No one had expected your death and everyone was hit hard, you had been protecting the twins, Katherine had come to Mystic Falls to visit your grave cry. She hadn’t expected to see anyone but ended up running into Damon who was placing flowers on your grave, they spoke for a while and finally agreed that she was allowed to see the twins considering they needed all the family that they could get. For the first couple of months they didn’t hear anything from Klaus either, he chose to mourn your death on his own only reappearing when the twins or specifically when Asher was in danger as the first born, however much like any other danger it passed.
The twins themselves had always struggled with your death. They were still young when you died, only three, Jay had taken a quieter approach to her grieving receding into herself, she didn’t speak to anyone apart from Asher, who took a more aggressive and angry approach to grieving. For a long time they were on their own only because they chose to be, Jay was the first to let Damon back in Asher following suit, then Stefan and finally Kathrine and Klaus. Jeremy was there but after a few years he found someone else, someone that he wanted to settle down with.
It took about 10 years before the twins had friends of their own age, with the supernatural school finally in place, they attended with Hope, Lizzie and Jo. They seemed to be getting on well unfortunately on the 13th anniversary of your passing Jeremy decided that he was going to tell them both something.
“I needed to talk to both of you.” Jeremy said as he looked at them, they were both sitting on the beds in the room that they shared as they waited for him to tell them what he needed to. “What?” Asher asked, he was far less forgiving of Jeremy, feeling abandoned by his father, all of his grandparents coming to the rescue. “It’s about Jessica.” Jeremy said. “Honestly I don’t want to talk about your new girlfriend.” Asher said as he leant back against the headboard of the bed. “Fiancée.” He corrected. “Excuse me?” Asher asked. “Fiancée.” Jeremy repeated. “So what do you expect me to call her mum and play happy family every holiday?” Asher asked. “Not gonna happen.” “Do you want to hear why we’re getting married?” Jeremy asked. “Because you love her or something?” Asher asked, putting air quotes around the word ‘love’. “I do love her but there’s another reason.” Jeremy answered. “She's pregnant.” “Oh so you’ll marry her but you wouldn’t marry mum?” Asher asked. “Asher, that was different.” Jeremy argued, Asher sat up, his feet falling to the floor as he stood. “Honestly I could care less that you are having a baby or getting married, I don’t want anything to do with it so if you don’t mind will you kindly leave me the fuck alone.” Asher said before disappearing from the room. “You couldn’t have picked a better day for this?” Jay asked. “You know what this day means to him and yet you would tell him that you are moving on and you expect him to do the same.” “That’s not-” “No it’s not what you meant but that’s what he heard.” Jay sighed before standing up and walking out of the room to find her brother.
Asher found himself at your grave as he always did on the anniversary of your death, he’s cry, tell you everything that he had achieve that year and even brought Hope Lizzie and Jo to see you one year, they had all asked to come pretending that they were there for Jay but they had come for him to, he knew that but he couldn’t bring himself to thank them. “Do you know what he said to me today?” Asher asked, the silence that answered him was no unfamiliar “he said that he’s getting married and she’s pregnant, I think he was hoping that we would be happy for him but I was just angry because somehow after everything he still manage to come out on top, like he did every other time, you looked after us when we were younger and he was able to do whatever he wanted, he only ever looked after us when he wanted to and he’s the one that gets to move on while rest of us are still hurting.” Asher wanted to be able to see a picture of you without feeling angry or like he wanted to cry. “You know with all of the friends that I’ve made I shouldn’t feel this way, I don’t feel as lonely as I was before but you're still not here and I can’t bring you back, no one can.” “Your right no one can bring her back so we have to live for her.” Jay said as she sat in front of him. “Mum wanted us to live so the best thing that we can do for her past bringing her back is living the way that she wanted and showing her everything that we can become.” “What if we don’t do what she wanted?” He asked. “I think we have, you know, making friends that would do anything for us and we would do anything for, you know I think that if we never did anything for the rest of our lives she’d be proud as long as we were happy.” Jay explained as her eyes moved over to the girls that you’d say were your closest friends each of them taking a seat so that you were making a semi circle around the grave. “We’ll stick together no matter what.” Hope said “you can rely on us.” “We promise.” Josie said. “Always.” Lizzie added. “Thanks guys.” Asher said softly and while he knew that it was still going to be a long time before he was okay, he had the perfect people around him to make sure that it happened in and out of the school.

Summary: When a serious magical threat comes to Mystic Falls and puts Josie and Lizzie at risk, Caroline and Ric send Klaus' ex down to New Orleans to seek safe harbor for the girls with him. Or, what if Y/N went to New Orleans instead of Caroline, and Klaus was free to see them.

I chewed my lip as I stared up at the building before me. If this were any other situation, I would've turned on my heel and run by now. But there were two little girls, one on either side of me, who needed me to be strong. This was their best hope of being safe, which meant all of my stuff needed to take a back seat.
I took a deep breath, trying not to let the girls sense just how nervous I was, then started heading for the door to the bar. It was the middle of the day, so hopefully no one would mind me bringing two kids in with me.
Caroline and Ric had trusted me with Josie and Lizzie, and I refused to let them down. Some new supernatural none of us knew existed had come to town and, worse, had started going after the girls. So, I'd sat down with their parents, and we'd figured out a plan to keep them safe: take them to the bigger, badder supernatural who I used to know.
