Now the way this younger man stared at you unnerved you. Sure you were used to the way men would stare at you seeing that you’re the only fighter amongst them, but the way Baki stared at you was different. It was almost as if he wanted to eat you. And it wasn’t just him. It was his girlfriend too.

You’ve tried letting the short man down gently but he was determined to have you. It didn’t matter that you didn’t like him, Baki was sure you’d give in eventually. Between him and Kozue, they both really liked you.

“I’m so jealous of how nice you look in everything.” Kozue complimented you, her dark eyes nervously flitted over to your body. Kozue shifted in her chair with nervousness as she bit her lip. “I wish my body looked like yours.”

“Your body looks just fine, Kozue.” You sighed as you ran a hand through your hair. “We are just two very different body types.”

You went to rise up to take off your judo uniform. Which made Kozue’s cheeks flush a bright shade of red.

Kozue’s eyes shifted to the ground when you rose to stand up. You were so tall… she was a bit jealous. “I could help you-“

Kozue gasped when you grabbed her chin and held her face up to look at you. A smirk on your face. “You and your little boyfriend are both little freaks, aren’t you?”

Kozue gulped when your fiery gaze didn’t leave her eyes once. Your gaze was strong and dominant, a side she has never seen of you before… one that made her tremble with excitement. Kozue really liked this side of you.

Your gaze was unmoving when Kozue leaned more into your touch. How peculiar her and Baki were. Were all the fighters weird in Japan? So far, every single one of them had been rather strange to you. You didn’t know if it was because of your larger portions or because of your monstrous height. But you didn’t like the attention all that much.

“If you insist.” You sat down on the bench in front of Kozue. The women’s locker room was empty save for the two of you. “Knock yourself out.”

Kozue’s cheeks flushed a bright cherry red as she stepped forward to help you disrobe out of your judo uniform. Her breath hitched at how muscular you were. She didn’t know women could look like you…

“Are you going to gawk or are you going to help me take this sweaty thing off?” You turned your head to look at the shy girl who merely nodded. You had to admit there was almost something endearing about the small girl. “Do I make you nervous, Kozue?”

And once you stood before her in merely a sports bra and your underwear, Kozue quickly scrambled to turn the other way. Her heart nearly leapt out of her chest at the pace it beat at. She was almost in tears from how attracted to you she was

“I can handle the rest. Thanks.” You then proceeded to dress into sweats. The poor Japanese woman placed her face in her palms in shame. Was it normal to be attracted to someone other than Baki?

Once you were fully clothed, you turned to see the young woman still as red as a cherry. Good god she was strange.

“Alright. I’m heading out.” You slung your gun bag over your shoulder and gave Kozue one last look. “See ya around.”

As you walked out, you were greeted by Baki who seemed to be waiting for you. Hell, he was probably waiting for both you and Kozue.

“Hey. I was wondering if you’d like to go out to eat with Kozue and I?” Baki asked with cheeks the same shade of red as Kozue. “It’s on me.”

You paused for a moment before you clicked your tongue. It’d be a shame to turn down free food. Hopefully those two didn’t make it weird for you. You’ve been out with them two other times so this shouldn’t be as awkward as before. “Ya, I could do that. Just don’t be weird.”

“I mean, I’ll try not to.” Baki nervously scratched the back of his head. “Kozue seems fond of you so I apologize if she can be a bit awkward. It’s not often you get to meet an Amazon like you.”

You hummed. Most of the people here and Japan believed you to be an Amazonian warrior due to your stature. But you were merely a tall woman from (country’s name). Not an Amazon. You didn’t care what they referred to you as. Whatever helped the people around you sleep better at night.

You reached forward to zip up your sweatshirt when you noticed Baki’s gaze linger on your chest. Perhaps you should be a little more self aware? It seemed that modesty was more approved of in Japan. Which was difficult for you due to your well endowed chest. There wasn’t a single clothing department here with clothes that fit you… maybe you should ask that Jack Hanna guy where he shopped from?

Kozue snatched your hand up in hers while you were lost in thought. Baki then grabbed the other as the couple smiled at you. You towered over the two with ease which made you feel even more out of place

“Shall we?” Baki asked as the two eagerly lead you towards a restaurant. “This place has some really nice food.”

