Starting Commisions!!

Hi guys!! As you can tell from the title, I am starting commisions! In short, I need the money. Christmas is close approaching, and I am in need of some present money for my best friends and family. So if you like my art, and would like to buy a commission from me, free feel to contact me on my discord!!: euonix (I am only able to accept cashapp :( that information is linked in my discord bio)

As for prices, they are listed in the image above. I am open to any suggestions on altering the prices (especially if Im overpricing my art) I am VERY new to this so please have mercy :D

Monday Madness: A Young Business "Etches and Crylics"

As I've mentioned in a past post, I am the founder and owner of a new and upcoming buisness called "Etches and Crylics", where I specialize in anime/cartoon style drawings and paintings. I was inspired to begin through the motivation of my dearest Isaiah who now owns a podcast on soundcloud called "CHEAUOFE RADIO", his purpose? I use a variety of mediums in my work, but there are quite a few preferences I believe my customers and future customers should know about. 1. I purchase canvas, printer paper from Wal-Mart × all sketches and drawings come in a clear protector sleeve × small, medium and large canvas are optional 2. Paint brands I use are Apple Barrel and Daler Rowney. 3. I sketch predominantly with fine point pen (pilot g-z 07) and sketch pencils. 4. I use crayola and prisma color products for color sketches and drawings 5. I use watercolor and acrylic paints 6. Oil pastels are optional if desired. 7. Sharpie is a choice of medium. 8. The use of crafting supply pieces such as miniatures, clay, beads, stickers, ribbons, glitter, shells, rocks, glass or stone are optional and can be used in a piece. Que ce soit chez Facebook, Desjardins Assurances générales, Wal-Mart ou d’innombrables autres entreprises et organisations de toutes tailles et dans tous les milieux, la situation est toujours la même: ce sont des décisions de gestion qui sont à l'origine de crises de réputation.

Jeudi dernier – alors qu’au début du long congé, l’actualité aurait normalement dû porter sur les courses aux œufs de Pâques et autres sujets plus légers – Wal-Mart s’est retrouvée sur la sellette, au Québec, à cause d’un enjeu de société que la multinationale du détail aurait bien voulu – et aurait pu – éviter…

Rappel des faits:

jeudi: Wal-Mart met fin à son programme d’intégration au travail de personnes handicapées et fait des mises à pied… alors que débute le Mois de sensibilisation à l’autisme !

telle une traînée de poudre, les médias de Trois-Rivières – où l’annonce a d’abord été faite – et partout au Québec accordent une importante couverture à la nouvelle;

l’animateur bien connu et père d’un garçon autiste Charles Lafortune fait une sortie virulente – en lettres majuscules – sur Facebook. S’enchaînent plusieurs entrevues qui, pour Wal-Mart, constituent en ce Vendredi saint, un pénible chemin de croix alors que Lafortune enfonce le même clou, de station en station…

samedi: Wal-Mart présente ses excuses pour la «confusion et la déception»;

samedi: le bouillant ministre de la Santé, Dr Gaétan Barrette, a mis en doute la sincérité des Wal-Mart:

Détaillant et citoyen corporatif… pour la vie

Dans cette histoire, Wal-Mart a d’abord eu l’air du «gros méchant capitaliste» qui se fout du bien commun tout en engrangeant des milliards de dollars de profit… et c’est entièrement de la faute de ses gestionnaires!

L’erreur commise par les gestionnaires de wal-mart est fréquente : faire intervenir les communicateurs quand le feu est pris…

Légalement, Wal-Mart a tout à fait le droit de se désengager d’un programmed’intégration au travail de personnes handicapées. Mais, à titre de plus important détaillant au monde, qu’en est-il de son rôle obligatoire de citoyen corporatif ?

Si les communicateurs de Wal-Mart avaient été mis dans le coup bien avant d’avoir à prendre le boyau pour tenter d’éteindre un incendie qui a rapidement pris de l’ampleur, voici ce qu’ils auraient pu imaginer:

saluer la volonté du gouvernement du Québec qui a annoncé son intention de faciliter l’accès des personnes handicapées au marché du travail;

faire état de l’engagement de Wal-Mart depuis près de 20 ans, avec succès, afin de promouvoir l’intégration des personnes handicapées au marché du travail au Québec;

inciter l’ensemble des employeurs du Québec à accueillir des personnes handicapées – se positionnant ainsi comme un leader.

par sa faute, wal-Mart a reçu un coup de masse sur sa rÉputation.

