Once Upon A Time... Or Not! Once upon a time, in a kingdom far away, a school called Ever After High. There, princes, princesses, villains, heroes and characters from fairy tales were getting ready to live their magical, exciting legends that were repeated the same way for each generation. But now it's time for a different class of students, a more challenging one. By the courage of one of them, everyone will be able to choose their destiny - whether it be a Rebel and write a new story or stay a Royal and relive the path of their parents. Or even change your mind halfway through! - Exactly! What matters is that for Ever After High students, nothing is impossible anymore! - Now it's your turn. Turn the page... and choose your destiny!

- You were rude... We didn't even introduce ourselves! - Oh yes! Well, we are the narrators. - Hey, don't forget about me! - Oh, and this is our daughter, Brooke. - Much pleasure!!!

The concepts of devilish villain and helpless girl are in check in the current generation of Ever After High. The greatest rivalry in fairy tales, between Snow White and Evil Queen, just doesn't happen with their daughters. They are practically friends!

Raven Queen Despite having inherited the power to do destructive magic, Raven Queen has a kind heart. Of course, her mother and her teachers encourage her to be a villain, but that is not in her character. Raven would like to write a happier destiny for her story.

My friend has more talent for being a pop star than being a bad guy! How fantastic!

Apple White Apple White is destined to rule the most important kingdom and live happily ever after with her Prince Charming. She has all the skills to be a great leader, interference to rule, wealth to spare, stunning beauty and unstoppable popularity! - Oops, a correction. She has ALMOST everything! The certainty of this perfect future is still lacking... For those who think that governing is spending the day sitting in a chair, a reminder: being a princess is a high-risk and hard-working task!

Legacy Day Legacy Day is the most important moment for the heirs of fairy tales, when they claim that they will live the same fate as their parents. Or not. This year, all certainties are put in check! Some students decide to leave the following of a life already traced and allow themselves the freedom to make their own paths. Ever After High is forever changed after this line: "I’m Raven Queen and I will write my own destiny. My happy ever after starts now!" Even under the threat of disappearing, Raven takes courage, denies her legacy as Evil Queen, and inspires other students to become Rebels.

Raven's release and Apple's despair. Imagine seeing your perfect future in danger! The defenders of traditions - those who have a "happily ever after" in their stories - become the group of Royals. Now Ever After High is divided. It is not a separation between good and bad, princes and subjects, heroes and villains. It's a break between those who want to live a new fairy tale and those who prefer to repeat traditional stories.

Okay, there was this division and all that. Just to make it clear we keep chatting, having parties, hanging out together etc, etc, etc.

- What perhaps few people have realized is that everyone has options and choices to make. Including that of being neither Royal or Rebel! - Or to be both!

Adolescence at Ever After High is a time of expectations, compromises, apprenticeships, and... parties! In charge of the action there are Briar Beauty and Madeline Hatter - the funniest, most charismatic and energetic girls the school has ever known!

Ha, ha, ha! Is this how everyone sees us? Hat-astic!

Briar Beauty As a figlia of Sleeping Beauty, Briar must sleep for 100 years until being kissed by her prince. So while she's awake, she has no time to waste! Her motto is: "if you're a Royal, you live every day intensely!" - Except when she falls asleep out of nowhere, right?

Madeline Hatter Maddie is unpredictable as her father, the Mad Hatter from Wonderland. With her, a simple walk in the forest can turn into a crazy party! And everything around her seems to defy logic, especially inside the Mad Hatter’s Tea Shop.

Speaking of that, we can take a break because it's time for a cup of tea! I want a tangerine! - She's crazy, isn't she? Yes, I am, thanks for noticing it!

Two woodland girls, Cerise Wood and Ashlynn Ella come from very different origins. While Cerise has inherited a secret from Little Red Riding Hood's story that makes her a rebel from birth, Ashlynn is Cinderella's daughter and a royal by definition...

Ever After High Being a hero or a villain of a fairy tale is a difficult task that requires precise skills and a lot of learning. That's why our future protagonists study at Ever After High, the only high school that teaches everything from Princesology and Hero Training to Advanced Illusions and Domestic Villainy. - Mom, I reaaaally want to go there! - No way, Brooke! Your job is to tell the stories. No appearing in one! - Hmm! Maybe I'll become a rebel then!

The Professor Rumpelstilskin is determined to make students do poorly on exams, he just doesn't know that the current generation is way smarter! He's going to need some lessons in how to screw with students. The powerful Madam Yaga has more years of knowledge than she has of life! I think now you can understand how she became so knowledgeable. Excitement is the Professor Jack B. Nimble's central ingredient. He loves dramatically exaggerated stories!

Students run, do gymnastics and even sleep in school. It's a coexistence so intense that it causes confusion, like future rivals becoming roommates and impossible couples falling in love! Well if something is still impossible in this story. It must be a nuisance for the Professor Pied Piper to attract dozens of mice every time he tries to teach a class... As responsible for school safety and discipline, Sir Big Bad Wolf has convincing arguments for put the kids in line!

