I think what I love about Mariana Zapata books is that sometimes theres not necessarily a plot in all of them. Which is weird, but I love the snippets and scenes she pulls together for us, letting us watch their routines, and letting us watch them slowly slowly fall in love.

Watched @what-the-heck-is-rwby’s v4 finale reaction tonight and god I really never realized just how much touch as a love language is huge in RWBY

And it makes total sense, doesn’t it? These are characters that can quite literally extend their soul around themselves as protection. They can project it far enough that it covers their weapons too and their weapons are considered an extension of their soul
