró sacudir la defensa con una hermosa demostración de habilidad.

Petrovic anotaría un gol propio tres minutos después para duplicar la ventaja de Locomotive y asegurar un marcador de 2-0 antes del medio tiempo.

Colorado Springs no estuvo exento de oportunidades, pero la línea de fondo de Locomotive pudo evitar muchas de las oportunidades que tuvieron los Switchbacks, incluida una magnífica parada con la punta del dedo a los siete minutos de la segunda mitad del portero Benny Díaz.