Charades Giles Grimm, brother of Headmaster Milton Grimm, is centuries old and traveled many lands before founding Ever After High. Because of a curse, he lives hidden in the Cave of Lost Tales, a secret library under the school, and only speaks Riddlish, a strange language from Wonderland. With his magic mirror, he stays on top of everything that happens.

"A king who sings with pages of the sky is very afraid of dawn eating a pastel." Let me translate because this is getting really confusing! He said there's something wrong with the Storybook of Legends and, even if Raven won't sign it, her story will go on.

"If the entrance to the bear's den is open so wide, do you think it's possible to change an elephant?" When she also becomes co-president, Maddie makes the students sick! Do you know what the secret to speaking Riddlish without fear is? Make a meaningless sentence and leave everyone lost. How about trying? You just have to win!

C.A. Cupid C.A. Cupid is the daughter of Eros, the God of Love in Greek mythology, and therefore has nothing to do with fairy tales. But the school needs a little help... Cupid doesn't intend to cast any love spells, so he encourages people to listen to their hearts. Not to mention that, with those wings and the arrow-shaped heel, she renews Ever After's arsenal of fashion accessories!

Ginger Breadhouse Ginger Breadhouse is marked by the stigma of her mother, the Wicked Witch of the Forest, who lured Hansel and Gretel with a house made of sweets. Ginger has inherited her cooking skills, but she just wants to cook the best treats for everyone!

Cedar Wood Cedar Wood is not a princess, but she taught the greatest lesson in beauty! She was the one who shared what needed to be said in fairy tales: being pretty is not the most important thing. The beauty is in being smart, graceful and in character. Good thing Pinocchio's heiress is enchanted to just tell the truth, right?

Rapunzel had twin daughters: Poppy and Holly O'Hair. By the hair you can tell who wants to inherit their mother's story, right? - Hey, there's something wrong there. In fact, Poppy is the heiress, because she is older! It's okay, twins always find a way to confuse others... After all, they don't have to tell anyone that their birth certificates were switched. On Apple's birthday, Blondie tastes a piece of Raven's apple cake and... becomes a phoenix! Worse, it made Briar, who, in addition to putting the transforming potion in the cake, still falls under her own spell!

Why instead of falling asleep for 100 years is Briar playing Raven's role? I bet the Evil Queen has something to do with this! The hostess of the party shows that she knows how to mix different patterns of prints! Kitty is pure sophistication with this beautiful side bun adorned with a hat clip. Raven and Briar rock the outfits with their favorite colors! And Raven has super stylish bangs! Pearl necklace with a polka dot print make Apple charming. Hmm, I hadn't imagined that mustard-colored streaks would look so good on Lizzie. A success! Cedar values her hair with pink and lilac dyes. I love the ponytail!

Behind the scenes of the Fashion World You know what's cool? Go behind the catwalk and meet behind the backstage!!!! Oh, we found unpublished pieces, whose are they? And we can see the girls' makeup tricks/tips... I think I'm going to faint! Wow, you guys love digging through other people's wardrobes, huh?

In addition to using striking black eyeliner, Apple does a double gradient in the shadow. It's perfect! Madeline bets on inverted shade: dark on the inside and light on the outside. Good composition! Alone, Apple and Daring provoke a thousand sighs. Together, they are the perfect couple. As they know they will be happily ever after, they are in no rush to date and can enjoy the single life!

An undeclared passion from Wonderland! They are so friendly, so companionable and get along so well that they are afraid to say what they feel and ruin the friendship if they are not reciprocated. Do you know any similar situation like this?

Sometimes the heart plays tricks... How could Cinderella's daughter be with Snow White's Huntsman's son? They're not even from the same tale! To make things worse, Ashlynn is a Royal, Hunter is a Rebel... These two really defy destiny!

For Hopper Croakington II, making a declaration of love and suffering makes the head spin, the heart races and the mouth says... bullshit! Some more EAH and MH stuff I made!

Pic 1: Apple Bite, my take on the leaked prototype dress that @luc-elementix posted a while ago. This would have been Apple dressed as/transformed into a vampire and would have happened in The Lost Movie or been movie exclusive dolls.

Pic 2: the Scarily Ever After doll line with Draculaura as Snow Bite, Frankie Stein as Threadarella, and Clawdeen as Little Dead Riding Wolf. (I know Frankie’s doesn’t really match the art, but I tried by best.)

Pic 3: Scarily Ever After Cleo and Abbey. They only appeared as background characters in Draculaura and Frankie’s stories, but I wanted to include them anyway. Cleo is the Evil Princess (/Queen) in Snow Bite and Abbey is the Fairy Ghoulmother (Scary Godmother in my head) from Threadarella. (In other stories, I think Cleo could be Sleeping Beauty and Abbey could be the Snow Queen.)

