Ok storytime.

So I had the opportunity to attend Juno’s meet n greet & club show. The m&g session was kinda brief for the attendees were about 30 people. Met some fans who were really nice. I do agree when the other fans said sg needs more khh fans 😃.

Juno mentioned it was his first time in Singapore. He’s in the talks for the production of vinyls for the 222:am album 👀👀 /he better make it available to ship to sg lol bc whats the point then/ He is really chill & easy to talk to, down to earth. DJ Dwoo who came w him on this trip. He is so cute irl pls his ig dun do him justice. They had a fansign where he brought some statues album to give out to the fans. I brought my own copy which I had bought a few years back.

Just feel like the management for the m&g could’ve been better. The staff are not very engaging. Like there was a quick q&a session which fans can ask juno anything and they were just lookin at one another lol. Same thing happened during the mini game session; everyone was too shy to participate. The attendees are already so little, and most of them were shy/dun wanna interact much. Dun ask me why, idk either. Like juno is right in front of yr eyes like theres not even a security detail around him gurl im not evn joking. Ok mayb there was security but the fans were too well behaved, security wasnt needed tbh 😄

There could’ve been more activities planned for them e.g. radio show or podcast or youtube contents. There’s like 1 video <link> from the organiser summarising the whole 2 day event. I could spot my face a few times in it 🫣 my infp ass need 2 months to recover from all the interactions i did on those 2 days.

As for the club show, of course theres normal club bouncers & security staff. There were some local acts opening for him which I’m not very familiar with but they brought in the vibe. Juno’s set was fyeee 🔥🔥🔥 he did perf 1 unreleased song which ill post them if anyone wanna see/listen u can pm me here or anon inbox is open as well.

Dwoo’s set was littttt its got mixed with throwback songs which i fw so much. He was having sm fun evn overrun his set 😜😜. They hang ard until like 2.30 ish. My bestie got serenaded by juno bijjj if anyone has a recording of her /she wore a pink dress/ pls send it to me. I was too shoooook to move when it was happening lmao.

They were right behind us when we left the club. So my bestie & I just went to said our goodbyes to them. They are the sweetest i swearrrr 🥺🫶🏻

I ended up having to take "Tendae" by Bobby, "Taught Me How to Love" by D.Ark, and "Love in the Car" by Mino out of the "Khiphop Love Songs Playlist" video.

Including any of those songs got the video Blocked on Youtube. I replaced "Tendae" with "Clap" by MFBTY" and "Taught Me How to Love" with "Deja Vu" by Junoflo". I didn't replace "Love in the Car" with anything.

Going forward, since I would like to make a part 2 since I didn't wanna make a video over 1 hour long, I don't know if I'll be able to put any songs by Bobby, Mino, or D.Ark on any playlists. I'm not happy about that since all 3 have great songs. The point of playlists (for me) is to showcase good songs people may have never heard or maybe just forgot about.

That said, I have a TON of albums and releases to catch up on. That's JUST from this last week or two (Boycold and DPR Ian are the priority right now but there's others as well). Then outside of that there's things from previous weeks or months too! So hopefully I'll find some cool things to add on.

In addition to that, the playlist video made me realize I enjoy editing audio WAYYYYYYY more than I enjoy editing video or images. So I definitely wanna incorporate more audio based content in the future. Definitely playlists here and there but maybe I can come up with something else interesting too!

Dean really posted 2 ig stories. 1 that he deleted because he wrote some bs about no riots no vilodnce and people praising him as he scurried away. When i first seen his story saying “no riots no violence” I thought he was pointing out that in the crowd there was literally no riots and everything was peaceful I didn’t think there were ill intentions behind it I personally still dont think there were ill intentions at all because there are a lot of other people also saying things “look how peaceful it is vs what theyre showing on the news etc ” or simply “i love how we’re able to peacufully speak up”

To address the second part of the message: minsik, jay, ph-1 , raz simone, avatar darko, phe reds, ugly duck, and devita have been extremely vocal about the situation. Golden, Code Kunst, and Simon D havent been screaming their minds out but they also havent been silent and posting only a blank square either

Junoflo Album Release Party

OK so I just got home and got out the shower! So I got to speak to Juno on THREE separate occasions and also got a pic/hug with Dumbfoundead.

