it was suggested that giann’s lack of a sprite may allude to him having lost his memory and you had raised the possibility of giann wanting to lose his memory. i’m curious as to why you had thought so 👀

you're right, i did suggest that giann could've wanted his memory erased! now, here's the thing: i guess i can say this is a theory within a theory. this is kinda relating to my giann is a filthy mastermind theory in which giann fakes his own kidnapping in order to hide from... someone idk. but his best chance at survival is hiding.

now, we know dr. richter is capable of hypnosis. this practice can suggest the mind to do different things, it's how some people are able to quit smoking, break phobias, or just change their behavior. (consult ur doctor to see if hypnosis is right for u lmaooo that's my legal disclaimer here). in popular media, at least, hypnosis fucks with your memory. if we take the bit in the giann is a mastermind theory, the one where he's hiding in plain sight at the giannovyn mental research center, then it makes sense for him to get his memory wiped. he's out of the playing field, might as well make sure that he stays out until vyn is ready to bring him back into play (as per a mutual agreement. you can't hypnotize someone into doing something they don't wanna do.)

alas, as you've said, it's been a while since this theory was posted. what are my thoughts now? well, it's not looking pretty, people. so: giann is one of the only people without a sprite that is important to the story. take marius' personal story 4: the main perpetrator of the impersonation was someone who's sprite was introduced that same chapter. giann was introduced in a flashback via marius' rrg card. so, following this logic: i don't think giann is going to get a sprite. i feel like he's dead. galena does a really good job as breaking down why she thinks giann is dead in the post you linked (and i shall also link here) and after a good chunk of the year and how i see the story progression going, i stand firmly with galena on this one.

theres also a thing i've been thinking about related to this and ironically, the fic i'm writing. galena, in her post, talks about how memory is an important part of the game, and also links this post by zak about memory. why is this important specifically? because of the effects of the nxx drug/flora x/X03A. i have a running theory on luke being affected by the drug which then leads to his illness, and in his anni card it states that it's neurological. it checks with how the drug itself works: "It affects the brain in many different ways. In children still developing it causes delays in growth. In adults, it makes them unstable, prone to depression or other mental ails." (that's,,, a quote for the fic i'm writing LMAOO) so who's to say the drug doesn't cause memory loss? what if giann is afflicted with the same stuff luke has, only it's worse on him? that the reason he doesn't have a sprite is because he lost himself?

*shrug* there's a lot of things that it could be. the theory holds up if you look at it through that lens, but i'm more inclined to say that they offed giann. after all, that makes for more conflict in the nxx and sometimes conflict drives the story. it all depends on your point of view.

Ohkay, oh my god, I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume these aren't my own fics bcz besides the ones I wrote back in like 2018, I only have 3 out, and one isn't even finished jnbhvghbjbh

I'm also gonna limit myself to RDR2 ones bcz how many of yall are here for Drarry and Klance fic recs these days anyway?? I thought so, lmao, SO

1) OBVIOUSLY I have to start out with Faithless, by my dear friend Necromantic AKA @absolutedisaster69 !!! RDR2, Charthur, Unreliable Narrator, still ongoing, and REALLY FUCKED UP SO FAR, I am simply in LOVE with it okay. If you're looking for a completely different take on Charthur, and the VDL gang as a whole, this is IT!! AND, lol, if you look through the comment section of that fic you WILL find me in there analysing the shit out of nearly every chapter, it's WILD and I'm WILDIN'!!

2) Is one I genuinely think needs more attention -- Burn Like Whiskey Flames by Lysandra_Lewis AKA @ithinkthiswasabadidea is still my FAVORITE MacSummers fic to date. Imagine me, STARVED for content, going into the Sean/Lenny tag only to find this TREASURE of a fic buried among fics that only really list them as a sidepair. It is funny, and wholesome, and so sweet it will rot your TEETH out. It's Francesca's only RDR2 fic and it is a GIFT to the fandom, okay, and thusly SEVERELY underappreciated. When Sean comes into the lodge and starts "wooing" Lenny? Bro I've read this fic so many times and I am STILL giggling and blushing EVERY TIME!!!! They are SO dumb, and I'm genuinely obsessed with them and this fic okay!!!!

