Can’t wait for someone to make a copy of RS’s coveted “signature” stamp and just buy a few dozen books, stamp them, and sell them as “autographed” at a huge markup, and goofballs will buy them all.

I mean seriously, that stamp will be incredibly easy to copy if it’s not already been copied, it’s the polar opposite of exclusive or personal. Why anyone would pay $20 for that is beyond me but it proves that RS is a shrewd business person by any means necessary and will be richer than I ever will be. No wonder Hades is her idol.

No joke, there are pictures of Rachel using the stamp at SDCC and-

That stamp is literally just a standard one that you could order through any custom manufacturer. It's not a roller in any way, there's no unique cut they're working off of, it's just a round press stamp.

And it shows because this is the quality of the actual ink when it's on the paper-

Basically low grade printer ink on glossy paper. It's not gonna last at all, and it turned out exactly how I was expecting - there's too much solid color with too thin empty areas so the ink is bleeding into what's supposed to be 'white' (we deal with the same concepts in tattooing so I knew this was gonna happen as soon as I saw the stamp design).

Anyways so that's my long-winded way of saying that I took the stamp that was on Rachel's IG from her promotional posts, desaturated it, added a tone curve layer to adjust the sharpness/clarity, and threw it into VistaPrint. Just for science, and because I'm an asshole trying to prove a point.

Would literally only cost me $20-$30 for the stamp after shipping.

Now for obvious reasons I'm not saying anyone SHOULD do this, like... I'm showing you this for science but really, don't go making counterfeits because of this LOL This is really just to demonstrate how easy it would be for anyone to make a convincing replica, which is the unfortunate drawback to using stamps as your "signature" - and with a very low quality printer shop stamp to boot - because it makes it pretty easy to copy. Not to mention showing off the stamp design beforehand through social media means that people (like me, oop-) can rip it out of your image posts and reverse engineer it into something that can be uploaded and purchased. I get she wanted to make sure that people knew what they were getting, it would have been a HUGE piss off to go see her for a signature just to find out she was doing a stamp, but like... these are the risks that come with stamps.

Don't get me wrong, you can just as easily forge a signature, but it's a little harder to nail someone's personal signature vs. a stamp and you can usually find ways to make it more unique (like what Junji Ito did by giving out little doodles on each signature). It also doesn't help that that stamp is made so cheaply that a poorly done replica would probably be on the same level of quality as the authentic one. And of course she added insult to injury by deciding to sell ACTUAL HAND-SIGNED BOOKS WITH ONLY ONE BOOK THAT HAS ONE CRAPPY DOODLE INSIDE AT ONLY ONE SPECIFIC BOOKSTORE A WEEK AFTER SDCC WAS OVER THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR EVEN IF IT MEANS YOU'RE GONNA HAVE AN EXTRA COPY OF A BOOK YOU ALREADY OWN-

sigh This isn't an uncommon thing to do, it's not unique to Rachel, but it gives me grifting gacha vibes and it feels like such a fuck you to the people who travelled all the way out to SDCC and paid for the ticket prices just to get a shitty printer ink stamp and then find out a week later after they've undoubtedly gone home that one bookstore in San Diego actually has hand-signed copies. I've seen Youtubers pull this kind of shit with vinyl printings and Youtooz figures and it's equally tacky.

If she had done it either with handwritten signatures or at the VERY least a better quality stamp design and higher quality ink, then yeah, it would be harder to make it seem legit for anyone who's not privy to creating things like lino cuts or using roller ink and thus make it a much more valuable collector's item. But the books at SDCC were literally made with a stamp that anyone can replicate for $20 and then the hand-signed ones were offered at only one bookstore after Rachel had already flown home. It feels so impersonal and cold to the audience that has supported her through all the bullshit she's pulled in the last year.

So if Dana said she didn't have any original season 3 ideas, why did she also say on Twitter that she wanted 10-20 half hours for season 3?

Now apparently from the transcript and the like, what was said that there were like one sentence pitches for episodes but nothing concrete or the like. That I believe. After all, it's like taking sticky notes and using them to jot down passing thoughts. But... Ideas don't mean anything. You need to have an actual coherent thought as to how you are going to use those ideas as a creator.

So when she says she wanted those episodes, I believe her. But... Instead of it being so she could have coherently finished her story, something you can feel isn't exactly happening during S3, it would have been to explore her ideas and let it be her mouthpiece. Even as far back as S1, you can clearly see this conflict in the show. The First Day lets her take potshots at modern education and saying kids should have more freedom... At the expense of everyone forgetting that multi-tracking is literally illegal. But the idea was more important than the overall story so in it went.

Besides, when asked about your work that you cherish so much, are you going to tell people you wanted LESS time to do whatever you wanted? Or are you going to say you wanted as much time as possible? Especially since without a solid plan, you can't be like Matt Braley who straight up went "Nope. Amphibia wasn't shortened. It was always planned to be three seasons."

I still stand by the idea that Dana actually wanted to just keep going WELL past S3. Even now, she wants to do a spin off and one of her greatest regrets for what was missed was not being allowed to do more teenage Raeda stuff in the show. A second episode in the past. Expanding on what? Who knows but it's more time spent with the ship that Dana clearly loved.

I am not saying Dana was lying or a bad person but the question that is worth asking is if that time would have been spent actually wrapping up plot threads or exploring characters as they are now. Otherwise, it would end up being like the S2B and S3 we got where we are still getting elements added, refusing to wrap up story elements, and having to drag back plot points from almost entire seasons ago (Willow and Amity's friendship), if not MULTIPLE seasons ago (Willow's lack of power control) just to do something with these characters despite it being way too late to treat those elements as relevant. There is a reason why if I hear that Dana is the lead for another cartoon, I'll probably be staying away. Not when I don't want promising statements to never have a plan behind. Not again.

