Carte de la ville de Sucre en en 1777 avec une organisation urbaine semblable aux villes espagnoles et où on distingue les deux montagnes qui dominent Sucre : Sica Sica et Churuquella.

Le salon de la Independencia où fût réuni le premier congrès constituant de la Bolivie qui signa l'acte d'indépendance le 6 août 1825. Sous un plafond de caisson et en chevrons m, on peut admirer, au-dessous de la porte, une belle tribune taillée en bois de cèdre et dorée a la feuille d'or 24 carats.

En forme de U, Elle rappelle les choeurs du XVIe. Sa décoration est de style baroque. A l'origine, au début du XVIIe , ce salon fut la chapelle privée des jésuites.