3) I mean, come on, we've all read Lost Country by iridian(ryehouses here on tumblr), right? If you haven't, it's Charthur, and don't be fooled by the coffee shop au tag because there is SO much more to this fic. It's been a while since my last readthrough of it, and I'm nearing a point where I'll want to reread again for sure, but I'll leave you with my bookmark comment to give you an idea of how I feel about this fic: "this fic changed me irrevocably. i was and am obsessed with everything about this fic. i listened to the playlist for months. certain songs still make me go feral. ill never forget how this fic made me feel." DEFINITE recommend, always!!

Can’t believe I am doing this but I need to analyse this and point some things out some people brush over or twist around...

I am watching this as someone who doesn’t know much about the novel and has a neutral stance on the whole Gram/Black/Eugene triangle. I am taking it as it is without much expectations (I have some hopes but it’s not my story).

I don’t know about yall but Eugene does look like she’s considering Grams feelings. She has his doll on her bag now. Like she said she needs time, maybe she thought it over. She didn’t really say no to him the last time, she just said she needs some time alone after the breakup with Black.

And the dancing was pretty close till Black showed up.

Black sure doesn’t look happy about the whole thing but he has bigger problems. He’s not even mad. I mean he broke up with her, so she can be with whoever she wants. He literally told her to not waste her time on waiting for him. The fact that it’s his best friend might be a bit bitter... and the minimal tension between Gram and Black in this whole scene is suspicious.

It feels like he kind of leaves her to Gram, since he thinks he doesn’t come back alive. So she’s better with him (sounds familiar to the previous situation with Gram not butting in between Black and her dating, thinking she’s better with Black)

But Black obviously still loves Eugene. Otherwise he wouldn’t ask for her last hug before he goes on his mission.

I am not sure what Black means with “If you’re sure you can stand it.” when Gram demands to stay during the talk with Eugene. Is it because of Grams feelings for Eugene or because Black basically says goodbye forever and sounds super suic*dal? From Grams POV this talk can also sound like a final breakup but contradicts with the hug and kiss.

Friendly reminder that Gram doesn’t know what’s going. All he knows is Black pushed Eugene away the past months, mainly ignored both of them and didn’t care about her feelings AFTER Black contacted her again and gave her new hope just to leave her again. He doesn’t know it was White at this point.

Black looks lost and sad after Gram pushed him away when he tried to kiss Eugene. But he doesn’t look at any of them. This is the point where he starts feeling the twin connection.

Which is interesting, because it is BEFORE White drowns himself. But Their emotions are pretty much the same. Almost like they synchronized (and due to the tent scene we know they can connect due to emotions as well, not just from physical pain). They both feel lost, alone and ready to get harmed for the cause in that moment.

Unlike some people here say, Gram doesn’t just stand there when Black chokes, he tries to help him together with Eugene??

He even helps him up afterwards??

Tell me he doesn’t look worried and confused after Black says this to Eugene and runs off??

The next day Gram sees “him” when he comes to the gang together with Sean, looking fine, talking about actually being Blacks twin brother named White.... Gram doesn’t know that not all previous Black interactions were with White, that Black came back inbetween. He also had the hardest time to believe the whole twin-swap.

I agree that the twin reveal scene feels a bit disconnected and too lighthearted in relation to the rest of the episodes events. And that might be the main issue here. Maybe they tried to end the episode on light note instead of angst or it should have happened at a different point in the timeline. The scenes purpose was to show that they accept White and don’t have a grudge against him for lying all the time. But there is no way they will ignore Blacks absence and him being in danger the next episodes.

Regarding Grams sexuality, since I saw people calling him hetero... he lowkey flirts with White here and he highkey flirted with “Black” (White) in that one episode in his room... also this: (link)

(imo something like pansexual still makes more sense internationally, maybe some translation differences in Thai language/culture? Since the topic is sexuality and not identity but that seems to get mixed in some cases in Thai? SOGIE is basically just another acronym for a LGBTq movement including all variations of sexualities + identities)

That’s how I see it for now. I guess / hope we will get more puzzle pieces the next episodes 🤷‍♂️

Why WW3 Jokes Are Terrible

So if you have been literally anywhere on the internet in the last two weeks, you’ll have been exposed to a lot of WW3 jokes. The hashtag started trrending on twitter - the point is that it’s blown up, and WW3 is the hot comedic topic of the moment. 

For context, this all started after a US drone airstrike killed one of Iran’s military leaders, Qassem Soleimani. This strike was approved by Donald Trump, and many are seeing it as a declaration of war, and therefore as the start of WW3. 

That’s what lead to a huge amount of WW3 jokes circulating online, and I want to outline my problems with them.