Pic 4: Destiny swapped Apple Queen and Raven White. Honestly, I just swapped their color palettes 😅 Nothing nuance here except maybe for Apple’s purple highlights. I kind of like this AU/theory. I know some people don’t and Apple could have just inherited her hair color from her dad (he’s stated as having blonde hair in the books), but it’s just such a cool theory to me.

Pic 5: Snow White and Eva Queen during their school days. This is taken from the comic Class of Classics, where we see the previous generation in their youth.

Pic 6: Gigi Grant, Djinni “Whisp” Grant, and Genie/redeemed Whisp

Pic 7: Howleen Wolf fashion evolution (G1 and G3). I really like her second look. I know some people don’t but Howleen’s whole thing is that she’s trying to find herself. She feels like she has something to prove since her older siblings have all done great things. Fashion is great way to do that. She’s expressing herself through her fashion. (I couldn’t get the hair poof that she has in her first and newest look so I went with the braided/cornrow look (I don’t know what hairstyle this is. My knowledge of African hairstyles is abysmal.)

Pic 8: Casta Fierce, Catty Noir, and Ari Hauntington. Honestly, these were my favorite to make. I love that MH made some pop stars. I still listen to Witching Hour and Catty’s songs are so good. I also really like her and Pharaoh. They are so cute and would definitely be THE monster pop star power couple (in my opinion). Ari also has a really interesting storyline. She’s a pop star in both the human and monster worlds.

okay technically it is all in French but its pretty easy to translate because comics only have short amounts of texts and google translate is sufficable particularly if you're using camera mode. Anyways, there's a few on the website including this and what I think is issue 16 or 17.

Dante can play guitar confirmed and Zhalia being a little sh*t about it.

I don't know if she already knew he could play and its a commentary on his ability or if she’s just being Zhalia. Also Dante, what is up with that nickname?

[FR] Avec l'annonce d'un futur comic Monster High pour la Pride où l'on découvre pour la première fois depuis des années un look officiel et "canon" de Spelldon Cauldronello (le potentiel futur petit-ami de Kieran Valentine introduit dans le diary de sa poupée SDCC), cela m'a donné envie de me replonger dans mes (trop rares) croquis de lui que j'avais en tête et de dessiner ma propre interprétation du personnage.

[EN] With the announcement of a Monster High Pride comic where we're discovering for the first time in years an official and "canon” look for Spelldon Cauldronello (Kieran Valentine's potentiel boyfriend introduced in his SDCC diary), it gave me the will to go back to the (very rare) sketches of him I had in mind and draw my own interpretation of the character.

[EN] Chase Redford singing "One Knight" for Alistair Wonderland I had seen in 2018 a post from someone on Tumblr saying that he (or she) could imagine very well Chase serenading Alistair on this song from the Broadway musical “Wonderland” (to listen here). [FR] Chase Redford chantant “One Knight” pour Alistair Wonderland J’avais vu un post de quelqu’un sur Tumblr disant qu’il (ou elle) imaginait très bien Chase faire la sérénade à Alistair sur cette chanson de la comédie musicale de Broadway “Wonderland” (à écouter ici). J’avais envie de dessiner la scène même si il aura fallut 4 ans pour le faire. J’ai aussi dessiné la réaction de la Team Wonderland! ^^

[FR] Je tombe amoureux de Clip Studio Paint ! 🤩 (Ça va être dur de revenir sur Photoshop après l'essai gratuit! 😅) Ce n'est que mon deuxième dessin avec la tablette graphique et c'est déjà un coup d'éclat ! ✨️✨️✨️ (J'ai l'impression d'avoir reçu mon Enchantix!)

[FR] ENFIN!!! 🤩🤩🤩 4 ans après mes études d'art, j'ai enfin pu m'acheter un nouvel ordinateur portable (le mien avait 11 ans et mettait 15 minutes à s'allumer ou s'éteindre) et une VRAIE tablette graphique ! Merci au Black Friday ! ^^

C'était un rêve d'en avoir enfin une avec un écran intégré pour pouvoir dessiner plus facilement sur l'ordinateur et être plus productif.

Une fois la tablette installée, j'ai découverts que je pouvais tester Clip Studio Paint gratuitement pendant 3 mois. Voici donc mon premier dessin avec le logiciel ET avec la tablette graphique. Ce n'est pas terrible (Ce n'est pas facile de maîtriser le stylet pour dessiner et j'ai complètement raté la main malgré le fait de l'avoir redessinée 5 fois 😅) mais pour un premier essai je trouve que ça a l'air plutôt pas mal.

J'ai hâte de voir ce que je peux dessiner maintenant avec cette tablette graphique ! 😊

It was a dream to finally have one with a built-in screen to be able to draw more easily on the computer and be more productive.

Once the tablet installed, I discovered that I could test Clip Studio Paint for free for 3 months. So here is my first draw with the software AND with the graphics tablet. It's not terrible (It's not easy to master the stylus for the line and I also completely missed the hand despite having redrawn it 5 times 😅) but for a first try I think it looks pretty good.

Can't wait to see what I can draw now with this graphics tablet! 😊
