The mesmerizing mauve stinger is a stunner, literally! Although small in size (its bell can be a few inches in diameter), its long tentacles and the bumps on its bell pack a powerful punch to protect from predators and paralyze prey.
Considering the Horrorboros has the same hair style /similar hair style to the Stinger (and fish sticks but those are just baby stringers ) we are very lucky it has a booyah bomb instead of this alternative
I hope I didn’t bother u going thru and reblogging a bunch of your stuff 😅 💖
I wanted to say I absolutely LOVE your speculative biology mario work and all the effort you put into it!! I haven’t seen anything about Luigi from you yet, how’s he doing in this world?
out of curiosity, what ships between very minor characters do you mean?
more so with the crown of candy but it's a really dumb group on twitter that ships iirc keradin and lapin, and belizabeth and citrina (did not appear at all, was only posthumous) and iirc shipped raphaniel and the onion ring guy in ravening war. They tend to get fixated on minor (as in side/peripheral/not given much interiority within the medium of Actual Play; not as in child) characters and kind of low-key ignore the majority of the actual PCs and get mad when these are treated as niche and unimportant by like, the production team and cast of D20. The "Matt Mercer will ruin Established Fanlore" group. They did not learn from their mistakes and are throwing similar fits about FHJY.
Last AP-centric rant before i go to work but Actual Play is a really garbage medium to get into if you're super invested in side characters because like, you really don't get their view, ever, since the camera pretty rigidly follows the heroes by design. It's a great medium for mystery-heavy plots for that reason but like, you don't get to have scenes of anyone else unless the heroes interact with them. It's fine if you like a side character in an actual play but if you're mad that they're not given more screen time it's like, well, yeah, that's the framework we're using, have you considered reading books.