Expected this to be shorter. I'm rambly though. Also just wanted to clear this out. Admittedly, it's stuff like this that makes it so that if anyone ever told me they didn't trust me as a writer, I'd understand. Not because of me wasting time but because my mental health gets in the way and can cause ideas to die as my brain just refuses to write them. How we as writers use our time with the audience is important. It leaves an impression and for me, Dana's impression is incredibly negative because I care about story, even if characters come first to me.

Sigh.

Sooo Paralives and the Brainwashing EA has done

It's funny. Paralives launched a gameplay video that looks really good, along with some announcements. One of them being that they won't be offering paid DLC. I was watching Satch on Sims and him, plus a few other people, seem to think this is a bad move.

No shade, but it's easy to tell people who don't really game and all they play is the Sims. Like EA got yall so brainwashed that you actually think you're SUPPOSED to be getting charged for base game features.

His concern was wanting a different world to play in or different aethitics. Who said we can't get that for free? We may not know what all features Paralives are going to offer, but what rule says that they can't give us another world to play in for free? I mean literally, there are so many games that do free updates and only offer DLC if it's a niche theme that not everyone would be into, or if they're adding ADDITIONAL gameplay that has no resemblance to what's already in the game.

Only EA removes base game features just to sell them back to you later. Or expect you to buy a multitude of different DLCs that have the exact same theme or niche. Now don't mind me while I gripe on this point a little.

Growing Together and Parenthood should have been one generations themed pack.

Discover University and High School Years should have been one pack focused on education.

All of the occults (vamps, wolves, witches, ghosts, aliens, mermaids, plant people) all should have been in ONE paranormal pack.

Features from Dine Out should have been included in Get to Work. There was no need for that to be seperate DLC when they both relate to active careers.

For Rent and City Living should have been one pack.

Simple features that should not be locked behind a pay wall, and I'm not even talking weather. Like why do I have to buy DLC just for my sims to have access to a hot tub (Perfect Patio), an ice cream maker (Cool Kitchen), a popcorn maker (movie night), for them to have the ability to carve a pumpkin or have different holloween costumes, when Holloween is a holiday that comes in the base game with base game ability to trick or treat, etc. (Spooky Stuff), I have to buy Vintage Glamour just to have a butler (if anything the butler should have been in get famous along with everything in the luxury stuff pack. These are all things that should just be base game that they force you to buy DLC to have access to.

And speaking of weather, I do feel like packs like seasons, pets, laundry day, bust the dust, and my wedding stories should all be base game features. Yeah I don't care if we're used to paying for stuff like seasons and pets, things can and should change. These are all life basics, why am I paying extra?

Now I'm not all negative. There are packs that actually make sense. Get Famous makes sense. So does Island Living, Strangervile, all the vacation packs (jungle, outdoor, snowy). Hell, even Journey to Batuu made sense. Yeah, hear me out. These are all OPTIONAL packs. Stuff that not everyone is going to play with but they each bring something different to the game. Now whether any of these packs are filled to the brim with playable content, thats another story. But at least the concept makes sense.

Okay, off my soapbox and moving on.

I will forever and always use No Man's Sky as an example of a development team that chose integrity over money. That team has been releasing update after update for YEARS. Significant updates too. Updates that completely change the gameplay mechanics, adds brand new features to the game, or updates/changes the look of the game. All for free. Yes, it's normal. Not normal in the sense that these companies should be releasing broken games or not delivering on promises to begin with, but at least they weren't money-hungry assholes about it. The amount of updates that game has, quite a few could have been paid DLC and they didn't do that. Now if they started releasing DLC with specialty ships or different cosmetic features, I would have no problem paying for that cause it's optional.

Paralives knows what they're doing. As long as they are focused on making the base game everything it's supposed to be, I don't see why they couldn't sell the type of optional DLC that makes sense in the future. But I'm certainly not going to say that they're making a mistake by not having paid DLC right now.

I can definitely see them adding things like weather, a new life stage, or new clothes/build objects for free and that's dope. I'm excited about Paralives more so than Life By You. But either way, I'm just glad EA has competition in the life simulation genre now that isn't just about farming management.

Watched The Last Voyage of the Demeter last night and I... Just can't understand how even Stephen King and Del Torro are fans? I'm happy so many people enjoyed it but I found it baffling in its disregard for the plot, the characters and any and all lore, and just good cinema? It's such a pity because I was so hyped. And even more of a pity because the movie is SO beautiful in regards to set, filmography and score. Gah!

The rules set up in the book? Toss them: not a single rule aside from Dracula only coming out at night (which is not even a fixed rule in the book) is followed. Dracula isn't bothered by crucifixes and does not use his morphing power to become other creatures. Which means the iconic final scenes of the captain being bound to the ship an dog-ula jumping off the ship did not happen.

creature design: by the time dracula leaves his castle he's looking like a nice old man with an eccentric mustache and can speak perfect English. He planned his departure for decades at least. This Dracula looks like a half-decayed corpse monster, which I could have understood as a creative decision (i.e. dracula not bothering to look nice since he'll kill them all anyways) but dracula is also weakened and seems to be barely able to understand English. I'm supposed to think this creature managed to plot to have his coffin brought to the ship and multiple residences having been set up in the UK for him when he's this weak and monsterly? And the design after looking at it for a while doesn't look monsterly, just very ugly and dumb. And the burning scenes for the sired crew looked bad. very bad. The gruesomeness was cool though.

