About Me: My sun sign is Gemini, my moon sign is Aquarius, and my rising sign is Aries; I'm mixed, white, and live on Turtle Island. I'm a reconnecting Jew, specifically reconnecting to my culture and people and not so much any religion; I'm also Indigenous, slowly trying to reconnect. I'm a freelance artist and tattooer, and sometimes moonlight as a gamer/art streamer on twitch. I'm a hermit 70% of the time but it's not odd to find me being active in the punk, metal, and goth scenes in my area too. I like my songs either 1 minute or 12 that's basically the mood. I'm one of those polyamorous queer-o-sexuals; the nuance isn't important overall just know I won't tolerate hate of any type.

About My Blog: I mostly make beginner friendly posts on specific/nuanced types of magic, and strive to keep as much of it as secular as possible so that anyone can use them. I also post art sometimes when it's relevant to my craft in some way, usually digital art or some sort of fiber work. I also do varied types of divination; cartomancy, tarot, dice reading, throwing bones, and other things of the sort will pop up from time to time. Sometimes I do free simple readings but not always and not for all divination types, feel free to ask about that! I'm always open to draw sigils for free as long as you understand I do requests in my spare time and it may take a while to complete! I reblog things for later reference for my own notes and sometimes delete them later. Don't worry it's usually a LOT later I doubt you'll miss a good reblog.

About My Craft: Parts of my path are specific to my family's own traditions and heritage, which will mostly stay private. I can't say my style of witching falls into just one or two categories, it's an eclectic mix of art magic, astral magic, death/spirit work, ancestor worship, elemental magic, space magic, not to mention shadow work (which is more psychology than anything, but hey it fits in wonderfully!).

Fair warning: I'm pro-hex, pro-curse, and anti-appropriation. I use cannabis in my craft as well as hallucinogens. I'm autistic, disabled, and mentally ill; none of these things invalidate my work or magic.

The most popular use of Cannabis, by far, is smoking. The psychoactive chemical in weed that gets you high, THC, is activated by heat and fat and alcohol soluable. That makes smoking one of the easiest ways to use it. Anything you do in your mundane life can be a magickal act if you want it to be, and smoking is no different. Use weed’s calming and relaxing effect as part of your meditation ritual, before divination or spellwork, to initiate ritual, or with other members of your coven. (I swear to god if you call it a peace pipe and you’re not native I will astral project there and cuss you out though). Here are a few ways to incorporate a little kushcraft into the simple act of smoking a bowl.

Indica is the body buzz, and tends to me much more calming and sedative. This is great for healing, self love, protection, meditation, and psychic work. Sativa strains are great for high energy spells and magick like love and lust, luck and money, creativity, curses, and hexes.

🖤 Mix in other magickal herbs.

Lavender is good for healing, relaxation, and sleep

Rose petals are included in magick for love and beauty

Damiana will increase the calming and relaxing effects of the weed, and magickally is a strong inducer of lust and passionate love

Mullein is used for communicating with spirits and protecting oneself from evil spirits

Blue Lotus petals again will increase the euphoric feeling of the weed and is used for lunar magick, divination, connections with deities and opening (your mind, doors, the way, etc)

Wormwood and Mugwort can both be used for divination, magick, protection and psychic powers

Mint and peppermint are incredibly useful! Not only do they lend a refreshing minty flavour to the smoke, but mint is used for everything from good luck, money, energy, love, protection, travel, and clearing negativity

Ground cloves smell amazing, clear negative energy, attract money, stop gossip and have sexy vibes (to me anyways).

Red raspberry leaves are a common ingredient in tea for people with uteri to help ease symptoms of PMS and facilitate birth. Magickally, they lend power to those who identify as women, offer protection, and bring on feelings of love for the women in your life.

Catnip is good if you’re working with a familiar. Be sure to share it with them, though! This herb will help make the energy in the space more welcoming to your familiar, make you more open to communicating with them, and attracts goodness and happiness. Special bonus: smoking catnip relieves period cramps super quick

Motherwort can be used to help induce astral travel, channeling, and increasing psychic awareness. It’s also a protective herb that helps you feel confident and trust in the universe. It’s great before ritual to help with both anxiety and getting in a magickal head space.

Sorry if you don't want asks on this, but can you explain a little how you use cannbis in your craft? Just never seen it before, so I'm curious about how it is as an experience for you and what you use it for.

It depends on what I'm specifically doing ofc, but in general I use it before divination, as I feel like it gets the anxious parts of myself out of the way so I can simply receive the messages I need to, but I also pair different strains to different activities based on what I've noticed works well (for instance I prefer sativa dominant hybrids during new moon work)! I also do things like use moon water in my bongs, save the ash and stems for spellwork, and in general I feel it helps in grounding which is something I do A LOT (calling back to the anxiety thing here lol).

I feel like there's definitely a lot that can be done with it that sometimes gets overlooked and chalked up to "stoner witch aesthetic" but at the end of the day that assumption does nothing but provide an extra shield against stuffy, witchier than thou types xP