Some backstory and out of place details

I was already in K-Town at Karaoke so I walked a couple blocks over to the venue (EDIT: This is actually funny because the venue is actually called The Venue) which took me like 25 minutes or so. I got there a little after 10pm and we waited outside, the people who had reservations went before us. I got in after paying my $10 and I was all alone so I just waited. Junoflo wasn’t there yet . Some girls finally approached me and we chatted for a bit. They were cool. Then another group asked me to take some pictures on their disposable camera and I did. They were hell sweet and they ever came back up to me later after a few drinks and we talked for a bit. Finally, I was standing closer to the dance floor and OF COURSE my 14 year old looking ass got carded AGAIN (the first time was at the entrance where they carded everybody). I knew that was gonna happen at some point during the night lol. A few minutes after that, the crew I hung out with most of the night approached me and were HELLA sweet (KHH Female fans are so damn sweet. Like thanks ladies!!!!). One of the girls even let me use her portable charger to charge my phone. She was a TOTAL lifesaver.

Junoflo comes out!

OK so let me back up. Before that, I actually went up to Junoflo when he came out at about 11. So it wasn’t that crowded, I don’t think most people realized he was there yet but there was some people going up to him, so I did as well. Tapped him on the shoulder and said “Hi Junoflo!” He said, “Nice to meet you, what’s your name?”, I said my name and he was like “I’m Juno” (duh, who else would you be

Partying and Picture with Juno!

So then back to the girls, we hung out and danced or whatever blah blah blah. Good times. Then we took pics with Junoflo which is the second time I got to talk to him. It was basically, “Can I get a pic with you?” and he was like “Sure” and he put his arm around me and we took 2 pictures. I said “Thanks” and went about my night as did he. 

Finally, DJ Woo played “Infinite Styles” and honey….I rapped my heart out. I really did. That was my jam. Then the Statues album started. Juno was performing a bit and telling us stories and generally just vibe-ing and hanging out and dancing with us it was so much fun. He was so cool and down to Earth, like hanging out with an old friend. I was SOOOO close to the small stage as was everyone tbh. It was so small and intimate!

Stories about the albums

One story he told was about “Sportage ‘07″ the song is named after the car that Tiger JK just recently passed down to him, a Kia Sportage ‘07. Tiger bought it when he first started making some money from DrunkenTiger. Juno talked about how he’s not out here flexing and fuck all that! He’s living affordably! Cute! Another story was about “Monday Blues” and how he wrote it one day when he was depressed and didn’t want to get out of bed. And Thank Tasha for telling him to get his ass up hahaha.

Dumbfoundead shows up!

At some point DFD showed up and I didn’t wanna bother him too much with talking and whatnot because like a TRILLION people were asking him for pics so I just asked him for a pic and said “Thanks!” after. He was pretty ghost after that. I think he either left or was hiding behind a wall of people on stage. I don’t blame him. He was literally getting swarmed with people asking for pictures. He kinda came at a bad time because it was halfway through Juno’s set so he had to go onstage to greet him so everybody saw him lol. Anyway, thanks DFD for taking all those pictures and not being able to get even a little oxygen because we were all asking lol

Short heart to heart with Junoflo

Finally, after the album was done playing I was getting ready to leave. My other friend had come near the end of the set so it was cool to see her! She was one of the friends I met at the DPR Live concert! She almost didn’t make it! In the end I was DETERMINED to say this ONE last thing to Juno because I hadn’t formulated my thoughts when I first spoke to him that night so I HAD to have a heartfelt moment. So I leaned in really close after other people were done talking to him and basically I told him:

“I was too nervous to say this earlier (I don’t think he heard that part…good!). I just wanted to say that you rep Cali SO well and I’m SO proud of how far you’ve come. Thank you SO much!”

He seemed touched (NOTE: I don’t remember exactly what he said but this is the main point of it, there was a few other words/sentences that I can’t remember exactly) and he was like “No, thank you for being a fan and liking my music. Thank you so much. I’m glad you came. Thanks a lot” and we were hugging during half what he was saying. He hugged me (yep, HE initiated it!) right after I said what I said and we were hugging through some of what he said. Then I was like “Thank you” and he said “Thanks”

Ending

So after that I was satisfied and left. Overall it was a good night and it was SOOO intimate it was probably like 100 people give or take. The room was so small so anybody who wanted to speak to him could have and he was greeting people and hanging out with people all night. There was really no security or roped off areas or anything. Really, it was like hanging out at an old friends party.