Book-dracula is dumb, he's dumber: so book dracula is dumb because he ate his way through the crew before arriving safely, right? and his hubris gets him killed in the end as well. But this thing? Even more dumb. Book dracula planned his trip for decades at least. He's got tons of wooden crates with dirt because he knows he might need to be able to hide in them when another coffin is found out. But it also has the added benefit of making it harder to find him, because there's many identical boxes, and if the crew were to start searching, the odds of finding him before he managed to escape were lower. This dumbo has x amount of random crates, and then one MEGACRATE with his crest which is so obvious it's stupid. Also: what's his game? Hiding or not hiding? He hides his first body but not the blood on the ship? But then some other killings he's not even ashamed of being seen? Why?

bad movie making: why add additional people? Is there a point to Clemens' backstory? He didn't use his doctor skills a lot and his backstory has no pay off in the end. Anna is just an infodump. The boy is a great actor and lovely, but he was just inserted to draw on our heartstrings. On top of that the movie doesn't set up its reveals properly. Sure, dracula sired/half transformed some of the crew and Anna, but with the first man he is first just a transforming mess, then becomes possessed at night when dracula practices control over him, and at dawn he's suddenly sensible somewhat? He's immediately dying to sunlight. Then Toby. No transformation, just straight up dead? And then turns monsterly during the day??? That's another way of it happening, no logical repeat. Then Anna is suddenly revealed to have been slowly dying? But it wasn't set up by any kind of sun-sensitivity or her temporarily losing control over her actions? A shame.

Dumb actions; they hammer the ship shut so dracula "only has one way out". But dude? he's literally gotten into every room of the ship without explanation or broke his way through. Why wouldn't he be able to now? Are the characters amnesiacs?

This was so frustrating because I LOVE the books, and I love almost all dracula movies, and there's a lot of bad ones and B-movies and even C-movies. Bad special effects, gore and unfaithful adaptations don't phase me. But I need the characters to be consistent and not dumb, for there to be some rules about vampires, for the movie to be consistent and for the plot to make sense, for characterization to be a chekhov's gun instead of random trivia.

11. Favorite turtle (iteration specific)?

maaan this is a tough question. i think i’ve said before that my Top Favorite Turtle of All Time switches between all the 03 kids, but it’s usually Mikey or Raph. right now I think Raph is my favorite. His 03 characterization is so compelling, he just tugs at my heartstrings in a lot of different ways. I love that he starts at his lowest point early in the show and then we get to see him gradually learn to navigate his feelings and connect with the people around him. He's doing his best to figure out his place in the world, he feels like a very real depiction of what it's like being a neurodivergent teen (okay I know I'm projecting now but also I'm right). The sibling angst can hit a little close to home sometimes but I also look at him and think "oh that kid is gonna be okay. he's just figuring it out." Yknow??

It’s Mikey is anyone surprised. Like. That’s my funny little guy!!

I think he brings something new to the table with every incarnation. Like, the rest of the boys feel like they mostly have the same core traits across iterations, but I get the sense that most Mikeys are different from each other on a more fundamental level. They all have different ways of thinking and flaws and I find them all to be very compelling and entertaining to watch :]

Raph is a close second though! Again, who is surprised qwq

18. Did any of their voice actors really stand out to you?

Ahh omg I'm actually so glad you asked this one anon. I pay a lot of attention to the voice acting so just going in loose chronological order:

Obviously Rob Paulsen is a fucking gem who brought Raphael to life and p much singlehandedly made '12 Donnie likeable (sorry the writers did all that to you buddy). But man I don't see enough love for Barry Gordon as Donatello! He brings such a particular vibe to the character that's so endlessly endearing I just think it's funny that he's kinda the meanest one but he sounds like the littlest fucking guy ever

Michael Sinterniklaas as Leo is so fucking charming I just. Holds him gently. I like how confused he sounds all the time. I like his little laugh he does in the scene where they're playing with the hose. I like his "it's okay!" line in The Ultimate Ninja. I like that he's going for grinditude. I like him so bad ToT And Sam Riegel as Donny is wild because I think he sometimes has the weirdest line reads--not in a bad way, just like, why did you say it like that. I'm forever obsessed with him.

Rewatching 2007 movie was so wild I could barely focus with how many voices I recognized in there. Sarah Michelle Gellar as April was really fun. With Mako as Splinter okay I may as well just cry myself to sleep

Greg Cipes and Ashley Johnson characters are literally their own ship dynamic like whatever that is I don't care they invented it

The entire Rise cast is sooo good I adore every one of them the comedy just legitimately would not work without them. Not a bad line read in that whole show tbh. I'm particularly fond of Josh Brener as Donnie for that autistic-ass delivery. Also cannot stress enough how great Ayo Edebiri and Zelda Williams are too like the entire cast just has such a good vibe

I MEAN. It's hard to choose they all deserve a hug!! But I am not much of a hugger and neither are a lot of the characters who need the most hugs. So I think... Rise Mikey or Alopex maybe? I think that they would give very good hugs.

Hey! I'm Pie. My main account is @digitsofpie, and here is where I like to post sketches, art, and other such things about Spamton/the Addisons from Deltarune.

I usually will be posting sketches here and there, but I don't mind getting asks and requests! Some things to keep in mind, though:

First and foremost, absolutely no nsfw. Maybe like some vague jokes, but beyond that, nothing.

Also, nothing "proship" or "problematic." I don't condone that kind of thing on my other accounts and I don't condone it here.

I see the Addisons (including Spamton) as coworkers and friends, so occasionally they'll be shipped. I don't mind other interpretations, and if my interpretation makes you uncomfortable, you totally don't have to interact with me. But don't come to me seeing them as both siblings and dating. That's... just gross and why the hell would anyone do that if you could be doing literally anything else.