The couple lead you in with big smiles on their face. This was finally the third date… the one where they’d both ask you to be their girlfriend! You’ve been out with them two other times already so why not make it official?

seireitei HR department chronicles - pt 1

Summary: It’s your first week at your fancy new HR job. And your first ever complaint is already the most bizarre situation you had ever dealt with

The room was silent except for the periodic tick, tick, tick of the wall clock. You wished there was some sound to fill the empty space, maybe then you wouldn’t have to stew in the horror of the words that had just left Captain Hitsugaya’s mouth.

You watched the snow-haired Captain slouch in the seat before you, arms crossed and shoulders hunched. His face was twisted into a deep scowl, lips pursed. The skin of his cheeks was slightly dusky, showing that he was, in fact, embarrassed by the account he had just given you.

You cleared your throat, trying to form words with a tongue you felt was completely paralyzed. You stared at the form in front of you that you were trying to fill, the large “COMPLAINT FORM” written on top seemed almost comical considering the complaint in question was-

“I’m just going to tick the ‘personal’ box in ‘Nature of The Problem’.” You choked out. Captain Hitsugaya looked affronted.

“It’s not personal, it’s professional.” He said. “I was in my office. That’s a professional space.”

“But, um-” You felt like crying. “I don’t think Lieutenant Matsumoto accidentally flashing you is a…. professional problem.”

The Captain’s cheeks flamed even more, a petulant pout settling on his face. “An accident, my ass. How does that even happen accidentally-”

“She was sleeping.” you argued weakly.

That made him perk up, as if you just gave him a gotcha. “And why was she sleeping in my office during office hours? Actually, I want to file a separate complaint about that.”

Before you could protest, he had reached across the desk to grab the form you were filling, then reached for another one and plucked the pen right out of your hand. You watched helplessly as he scribbled in the details of his problem, secretly grateful you didn’t have to write all of that out.

Curse Captain General Yamamoto Genryuusai for making an HR Department and then putting you in charge. Your first week, and your first complaint, and it had to be the kid captain complaining about his grown Lieutenant snoring on his office couch with her chest on display.

You didn’t even know what the protocol here was.

“Has this happened before?” You asked, hoping to gain some guidance on how to deal with this.

“Too many times.” He mumbled back, focused on the paper before him which he was furiously scratching letters on. He sounded so grumpy it nearly made you laugh.

“So what did you do before this?” You continued.

He rolled his eyes. “Nothing. I would scold her and hope to god I never had to witness that again.”

You looked at the huge “Seireitei Code” that Squad 1 had delivered to you on your first day there. It was thick as a brick and contained every rule on the Gotei and what exactly to do when violation of rules occured. Granted, it was for more severe violations like murder or serious bodily harm. You could guarantee with your whole ass that there was nothing in there about flashing your captain.

How the fuck were you supposed to talk about this with Lieutenant Matsumoto?

Once Captain Hitsugaya had left, after many assurances on your part that you would personally have a sit down with his Lieutenant on the seriousness of the problem, you slumped into your chair and buried your face in your hands. This had to be a joke. This couldn't be the potential the Captain Commander saw in you. There’s no way he created this department knowing you had to solve sexual harassment cases between a literal child and a grown woman.

On second thought, maybe that's exactly why he made an HR department. You imagined the Captain Commander of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads, the most powerful man in Soul Society, having to deal with squabbles like this on a near weekly basis. Jeez. No wonder the man needed a buffer to take matters off his hands.

Try as you might, you couldn't see a way out of this without physically having the Lieutenant in your office to air out her Captain’s grievances. You knew a written warning wouldn’t suffice. If you knew anything about the bubbly woman, it was that she wouldn’t take an office document seriously. There was a good chance she wouldn’t bother to read it at all.

You didn't know how exactly to confront Lieutenant Matsumoto about the predicament she had found herself in. And it almost annoyed you that you were somehow more uncomfortable with this than she was. She nearly giggled when you read through the report. You on the other hand, wanted the ground to swallow you whole.

“Do you understand where he is coming from?” Your whole face was hot after having read out the complaint Captain Hitsugaya had written out, looking anywhere but directly at the Lieutenant’s face.

“Yeah but,” she scratched the back of her head, pouting slightly. “I didn’t do it on purpose.”

“A rule violation is still a rule violation, Lieutenant.”

She sighed and stretched, nodding but looking unconvinced. “It’s hard to really control any part of your body when you are asleep, though.”

