something that's so interesting to me is the juxtaposition of seventeenth heaven to fml to face the sun. face the sun was a dark album but in the sense of it talking about ambition and loneliness and it felt as if it took place in an entirely different world. it built a story, a universe. fml was a dark album in that it lacked the feeling of youth to me, which is something svt always seems to radiate. it was dark and felt mature compared to their other albums (not in that its maturity is a bad thing or that other album's lack of maturity is bad; there's just a sense of youthfulness that seems embedded in svt's albums and fml seemed to lack it. to me!!!). seventeenth heaven is a return to youth, i think, but it still maintained that maturity fml introduced.

looking back, i think the definite shift in svt's discography can be seen in your choice and attacca. henggarae feels like one big goodbye to their younger selves, semicolon being them shutting the door. your choice and attacca were the introduction of a different svt. henggarae is shutting the door to the "golden years" of childhood and young adulthood; your choice and attacca were opening the door to adulthood. the albums all very much feel like they're growing as svt does, and i think this hugely has to do with woozi (and bumzu) being their producer. 26 year old woozi never could have done aju nice; 20 year old woozi never could have done god of music or super etc. and i really think woozi and the rest of the boys having complete agency (as much as they can have) over their music is what sets them apart from all other groups

pretty good all things considered! while they're both married to two sweet guys and have separate families (none of their kids are other td characters, unfortunately...) they're still really close, and still live next to each other at that same beach town they grew up in, now both running that successful 80s themed ice cream business they've been dreaming of! its safe to say they probably suffered the least on Total Drama, only leaving with a couple of minor scars, good god were they lucky..

Royalty AU where Steve becomes king after his parents die and they set up an arranged marriage proposal with Nancy before they passed away. He goes to visit her with Robin. Steve is overwhelmed and doesn’t really want to get married at all, but definitely not to Nancy. Robin’s crush on Nancy is glaringly obvious and he starts to feel guilty about being the one that gets to marry her.

So he starts hiding in the stables and riding the horses to get away from the palace. Nancy’s stable hand Eddie notices and thinks Steve is being a little shit for not asking if he can go out riding, until he catches him coming back with tear stained eyes. He doesn’t say anything to him the first time, but it keeps happening. 

He finally talks to him and has a moment where he goes uh oh this guy is great, repeatedly telling himself not to fall for a betrothed king. He respects Nancy and doesn’t want to get in the way of this arrangement, but he feels something for Steve so fast. He finds out that Steve isn’t crying over his dead parents, who he actually really resented especially now that he’s caught up in this agreement, but over the situation with Nancy and Robin.

They start taking rides together and get lost in the woods for hours, sometimes having picnics, sometimes swimming in the lake. Eddie’s favorite is when he teaches Steve how to toss knives. He gets close under the guise of showing Steve how to do it, pressing their bodies close together and just breathing Steve in.

Robin brings up his relationship with Eddie one night and Steve just has a complete breakdown, crying over the expectations put upon him by his parents, the weight of running a whole kingdom on his own, and his unexpected feelings for Eddie. Robin opens up about her feelings for Nancy and they hold each other while they cry, thinking it’s hopeless.

Meanwhile, Nancy is scheming with Eddie to figure out how they can switch partners and get out of the royal arrangement. Nancy is meeting with legal advisors and having tea with dignitaries of both kingdoms to discuss the impact their severed relationship would have on trade relations and public approval of Steve if he marries someone not noble. Robin is a royal of some kind like a lady or duchess, so Nancy should be fine. Steve is all alone in his kingdom, so she wants to make sure he’ll be okay.

Eddie is speed running through royal lessons with Mike and Will, learning everything he can about Steve’s kingdom. He starts taking sword lessons from Nancy. When they finally confront Steve and Robin with their plan, both of them sit there in shock clutching each other and it’s like there’s one brain cell pinging back and forth between them as they simultaneously come to the conclusion that it means their crush likes them back.

When Eddie goes back with Steve, there’s an official celebration for their newly announced engagement. Once Eddie settles in, Steve finds out about the sword lessons and suggests Eddie become a knight, where he meets the group tasked with protecting Steve and the kingdom from danger. Dustin, Erica, Lucas and Max are Steve’s personal protection squad.

I saw an ad on tiktok for a “splash blanket” (meant for fun times) and I immediately thought of aaron, a man who is so tired of having to wash the sheets so often but it also doubles as a splash pad for when babygirl is eating a snack on the carpet or furniture (I can’t remember if you named her or not 😭)

Hi. This is what you don’t do on a stranger’s fanfiction they share for free online.

I have a few thoughts.

1. Commenter, I can see you’ve got a lot going on. You’ve got strong feelings and a lot of experiences and you’re allowed to have them. You are NOT, however, supposed to be nasty in public about them.

Since you did decide to comment these things anyway, I’m going to address the most critical parts of them.

2. Do not. Use my fics. And my comment section. To be an asshole to your sister.

And consider that anything you’re saying about her or people with autism or Tim you’re saying about me too, as well as anyone who is autistic or relates to Tim in my stories. That’s not cool. Also, I know how much having a family member with neurological or mental health conditions can be stressful or frustrating or even make you angry. But you have to deal with those feelings in a healthy way, not start assigning blame on one or more people and sit there being bitter about it. Have you considered doing anything to make your own experience less miserable for yourself or making things better for your sister so things are better for you too by extension?

3. You don’t seem to have a full understanding of how autism works or how trauma induced disorders work. Please learn more about them before being an asshole to people without a solid platform to stand on.

4. Since you clearly embarked on your read of my story as a quest to find things to be mean to your sister about and make her and others feel bad, and clearly didn’t read or understand how my entire Shutterbug series works, I’ll make it simple for you now—even though the later fics have an ensemble cast, they are still Tim-centric and Tim is the reason I write these stories. Even though Hymn is the story of Damian’s addition to the family, I never said it was Damian-centric or focused on the cast at large as opposed to primarily a continuation of Tim’s journey.

4. If you don’t. Like. A story. Stop. Reading. The story.

5. Please try to get out of the habit of hate reading, hate commenting, and generally being miserable. You’ve still got time to enjoy life and find things you like and live in your own lane without being bothered by other people even if you don’t like their interests or behavior. It’s a much more relaxing and enjoyable way to live. You can totally do it!

6. Stop commenting on my fics. I’m just going to remove the comments and block you if you need to keep adding hate to my comment section. You can choose to say what you want, but if you’re spreading hate in my little establishment, I’m allowed to show you the door.