Firstly, the major themes in these jokes is the reintroduction of the draft. The draft was abolished in America in 1973 by President Nixon, who hoped to squash the anti-war movement, as he thought middle class protesters only cared about the Vietnam War because they didn’t want to be drafted or have their friends drafted (that’s not relevant, but historical context is helpful). Now, there has been rumblings about bringing back the draft for the past five years or so, but there is no actual evidence that this is going to happen.

 So for the draft to come back, what would need to happen? It would need to pass through Congress, with the majority voting in favour of it. President Trump would also have to finalise the process by approving the draft.

 If the draft came back, what would happen? Firrstly, would women be included in the draft? As of a recent federal court ruling, women not being in the draft would be unconstituional. However, this doesn’t mean that women would be included in the draft, because as we’ve seen the currrent administration has no problem with doing things that are unconstituional. So we know that women and men would be involved in the draft and the draft usually composess of people age 18-26. However, the system by which people are selected for military service is unkonown. Many different systems have been used in US military history.It usually starts with everyone (or all men) in the selected age range registering for the draft. What happens next is a different matter.It could involve local draft boards reviewing those registered and deciding who and wouldn’t be drafted (as it was at the start of the Vietnam War), or it could be a lottery system, where birthdays are drawn out in the same way as other lotteries, and those registered and born on those days would be drafted (as it was to the end of the Vietnam War). The draft was used during Americcan Civil War, WW1, WW2, The Korean War and The Vietnam War in America, and each time it was slightly different, so we have no idea how the draft would work if it was introduced again today. 

But back to the jokes. I’m going to say this once. The Draft Is Not Funny. It’s not a quirky topic for you to make a tiktok about. It’s conscription. It’s a system that has always been biased, regularly calling POC, working class people and rural workers to serivce, and allowing the upper classes, the wealthy and those in positions of power to escape, claiming that they have bone spurs in their foot (no shade Donald). It’s not funny, and there’s no concrete proof that it’s going to be reintroduced.

 Also, a slight sub genre of jokes about the draft I’ve seen are people saying they would revert back to stereotypes if the draft was reintroduced. For example, young girls saying that they would rather simply become a housewife and a mother to avoid the draft, or gay people saying that they don’t think they should get rid of the clause in the draft that says homosexuals cannot be drafted, as it would help them avoid being drafted. It is horrendous that it is considered funny in our society to accept and welcome opression rather than fight against the draft, a biased and militarisitc system. Seriously, would go rather “know your purpose” as a glorified dishwasher, baby-maker and sex toy (in reference to a popular TikTok) than fight against the draft? It makes me sad that this is how my generation has been socialised.

My second problem is the least relevant, hence why I am only going to devote a small paragraph to it. We do not know if this war with Iran (which may happen) will be WW3. WW3 may have already happened. Are any of the conflicts that have happened acorss the world since 1945 going to be considered WW3 by historians in the future? We don’t know. WW1 and WW2 are terms that were not used during those wars. They are historical terms applied after the event, so we cannot say that this is going to be WW3, when we have no idea if a) it has already happened or not, or b) how historians will view this conflict that has arisen between America and Iran. Calling it WW3 only serves to dramatise the events ocurring.

A slightly more personal topic for my third problem. I have had severe anxiety surrounding “end of the world” type situations/jokes/news reports my whole life. I am also (un dx) autistic, meaning I struggle to understand when these things which may be jokes are jokes. Instead, I assume that they are peoples actual predictions of what is going to happen. As you can imagine, going on the interent this year has caused me to have a lot of anxiety and panic. With a WW3 joke on every meme account I follow, a refference to WW3 in every YouTube video I watch and every other TikTok I watch being about the draft, the interent is currently a minefield of anxietyr. I look at the wrong thing, and boom I’m having a panic attack. Now this is only my personal experience, Think of how other people with anxiety may be feeling at this time. Think of how other people with doomsday phobias may be feeling. Think of how other autistic people may be feeling. Now these may be cute quriky jokes to you and your neurotypical friends, but for many of us, they are seriously affeecting our mental health. But of course, most of you would disregard how those who are neurodivergent or with mental illnesses feel to get your TikTok about the end of the world trending.

Please consider us, and how these “jokes” are affecting us.