My eyes scanned the bar for the familiar face of Klaus Mikaelson, and after a moment, I found him. He was leaning against the counter talking to the bartender, and I was surprised he couldn't hear my heart beating out of my chest from here. I hadn't seen him in years, and I'd also rejected him the last time I saw him. But he was the best chance the girls had, so I was just going to have to hope he didn't hate me now.
I cleared my throat, shook my nerves off as well as I could, herded the girls into a booth where I could keep an eye on them, then turned to face the bar. I found Klaus already looking at me, his arms crossed and a curious look on his face as he leaned against the counter. A wave of emotions hit me at once, but I shoved back against the feeling, squaring my shoulders and putting one foot in front of the other until I stood in front of Klaus.
"Hello, love," he said, and my heart damn near stopped in my chest. I took a deep breath. "It's good to see you again."
"It's... it's good to see you again, too."
And it was. Most of my friends had been relieved when Klaus finally left town, and they'd freaked out the minute they found out he'd come back to see me. And at the time, I'd convinced myself they were right, and that it was better he was gone. But standing before him now, that slight smirk on his face, I realized I had really, really missed him.
"So what brings you to New Orleans?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He looked past me to where the girls were playing a clapping game in the booth. "I take it it has something to do with them."
I sighed. "Yeah. Yeah, it does."
"And who's the father?"
Now it was my turn to cross my arms and raise an eyebrow.
"They're actually not mine. But I'd say you don't have a lot of room to judge, considering the reason you moved to New Orleans in the first place."
"Who said I was judging? I was just trying to gauge how jealous I might need to be."
I huffed a laugh, trying and failing to hide my smile by glancing at the ground. Nik grinned at me, and for just a flash of a moment, it was like nothing had changed between us since the last time I'd seen him.
But then I heard Josie and Lizzie behind me, and I remember why I'd come here in the first place. I sighed and met Nik's eyes again.
"I need your help."
His eyebrows immediately drew together, and he straightened up from the bar, taking a half step towards me. The intensity of his worried stare made my heart melt.
"What's wrong, love?"
"There's a new supernatural in town. Or a few new ones, I guess. We're struggling a little bit to deal with them, and they've made Josie and Lizzie their targets. Caroline and Ric are their parents for all intents and purposes, and we sat down and decided our best chance at keeping the girls safe is if I left with them, alone, and came to you."
"And whose idea was that?"
"...Mine. It... actually took a lot of convincing for Ric and Caroline to let me bring them to you."
A hint of a smile flickered across Nic's face as he huffed a barely audible laugh. His beautiful blue eyes met mine with the intensity I'd seen a thousand times for both good and bad moments, and it made my heart race.
"You will always be welcome here, with me. I'll keep the three of you safe."
Relief washed over me. I closed my eyes, taking a minute, and when I opened them again I found Nik still watching me intently. I thought he might lean in for a hug or a kiss or something else, but instead, he just gave me a small smile and nodded in the direction of the girls.
"Mind introducing me?"
The girls absolutely loved Nik from the first moment they met him, and he was nothing but sweet and patient and kind. He made a few absolutely ridiculous jokes that had them falling out of their chairs laughing, and had my heart melting all over again. We left the bar together, the four of us strolling through the streets of New Orleans as Nik led us to his home. He glanced over at me a few times with the roguish smile I'd come to love, and despite the fact that I'd come here on the run to protect the girls, I couldn't help enjoying this moment with him. In different circumstances, it might've just felt right.
"We're almost home, but I just had a thought," said Nik, his arm swinging back and forth with Lizzie's as they marched down the street together. Lizzie and Josie held hands, and I did the same with Josie, making us a little chain. I turned to smile at Nik over the girls' heads.
"And what's that?" I asked. Nik smiled at me, then turned his attention to the girls.
"My favorite ice cream place in the whole of the city is very close to here. Does anyone else feel like we ought to make a pitstop?"
"YES!" the girls screamed in unison. I laughed as Nik stopped abruptly, turning on his heel and then pulling us in the other direction.
"Alright, come on then!"
The girls cheered as they marched after him, and my heart soared as I followed along behind the three of them. I'd gotten to see Nik like this every so often in Mystic Falls, but a lot of our interactions were colored by whatever drama he and his family had going on with my friends and I. Being with him, like this, and seeing him being so amazing with the girls was seriously doing something to me.
"This place really does have the best ice cream," Nik assured me as we stepped inside and joined the line, the girls bouncing excitedly in front of us as we stood shoulder to shoulder. "Hope loves it."
"Hope... how is she? How's... how's Hayley?"
Nik smirked. "They're both good. We've had our rough patches, but Hayley and I have found our rhythm as coparents despite not being together."
I released a breath I hadn't realized I'd been holding, and Nik laughed.
"Now look who's trying to gauge their jealousy."
I rolled my eyes, but couldn't hold back a grin all the same.
"Whatever. But... you're happy? Being a dad, and being here, and... and everything?"
The corner of Nik's mouth quirked up, but the smile didn't reach his eyes.
"Like anything, it's had its ups and downs. But I wouldn't trade Hope for anything in the world."
I nodded, and the two of us fell into comfortable silence as we worked our way through the line. The girls were ecstatic to try their cones, and Nik recommended his favorite flavor to me, which lived up to the hype he'd promised. The four of us wandered slowly the rest of the way to our destination, which turned out to be an absolutely massive compound in the middle of the French Quarter.
Nik pushed open the door and led us inside just as the sun began to set outside. I came to a stop in the beautiful open space just inside the front doors, staring around at it in awe.
"C'mon, love," Nik said gently, resting a hand on my back and guiding me in the direction of the stairs. "Let's get the girls settled in for the night."