“Uh, about that.” You rifled through the papers on your desk to hand her the other complaint her Captain had written out. “He also reported you for sleeping excessively on the job.”

Matsumoto pouted and whined at that, looking almost offended by the piece of paper dangling before her face. “Aw, come on! Captain can get so mean sometimes. Do you know how much paperwork I have to do? I can’t even take a little nap?”

You knew for a fact that Captain Hitsugaya was carrying Squad 10 on his shoulders. He finished the work of three people every day by himself.

“Lieutenant…” The tone of your voice was so defeated it made her sigh.

“Okay, okay. Fine. I will try to not fall asleep. And I’ll keep the girls tightly wrapped up. That okay?”

“Please refrain from calling them that in a professional setting.” You corrected weakly, feeling weary to the bone. You almost missed defending Ikkaku and Yumichika when they beat up 20 people and ended up in Squad 4 with broken limbs. Surely, anything would be better than this.

“Okay! Jeez.” She sniffed, standing up. “Can I leave now?”

You nodded, watching her make her exit and slumping forward until your head hit your desk. Your forehead stung at the contact. You looked at the report in front of you, Lieutenant Matsumoto’s signature next to the acknowledgement of her poor behavior. Your lips twitched.

Giggles erupted from your throat as the hilarity of the situation finally caught up with you, bending over to grip your stomach as tears leaked from your lash line. Fucking hell.

This would be a good story to tell at parties.

Unohana:

She holds you so gently.

Unohana asks you a few questions, like what happened if there is any other injury despite what she can immediatly see and so on.

But you can only mumble things.

She doesn't quite understand you, but she keeps talking to you so you stay awake.

It doesn't quite work, you ended up fainting.

Unohana does a little "oh" when you faint.

She whispers to your unconscious body how proud she is of you for fighting and hanging in there for so long.

She gently carries you to a safe place and proceeds to heal you.

If you were able to defeat the enemy, she would be smiling the whole time, some people might think of it as a bit... unsettling, but she is just happy to have you safe and sound.

If you could not win, well, she is pissed.

How dare they harm you?

She might become Kenpachi again, but that will depends on the situation as a whole.

Is it going well? if yes, then, she will nurse you back to health and keep a close eye to what is happening in the battlefield making sure your aggressor is dead.

If it is not going well, then, she will fight. overkill the bastard.

After nursing you of course, you are top priority!

Rukia:

She is a nervous train wreck.

Keeps asking who did this to you and where else you are hurt.

But you can only mumble and that makes her even more nervous.

Oh she is tiny so the chances of you being bigger than her is high. So, consider that she is probably gently cradling your head.

when you faint, she desperatly call for the 4th squad help.

She is tiny, but she can carry you, no worries.

If you won the battle and the situation as whole is not bad, she will stay with you.

or try to, chances of her being told to wait outside is high.

if you did not win, she will leave you in the care of the 4th squad and proceed to find that bastard.

She is pissed and will fight them.

While battling she keeps thinking about you.

When she is back, she is by you all the time until you recover fully.

Doesn't matter how much you asked her to rest or try to convice her you are fine now.

She ain't leaving you.

Rangiku:

She holds you gently too.

Rangiku gets very anxious and worried, but she tries to talk to you.

She knows losing consciousness isn't good.

It doesn't quite work.

She starts to cry a bit and asks inform Hitsugaya about taking you to the 4th squad.

Of course he allows and covers for her.

Rangiku starts whispering bitter-sweet things like " Don't leave me, baby leave. " , " I know you are strong, hang in there!"

Regardless how the battlefiled is like she will leave you in the 4th squad care.

She cannot let her captain alone, even if it tears her heart in half.

As soon as she can see you again, she is hugging you and holding you close.

She gets clingy.

May bring you some food or drinks while you recover.

She won't allow you to push yourself.

Rangiku will make you use her as pillow, no, this is not an option.

Random Marriage drabbles

Hello everyone! This is my first time posting a drabble like this, if I missed anything please let me know, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

CW: Unexpectedly suggestive in Unohana’s part 😭 I’m so down bad for that woman

CAPTAIN UNOHANA

At the beginning of the marriage, I believe Unohana wanted to keep it low profile. Not because she’s ashamed of her wife, hell, far from it, she just wants to assure that no one in the Seireitei bothers you with things concerning her, as a lot of people are too scared to approach directly. One of the things that she loves about keeping it quiet is that if someone tries to make a move on you, she comes out of nowhere (As far as you know) to ask that person what they’re talking to her wife about with an eerie smile on her face. It's enough to send them running.