And of course no bigotry or anything like that. If I see people interacting who obviously express their racism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, etc. you can expect a hard block.

Anyway, moving on, you might notice I sometimes make art in conjunction with a fic I'm writing. You can find my works here.

I kind of treat the Addisons like my own ocs (aaaaand they kind of Are at this point), so here are some headcanons I have for them so you can get to know them! Note that I have given them their own unique names, but in posts I will usually use just their common names (Pink, Orange, etc.) since I've reserved them mostly for the fic.

Pink Addison

Baker-Miller (Millie), he/they/she

Millie is very proud and self-centered, and they are one of the most popular and successful Addisons in Cyber City. She often speaks for and voices most of the opinions for the group, and because she's rather intimidating, she's not used to being opposed.

They specialize in shoes, jewelry, other such accessories as well as romantic products.

Millie does not like Spamton. Not at all. He finds him to be annoying and a liability, like being seen with him would damage his image.

Blue Addison

Cerulean, they/them

Cerulean is a calm and reserved Addison, and is much less... antagonizing than their friends. They act as a voice of reason for the group.

They work at a shoe shop which is a second location of the one Millie works for. Millie got them this job, as their previous one failed.

Cer is really fond of Spamton, and while they don't seem to do much about how the others treat him, they still try to make him feel included.

Orange Addison

Ginger, he/she

Ginger is very hardworking, almost dangerously so. She's a bit oblivious as to what goes on in her interpersonal relationships, but is very well-meaning. He's sort of the group's dad friend.

Ginger, of course, is the prime clothing salesman in Cyber City. Unlike other Addisons, Ginger makes his clothing from scratch, other working late night after late night just to make sure he has enough stock. All the hard work really pays off, though.

Ginger finds Spamton funny. Both in a positive and negative way. That's really all there is to it.

Yellow Addison

Aureolin (Lin), she/xe

Lin is bombastic and vivacious. She's often too much for the group to handle, but it's not like she cares. She takes pride in it. Xe can be pretty rude but it's more of a front than anything.

Lin puts the ads in the paper, but xe aspires to start writing xer own articles someday. When she doesn't get an opportuniy, though, she's sure to complain about it at the grill.

Lin was the one to get Spamton its first internship sending emails to clients, and has a lot of fun teasing it whenever xe can.

Spamton!

he/it

Nobody really knows what he's supposed to be. He's like an Addison, but not quite. Like there's something missing. Or there's something more? But nobody really pays much attention to it outside of that, so it's not like anybody cares.

On Spamton's opinions on the others:

If you think Millie doesn't like Spamton, Spamton does NOT like Millie. He's mean to it every chance he gets, and sometimes Spamton feels like it even deserves it.

Cerulean is by far the person that Spamton adores the most. They're nice to him when they don't even have to be. He can tell he still probably hasn't done enough to earn their respect-- but it's not like he doesn't welcome it.

Ginger likes to treat Spamton like his own personal mannequin. Which, as long as Spamton gets some sort of money out of it, isn't really bothered by. Plus, Ginger seems to really understand his style.

Spamton is really thankful for the things Lin has done to help it, and although it gets pissed at the teasing from time to time, it liked whenever Lin let it ride on her motorcycle. But for some reason, he's only ever allowed to ride in the sidecar.

As for himself? Spamton doesn't really have anything positive to offer. He just hopes, that at some point, someone will come along to give him a reason to see himself as something bigger.

I enjoy the interest my things have gotten, and while this isn't really an ask blog, like I said before, I do enjoy asks and things, so don't be afraid to send something if you have an idea! I'm usually glad to build upon that. Thanks!

(Prt. 1) I just checked your blog and saw you replying in real-time to my messages. XD OMG, YES! I completely forgot to mention his iconic "I guess we can't be friends" line ASDFGHJKL. There's honestly so much to say about Cloud and Rufus because, let's face it, Rufus has been underappreciated and overlooked for YEARS (and the Turks, too, while I'm rambling again, but that's for another day...). Back in the OG, I get why that is because of his stereotypical portrayal and lack of screentime.

I 100% BELIEVE that Rufus would make a better romantic partner for Cloud than literally ANYONE ELSE in the series. Yes, that includes T*fa and Aer*th. Why, you ask? See next part.

Rufus and Cloud both love their mothers (Rufus's mother died when he was young) deeply, and don't have much of a relationship with their fathers (Cloud's father was too much of a "free spirit" and got eaten by fiends, as stated in ToTP, and Cloud knows what his mother tells him; Rufus's father was neglectful, and Rufus grows up hating/resenting him, as stated in OtWtS). Both hide their loneliness growing up by acting stoic and cool, and they carry this in their adult lives, too.

Both of them grew DESPARATELY trying to be somebody important and prove themselves to others. And for those who don't know, Rufus DOES crave his father's acknowledgement since he was a child as stated in the novels (he still hates his guts, of course). By the time they're both adults, they even know how childishly rebellious they acted, but they still struggle with their insecurities and loneliness. Again, Rebirth is making those two points in particular VERY OBVIOUS outside the books.

Okay, anon, I wanted to answer your first group as an aggregate this time so it would all make sense. I'll put my reply under the cut so the post doesn't get too long!

It's true, so much of Rufus' history and then character development is hidden behind a wall-of-entry, so to speak, and that does suck. You really just can't get the full depth and breadth of him as a character, especially as he's being fleshed out in Remake/Rebirth, without that background. Or, at least, you'd be missing a lot.