I just nodded, putting my focus back on the girls as we followed Nik through the massive compound. He pushed open one of the many doors along the second floor, letting us into a bedroom with two beds. I even spotted a few kids books on the shelves to one side of the room.
I slid my eyes to Nik with a raised eyebrow, but he just shrugged.
"For Hope, and any friends she might decide to bring over when the time comes. No reason to not be prepared, especially since we have the space for it." The corner of my mouth tugged up into a smile, that warm feeling spreading in my chest again. "I'll bring a few of her pajamas in, they should fit these two alright."
"Thanks."
"Of course, love."
Between the two of us, Nik and I managed to get the girls settled down and in bed in under an hour. They'd had a long, tiring day, after all, and if I weren't practically jittering with nerves after the afternoon I'd spent with Nik I'm sure I would've been right behind them.
Instead, I found myself following him after we closed the door to the girls' room, going who knows where in this massive house in his new life since he'd left Mystic Falls. After a few moments, I couldn't really take the silence anymore, so I spoke up.
"Where are the rest of the Mikaelsons?" I asked, my voice thankfully even. "I'd expected to see at least one of the siblings by now."
Nik turned to give me a little smirk over his shoulder, and I hated that he could probably hear my heart race.
"They're busy with other things for the night. And Hope is with Hayley having a mother-daughter weekend away from everything. It's just us, tonight."
My heart sped up even more, although that shouldn't have been possible. After a moment, Nik led me into the kitchen and headed straight for the refrigerator. I took a seat at one of the high stools at the counter, watching him as he moved.
"I assume you still like hot chocolate more than most other drinks?" asked Nik without turning around. I smiled.
"Absolutely. I know it's been a little while, but come on Nik, I'm not a completely different person."
He paused to give me a smile over his shoulder, then continued in his hot chocolate preparations. I scratched at something on the counter while he worked, trying to get up the courage to talk about all the million things hanging in the air before us. Finally, I cleared my throat and forced myself to look up, watching Nik's back as I spoke.
"Thank you for this, by the way. For taking us in, even after... Well, even after I told to leave me and Mystic Falls."
Nik sighed, bringing our two mugs of hot chocolate over and setting them down on the counter before walking around to stand in front of me. We were barely an inch apart, but he didn't make a move to close the distance anymore. I'd set a boundary the last time I'd seen him, and he clearly had no intention of crossing it.
"I will always be here for you if you need me, love. If you seek me out for refuge, or to change your mind and take me up on my offer to show you the world, or even because I make the best hot chocolate in the entire world and you just can't live without it... I'll be waiting."
I stared up at Nik, a slight twinkle in his eye, as I fought to keep tears out of my own. He'd truly caused so many problems in Mystic Falls. My friends' dislike-to-hate of him made sense. But he'd always been sweet and funny, patient and kind and understanding, with me. If I was totally honest with myself, I'd been starting to fall in love with him before I'd decided to side with my friends and push him away.
"Don't cry, love. It's alright," he said, his eyes scanning my face. I hiccupped, the tears finally starting to fall, a combination of all the different emotions and stressors of my past few days coming together and overwhelming me at once. I'd held it together for the girls, but now they were in bed and taken care of, so I could safely fall apart.
I leaned forward, falling into Nik's chest, and he wrapped his arms tightly around me the moment I did.
"It's alright. You're safe with me."
That brought on a whole new wave of tears, not just for the stress of the day, but for everything I'd lost with Nik, too. He just held me tighter, rubbing soothing circles on my back as I let it all out, then slowly started to calm down.
I pulled back slightly once I managed to get ahold of myself. One of Nik's hands stayed on my arm, and he brought his other hand up to gently cup my face, wiping away a few of the tears with his thumb.
"What can I do, love? Tell me how I can help you and I'll do it."
I choked back another sob, this one turning into a half-laugh.
"You've already done enough, Nik. More than enough. It's just... it's been such a long day. I feel like I've been barely holding back a complete stress breakdown for like a week, and I always had the girls with me so I had to keep it together..."
"Well then, why don't we get you settled into a room so you can get some sleep, hm? We can always talk more in the morning."
Nik started to move to help me off the stool and up to bed, but I stopped him, hands resting on his biceps. He raised an eyebrow at me but didn't move away.
"No, Nik. I don't want to talk tomorrow, I need to say this. I... I love you."
Any hint of humor or lightness dropped off Nik's face, replaced by completely serious shock. My heart was racing out of my chest, and I knew he could hear it, but I pushed on anyway.
"I think I was falling in love with you before, and I didn't want to admit it to myself. But being with you here, now... it feels right. There are a bunch of powerful murderers chasing me, trying to hurt two kids whose parents have trusted me, exclusively, with their safety, and I'm in a strange city far from anywhere I've ever called home. But for some reason I just feel... happy. Happy to see you again, happy to spend time with you, about a thousand times calmer than I was without you. You feel like home, Nik, and I love you. I just... that just feels like something you should know."
Nik's eyes had been scanning and searching my face intently the entire time I'd been talking, the slightest hint of wetness gathering in his own eyes. A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth once I'd finished speaking, and he brought his hand back up to cup my face, his thumb brushing lightly over my cheek.
"I don't think I've made it any secret how I feel about you, love," he said, voice soft and tender. "But in case you need to hear it again, I love you. Always and forever."
A few tears managed to sneak out and down my cheeks again, but this time I had a smile on my face. Nik's expression mirrored my own.