Fourthly (I know, I’ve got a lot of problems with this), I’m going to be talking about the astounding levels of priveledge that western teens have to be making these jokes online. The jokes are usually made by Americans, and I know it’s happening a lot in England too (as that’s where I live), but I don’t know about other western countries. A tweet from (@shraywavy) sums it up well:

“priveledged ass americans making this all ab them/ making jokes is completely absurd, how can yall belittle this situation when multiple brown ppl are about to be killed/displaced n the entire region is ab to be completely destroyed due to continuous imperialist agression”

Americans may find this funny. Americans may find WW3 jokes hilarious. Here’s the thing  - they need to examine their priveledge. They will be okay. Everyday Americans will be okay. Yes, people in the military will die. I think that is horrific, I think that anyone who is coerced by Republican propoganda into volunteering in this war that may happen is a victim, and I feel awful for anyone who loses a relative or friend in this war, if it happens. I will go on to talk about the treatment of American troops in this post. But the majority of US civilians will be fine.  Your country will not be invaded, or bombed. No one will destroy your cultural landmarks. Buildings around you won’t collapse and there won’t be fighting in the streets. Those things may very well happen to Iranian people. And you’re making a joke about it? It is not funny. The spilt blood of good people, people who did nothing wrong is not a joke. How much priveledge and ignorance does it take for you to think making a joke about this  situation when in reality it will not have that much of an impact on your life?

You may think I’m being overdramatic, linking memes to the deaths that may happen. But I’m not. If you make a WW3 joke. You are saying that this situation is a joke. That this situation is funny. Jokes are supposed to be funny. This situation may very well lead to death and destruction in Iran. And that’s funny to you? The majority of people making and liking WW3 jokes obviosuly do not endorse the confliict with Iran. They don’t want Iranian people to die. In fact,  the whole WW3 jokes movement has an anti-war undertone. But you need to think about the implications of the media that you create and consume.

Now, there has already been some backlash against these jokes online. I’m not the first one. Many people have come back at the backlash, saying that these jokes are a coping mechanism for the genuine fears they have about a war. As a big advocate for those with anxiety (and as a person with anxiety and with a lot of weird coping mechanisms), I don’t want to bash people’s coping mechanisms. I just want to analyse them.

Firstly, what is a coping mechanism? A coping mechanism is  an adaptation to environmental stress that is based on conscious or unconscious choice and that enhances control over behavior or gives psychological comfort, as defined by dictionary.com. What is the environmental stress here? The impending conflict with Iran. What is the choice you make to give yourself control or to physcologically comfort yourself? Making a joke. 

Now there is evidence both for and against the idea that humour is a good coping mechanism. There are plently of articles and pieces of research on Google Scholar about black humour as a coping mechanism that I would reccomend you check out.  Personally, I am of the belief that humour can be used a coping mechanism. It’s dicassosiation from the problem. The question is, what is the problem? You’re afraid of the conflict with Iran. Of what might happen. Now it is unlikely that any direct action will be taken against US domestic territories, so I don’t think fear of your everyday life being disrupted comes underneath this. *If it does, please tell me. This entire post is based on my assumptions and I want to be challenged if you feel differently to what I say. 

I personally find ignoring the problem the best coping mechanism in this situation. I will still be politically active about the fact that Trump alone seems to have declared war on Iran, but I need time-out from it to  cope. I want to know from the people that are using these jokes to cope specifically what they are afraid of. I  turned to Instagram for this, but if you want to tell me on here then that’d be helpful (I am aware that no-one is going to read this fucking huge post but still). An instagram acccount (@sapphic.in) reposted a tweet from (@uhhhhmad) which read:

“stop saying ur making memes about war as a “coping’ method every single one of you will be fine the people of iraq and iran will continue to suffer u people have nothing to be fucking coping for”

The comments underneath the instagram retweet of this post don’t really explain what people are afraid of (this post had a series of other posts on it so not all the comments are about this particular tweet). A few people refrenced being afraid of their boyfriend or brothers etc. (basically men they know elidgble for the draft)  being drafted. There are some comments which basically say “it’s a joke calm down liberal”, and if you need me to explain why “it’s just a joke” is a terrible justification for anything, tell me and I’ll explain. But back to the fear of relatives being drafted.