I don't want to focus too much on who is 'best' to ship Cloud with, I'm not here for that and I think the reason I love this world so much is because of the strength and uniqueness of the interpersonal relationships. I think the people around both of them are integral to their lives and development, 'yes men' or otherwise. That said, I do believe they're good foils to one another and that it's a great ship. Considering the people who are left after Meteorfall and then Bahamut Sin, I can't say I'd be entirely disappointed or shocked if Cloud and Rufus did not become closer allies...and then closer other things are possible. Which is the only window I need 😈

What I'm really interested in with Rufus is the exploration of this desire to pay back what Shinra owes, how deep it could go, how his own near-death experiences shaped him, and how the people close to him followed whatever path he decided to take, regardless. It really is a lot like Cloud's story. He takes his group down an extremely dangerous path, unbeknownst to him (and them), and everyone suffers for it, but the intense bond they have, the ability to forgive and see a bigger picture, keeps all of his loved ones close and still believing in him.

Matter of fact. Yes. But before that, I gotta say a few more things.

I personally am glad we didn't get to see more of them, cause what I saw of them already annoyed the heck out of me 😅 I'm capital B big on romance, soulmates and true love, but these two ... 😬 yeaaaaah ... no. If you're confused as to why I'm not a shipper, you can check out my analysis of them. I have 2 where I gave my best to explain it as well as possible 😊

I'm a very analytical person and very critical. If I see something, I study it to pieces. If I'm told something and I don't see actions to back that up, I don't buy it. And if we are told nothing but I see a hint that gets me to dive in a study and I then find proof to carry my theory, then it's exactly the other way around and I'll make sure to prove my point in that too.

That means, if I had found at least the tiniest hint that they are in fact each others true love, I kid you not, I would have plastered my blog with analyses of them, running through all the points that prove this to be true. I would ship them and rave my heart out cause I'm all in for true love, as already mentioned. But ... there was nothing.

I tried hard, very hard, to find anything that would have had me go "Oh! There we go! I can use that! Take a hold on this!" But then the end came and Amaya's actions only added up to what I already knew and rather than convince me I was wrong, the whole thing was kicked down the cliff energetically and proved my theory right. I respect shippers but I just cannot bring myself to it. Not even in an AU. After everything I saw, I just don't like them together 😬

And I've asked all my friends, asked my family memebers (because thats literally one of the first things I do before I fully dive into a study. I ask how others saw things.) Sometimes people don't see what I see, simply because they don't care to go deeper and those itty bitty details pass them by. My mom, for example, is probably the most direct person I know. She looks at things very objectively, whereas I look deeper) And my Dad and my cousin are like me, they watch very carefuly and pay attention to tiny details that easily float others by.

Now that I have that said, I'll tell a bit of my headcanon. Well, it will be way more throughly explained in my story I'm writing but anyway ...

To me, they had a marriage of convenience. Way back when they first gotten to know each other, they became close friends and at one point even started loving each other like siblings.

As soon as Magnifico found he posessed enough magic skills, he made the plan to find a place and build his new kingdom, his utopia, where he could make sure his past would never repeat. It was clear to Amaya that she wanted to help, of course. Coming from a royal family herself, she had at least a little know how that she could add to Magnifico's.

The idea of entering into a marriage of convenience was his idea. Partly to protect Amaya from inconveniences, since she was a lady and he didn't want people to whisper rude things behind her back simply because she was close to him.

The whole procedure was done quietly and purely on paper. But appearing as a married couple in public was enough to shut the whispering down and please Amaya's parents.

Now, don't misunderstand me, Magnifico and Amaya cared for each other, but they're just not soulmates. If they had been each other's true love, we would have seen it. Both in words and even more so in action. Especially in action. But we didn't.

what's your favorite type of starship and what are you currently flying around in?

Hi! Favourite type has a bit of a complicated answer! My all-time favourite dream ships are solar ships, but specifically I've been nonstop thinking about this absolutely gorgeous white one with a gold trim and crescent sail and double blade wings I caught a glimpse of flying out of a space station a while ago. I wasn't even looking to buy a ship, I just saw it for a split second flying out of the space station and shouted in pure shock so loud a group of Korvax ran up to me and tried to do some kind of emergency repair on my exosuit because they thought I was screamimg because my life support was failing. And I was dying. So if that means anything to you... well, it came back several hours later, and I got a better look at it. She was definitely a higher end class, good storage for a solar ship, even looked like the launch thrusters had recently been repaired and upgraded (though with what, I don't know). And the pulse engine looked damn close to brand new, but you could tell this wasn't a brand new ship! Just a very well maintained one!! And it's not just that they're stylish. They're just SO fuel efficient. It's almost scary seeing how big a difference a vesper sail makes on a ship's pulse drive compared to, quite literally, every single other ship you will ever pilot. Now I'm imagining how rarely I'd have to stock up on Tritium to get anywhere if only I had that ship. I can't. I have to stop. I'll be talking about it forever. I'll make myself sick talking about it. Does it sound like I'm being paid by a ship manufacturer? I promise you, I'm not!! I just really like this ship ok!!

And of course I was the most short on units I've ever been when I examined it a second time. Might not ever be able to buy it. Unless I can rope one of my friends into paying for it? I don't know! I have exactly one friend who makes a lot of money, or at least more than I currently do. And I don't think I'll be able to convince them to buy an entire solar ship for me, especially not one in such great condition, meaning it will be that much more expensive. sigh

I guess my second favourite, more realistically obtained ship would be an explorer- I'm a traveller, after all! It would make sense that I should look for a ship specifically suited for better travelling. Perhaps one day I'll really start looking for one. Maybe I'll try and repair an old crashed one- I've helped others repair their ships, I think I'm quite skilled at it, ha. Ooh, maybe I could try and find a solar to repair?