The Soul Reapers of Squad 11 could be stubborn brutes, you knew this firsthand as well as the warning words from your wife. How unfortunate you ran into one during your nightly walk around the Seireitei.

“Hey there pretty lady… you alone tonight?”

Your eyes narrowed and your nose scrunched up at the strong stench of sweat and alcohol. You felt a man twice your size place his hand on the wall next to your head, you didn't even turn to meet his gaze and sighed, you didn't feel the least bit concerned.

“I'm on my way home, if you'll excuse me.”

“Come on, I wanna get to know you, got some time on your hands?” You finally turn your head to look at the man, the rugged face familiar to you, a man, a small fry of the eleventh squad under Captain Zaraki Kenpachi. You can't seem to recall his name though.

“No sir, I have someone to go home to.”

“Your husband doesn't have to know.” Just as the man is about to put his hand on your waist, you see a figure flash step behind the man in front of you.

“My, a conversation doesn't require two people to be so close, tell me boy, what could you talking about with my wife that needs you to be?”

You see the man visibly sober up, turning his head so fast you swear he got whiplash. A spine-chilling smile was present on Unohana’s face.

“C-Captain Unohana!” the man comically scoots 5 feet away from you faster than you could process. “I-I didn't know she was your w-wife, I-I apologize deeply for my actions, have a wonderful night!” and there he goes, running off.

“It's rather comical how fast that one ran away, quicker than the last one.” you watched him get smaller and smaller as he went further and further, turning your attention back to your wife.

Her expression softens when she looks at you, giving you a genuine smile. “Never mind that you should just go straight to my infirmary if you insist on having these walks, we could go together.”

“I like it when you have to go around and chase me though.” You half-joked and pouted playfully, leaping onto her chest while looking up at her through your eyelashes.

She didn’t budge when you leaned against her, her eyes narrowed at your words but her smile didn’t falter, “Acting like that can get you into bad situations, quiet down before you eat your words.”

You knew what she meant, and it struck lightning throughout your body. A redness slithered its way across your face. Your gaze shifted, and so did your body, your arm wrapped around hers and you stood by her side. “Let’s go home please?”

“That was enough to get you going? Hm well, I guess I’ll have to take responsibility once we get there, yes?”

CAPTAIN SOIFON

She definitely has a soft spot for her wife, though she can be mean sometimes, she tries her best to show her affection! When at home, after her duties as a Captain, she enjoys spending time with you. She isn’t a romantic by any means but she loves star gazing by the engawa by your shared room before bed.

The stars sparkled in the sky so beautifully tonight, you thought every time you saw it, it was a sight you’d never tire of, but you could also say the same for the woman sitting next to you.

You turn your head to Soifon, analyzing every detail of her side profile in your gaze. To her night clothes, to her unwrapped hair, and the relaxed expression on her face.

“I can feel you staring.” Her cheeks quickly became rosey, and she tilted her to the side to stare back at you, “Is there something you wanna say?”

“No, nothing. I just like admiring you is all.”

She didn’t respond, looking back at the stars to avoid your gaze. You smiled mischievously and pounced on her suddenly, but being the captain of the stealth squad meant that she had way quicker reflexes than you, so you ended up pushed against the floor face down with Soifon on top of you, one of her arms placed next to your head and the other gently pinning one of your arms against your back.

“Oh! Not so rough Soifon!” You whined, though it was an exaggeration. You giggled right after, squirming in her grip.

“Tch, idiot, You’re not exactly subtle with the uptake.” She let go of your arm but didn’t move from her place on top of you. She watched you turn your body to face up at her, your loving gaze and smile was enough to put her in shambles.

Before she could move away, you slipped your hands around her shoulders and wrapped your legs around her waist to lock her in place, “take me to the futonnnnnn.” You made a kissy face at her.

Soifon grumbled under her breath, “I didn’t marry a child.” She placed a hand on your back and another under your thigh, using her strength to pull you and herself up to stand while carrying you against your body.

You happily placed your chin on her shoulder as she carried you to your shared bedroom, the futon already laid out in the middle of the room. Just as she was gonna place you down, you stole a kiss.