"Once... once all of this is over, do you think... well, maybe I could come back here. To New Orleans, once the girls are safe back home. That is, if... if your offer to follow you to New Orleans still stands from the first time you extended it?"
Nik beamed back at me. "I can honestly tell you that absolutely nothing would make me happier."
My smile grew to the point of pain as I stared up at Nik, a light in his eyes that I'd missed much more than I'd realized. I leaned forward just slightly, Nik mirroring my move as I glanced at his lips. One corner of his mouth rose higher in the troublemaking smirk that always made my heart race before he closed the rest of the distance between us, his lips meeting mine, soft at first and then with the same urgency pulsing in my heart.
I'd kissed him before, but it had always been tempered by concern for my friends, and about what they'd think. But this time, as fireworks exploded in my chest and thousands of butterflies took off in my stomach, I couldn't bring myself to care.
I was safe and happy in the arms of the man I loved, kissing him senseless. I'd missed out on a lot of times like this, but from now on, I didn't intend to let anything keep me from spending every second I could just like this, friends and insane supernatural threats be damned. Always and forever.

I don’t know how to get the formatting to be pretty and an actual ordered list like EvilPenguinRika’s without dropping into the HTML editor, and I don’t have the patience for that tonight 😂
Random thoughts upon viewing the results:
This represents 15 months of published writing, all the way back to December 2021 😳
It’s mostly one-shots because nothing longer is in a publishable state yet (including some longer one-shots).
There’s a lot of cold/winter/Christmas…and then it’s May…and then it’s fall 😳
I seem to like describing the scene around Hope…
I’m also pretty shy in the whole “tag others” department, but I’ll do a few folks I’ve at least interacted with before, with no hard feelings if you choose not to participate: @badartndadjokes, @firelordirohh, @imsuperposh-xo, @sabrinasfadingmoon
(Oh, but you know what would be really fun? First lines of your 10 recent WIPs…what do you mean you don’t have 10 WIPs 😂)

Pretty Eyes (Josie Saltzman Smut)
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
REQUESTED: Can you please make a smut fic with josie from legacies and reader? Reader is shy and it's the first time she likes a girl. Josie tries to help her relax by turning her on and pleasing her. Lots of dirty talk fingering eat out but she goes slow. Reader is shy but josie finds it cute. Thank you !
~
“Sooo, you never decided on where to go for our next date?” You looked up and Josie Saltzman was sat right next to you.
“I know you wanted us to take turns, but I don’t really know anywhere good enough.” You admitted sheepishly to the girl you were currently taking out. Nevertheless, Josie smiled at you and grabbed your hands.
“That’s alright, we can do a movie night for your turn. But I expect some research on the next date night spot!” She squeezed your hands and made a pointed look. You laughed softly, more to yourself.
“Y-Yeah. I promise, Josie.” You took the warning with appreciation for her patience. She nodded and kissed your cheek before getting up and leaving. You turned back to your school books with a problem brewing inside of you.
You wanted to be a good girlfriend, even though you weren’t labeling things right now, and that was at your request. You had never been with a girl before and it was the first time a girl wanted to pursue you. Especially as much as Josie did. She seemed far more comfortable with the ideas of touching you and kissing you. You were just terrified you wouldn’t be good enough for her because of your inexperience.
“You alright, Y/N?” You looked up again to find Hope. Hope seemed like a great person, but Josie still had mixed feelings. Mr. Saltzman clearly doted on Hope, and you could tell how it made Lizzie and Josie feel. But he never did anything more for Hope than he would do for the twins.
“Uh, yeah. Shit! She never told me when movie night was.” Your thoughts of Josie interrupted you. Hope’s eyes widened slightly.
“Trouble in paradise?” You shook your head.
“No, no. Josie’s great, it’s more of me and my insecurities, to be honest.” You sighed and shut your books. Hope sat down and leant on her elbow.
“Y/N, I can tell you that Josie really likes you just the way you are. If there’s anything I can say about her, it’s that she’s very accommodating to those that put in the effort. That’s at least how our relationship is getting better.” She looked off into the distance towards the end. You nodded and shrugged.
“It’s more of my own head. I know Josie cares about me and I care so much about her. I guess I should get ahold of her to set up movie night.” You pulled out your phone.
“She loves peach rings, by the way.” Hope added before leaving you alone once more.
~
You nearly collapsed as you opened the door to your room and let your grocery bags fall to the floor.
“Never doing that again.” You grumbled, picking up the bags one by one and putting them on your side table. This is what happens when you procrastinate shopping for movie night. To be fair, you procrastinated a few of your assignments until last minute, so they got in the way of you going to the store…
You made sure you had everything as you put the ice cream and sodas in your mini fridge. The candy, chips, and popcorn packages were laid out in an organized form on your table. You felt like you were missing something…but then a knock sounded on your door.
“Hey! I brought a few different movies, not sure what we were in the mood for. I’ve got Friday the 13th, a horror choice. Friday and Friday After Next, and I got them both because they’re binge worthy comedies. Marley and Me, don’t know why I brought this one because I usually bawl my eyes out. Annnd,” Josie dug into the bottom of her bag to fish out the last movie. “Romeo and Juliet! Personally, I think me and you should star in the remake.” Her smile was bright and made you instantly smile back.
“Well, that sounds like the perfect pick. Personally.” You teased at the end, feeling slightly at ease, because you were terrified you wouldn’t have anything to watch. You opened the door wide and gestured for her to come inside. She entered and went straight for your TV.
“Yes! Peach rings are my favorite.” She noticed the candy laid out. You set a mental reminder to thank Hope later.
