iruma

iruma has always been embracing whatever position the world puts him in. it has always been that way and he thinks it should stay that way: it is after all the safest way to live without upsetting others. which is also why he was fine with watching you from afar, having only the occasional conversations to pass by the time waiting for the teachers to arrive— or more if luck is on his side and he is blessed to be in the same group with you.

but the blue-haired boy doesn't think he can go on like this.

he blames it on the time spent with you, a tad frustrated that he is starting to lose his cool and stutter more every time you talk. i mean, why is your smile that blinding in the first place?!! and why do you look at him like that, like he deserves to be looked at with so much love? iruma is going to be more in love if this happens.. :(

but, iruma has always been good at embracing things. and that includes the fact that you make his heart flutter.

he asks to walk you home (you think it's sweet of him, since you can spend more time together walking than flying home) and your lips curve into the lopsided grin he's fallen for.

you don't talk along the journey, letting the sound of birds and the shuffling of your shoes to fill the air. soon arriving, you turn to your classmate to thank him when you notice the red his cheeks are flushed with.

"yes?"

"i want to be honest with you..—", he purses his lips, "—i've liked you for a long time and uh..u-uh... i'm wondering if...." "if~?", you tilt your head playfully to better look at his face.

startled, he takes a step back. his eyes meet yours and he swears you can hear his heartbeat, immediately covering his face with his hands. "uh i'm- i'm sorry for saying it like this but i can't say it while looking at you...", he takes a peek from behind his hands and continues when you say you don't mind.

"please go out with me!!"

peeling his hands off his face and intertwining your fingers together, you softly smile. "you don't even have to ask."

evil cycle! iruma

one thing about iruma on an evil cycle is that he gets what he wants. right there and then. which is why the moment he realizes his feelings for you, it took him no seconds for him to stride right towards your seat.

it's a usual evening in class and professor kalego is explaining something on the board when iruma stands. ignoring him, you continue to listen to the lecture when suddenly you feel your hand being gently enveloped with your blue-haired classmate's.

"hey, wanna go out?"

huh?

you lift your head to meet his gaze and the corner of his lips pull up into a small smirk. you don't realize you've been staring at him until something soft makes contact with the back of your hand─ AND IRUMA IS KISSING YOUR HAND??@?&?

a cough interrupts your moment and you feel your whole body go warm from the looks you're getting from your classmates. IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE CLASS TOO? IS HE CRAZY??

pulling him closer by his hand that's holding yours, you whisper shout to his ear in disbelief, "go back to your seat!!"

unphased, iruma turns his face to you and you miscalculated the distance because the next thing you know, your noses are almost brushing and you can already hear your heart bursting. "so that's a yes?"

growing more concious of the stares you're getting, you clench your jaw and roll your eyes in frustration. iruma leans back, not yet letting go of your hand, and excuses himself for interrupting the class. (wild i know, but you have some weird effect on him.)

the class however thinks otherwise as they start hollering and cheering, with professor kalego losing yet another junk of his lifespan from the chaos. wanting to get it over quick, you mumble a quiet yes. and you don't think iruma missed it, not when he closes the distance yet again to press a kiss on your forehead before going back to his place.

you definitely can't focus on the lecture now.

So not sure how you'd feel about this but... Paimon and Bachiko hooking up and becoming Moms/Mentors to Iruma, constantly fighting and arguing while also taking care of Iruma.

Now listen, im all in for enemies to lovers, but they seem like they have too much pride to just admit to liking each other, so im leaning more on them coparenting iruma together

Wait! I think i'd like it as a slow burn. Like i think it'd be funnier if they're co-parenting iruma together, headbutting against each other at every turn (except when givivng iruma advice cause the most problem he has is that he doesnt have a backbone) and multiple people keep telling them that all their problems would be fixed if they go see a "Couples Therapist"

When Sullivan goes on the news to brag about his family after the events of Walter Park, he does a bit more damage than just turning the entire Netherworld's attention onto Iruma. He also brings their attention to you, as both the only childe of Sullivan and the unwedded mother of new hero Iruma. This would have been fine, if it wasn't for the numerous amounts of proposals and courtships you were being offered on the daily for the past several months now. This certainly would not do. Neither Sullivan nor Iruma were prepared for even the idea of letting you go to another. As such, operation protect the daughter/mother was a go.