 There is no proof that the draft is coming back. In fact, the only reaso that people are afraid of the draft coming back IS BECAUSE OF THESE JOKES. They are the primary soure of media that all of us are consuming about the situation. They mainly refrence the draft - so everyone thinks the draft is coming back. Then larger news outlets pick up on the fact thatt the draft coming back is a hot topic - not politcially but in teen-created media, so they make media about it. They make it sound as real or as serious as they want - American news outlets have no obligation to tell the truth, and they have a motivation not to (they are businesses, so if they make drastic headlines about the draft people will read them and watch them and they will get more money). So suddenly because of these jokes about the draft coming back everyone thinks that there is a eerious threat of the draft coming back so they need the jokes about the draft coming back to cope?

This leads into my final big problem, but before I go onto that, I’d like to ask anyone who has a family memeber, relative, partner, friend of a friend etc. serving in the US military in the areas where this conflict is happenning (and where this war might happen), how do these jokes make you feel? Honestly, I want to know. I have no idea if they help you to cope or if they make you more afraid, as I have no relatives in the military so I don’t know how it feels.

My final big problem is that these jokes are the primary source of media that people are consuming about this situation. Does everyone read the news etc., making sure they know the latest on what’s going on? I know I don’t. I’m not commenting on the situation though. I’m commenting on the memes, and beleive me I’ve seen A LOT of them. So we rely on the memes etc. to be our informant. That could potetntially leave us well informed, but it doesn’t. Who’s making these memes? Is it journalists, politcial correspondents, military spokespeople, anyone really who works in the military or politics or who knows what’s happening? No, it’s not. It’s teens just like you and me who have no real clue beyond the headlines and the instagram posts what is happening. We’ve created this media hysteria. What do you look at more? The memes/jokes/tiktoks or news articles about it? How the hell are we supposed to stay reasonably informed and take anti-war action when the source of information we use is people making memes because they think they’re funny who have no real idea what’s going to happen next. Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but this is really distracting us from what’s really happening. What the US gvernment is actually doing. These jokes may be anti-war but they are helping those who are pro-war immensely.

The people who do serve in this war will not be positively affected. The American government doesn’t care about the troops. The people who will lose the person in their family who provides them with income in this war will not be cared for by the US. The people who get injured in this war will be victims of the poor veterans healthcare system. The people who get PSTD from this war will be mocked and ignored. Most pro-war people like Trump couldn’t give a flying fuck about the troops and the ordinairy people they’ll affeect. So please don’t make jokes about getting drafted. People who lost people to wars aren’t laughing. People who got drafted in Vietnam or Korea aren’t laughing. Serving in the millitary can have horrific consequences. It’s not funny to make a joke about being forced into that situation.

Finally, I’d like to refrence a tweet by (@eclipsecassette). It’s about the impact that this war may have if it happens. 

“this war will likely bring another wave of islamophobia and xenophobia against anyone visibly brown just like after 9/11 so we should probably worry about that more than getting drafted”

They’re right. We don’t know what this war will bring but know that it cannot bring good. It will bring more xenophobia disguised as nationalism. It will bring more violence and hate crimes. It will bring veterans left injured and in poverty. It will bring destruction to Iran. It will make our world a much worse place. That’s why I say no to war with Iran, and I say no to making a joke out of it.

However, I am just a white teenager living in Britain who’s never experienced war, never known anyone who’s experienced war. Please tell me if I’ve said anything factually incorrect or if you disagree with anything I’ve said. I want to be as well informed on this topic as I can. Also, if I used your tweet in here and you want me to take it out I will. If you’ve got to this point, thank you so much for reading this.

hi friends !! -- below the cut i’ve written a few things about myself and about poppy. i’ll be posting a link to a more detailed bio & plots/connections page once i get those setup, but for now, this post will have to do !!

hey so my name is kass -- i’m a 23yo freshly graduated college student who has no idea what to do with her life lol. i work for the most part of my day but i’m always mobile and i always love chatting on the im/discord even if its not about our characters. my timezone is EST & my pronouns are she/her. 

i freaking loveee cats and ive got a lil 4mo kitten named pepper and two 6yo cats named bijou and mistoffelees. i love disney and harry potter -- normally i only rp hp on tumblr but i’ve taken such a long break from the rp community that i thought a chilled school rp would be a great place to start. 

i’m moving in two weeks to a completely different state to restart my life & take back a job i previously had in florida, so that’s going to take up a bit of my time but i will still make time to rp because its such an important hobby and escape for me. if you want to get to know me more i’m always around to chat! i’d love to learn more about yall x

on the other hand, there’s poppy who is nothing like me and tbh sometimes i wish we were similar because she’s def more secure & confident in herself and her work (tea). she is truly passionate about her writing and will do anything to catch something inspirational enough for a story. in her mind, she views it as a collection of emotions -- the people she comes in contact with, whether good or bad relationships, those feelings she develops are the keystones for her creativity. so interactions with everyone is always important to her and her mind is always working. writing about what you know is always easier than writing about what you don’t -- so she learns as much as she can about someone or about human interaction in general based off of the relationships she develops. 

