he was specifically requested - there was some sort of plan in place when they asked for an out-of-town cleric of kristen’s former god to enroll in their school and join their recently shattered party.

and, no, this probably wasn’t the original plan.

perhaps, in stealing his diamonds, kipperlily was securing his inability to fulfill the oath of bringing the bad kids back, forcing him to lose his magic.

maybe she always intended to sacrifice him.

slitting his throat, of course, was a reaction to being clocked by kristen, a hasty move, a hope of trapping them in. but she likely never intended for him to survive the year, if the choice was that easy.

and your heart has to break, slightly, for this child. who was raised in a cult, who likely couldn’t tell he was being used by everyone around him. who was maybe, just maybe, starting to get the tools that could one day help him see those things. but it was cut short by someone he probably believed to be a friend.

I cannot express enough that if your reaction, as a hobby artist, to not getting that many notes on your art is to say "maybe I should just stop doing art altogether" you need to stop posting art to tumblr

not necessarily forever, not even for long, but just stop putting your art on here and start doing it for you again, remember why you enjoyed doing art in the first place and stop relying on the attention of faceless people on the internet for your enjoyment of your hard work

believe me, I get it, nothing crushes the artistic soul quite like labouring for hours on a piece only for it to get like 10 notes, so you need to find your own source of joy in the act of creation and a lot of the time that means making art and not showing it to anybody

I keep seeing people saying its weird that buck said that he was 'trying to get Tommys attention' and like I think it makes sense if you take into account that its BUCK thats saying this.

Buck is so jealous all episode, hes trying to get Eddies attention all episode but now hes calmed down and realized that he was acting out instead of talking to Eddie. Instead of Eddie being at Bucks door its Tommy, already turning expectations on its head. And then Buck apologizes and Tommy says all the right things and Buck realizes oh, hes kinda into me. And i'm kinda into him. So buck does what buck does best and falls into the flirting and the romance and rationalizes it like oh i must have done all that because I liked Tommy. And its clear to us as onlookers that he was preening for Eddies attention, but buck being buck is like no it must be because I wanted Tommy's attention. Its the same story as it always is with Buck, running into a relationship because he doesn't want to conciously face what he already knows subconsciously, which is that hes already been in love with Eddie for a long time.