When you had agreed to venture over to Shihirou's house after work today, you certainly hadn't been expecting this. OH FUCK I meant to send you a Director's Commentary thing when you reblogged it BUT I FORGOT anyway how about the deets on "And the Audience Clapped"? (If you're still in the mood)

The actual fic has a trigger warning for uh. Everything? The base premise of the fic is "Guda has incredibly disturbing intrusive thoughts and does not react well to them" so even if I don't think I'll get into details in my play by play, tw for thoughts of sexual violence, onscreen self-harm and suicide attempts, and overall blorbo from my show spiralling bad.

My primarily goal when writing this was "I want to see how fucking worse I can make Guda." But I'm a weenie I actually like bad endings so my secondary goal was "but I want it to end well."

I have absolutely no idea if I succeeded. I feel like I chickened out too much tbh (<- squicked out by sexual violence) and as for the ending I'm often told that what I qualify as a "good/okay ending" is often "fucking horrifying" to other people. Still I like the final result so that's everyone else's problem. This was however a nightmare to tag which is why I just went the "choose not to use archive warnings/fuck around and find out" route, because if I tagged everything it would be WAY too long.

Anyways. "What if the player was an outer god." I post about it a lot in a comedic tone over here. I wrote it as self indulgent porn somewhere else. But I really wanted to take it in a more... realistic? Direction I guess? What if things weren't automatically fine and ok because the story demanded it. What if it was in fact an incredibly distressing situation to be in. I don't like writing monsters are villains (not my vibe) but that does not mean the monster loving you & having good intentions should always be an instant smooth sailing. Which really means that Guda will be stuck in intrusive thoughts central for nearly 6k.

Now for a more specific play by play of the fic:

The problem with writing the POV character being possessed is that it is incredibly hard to showcase when "this is something normal from the character" vs "this is someone else speaking through the character" (doubly so when the character themself does not realize the possession is happening) So I was at times less than subtle about it. In case it wasn't clear, this is the player being worried about Guda, and Guda misinterpreting the feeling because "this is someone else's thought" is not typically the first conclusion people would draw. Anytime in the fic where you see Guda having conflicting emotions, or being confused about their own feelings, that was a case of player feelings interfering with their owns.

Outer gods are basically eldritch gods in Fate lore. As such I don't think they really have like. A body the way humans consider it. That's why the fics have various instances of weird fascination towards flesh and how it functions. From the perspective of a god, it'd be like suddenly figuring out how an ancient watch works.

When you're being possessed by someone who is 1) incredibly not fucking normal about your bestie and 2) does not know the difference between intimacy love and violence. Bottom text.

Also a lot of people initially assumed that I picked Castoria in this specific scenario because I, too, am not normal about her. And I mean. That is partially true (tho not to that extent lmao) but also Castoria IS canonically one of the closest people to Guda (& the most likely to realize that something is wrong.) It's not just "I'm having horrible thoughts about some random aquaintances" it's "I love this person with all my heart and I want to give them the world, but I can't even give myself to them because my existence is poison." So double the agony.

This was inspired by one specific scene from Mairimashita!Iruma-Kun, available on mangadex and probably crunchyroll please for the love of god read that manga it fucks SO hard.

When you're an Outer God with only a very vague knowledge of humans and what they look like so instead of focusing on eye color or haircuts you're just fascinated by the fact that this lil one has thirty-two teeth. Bottom text.

This whole section is meant to be "all the times Guda died before the player rebooted the games," so I picked all the hardest boss fights I could think of. There's someone in the comments who asked me months ago if they should pick up a guide for the Cernunnos fight because I brought it up like five times in that paragraph alone. My guy if you are following my blog, yes, you should. You really fucking should.

Also I use second person a lot when writing Guda fic because it's easier (they/them can be confusing when you're writing multiple characters in one setting) but ofc for this fic this also gave me the opportunity to write some moments where the player is directly talking to Guda (or at Guda, rather.)

I wanted to show that while the player was at their most Not Normal about Castoria, they do love everyone in Chaldea, which is why Guda is being more affectionate than usual here.

I'm just really proud of "You imagine lapping at her open wounds, lapping at her wet cunt." Intimacy and violence but also holes and fluids you know how it is.

My bitch Guda who wouldn't wish to bother others & show any weakness if they had a gun to their head.

