The first character I fell in love with: Probably Sheena

My ultimate favorite character: Kratos

Prettiest character: Definitely Raine, but even as a lesbian, I cannot deny that Kratos is very good-looking.

My most hated character: Kvar, and then Mithos is a character I love to hate because he's so fucked up.

My OTP: ToS is one of my gen fandoms, so I don't really like it for ship purposes. But my favorite ship is probably Kranna, thanks to all the awesome fan content that was made for this ship.

My NOTP: Once again, not too passionate about this one. But I'll go ahead and say Shelos. I DO ship them, but only unrequited Shelos because I think Sheena deserves better (and I want her to have a girlfriend, sue me). I also don't like Raine/Lloyd because I don't believe Raine would fall for him.

Favorite episode (moment): Oh my god, definitely Colette becoming an angel and Kratos betraying the party. What a way to raise the stakes and really gut the player. That part still gets to me.

Favorite season (act): I have a hard time choosing between acts 1 and 2. Act 1 is great because you have Kratos and you start to understand the horror of Colette's situation. Plus, I love Kratos and Lloyd's relationship. Act 2 is great because you know more about the world, the stakes are high, you get introduced to the rest of the main cast, and you get to explore Tethe'alla.

Least favorite season (act): Probably Act 3. I do like it, but the pacing gets out of control during the final act. So it is brought down.

Character that everyone else in the fandom loves, but I hate: Forcystus seems somewhat popular with the fandom, and I don't get it. Probably because we don't get enough time with him.

My 'you're a piece of trash, but you're still a fave' fave: Zelos, that's an easy one. Kratos also counts.

My 'beautiful cinnamon roll who deserves better than this' fav: How could I not say Colette for this one? Hey game, can you please stop tormenting Colette FOR FIVE MINUTES?!

My 'they're kind of cute, and I lowkey ship them, but I'm not too invested' ship: Zelloyd. I get it, I really do. But I don't think that I can quite see it playing out. I'm also choosing Kratos, sorry Zelos. :/

Here are my takes that I couldn't fit:

Lloyd and Kratos are my favorite relationship; messy parent-child relationships are super interesting to me.

I'm not insanely passionate about Colloyd, but I do think it's cute. I can't see either of them being with anyone else, and I like the childhood friends-to-lovers angle a lot. They are adorkable all the way.

Sheena/Colette is awesome. People tearing down female characters to "prove" one of them is a better fit for the male lead pisses me off. And these arguments are almost always dripping with misogyny. That's one of the reasons why I ship Sheena and Colette (in addition to thinking they would be so cute together!).

46. DO THEY EXPRESS THEIR THOUGHTS WITH WORDS OR DEEDS?

kratos can express his thoughts with both words and deeds, he prefers deeds as sometimes his words can betray him. this is in-regards to his somewhat cowardly nature that causes his words to come across to others as something he didn't originally mean ( even now, he carries with him a massive social awkwardness as no matter the era he doesn't keep up with the social trends of the common people ): this fact for example having been seen in the many times kratos conversed with lloyd and co during the journey of regeneration. another thing of note is that his actions can show just how much he cares for his companions. whereas during the party's travel into the elven village of heimdall in hopes of curing colette of her afflicted angel toxicosis ( chronic angelus crystallus inofficium ): during these events is the party learn that kratos' had come to the village prior and practically begged the head elder for access into the woodlands to find a mana leaf herb. though, you can look many eons ago into the past to the era of the third or fourth chosen when kratos' originally designed and constructed the doll, tabatha in hope's of giving reprise to his grieving friend, mithos in hopes of putting a stop to cruxis' existence ( yet, she was another incompatible vessel for martel's soul ): kratos aurion has always been an actions over words individual. going down his specific route ingame when he rejoins the party to smite mithos in the final battle it truly shows how much kratos had grown as a character and wanted to express how and why he felt about the others by using both his actions and words. nowadays, he's a good mix of both, having learned how to use both to convey instead of using one or the other to make up whatever of the two he was lacking.

47. IF THEY FALL IN LOVE, WHO OR WHAT IS THEIR IDEAL?

anna irving is his ideal type in every sense of the word, his soulmate. kratos has been in love and is still in love with the only women he'll ever love. by being with anna kratos learned what a true partnership was and what a relationship entailed. anna taught him compassion again, tenderness, what it means to want to do anything for another, that the world despite all its flaws still held beauty and color. she was a one of a kind women for a one of a kind of love that kratos knows would never occur again, no matter how long he lives. anna brought back light into a world kratos had long since wrote off as only being bleak and darkened. however, this is not to say that kratos could never find love again, because being around for over ten-thousand years he's come to terms that all people come and go. but, they still live for as long as he remembers and kratos plans to always remember, the good and the bad. with that being said, to whomever his new love could or maybe they'd have to accept so much, with what he'll always feel towards anna. he does not envision himself getting with another mortal again but someone else to share the burden and the mental load that comes with longevity would be nice, kratos is perfectly content with all the memories he'll always have.

48. HOW DO THEY EXPRESS LOVE?

how he expresses affection depends on his closeness to you but truly, anyone that is not his chosen life partner would be met with a bunch of mixed signals, glares, and some rare smiles. upon realizing that lloyd is his son that he thought died years ago, his head can scream 'i love you', his mouth cannot. too much time has passed and knowing someone at three verses at seventeen was as if you'd never known them at all. instead, every word of tenderness his conveyed in words holding double meanings of 'don't die / do not die, lloyd' ( this also holds truth when in battle and the ai is controlling lloyd, kratos' ai prioritizes healing lloyd, regardless if player controlled or not, above all others ): towards those he's known for thousands of years, such as yuan and mithos, they've long since passed the need for pleasantries. in the case of kratos and yuan, the two exchange banter and snark to such a strong degree most would question if the two held any sort of friendship. all of these rules seemingly flip on its head when it came to how much tenderness and affection kratos showed anna and lloyd, when the trio traveled as a family unit avoiding cruxis. he'd often call anna the endearing pet name of, אהבה, old aselian / angel language for 'love'. in the company of his family, kratos' self-loathing personality fades and in its place comes a man of utter devotion and a fierce protector.

49. WHAT IS THEIR FIGHTING STYLE, IF IN A FIST FIGHT?

while kratos primarily uses a sword and elemental magicks ( favoring artes of light and lighting ): he is very adapt in all matters of close combat, being not to far off from the likes of regal bryant. though he is able to gear his method of attack towards any given opponent, he prefers in multiple-on-one style brawls he is the type of fighter and strategist who goes for a one hit knockout when/if possible.

50. IS THIS PERSON AFRAID OF DYING, WHY?

in simple terms, no. kratos used to actually seek the embrace of death but no longer does he wish nor long for it. in part because of his own son opening his eyes in that with dying, that was it: he could neither correct his mistakes or become a better person within death. so now, kratos spends his time living, continuing to do the good work of being a guardian to aselia: one day he will lay in the ground alongside his bygone wife, child, and other companions but for now he still continues to draw breath, what's another few thousand years to a man who's already lived well over ten thousand, he still has much to accomplish in life.