As for what ship I currently have, I've had this beast of a hauler for a while now, which I'm more than happy with.

She looks a bit compact, but she's got excellent storage space, actually a bit better than some other certain haulers I've seen in and out of stations since I added a bit more available storage. Which, I definitely need that storage. Call it hoarding if you want, I like to call it sudden emergency collecting. My point is I keep a lot of miscellaneous things in my ship that I probably wouldn't be able to keep in any other ship. I suppose that's my only other legitimate reason for not buying a solar outside of money, I really do just need al that space. And physically, I could clear it out pretty easily, but not emotionally. Most of the old stuff in there are things that remind me of people I know. And, since I don't tend to keep to one base for very long, my ship is the best place for it! Also sometimes I sleep back there

Hey Kait, so what's your initial opinion on the Ssum? Personally I'm a bit underwhelmed by it, but it's not the fault of the game itself. It's just not my format tbh

I enjoy games with a definitive story and complex characters who get to interact with one another, and while it's highly possible there's more to the Ssum than meets the eye, I just do not find much joy in chatting with a single AI, even if Teo seems really realistic. Obey me is a good example, cause it has a ton of different features, but at the same time, it has many characters who each have a different story and share complex relationships with each other.

It's nice seeing everyone so excited and happy though :)

This is gonna be my thoughts so don't take it too seriously. It's just what I'm feeling right now. I'm happy if people are having fun and out here to explore a new game!

It's an overwhelming format with so much information thrown at you all at once that it makes it hard to understand what's going on and all the things that you need to do. It's not the kind of format I'm used to either, but I'm sure you could get used to it over time. You would just have to be committed to the process. But, it'd have to pull you in with a good hook. Is it doing that for me? No. It's not done it and I doubt it will.

I understand why Cheritz put in more ads and ways to pay for bonus content but I do not like the fact that you'll have to pay to download photos and other content when so much of that was free in Mystic Messenger. A lot of content in-game is clearly enhanced by the pay option and $19.99 a month isn't worth it in my eyes. It just puts this sour taste in my mouth about how the world shifted to "pay for little pieces of a game instead of paying a base price for everything."

I would rather pay Cheritz $50-100USD if need be for a full game to play if that's the case because $19.99 a month is $239.88USD a year. Who has that kind of money? For reference, I could literally buy the RFA Box, the Special Believer Box, and an emoji pillow for that price, including shipping.

Everyone has to get paid for working on a project like this, I am all for that, but at some point, certain options in F2P games wind up feeling predatory instead of straight-forward. Mystic Messenger has a great system for F2P. You pay to do chats faster, call without paying for the hourglass, and unlock cutesy bonus content. The SSUM has a lot of basic features with "buy more energy to get this!" You can feel that it isn't the same set-up.

Maybe I'm spoiled by Mystic Messenger in terms of what you can get for free but...

Hell, you can pay to get Dandelion and Nameless on Stream together for a decent price if you want to pay another Cheritz game without this money nonsense. If I am paying that much a freaking month to get content, I better be seeing Teo do all sorts of things for me all the time. I'd have to love Teo for that.

Teo has a personality that I'm not too sure about and I'm very picky about Otome characters. I need a hook to draw me in and he's not hit one immediately. I'm picky. I like a compelling universe where I have a cast of characters that I can find myself with and explore. Teo is one guy, and while he's got a mystery to unravel that I already have a lot of thoughts and theories on, I don't know if he'll be worth the effort to me at this point. That could change, though.

I play Obey Me and even though the Gacha system isn't the best for games, that one is very polite with you. It gives free pulls every one to two days, and there are means to unlock and get items without you having to pay unless you really want to do that. I feel like paying for content if it's an option shouldn't force you to pay for what should be standard. This is a problem with video games right now a lot so don't get me wrong, I'm not humming and hollering because The SSUM is doing this by itself.

I hate paying for DLCs and stuff in games that get patched in when I would happily wait a long time for a full game to come out. Like, ah, Sword and Shield for Pokemon, you have to pay for the Post-Game arc. You never had to do that before. You got it with the game and that was that. They held events to let you buy or pick up a code to get a legendary event, sure! But, that wasn't going to take away from the gameplay. It's just bonus.

I want people to get paid what they're due for making games but players shouldn't feel like they're being baited into paying for stuff. Video games are just different than they once were. It's a complicated thing and I don't really want discourse or debates right now since I'm just sharing my thoughts, lmao. So, I'll leave it at that.

I appreciate the interface, I like the art style and that the MC avatars in-game look so cute. There's potential in this game if you really want to look for it and find it. They put a lot of labor and time into this one game and I can appreciate that. It took a long time for a reason and I hope the mysteries of the game become unraveled soon.

I can't say I'll be super invested in The SSUM. I didn't think I'd be anyway, since the pay-to-play stuff didn't cut it for me. Teo just isn't a character that excites me. Who knows? He's just a guy. He might be your guy someday! He seems cute and cheeky. I'm just looking for a game with a lot of characters that I can love. Teo seems to be many characters in one but ah, I'll save those theories for later.

The one thing I can appreciate is that you can plug the RFA members into the game. [You can plug in everyone with a Route + Vanderwood, for some reason, Rika isn't an option.] I'll put my Ray, Unknown, and Saeran here.

how long does your muse have to know someone before they decide to ask them out?