À l’opposé, nous avons plutôt eu droit à un désengagement inexpliqué et inexplicable. On ne retrouvait aucune présence liée à cette situation sur Facebook, ni rien sur le site de l’entreprise (où le lien vers la section À propos de Wal-Mart)!

Nous avons analysé deux de ces retombées:

Entrevue de Charles Lafortune diffusée en boucle à LCN le 30 mars 2018. Toutes les variables sont négatives, dont celles-ci : la présentation du sujet, les images, le ton et le traitement journalistique. Déficit de – 3 219$ pour Wal-Mart à chaque diffusion.

«Une décision critiquée de toute part » à la une de La Presse+ le 31 mars 2018. Toutes les variables sont négatives, dont celles-ci : l’emplacement dans le média, le titre, l’amorce, le ton, la présence du logo et le traitement journalistique. Déficit de – 56 558$ pour Wal-Mart.

Quand une personnalité se lève…

Charles Lafortune gère très bien sa présence dans les médias sociaux : il a un compte pour sa carrière (La Voix, son entreprise, etc.) et un autre pour commenter ce qui est de nature plus personnelle.

Sur son compte s’adressant au grand public, Charles Lafortune regroupe près de 75 000 fans. Son taux d’engagement y est de 1,24%, ce qui est excellent. Plus de 3 000 partages ont été rapidement notés à la suite de sa sortie sans équivoque!

Si Charles Lafortune affirme qu’on ne le reverra pas de sitôt dans un Wal-Mart, il semble être une exception à travers les citoyens qui sont, également, des consommateurs. Puisque, malgré tout ce tollé, les Wal-Mart du Québec sont encore bondés…

People ask how I like a job where I get paid commission. Then they always say I don’t think I can do that, I need to know I’m getting paid. It may not be for everyone. I’ve had hourly paid jobs, salary, and commission. I don’t like people telling me what I’m worth. Other than rarely I may have a bad month, but most of that would somehow fall on me. If I do great that also falls on me. I understand the safe feeling with a salary job knowing that you are going to get paid no matter what. But one week you can bust your ass nonstop and the next week do almost nothing and you get paid the same both weeks. I would much rather just go out everyday and just kill it and get paid as much as possible. It allows you more freedom to do and get the things you want. Best way to describe it is you have to have the heart of a girl scout that sells cookies. These little bitches at that time of year are everywhere. Outside Wal-Mart, a grocery store, even in my showroom at work. Now everyone buys girl scout cookies, I don’t give a fuck who you are. “I don’t but girl scout cookies cause of gluten and blah blah blah.” Go back to hell devil. Anyways, they have a product everyone wants that’s over priced. You pay them money, and these bitches don’t even get to keep the money. Little Susie needs to sell so many boxes so her troop can get certain things and whoever sells the most gets a trip to Cancun or some shit like that so she can see the mistakes she will make in the coming years during spring break on her senior trip. Anyways Susie wins the trip, but what about the other crack pushing little accidents that were mom’s mistakes at Cancun. Other than their new uniforms, these bitches ain’t get shit. They busted their ass too. I’m looking at this as a level playing field, not as little Susie’ s mom called up all the could be baby’s daddies and guilted them into buying pallets of the shit for not being in her life. They should all get rewarded for what they did. Commissions is like that, you get rewarded for what you do, but know that you may not get shit cause your mom was responsible and knew how to hold her liquor. Yes it may not be for everybody, but that also doesn’t mean that not everyone could do it. Sales is nothing but an act. You get to roll out the red carpet, become whoever you need to. Just close the deal. Some are natural and talented at it. Others work hard at it. Whether you are gifted or not in it, if you put in the work, you will get rewarded. It’s that simple. If you want to sit around all day for 10 dollars an hour you can do that too. I personally would rather put some effort in and have a 100 dollar an hour day. And yes it happens. Work harder now to be able to enjoy the things you want later. Not going to lie, at first yea I was fucking terrified. At most dealerships I've worked at you have a "draw". If you don't sell a car you still get paid that week. Normally minimum wage for the hours you worked. Catch is you owe that back on your next sale. I've seen people get in the draw $2000 dollars, but I've also seen them crack a person or two over the head and get out of it on a day or two. Getting on the draw can fuck with your mental state, at least for me it did. Made you second guess if you made the right career path. Now it's nothing, I grind and get paid.
