💥 LONG Raw and Real Post Alert 💥 I can almost cry looking at this picture. 😭 When I was in my early 20s, I was morbidly obese, 320 pounds. Actually, even as a child I was ALWAYS overly chunky. 😔 As an adult, I didn’t feel very beautiful or that I had anything to offer for people, so to compensate, I always had to be the life of the party. 🥺 I wanted people to like me, to find value in me so I could fit in with the “beautiful people.” 🙋‍♀️ Can you relate to that feeling? Living like that was exhausting and a hard act to keep up. I was always “performing” from the moment I walked out the door until the moment I got home. 😮‍💨 I tried for 10 years to have children but couldn’t due to my weight. 💔 I started the journey to lose weight in 2000 in order to have children. It took me 2 years of yo-yo diets and manipulating my body to lose 100 lbs. And I want TO BE CLEAR, just because I lost some weight DOESN’T mean I was healthy. 🤯 In 2002 I became pregnant and over the next months had 2 babies 14 months apart. Huge praise. 🙏 However, I went back to my yo-yo diet ways and was turning myself into a diabetic; swollen ankles, blurred vision, foggy mind and so much more. 😞 My true journey to optimal health, personal growth/self love, and better fitness didn’t start until I found our program (the one I coach) in 2008. 🥰 I am so grateful for my friend that loved me enough to share this gift with me. 🙏 My life is forever changed. The transformations that of happened in every area of my life are absolutely priceless to me. 🎁 Am I perfect? No!