“I’ll be sure to remember that. See if they have a peach ring factory to tour or something.” You joked, making Josie scoff.
“They would get my money, I’ll say that.” She grabbed a package and the remote. “Let’s get comfy!” She gestured to the bed while looking at you. You nodded and kicked off your shoes. Finding a snack and grabbing you both a drink, you then plopped onto the bed next to her.
The movie was carrying on, with each of you adding commentary. Either in confusion of the old English usage, in excitement, or criticizing the movie itself.
“I don’t know if I’ve ever told you that you have really pretty eyes, Y/N.” Your eyes widened in surprise of the sudden compliment. You turned to Josie and smiled.
“Uh, I try not to damage the merchandise.” This caused her to erupt in laughter. She shook her head at you and readjusted her cuddling position.
“You know you can accept a compliment right?” Your eyes widened further.
“Oh my gosh, I’m sorry! I mean, thank you.” You said with guilt. Josie brought her face closer to yours, looking into your eyes.
“What am I going to do with you?” Her lips connected with yours, causing your eyes to close. The kiss was soft and gentle. You felt one of her hands rise to your face as she broke the kiss. This wasn’t the first kiss you shared with Josie, but there weren’t a whole lot of other things you’ve done besides share that same sweet kiss.
“I hope, um, I hope that you have a good time when you’re with me, Jos.” You spoke softly, but with sincerity. She sighed and you immediately panicked.
“Of course I have a great time with you, Y/N! Getting to know you and spend time like this has been one of the best parts of my life. Like, top three…and you’re number two.” She teased.
“And what’s number one?”
“Being here at this school. It also led me to you.” She pressed her lips to yours once again. Your hand went to hold her by her waist. You felt her body adjust and begin to straddle you. This caused you to tense up. “Hey, it’s okay. I know you get shy sometimes, Y/N. But there’s nothing to be scared of, not with me.” Her lips were a whisper away from yours and you snatched them right back. You held her waist gently as she pulled back and took off her shirt. She leaned back down to kiss along your neck.
“Jos.” You whispered out to her, gripping her waist a tad tighter. Her hands pushed up on your top and though you were nervous you allowed her to remove it. Only nervous because you didn’t want your lack of experience to disappoint Josie.
“You’re so beautiful, Y/N.” She praised you and fisted your breasts in her hands. Your eyes widened slightly, the feeling being foreign. “Give into it, nothing bad will happen.” She encouraged you as she moved down to your bottoms. She moved back from straddling you and instead knelt between your bare spread legs.
“Please.” You said so softly, you were surprised that Josie heard you. She smirked.
“Eager for adventure I see. And I’m here to please.” Her bottom remained up in the air, the short sleep shorts being swallowed up by her thighs. Her face facing your panty covered core. “You like this?” She questioned as she dragged her fingers over your mound.
“Yes.” You moaned, biting your lip to muffle it. Josie ran her hands up and down your thighs.
“Mmm, this pretty pussy…all for me.” Her dirty talk threw you. Her tongue shot out and dragged up against your barely covered sweet spot.
“Take em off.” You huffed, impatient. Josie was quick to follow along with the request. Your panties were discarded and replaced by Josie’s wet tongue. “Oh my god!” You cried out as the pleasure became immense.
“You’re gonna cum for me tonight, baby. Fall apart on my tongue, forget that shyness.” Her hands gripped your thigh and waist, diving back into your throbbing heat. You whimpered and grabbed her hair, careful not to pull too hard.
“Right there! R-Right there…” Your breath caught and your eyes rolled back. You felt your first orgasm rock your entire being. Josie dipped a finger inside of you, making you let out another gasp.
“You wanna try?” She asked, looking up at you before sucking the very same digit that had been inside of you. You bit your lip nervously.
“I don’t wanna mess it up.” She nodded and sat up on her knees.
“Then you can just touch me.” She grinned and pushed her shorts aside to showcase her bare lower lips. You nodded and sat up. You dragged your fingers down her stomach and pressed two fingers inside of her shorts.
“Jesus.” Your fingers slipped right inside of her, soakingly. You pressed your lips against hers and began pushing your fingers up to speed.
“Y/N, your fingers are so big.” She whined pornographically against your lips. Her hips began moving in accordance.
“Seems like what you want from here.” You whispered back.
“Naughty girl…touch yourself too, baby.” She encouraged. Her hand grabbed your free one and soaked your fingers in her saliva. You didn’t hesitate in beginning to rub your clit quickly. The hype you created for yourself affected the speed of the hand in Josie’s pants. She began whimpering more, speeding up her hips in accordance to your heightened speed, and the sweat on her forehead gave it all away.
“I love you.” You moaned and felt as Josie’s pussy tightened and clenched as she came. You followed right behind.
“I love you too, Y/N.” Josie sighed out as your bodies leant against each other.

Your Beautiful
Requested by @theshyprincess
MG X Female Reader
Prompt: #36,17,29: “You are so beautiful to me” “Your safe with me, I promise” “Your soulmate, my one and only. How could I ever leave you”
Word count: 825
Authors note: I know in the original request it said to make this smut. I didn't feel like writing it like that, and I feel like it turned out to be a better ending without the smut.
---------------------------------------------
“MG, I don’t understand why you keep doing this. You know Lizzie Saltzman doesn't like you the way you like her. She only sees you as a friend nothing more and nothing less” You remarked as MG and yourself walked the halls of the Salvatore boarding house to your next class.
“That's just because you don’t get it Y/N, love is love and I believe that she well loves me the way that I love her. However long it takes.” He told you turning to face you with that cheeky smile he has.