I cannot really answer this question and do it justice because quite honestly? I do not think Beth has ever actually asked anyone out on a romantic date in all of her life.She was very sheltered in her upbringing, was given a nightmarish description about what sex and romance was about, and most of the time she's been given a 'proper' escort to many society and charity or political function though the Admiral or has attended these things with her brother. Adding to all of this is her inherent demisexuality and more importantly what is known as quoiromantic nature; she doesn't feel primary sexual attraction to really anyone, and only secondary attraction once she's established a deep emotional connection to the person. Her romantic attraction is wibbly-wobbly in the sense that for her, there are no real distinctions between romantic or platonic forms of love. Which one can understand can be awkward AF. There are several ships on this blog that have taken literal years to form, and I do mean real time, not story wise. Some have been very one-sided because while Beth might feel something, she will never really force herself onto someone else, if she even tells them at all. She also very firmly believes that if she ever uses the L word, then she's pretty much beginning a count down to when the other person will leave her. I think if the date was very upfront and platonic ~coffee with a friend, movie with a relative, some sort of event with a co-worker~ it's a lot easier for her not to get wound up in her deep-rooted insecurities and paranoia. She will more often than not insist on paying for whatever the date it, and likely her favourite things to do with someone else are dancing and surfing. Beth is very sweet, unquestionably loyal, and does her best to appear as bright, friendly, and soft as possible. She is exceptionally agreeable even if it ends up costing her time, energy, or mental/physical well-being. But it might take months or even years for her to realise she wants to date someone, and by then, the person ~if they were interested at all~ have moved on.

Oh geeze. I mean, I'd like to think I am pretty easy going as long as there's mutual respect happening between the other mun and myself. Notice, I say mun…because I don't mind writing toxic or questionable situations. Life happens, not every person you meet is a good one, at least for you, etc. But the bond between muns has to have solid foundations first and foremost before I will consider a ship much less attempt to write one out. Beth is a weird little bunny, after all. Things that could come up though is…

I. Writing nothing BUT nsfw material.

Look, like everyone else, naughty-times can be quite fun. Especially when you and your mutual have a good flow between them. But at the same time, if all I wanted to do was write 'smut', I could do fan-fiction and only have to worry about what makes me happy. I want slice of life! I want conflict and drama! I want serious moments and silly ones! She is a witch after all and in most verses, a nurse. There's life and death happening and she needs to be a part of it.

II. Using her to come at Riley.

Is Beth my gate-keeper for her technically canon sibling? Yes, yes she is. I have spent 8 years or so trying my best to flesh her out as a character, to give her a well-rounded back story, to make her the best character that I can. And in those years, I have been told by at least one person that "Your writing style and mine just aren't compatible" only for that same mun, a couple months down the line to find Riley and praise my writing, my character development and growth. All because he is a pretty man with a big….ego. And they were absolutely shocked when I pointed out that I. Am. The. Same. Mun. And the writing is the same except for the FC and the Pronouns. Now, I get it. Beth is an OC and a lot of people have had bad experiences with them. Not a lot of people want to write with one. Not a lot of people are interested in the amount of work I've put into her, want to ask questions, want to learn her as she and I are learning their interpretation of someone ELSE's OC…oops, I mean canon character. But that's no excuse to treat her like a joke just because her brother is more interesting, more…masculine…and more likely to crush every last feeling you or your muse ever had. Really, those are the two things I'm not willing to at least discuss.

Yes, I know. I don't feel that emptiness yet because I still have so much to catch up on but I know the feeling. Actually, I usually feel like that when an album drops and I listen to all the songs, watch the mv and then it hits me... Now what? Like I have been waiting for this, I was hyped for this with promo and teasers, and then it drops, I listen to it, and then... Then what. Obviously the promo starts again/continues but during those few hours between the album dropping and the first next promotion, I do feel that emptiness. Especially with a bias, it would feel a bit different I think? I was the most excited for Jimin since he is THE™ bias for me, and that emptiness really hit me after I listened to everything. I imagine that's also why you might feel like this? And it's not pathetic <3 I think it's nice that you find your source of happiness in them, and that they can make your day better <3 They do the same for me and I'm always so grateful that even on the days when I'm either crying or want to cry all day because of my anxiety or chronic headaches, they can still make me smile and feel a bit better.

Someone on twitter said the same thing, that it'll be bts vs bts and there was a reply that they are not even gonna be at award shows because they'll all be in military and I was like BOO 😭😭 stop reminding us of that. 💔

I ordered my album through a group order because I will not be paying for weverse shipping 😭 so I obviously couldn't apply for the raffle since I wasn't the one ordering, but I told my sister that even if I could apply and even if I won, I still wouldn't call him 😭 Like Jimin I love you to the moon and back but I will not be getting on a phone call with you. We always see just how fucking much they work for everything. He's literally lying on the practice room floor... It breaks my heart every time he talks about his muscle pain, which he had again during the dance practice... I will never forget that conversation between him and his trainer/medical person in one of the docus... As long as he is in this line of work, he will continue to have these problems. And it just breaks my heart because Jimin is a * dancer *. And his body can't handle him being a dancer. And I will never get over this, because one day he will have to say that it's too much for him, one day even he has to admit that he can't do it anymore. And I'm terrified that it's going to be sooner than he would like to admit it. I really don't want to sound like those people who always pretend to know what's best for them and manage them... I just really really feel bad for him every time he talks about this. He lived with this condition for years, and it'll probably get worse and I just hate it. He is a dancer with a body that can't handle dancing.