Christ I can't summarize MHXX's lore concisely, but she is repeatedly compared to a character from a sitcom, hence why her first comparison is to tv shows.

This is meant to be a call-back to that bit earlier where they wonder how hard they'd have to bite to make Castoria bleed.

To lb6 players out there: I was thinking of Gareth writing this line.

I don't remember if I told you, but Castoria has Fairy Eyes, ie is capable of perceiving lies (tho the exact mechanics are unclear.) That's why Guda is being extra stubborn. They can't deny that they're fine because she'll know it's false, so they're trying to dodge the entire conversation.

My bitch Guda who is taking the entire situation soooo well (casually deshumanize themself & considers being dead in the same sentence)

[Castoria voice] why don't you get into bdsm and then maybe you'll feel better.

Anyways, that was blorbo from my game having the worst life of their life! I think I could have done worse, and will endeavor to do so soon. Still damn proud of it tho!

“Oh my goodness, you’re familiar is so cute,” you cooed, scratching under Kalego’s chin. The demon fought back the urge to kick his leg like a dog when you hit a sensitive spot that felt heavenly.

“T-thank you,” Iruma said, his hand half heartedly reaching out to stop you as he decided what to do.

The rest of the Misfit class bit back laughter as you hugged Kalego to your chest, completely unaware of his unfortunate form.

“L-let go,” Kalego struggled to get out. This was the closest he had been to you and damn it just had to be in this stupid looking form of his.

“A familiar that can talk?” you asked, letting him go. “Those are incredibly rare, I guess your reputation is deserving, Iruma-kun,” you praised.

“Actually,” Iruma started but Jazz cut in.

“Yeah, it surprised us all when his familiar starting talking for the first time,” the kleptomaniac said, stopping Iruma from spilling the beans.

“He must be very strong,” you said, going back to scratching under his chin again. “Any familiar capable of talking would be, even if he has such a cute appearance.”

“Huh-uh,” Iruma said, terrified of how Kalego was going to punish him later for letting this happen.

“It’s me,” Kalego said, trying to swat your hand away with his tiny claws. “Kalego, stop petting me right now.”

“Kalego? Did it learn to talk by mimicking others?” you asked.

“Not exactly,” Iruma answered, “You see-”

“It likes taking personalities of demons it meets and Kalego-sensai was the last demon it met,” Jazz butted in again. “Don’t ruin it, this is hilarious,” he whispered to Iruma.

“Are you sure though?” Iruma whispered back as you inspected the familiar more closely, trying to get it to mimic you.

“Absolutely,” Jazz said, giving Iruma a thumbs up.

“Stop lying to your teacher! The entire class will be given extra homework over the break if you keep this up,” the familiar threatened.

“Oh, he really is good at mimicking Kalego-san isn’t he,” you laughed. “That sounds exactly like what he would say.”

“I am Kalego!” the small creature shouted at you.

“Sure you are, what a cutie,” you said, rubbing his belly.

Again the class bit back some laughter, whatever punishment they were to receive was worth it at this point.

I saw the scenario you had of balam with him noticing the temperature difference between demons and humans. can i ask for a scenario with kalego and human reader with this concept? u can choose if you want it sfw or nsfw. whichever is easier :)

"Everything okay?" you laughed nervously as Kalego held the back of his hand to your forehead, a scowl on his face.

"Why are you working today? You have a huge fever."

"I do? I feel fine," you said, confused as you shoed his hand away and placed your own on your forehead. "No, my forehead feels normal."

"What do you mean normal? The skin on my hand is red from how hot you are," Kalego said, showed the pinked skin to you.

"This is my normal temperature, how have you never noticed?" you asked, taking his hand in your two.

Kalego scowled again at the heat coming off of you, angry at himself for not having noticed the temperature difference between the two of you before. Maybe because it was summer and everyone was running hot but now that the weather was cooling it was more noticeable.

Lowering his voice, "Are all humans this hot?" Kalego asked, thinking that could be the only reason why there was such a difference.

"Yes, our temperatures usually hover in the high 90s. A fever for us would be in the low 100s," you explained.

"That's outrageous, you humans are weird," Kalego stated, matter of factly.

"Don't be rude, you wont be complaining come winter when we are sharing a bed and you're snuggling up to me for warmth," you teased, leaning in closer to whisper in his ear.