“Well, Milton Greasley maybe if you actually opened your eyes, you would realize that there are other girls out there that love you who's not Lizzie Saltzman.” You huffed clenching your jaw walking into your class leaving MG confused.
“ Dammmmmmn bro you really are off your game. Y/N has been whipped for you sense you first showed up here.” Kaleb chimes in tilting his head to the side as he looked at MG. He sighed getting up off the wall he was leaning on approaching MG.
“Oh, shut up Kaleb..I-I how was I supposed to know my best friend had big feelings for me.” MG sighed putting a hand on his forehead as he walks into class
“Maybe because she was always there for you, she baked food for you, listened to your whack music you like. She never liked comic books intel you got her into them. I'm not trying to dog on you brother, but you never payed more attention to her like she doses, or maybe did now, to you.” Kaleb says looking at MG “Think about that during class” He added before walking into 109 Magic History.
Kaleb's words had gotten MG thinking. Of all the time he was in need of a helping hand Y/N was there. You went above and beyond to help him out. The time when he had killed Landon you where one of the first people to find him. You told him to not let his mistakes define who he is now. That let his actions after his mistake make the difference.
-------------- (After class) -------------
“Y/N!! Wait please” MG says chasing after y/n as you ignored him. Classes had finished for you early, all you wanted was to get to your room away from everyone, especially MG.
“No, we don’t MG, I get it okay you like Lizzie, I like you it's over with. I will move on I just need some space to myself so I can” You lied, but how cared you were so close to your bedroom.
“It's not over with okay, I didn’t know you liked me intel now. Everything is different for me Y/N, but come on. You are my best friend and I know it took me forever to realize this but you are so beautiful to me Y/N” He voiced reaching out to grab your arm spinning to face him. “ You have always been, it just took me a second to realize.”
“Goodnight MG” You mumbled looking at him before turning away into your bedroom locking the door behind you.
Lizzy turns the corner in the hall spotting MG “Hey MG! I need your help! Hope and I, well more me, but that’s not the point. We are-” Lizzy starts all perky like she normally is
“Not right now Liz... I just... I can't be around you right now....” He mumbled putting his head down walking past lizzie.
Running a hand through your hair you noticed that there was a small note on the floor. Sighing you open it. Its note from him.
‘Meet me by the late tonight after dinner, I will be waiting’
---------- (Heading to the lake) -------------
Approaching the deck on the lake you swallowed hard. It's been a few hours sense you have seen or talked to MG. You didn’t know exactly what to say to him anymore. You felt like you have spilled your heart out to him and got nothing in return.
“You came?” He sounds surprised to see you’
“Of course, I did, you’re my best friend I always come.” You whisper standing next to MG watching the moon.
“Look Y/n, I know your mad at me but I get it now. You’re my soulmate! You’ve always been there for me, you’re my best friend. You understand me better than my own family understands me. You’re my one and only, I've realized that now, and I know your mad still... but how could I ever leave you now that I understand. I've always loved you too” He says facing you now. Your faces so close to each other's. Looking into his eyes you smile softly putting your hands on his cheeks as you kiss him for the first time.

Unlikely Pair
Josie Saltzman X Fem!Reader (no pronouns actually mentioned but Josie canonically dates females but I guess she did date Landon for a time so 🤷)
Word Count: 813
Request: Anon
Request: Being shy and quite but you take a chance & ask out josie which she says yes. One shot legacies. Reader is also a Witch. Thank you.
Tumblr media
You had always been a quiet person, even after finding out about your affinity with magic. You were gentle, easily adaptable and inclined to stay in the background, you spent time away from everyone else and when you were in a group you were often a listener only adding to a conversation when asked. This caused people to forget that you were there a lot of the time.
You spent a lot of time in the more quiet places in the school, which is what led you to meeting Josie in the first place, she was more confident then you though still soft spoken and kind, it didn’t take long for you both to get comfortable with your friendship. Josie always found you in a room and always remembered to ask you if you wanted to do something with her before inviting someone else, she even came up with excuses for the both of you when she knew that you didn’t want to do something with some of the other students.
You were sitting in the main room with your book resting on your knees, you were supposed to be reading but it had been open for about 30 minutes and you had read the same sentence about 3 times, the rest of the time you had been watching Josie as she practiced across the room with her sister. “So are you going to ask her out or what?” Hope asked, you jumped as you turned to her, you don’t even know when she had settled next to you. “What are you talking about?” You asked. “The way that you look at her, you’ve been watching her since I got here, how long have you been on that page?” She asked. “That has nothing to do with Josie, I’ve just read this book before.” You explained. “I’ve seen you reread books about 3 times before you’ve gotten bored of them.” She argued and you narrowed your eyes, in all honesty you had no idea that she had noticed you at all, with everything that happened with her you assumed you were someone that would just slip under her radar. Apparently not. “She just broke up with Penelope, she doesn’t want a relationship.” You shrugged. “Is that what she said, or what you told yourself?” Hope asked. “Asking her out could ruin everything.” You answered quietly as you glanced over to make sure that the sisters were still practicing, but they seemed to be in deep conversation about something as well, Josie glancing over at you before looking back at her sister. “What if it didn’t?” Hope asked. “Chances don’t match what I stand to lose.” You answered as you stood wiping non-existent dust from your legs before walking out of the room, back to yours where you’d be left alone surely.
