Headcanon that Bi Han only wears traditional clothing when he isn't in Lin Kuei garb. He looks amazing and regal in it yes, but it's kind of embarrassing to Kuai Liang and Tomas, who usually wear normal civilian wear when they're relaxing and out. They beg Bi Han to do the same because why is he so formal at a hole in the wall noodle shop? I personally love and obsess over disillusioned and self-isolating protagonists which is one of the reasons why I advocate for a Young Wizard who just leans so much into their role as the Savior that they're now just this broken down individual who now genuinely shares everyone's fears and legends of them of being this Ultra Powerful, Non-Human, Above-All-The-Peasants Legend Amongst Men. How many times has anyone watched episode 4 where at the end Kaya kisses Usopp goodbye? That WHOLE scene has me dying for one specific reason.

Yes. Zoro is awkward. He looks away. They all do. But the WHOLE time even when Luffy and Nami start talking and she says, “Let them have this one.” He is STILL looking uncomfortable and nervous. Like, what is even affection?? What even is kissing???

I know they are supposed to be between 17-19 when they all first meet, but after watching this scene over and over again, and finding this video, y’all cannot tell me that Zoro has 1) had a girlfriend 2) has kissed someone. Because that boy is so nervous just from WATCHING A KISS. It’s giving cute fuckin inexperienced in the ways of affection and life and I can’t deal. He’s so soft and such a baby. A BABY.

This is why when I write for him he pushes back at any sort of affection or he struggles to say or do the right thing, feeling wise. He’s inexperienced when it comes to relationships and what is the right thing to say. Even in episode two, he says “I don’t talk. I hit things.” If He’s about to profess some type of feelings prepare yourself for a messy and confusing ride cause it’s going to have a lot of starts and stops and heavy sighing mixed in with throat clearing.

Flit (ginger) finds an injured, stray cat and is like "aw poor little guy... let's see if my sister can help you" and so he takes the injured black cat to Fleet. Who is then "I have no idea how to heal a cat" and turns him into a human, heals him, and is ready to turn him back into a cat but then he's just "WAIT IF IM HUMAN I CAN HELP YOU! LEMME BE A HUMAN! I WANNA HELP YOU!" and Fleet looks to Flit who shrugs since it's hard being the only assistance to his sister. So he proceeds to name the guy Eureka and now Eureka refers to Flit as "master" and Fleet as "mistress".

And obsessively tries to help them. But he also talks a lot at times and Fleet gets frustrated and turns him back into a cat as punishment and he sulks off to cuddle next to Flit... who is unfortunately much more patient than Fleet so he's now just stuck with this cat-guy-hybrid obsessed with him. And he doesn't regret /helping/ the cat but .... Eureka is really clingy. So he's just resigned to having either a black cat in his lap or a man looming over him asking "whatcha doing, Master?" at all times.