Kalego felt the blush creep up his checks. "We'll see about that," he tried to say calmly but it came out as a weak stutter causing you to grin.

the name itself is enough to make anyone shiver. heck, even iruma purely won that first fight with him thanks to his dodging skills. but oh, how great would it feel to be loved by the said intimidating person.

you would know. of course, you would.

because snuggling beside you is the flesh himself, the one and only, asmodeus alice. and being in love with alice is easy. he's got the skills, looks, brains, wealth. he's got everything you could only ever dream of in a person. and perhaps this is dreamland in itself. because two months of dating and you still get giddy when your shoulder is the one alice is nuzzling his cheek on. yours. not anyone else.

people have seen how soft he became around iruma. they didn't know he could even take it a step further until he met you.

because to alice too, loving you is easy. sure, he's got much more "capable admirers" or is what others put in his mouth but they all come nothing close to you. they can imitate you all they want but they're never you.

they're not the one giving him some snacks and telling him to rest when he practices too much. they're not the one to brush the hair out of his face with a touch so delicate he flinched the first time you did it. because how could anyone ever treat him that fragile? like love is oozing out of your fingertips itself. and they're definitely not the one to cup his cheeks and say "i love you" when bad things happen and he just feels like disappearing from the world.

those among so many other things, he couldn't just replace you with them because he simply have the ability to. he can't.

he doesn't know how to live life if he's not the one rubbing circles on your hands with his thumbs whenever you need some reassurance. or the one pulling you into a hug so tight it makes him slightly dizzy, the good kind. or the one kissing your cheeks solely because he likes it and it makes you let out a chuckle, and his face would combust into the colour red it's embarassing to even look at you. but he doesn't look away. he never looks away. he needs you to know he loves you just as much, and this alice is a side he's sharing only with you.

because hey, you're not the only one smitten here.

“P? Can I go now? Liz and Kerori are actually waiting for me…” You said to your boyfriend who is just holding you while you both sat on his cloud, Shisho. Agares grumbles and shakes his head, burying it even more on the crook of your neck. “No.” He said. You thought about wiggling yourself out but knowing this demon’s evil cycle is much more scarier than yours… You gave up.

“Sorry girls… Maybe next time?” You said to Kerori as she sighs, “Agares-san, must you—!” Kerori wanted to protest but feeling your boyfriend’s aura getting badder and badder by the minute, she gave up. “See you then, L/N-chan.” Elizabeth said as you waved and sigh.

This happens a few times considering Agares Picero is like the demon of Sloth.

But he does make it up to you though.

Planting little kisses on your neck to make you giggle.

Or maybe letting his smile out just for you.

He’s just a sweetie and of course, a tsundere.

There was this one time where you and him have your usual sleepovers..

“Hey, what do you think of this?” You asked as you put on one of his eye masks on your head. It was one of his favorites and it fits you perfectly. So perfectly that he was too flustered to say that it’s perfect on you. “It’s not horrible..” He mumbled looking away. You noticed this and smirked, “Aw C’mon Agares! Say that it lookes beautiful on me!!” You said as you crawl up to him while he just looked away, hiding his red cheeks from you.

There’s nothing better than a Tsundere boyfriend…

Agares tend to fall asleep everywhere… Even in your arms when his cloud is nowhere to be found.

You would enter the room to find your boyfriend on the floor with his arms and legs crossed, “Babe? What’s wrong?” You would say walking up to him then got tackled by him. And the next thing you know, he’s actually cuddling you then falls asleep. You would blink but smile lovingly and stroke his curly locks before going to sleep yourself ‘til Kalego-sensei caught you both.

But overall… He’s just like a baby… Needing your attention and it’s adorable.

Mairimashita! Iruma-kun s2 ep8

We’re finally at the end of this arc! Took a long time and many people waited and now it’s here and it’s over. I’m sure you manga readers are waiting for something else after this and I wonder what you guys would be hyping next.

They finally got all the stamps from the other teachers and they’re now here to show Kalego-sensei the results and are waiting for sensei to sign his.

Sadly, sensei is pulling some technicality on them and says it’s not enough. They only had letters from the teaching staff and Babyl’s faculty members include those working on other parts of the school (cleaning, cafeteria, etc.) and the class failed to gather those. He says too bad but he’d at least see if he could have their old classroom fixed.