A few hours later and with nothing else to do you had finished the book that had been sitting on your lap before, there was a knock at your door, you looked at it for a second before calling out “come in!” “Hey.” Josie smiled as she walked into the room “are you okay, I saw you leave after you talked to Hope, she didn’t say anything that upset you did she?” “No, nothing that wasn’t true.” You answered. “What does that mean?” Josie asked as she walked over, sitting on the edge of the bed waiting for you to answer. “…Well, you have to promise that nothing will change.” You said as you fiddled with the sleeves of your jumper. “What if it’s a good change?” Josie asked. “You… You already know what this is about don’t you?” You asked. “I can’t know for sure unless you say it.” Josie answered as she waited for you to speak, you looked at her for a second before taking a deep breath. “We were talking about me asking you out.” You finally said, it took her a second to understand what you had said but there was no mistaking the smile that stretched across your face. “And what did you decide?” She asked. “D-decide?” You asked. “Are you going to ask me out or not?” She asked, turning to you properly. “Are you going to say yes?” You asked. “Ask me and find out.” She prompted, you took in another shuddering breath before asking. “Will you go on a date with me?” You asked. “Yes.” Josie answered with a smile splitting her face “I would love that.” “Thank god, I thought that was going to go very differently.” You sighed, eyes closing in relief as your whole body relaxed. “Why’s that?” She asked. “Well, I’m not really the type of person that you’ve gone for before.” You answered. “That didn’t work.” She reminded you “it’s good that you are different, maybe what we both need is to be part of an unlikely pair.”
Requests and general question!

I don't know man, give me something angsty with Hope and Josie?
A/N: I don’t know how this is going to hold up, my angst isn’t the greatest so hopefully you like it!
Read all my Hosie Oneshots
Josie’s hands were cold, so much so that she couldn’t exactly unlatch the buttons of her coat without frustration. She could feel the smooth plastic under her fingertips, and suddenly the black scarf around her neck seemed too constricting, the fabric wrapping close to her jugular. Something so simple that was supposed to protect her made her feel trapped instead.
She could feel the emotion building behind the brick wall she had lain behind within her mind. A dam that was filling up slowly with water as black as night- the lump in her throat thickening as she struggled to steady her breath. No, she told herself sternly Lizzie is the one who gets to feel everything. She’s the one who’s allowed to break. But you have to stay strong.
Josie Saltzman had remained strong for her sister, for her school, for her father who had lost too much to even comprehend. But never for herself, she realized, standing in the school’s chapel under the blood-red stained glass. It left a watery reflecting against the dusty pews and the large golden cross that hovered over them with it’s looming shadow. Josie hadn’t even made it to the front row before she started to feel the hot air push against every inch of her.
It was empty. Across the courtyard and past the replaced statue of the gargoyle that still had those dusty demon eyes. The snow had made him look less threatening, dwarfing him into stone and nothing more. Her fingers tingled at the memory as she let out a frustrated grunt, once again trapped by her coat. It shouldn’t’ be this hard, nothing should be this hard. It was a coat- and she had only wanted to come here to think. For the silence. No one had enough faith to worship here anymore.
“can I help you with that?”
Josie gulped down stale air and whipped around in the carpeted aisle. She had her numb fingers raised, ready to shoot off a mumbled spell consisting of ancient languages. She frowned, she had been followed, and it brought her anger to boil. Her boots probably left tracks in the freshly fallen snow. It was her own fault, she decided.
“There’s no magic to siphon here,” Hope said, letting the intricately carved doors fall behind her. “Unless you want to take some from me.”
The Saltzman twin scoffed and dropped her hand completely. Hope wasn’t a danger, if anything, she had annoying perseverance about her that made Josie want to scream sometimes. But she never did. Instead, she just watched as the tribrid’s boots left half-moon snow prints against the floor.
She was close, within touching distance before she finally stopped and glanced around at the way the building stretched. How the bibles were left untouched and a thin layer of dust collected against everything. They both stood in the crimson light leaking from the full moon ushering through the stained glass. It shaded Hope’s face, demonized her features.
“I’ve never been in here.” She admitted, moving her golden stare back to Josie’s. “I have to admit, my family has never been much for faith. But the churches in New Orleans are nothing to cry home about. This one is a close second.”
She was rambling, and Josie could recognize that. She could recognize how close so was, and the questioning look of approval that Hope offered as she lilted her chin slightly to the side. Josie nodded and Hope laced her fingers against the collar of her peacoat before moving to the first button.
“Alaric never told me you were religious.”
“I’m not, I just needed a place to think.” Josie finally spoke, voice hoarse “I don’t think there’s much to be said about God when we’re capable of what we are.”
The first button came undone and Josie felt an immense pressure lift from her chest. Her fingers still numb and her lungs filling with the dull orange scent that Hope carried. Always mixed with blood, always mixed with the earth. This time it was comforting though.
“Any solace in what you’re thinking?”
“No, not much, I’m afraid.”
She swallowed thickly as the second button came undone, and then the third. Each lifted a weight from Josie’s chest until the coat was shed completely and the scarf soon followed. She draped them over the nearest pew and plopped down, ignoring the dust and the immittance of a kneel.
Hope carefully lowered herself into the wooden seat next to Josie. The two of them stared up at the blank cross. At the way the window warped and how quiet the church was against the howling wind and falling snow past the doors.
“People die too easily around here. And I think if there was a God, a higher power, that could prevent it, then it would have.” She stared, feeling Hope’s stare against the side of her face. It made her skin prickle. “My mother created this school to protect the outside from what we’re capable of. But who is going to protect us from each other?”