Anyway I didn't want to make myself sad but I always do akandndjsns at least I got Jikook holding hands for 13 hours today 💔 So yeah, I just wanted to say that he already works a LOT. And we know Jimin, he always gives his 613%. And that is exactly why he deserves every single praise and award and achievement. And hopefully more of those will come in the future 💜

For me I think that part is the most exciting because I keep listening to the songs and keep getting to know the song more (melody, lyrics, adlibs, etc) and then read the theories and see people point out some part of the song that they thought was so good and then to listen to the song and pay more attention to the part that the person mentioned, all of that small stuff, it makes me feel really excited. It's the time after when everything's over that I feel empty. So yeah like it can be different for every one. After Yoongi's album drops we dive straight into the tour a week later so I'm really glad that I'll have something to hang onto. I really really hope they have atleast one day for online streaming because I NEEEEED to see him one way or another 😭😭😭😭😭 I hope they have the show on 29th livestreamed because that'll be a holiday for me 😭 pls manifest ok? 😭 oh and same, although this has happened a lot of times now but last year I was just about to have a huge breakdown because of something at work and I was super anxious and on the verge of a horrible breakdown but jimin posted the picture that is my icon now and just like that I was smiling and my anxiety reduced by a LOT not even kidding 😭

Omg right... In my three years of stanning I JUST started posting on weverse and commenting on their lives like two weeks ago. I would NOT be able to handle a fancall i would not be able to show my face to jimin fjdkhffkrkhdkdk. Me and my friend joke about how we would probably walk in the opposite direction if we were to ever see bts in the wild (as in like at a restaurant in some foreign land or sth) fhfkjdkrkd.

JIKOOK <33333 you won't believe but when last week during the live jimin said that jungkook came to see him practice, i hoped for a second that maybe if we could get the practice video, but we've never usually gotten that unless it's for a concert or something. I have an anti Bram rant that is literally going through my head 24 hours a day.

First of all, in season 4 when Brittany said something about the "lesbian bloggers," I dont know if that was aimed at Brittana fans, like we would be mad that Brittany dated a guy. I want to clarify that I do not hate Bram because she was dating a guy, I just hated them.

• I mean the most obvious thing is that Brittany and Sam had absolutely 0% on screen chemistry, which is literally what Brittana was built on. Just something about Bram was so stiff and hard to watch. It's like Brittany looked miserable every scene she had with Sam. I don't know if that was an acting choice or if if was accidental, but it happened.

• Sam said that Santana never liked him because she knew he had a crush on Brittany. Which was a definite lie seeing as he had spent the entirety of season 3 obsessing over Mercedes and trying to break up her and her boyfriend.

• I shouldn't really view Bram as a threat because they weren't. I mean Sam vs Santana, the choice is obvious. I always saw it as like the ad break during your favourite show, usually people go on their phones and pay no attention to the tv during the commercial break. It's an inconvenience because it interrupts your favourite show (Brittana) but it is a thing that had to happen and it is inevitable that the show will come back on afterwards.

• I know this is mean but I don't think Chord Overstreet is that good of an actor. I know this is an unpopular opinion so I'm sorry. His acting was always cringey to me, even in season 2, he just seemed boring.

Just everything about it seemed so wrong to me and every time they come on the screen I turn the tv way down and go on Instagram to look at pictures of Naya Rivera 😂.

I'm trying to get over it and not be such a drama queen because they are fictional. Also if they seemed like a better fit then I would be in a way worse situation, however, because every scene they were in together was dead and the acting/chemistry was awful it's not too bad.

I am still and out and proud Bram hater, and I will not deny it to anyone that asks me.

Ps. Santana has better abs than Sam.

I approach Bram from a bit of a different pov but I always love an anti Bram rant so cheers, I'll drink to all this. That stupid joke was indeed aimed at Brittana fans, as far as I know, and that makes me want to commit violent crimes.

Maybe it could have worked as an okay midgame ship but everything about its execution was just so skin crawl-worthy, from the "jokes" aimed at fans (punching down much?) to the writers' only tool being bringing other relationships down to elevate Bram because they weren't willing to put any actual effort into it. They threw Samcedes just as much under the bus as Brittana and that's just so nasty.

Much love to Hemo and nothing against Chord but neither were what I'd call the best actors on the show, or even particularly... good, in general. I think Hemo was better than she often gets credit for and improved immensely in both singing and acting, but that stiffness could very well come from both being on the weaker end of acting. Just what happens when there's no Naya to sell the story, I'm afraid. And little to zero effort on the script's part. This isn't a huge factor in why I personally dislike them as a couple but a noteworthy point anyway.

You're in good company with the anti Bram sentiment. I don't care about them that much but I'm (kinda) currently rewatching season 4 and some of it is hard to sit through. They're just annoying lol. Most midgames I just don't care for (except for Wildebrams!!! justice for them) but Bram was actively hostile against fans and that's what pisses me off the most. Ryan Murphy chose violence by punching down so I won't hesitate to shit on this frustrating pairing. I also dislike it when people hate on Bram because they just hate Brittany and think Sam deserved better but that's another topic entirely lmao.

It fucking baffles me how there are antis in the Rick and Morty fandom. Why tf are you even here?? Have you even seen the show??? It's not exactly a wholesome fucking watch. Rick is the farthest thing from a good person, and Morty ain't exactly a sweet angel boy, either. Rick has quite literally destroyed civilizations (including his own), and both these mfs have killed a shit ton of people and aliens (some who did shit all to deserve it), but you're mad that people irl ship them?? Just shut the fuck up.

Nobody in this show is what's considered a good person. Nobody. They either have toxic traits, or are just straight up toxic af. But that's the fucking point. This show isn't meant to be Steven fucking Universe, ffs. It's an Adult Swim cartoon that's about an old alcoholic asshole of a scientist and his horny naive 14 year old grandson who go on or get sucked into dangerous adventures every episode. So if you're gonna be that pressed about people shipping them, or literally any other characters together, then maybe you should stop watching the show entirely, since everything that's said and done is SO far from being the "uwu I love my family and feel nothing but wholesome love for them" good morals that you fantasize every show and movie catering to.