Honestly, seeing that Iruma is close with the other staff members since he’s been helping them out anyways, I thought that if they could use the rest of the 3rd day to gather those letters, they could turn this around.

But it seems they didn’t have to go anywhere because the other staff members heard about what the Abnormal Class was doing and they all arrived in the Faculty Room to give their letters.

Iruma is surprised and asked why they were here and helping them and each group/person mentioned that Iruma had either helped them or made their jobs more fun. They’re fans of Iruma and they appreciate him. While you could see Iruma helping people throughout this arc alongside gathering the other letters which foreshadows this scene, this had been going on since season 1. Iruma had been shown to volunteer in helping clean ups and such (with Azz and Clara following him and helping out, too) because that’s the kind of person Iruma is.

I’m not gonna lie, I teared up at this scene. Not only cause it was heartwarming to see the others help Iruma but also the fact that Iruma realized he’s appreciated. Iruma had been working his entire life before Grandpa Sullivan adopted him. His parents have abused him and he’s always had to survive. He also would help anyone of they even said the word “Please”. To Iruma, doing work and helping others is a normal part of him and is probably no big deal to him. To see him surprised that he’s being thanked this way for everything and knowing all of what he’s been doing made a big impact on people, things that he never really thought much of cause it’s normal for him to help, is just... it’s nice. It’s great because everyone loves Iruma and now he hears it from them.

(This reminds me of a story I heard but it has nothing to do with Iruma-kun but the comparison made me cry more lol)

Kalego-sensei very, very, reluctantly stamps his own letter lol.

There’s now a celebration for two reasons: one, Royal One is finally going to be opened after who knows how many years. This is a historical moment! Two: everyone wants to see the kids that made this possible. The class is surprised by the 2nd reason cause they’re never been thought of as cool and interesting before.

Royal One is finally open! The inside is super shiny! It doesn’t look like it’s part of a school at all.

I was wondering earlier why the place looks so clean and spotless despite being abandoned for many years. Turns out, they have an explanation for that! Darn, I wish I had that kinda magic to keep our house clean! Would’ve been helpful lol.

Iruma sits in the throne!

Okay... again, I’d like to ask: the Wicked Phase/Evil Cycle for Iruma just lets him do his desire, right? Iruma before this scene purposely walked inside rooms seemingly looking for something and then when he sees the throne, he smiles and walked directly to it and sits on it without a word as if this is what he wanted from this (everyone else is shown to be interested in parts of the school that would benefit them or is their thing).

So... does this mean Iruma low-key wants to be the demon king deep inside his heart?

Anyways, none of the other kids complained at all or criticized him for sitting on the throne.

Azz suddenly had a vision.

This is pretty cool, I admit. I mean, Iruma is the main character and we know he’d be the demon king someday but seeing everyone else start realizing it is awesome.

The next day regular Iruma returns! And he is feeling the cringe! How dare he act like a cool but rude guy at school? It’s totally bad and embarrassing! lol

He apologizes to his grandpa and to Opera about his behavior the past few days and they just tell him it’s okay and that they liked his rebellious phase, too. They’re really happy he’s back to being the sweet kid they know though.

Iruma also apologizes to Ameri about his actions and Ameri tells him it’s fine.

Don’t worry Iruma! Ameri really doesn’t mind the dokidoki scenario from the other day. In fact, I think you awakened something inside of her!

He says sorry to the rest of his class for putting them through something troublesome but they said they aren’t mad and are actually happy about how it all went. And they have a really nice classroom to boot!

They also tease him about the whole “Sitting on the throne” thing, too.

In the end, they all decided to take a picture and dragged sensei for it, too!

The one from the episode itself had subtitles so I took a screenshot of the after credit image so it’s got no subs but it does have the show’s logo on it.

That was a fun arc! I can definitely see what you guys liked about it but the hype is still strange to me. Probably because I usually see those hype for fight scenes when it’s on a shounen anime. It was entertaining though! I was gonna point out how weird it is that Royal One is super clean and sparkly after many years of being locked but they surprisingly had an explanation and I was like “Oh...” lol.

It’s definitely a nice ending to this arc. I love how Iruma’s actions from season 1 with being nice and helpful culminated into this. It’s definitely a nice part of his entire story.