she is ambitious and fights for what she believes in, which does (and will) get her in trouble. she likes to over-analyse and sometimes thinks too critically, which is contradicting seeing as she’s a creative writer who hopelessly believes in a lot of things without reason. she’s just a bundle of mess that i haven’t fully sewn together, but i’m trying to build her as i go. but of course, writing isn’t the only thing she is passionate about. poppy is just very sentimental, and i think this obsession with analysing stems from her want to just understand and know people better, not for personal gain but for acceptance. 

poppy trent is 22, she’s a sophomore at eastwood majoring in writing. she loves coffee more than anything, is always in over-sized grandpa sweaters that look itchy but are actually comfy, and presses flowers and leaves between pages of books and forgets about them. she took piano lessons for a while as a child but isn’t as skilled as she used to be. sometimes she can play a tune or two. her fingertips are always smudged with ink or her palm stained with the lead from pencils. & she loves being outdoors, especially in the california sun. the weather is different from what she’s used to.

Im about to have a full on analysis, so this is gonna be a long ass post, I just love talking and analysing things in depth and read more still doesnt exist on mobile so ignore this if yah like!!!

I guess one of the reasons why MBJ as Superman doesn't work for me is because, purely based on his filmography, in most of his roles Jordan does this particular thing I'm going to try my best to describe that weirdly to me doesn't fit Superman.

Idk if y'all have ever noticed but what makes MBJ such a good effective actor is that he plays his roles with this almost familiar air. He finds this kind of perfect link within a character to make you go "oh I know a guy like that", "oh damn I'm a little like that", or "I'm seeing echoes of people I know like that" and it very effective in getting you to connect with the characters and feel invested in their journey. Like most actors play their parts and you're like "yeah this a movie, thats a great character I LIKE him" but like Jordan finds THE perfect trait of humanity in characters, whether thats their anger, their passion, their hurt, etc. that makes his audience want to latch on. But in addition to that he has almost a casualness to it too which is the best part about it, like even Killmonger had that thing going on, it doesnt FEEL unbelievable or removed from human emotion or reality, its feels realistic, it feels like it exists on this plane if that makes sense?

He's too familiar. Superman to me growing up felt like this character who weighed a lot and felt seperate from other superheros. A lot of superheroes have greatness thrust upon them, but Superman is BORN great. What makes him so interesting is his duality, there is the man who learned from humanity and the man who teaches humanity, but ultimately these dualities add up to one thing: Superman is humanity at its absolute best if it would only learn from its mistakes the way he does.

He is the closest to perfect one can get, not to say that he IS perfect, but that he is close. His sense of responsibility, his absolute nobility, his resolute sense of morality, his kindness and empathy set Superman in a league of his own. It ultimately makes him inhuman, because human beings have the capability to be THAT close to goodness but they do not posses the quality of embracing failure and pain to learn and adapt into being better people that Superman has. There isn't familiarity in that, Superman exists in a different plane than humanity because his goodness is THAT great. And there is a lonliness in that, a kind of isolation, I don't know if I'd categorize it as a socal, emotional, or spiritual isolation but its definitely one islolated from humanity. Like sure he has relationships with people but there, at least to me always exists a separation between Superman and his friends.

So point being I think MBJ's acting is too tied to realistic humanity and everything that comes with it, I don't know if he'd be able to shake that OR I shake that for it to really connect. The other being that I really don't want MBJ's rise or his building repuation as a good actor and a reason to buy a ticket to get burnt out, especially in the superhero market. Yall know how when people over saturate certain actors in the market you get a little tired of them (OR BIG FUCKING EXHAUSTED OF THEM, looking at whoever shoved Jennifer Lawrence down our fucking throats)? That's what I mean. Personally I think the part should be either given to a completely new black talent who can really grip on to that kind of characterization of Superman, OR someone who's already out there ready for their big break who can also do that.

But like tbh this whole ass analysis is pointless cause I mean who knows the quality of whatever WB churns out as a superman script, you could have the world's greatest fucking actor but they couldn't save shit from a terrible script lmaaaooo so anyway imma shut up now.....