Hope swallowed thickly to fill the silence that the statement had created and the pit in her stomach she knew wouldn’t dissipate as quickly as the knot in her throat. Josie was right. Hopes mind flashing to leaning against the large doors of Alaric’s office. Trying not to listen as he explained to parents that entrusted them that the estate, that the school, wasn’t safe anymore.
“You can’t take all of that on, Josie.” Hope finally mustered the courage to say, her knee was hot against the Saltzman girl who resigned to holding her breath to keep out that intoxicating rusty scent. “None of this is your fault, and you- hey, look at me.”
It wasn’t a question; it was a statement and Hope grasped Josie’s chin and turned her tear-stained eyes towards hers. They looked blood-red in the reflection of the window, and she searched for something other than tenderness.
“It’s true, we can’t be there to save everyone, but the people we have helped wouldn’t see it that way. As far as I’m concerned, you’re the closest thing to safety people have in this place and you can’t burden yourself with the fear, with the… with the pain of not being able to help everyone.”
“If we don’t help them, who will?”
Hope had a slight twinge of a smile against her lips. One of those effortlessly charming ones that made Josie cross her ankles and look away at the sheer cockiness that it possessed. Most of the time she had that look when she knew they had won. This time it was more of an effort of comfort. “Don’t know, Jo. Maybe God.”

revenge ⸝⸝ oneshot
pairings: hope mikaelson x vampire!reader
warnings: angst, betrayal (the reader pretends to be someone they're not to manipulate hope), death (mentioned).
summary: centuries ago, you made the mistake of helping katerina petrova. to punish you, klaus murdered your entire family. you want revenge, and what better way to get it then to manipulate his only child? if only you didn't end up getting to know the real her, or even worse falling in love. // set in season five of the originals, klaus is still alive and roman doesn't exist.
word count: 800+

Becoming a student at the Salvatore school is surprisingly easy. A few lies here and there, a well thought out sob story that the headmaster eats up, and you're in. Absolutely no compulsion needed.
Honestly you are horrified how little time the school spends checking out your backstory, despite the fact that it works in your favor.
For a school meant to keep their students safe they sure as hell don't seem to be doing their job that well. You're surprised the Klaus Mikaelson would have ever sent his only daughter there.
Getting close to Hope Mikaelson turns out to be nearly impossible, not that you expected it to be easy. While the rest of the students are quick to accept you as one of them, the vampires happy to have you, even the witches and the wolves warming up to your presence, Hope stays away.
You soon learn that's normal behavior for the tribrid, staying away from the other students. You hate her just a bit more for that, your mind happy to make it's own judgement. Because of course the high and mighty Mikaelson stays away from everyone, full of herself just like her father had once been.
Time passes quickly and you make little to no progress in befriending the girl. But surprisingly you aren't that mad about it, while the 'bunny' blood does take some time to get used to, you find yourself enjoying being part of the school. Even if you know it's only a means to an end and not something you should allow yourself to get attached to.
It's Josie Saltzman of all people, the headmaster's daughter, that ends up being the key to befriending Hope. She is one of the few people at the school that Hope doesn't go out of her way to avoid. Obviously being friends with Josie would take you one step closer to Hope.
In hindsight you should have realised that sooner, but better later then never. You don't let your thoughts linger on why using Josie's good natured friendship didn't come to your mind weeks before.
It's a little shocking how easy things go after you realize that. A few kind words to Josie and a few days later the four of you – Josie, Hope, Josie's sister Lizzie and you are hanging out together. The twins turn out to be far more fun to spend time with then you thought, in another life you may have even been actual friends.
Hope takes some time to warm up to you, but you have all of the time in the world. And it's not like there is someone waiting for you in the outside world. After all, Hope's father made sure of that centuries ago when he slaughtered your entire family.
Months pass, you have a routine now, one you can admit to yourself you will miss when everything is over and you leave. Hope is still distant but you're confident that you could be considered friends now. She still doesn't mention her family, not even a word on anything you could use against them, but you learn that you don't hate spending time near her as much as you did before.
The universe seems to have something against you, so of course everything goes horribly wrong the moment you dare to think you might be close to getting what you wanted.
An accident happens, a group of humans attacks the school and Hope ends up killing one of them. Triggering her wolf side.
You're surprised that you are the person she goes to. She's a sobbing mess, trying to explain what had happened, repeating over and over how she didn't mean to. It's only your vampire hearing that makes you understand what's she's saying.
And for the first time, your heart breaks for her. Ignoring the internal turmoil insise your mind is easy when you fully focus on her, gentle and oh so kind as you hug her and tell her it's all going to be alright. She only stops crying once she falls asleep.
You stay by her side and it would be so easy to hurt and maybe even kill her then and there, asleep on your bed, her guard down. You don't.
Next time you see each other, you both pretend it had never happened. Hope leaves the school for a month, you assume her mother came to get her so the two of them could spend Hope's first full moon together. But you don't dare ask her about it when she returns.
You don't mention it but there's a silent understanding between the two of you now and you're closer then ever. You love hate it. You promise to yourself that it if you ever get a chance to kill her again, you'll take it.
(It's a lie. And deep down you know it.)

When people die, they go directly to the afterlife, or at least they're supposed to.
You see, Josie Saltzman has been dead for a year, yet she's no closer to leaving. As The Necromancer explains it, someone is holding onto her spirit too tightly. He makes a decision to partially release his control over her, just enough that her spirit is free to go to the person that's holding onto it.
That's how she ends up appearing out of thin air and falling into a partially pained canvas in Hope's room.