LIEUTENANT MATSUMOTO

I imagine Rangiku to have a wife who's constantly dotting on her due to her lazy tendencies and makes her help Captain Hitsugaya like she's supposed to. Rangiku reluctantly listens to her occasionally but there are moments when she pulls her wife along to join her naps on the couch in Hitsgaya's office, which the Captain walks in on, not the least bit surprised, but he’ll let this slide a couple of times.

“Rangiku! Aren't you supposed to be doing paperwork right now?!” you put one of your hands on your hips with a disapproving, and the other held a tray of food, you thought it would've been a nice gesture to get your wife some lunch today.

The blonde’s eyes snapped open and shot up from her resting place on the couch with a slightly groggy sheepish grin on her face, “ Oh hey sweetheart, didn't know you were coming to visit the office.”

“Don’t change the topic!”

“Is that food for me, dawh! You shouldn't have!” Rangiku ignores your scolding and gets up to walk over to you and leads you to the couch, “I'm glad I have such a cute wife that gets me lunch sometimes, Come on let's enjoy it together.”

You looked at her, unamused, a blush dusting your face. You'll just have to find a way to get your irresponsible wife to work another time.

After a bit of teasing from Rangiku, and finishing lunch, you leaned your head against her shoulder. She went on about unimportant details about her day and how slow it was, her voice lulling you into a much-needed rest after the work you had done around the Seireitei.

She got quieter as she noticed your eyes drooping. She smiled and wrapped an arm around your waist gently so it wouldn’t interrupt your slip into slumber.

Bonus

The white-haired Captain entered his office, immediately spotting his lieutenant sleeping with her lover leaning on her shoulder. He had an urge to start yelling at her to get up, but in the corner of his eye, he saw a messy stack of papers on his desk.

Walking to his desk, he noticed that Rangiku’s share of paperwork had been completely done. “ The bare minimum of work… it’ll have to do.” And off to work he went, as quietly as possible.

Captain duties were abundant. As squad seven’s new captain, you had a difficult time warming up to your underlings and subordinates, replacing Captain Komamura’s (huge) shoes grew to be quite the feat.

Your office hardly had its empty days; squad members had their issues and you were more than happy to resolve them, yet it was comforting to know that they didn’t need you from time to time. 

The moment you collapsed in your chair, soft, strawberry-blonde hair engulfed your shoulders and neck, breasts bounced and bumped your back. 

You tensed at the feeling, then scoffed as your girlfriend wrapped her arms around your shoulder.

“Is there a reason why you snuck in here and hid your spirit energy?” you deadpanned but you leaned into her touch anyway. 

“Aw, and here I just wanted to help you relax, captain,” Rangiku purred. Her lips found the underside of your ear, pressed a few kisses there. “Don’t you want me to help you relax, captain?”

A shiver rushed along your back. Rangiku chuckled as if she felt it herself.

Baki looks even more confused and looks at Kozue " are you..sure?"

with a bit of hesitation they leave the room, Hanayama only stops and looks back to Nija, she returns his look and looks in his dark Obsidian eyes...he sighs and closes the door behind him as he leaves.

Kozue turns back to Nija and sits down on the windowsill next to her "so....do you wanna talk about it?..." she looks up to Nija, waiting patiently.

Nija takes a deep breath and sits down next to her and leans on the window "it.... isn't the Hospital" her voice changed from one second to another... It's quiete and calm...soft and warm...

she closes her eyes and sighs "It's been some years since i've been shown what fear is...and how pain feels....i thought i learned well enough to ignore every fear and pain i could ever feel...but that fight..."

Some Baki characters when they catch a cold and you offer to take care of them

Baki

• He insists you don't take care of him. He doesn't wanna seem like a burden on you or possibly get you sick too.

• If you care for him regardless its such a new feeling for him. For almost his whole life he was forced to care for himself all alone but to actually have someone there to aid him back to health makes him feel warm inside.

• He'll probably just do a lot a sleeping all day. He seems like the type to just sleep in his futon until hes all better. He might wanna hold onto you like a body pillow.

• He'd want you to make him from homemade food and give it to him in bed like he would LOVE that. He'd ask for seconds too. He's a bit gluttonous, for your cooking especially.

• This guy does NOT catch colds. It's something that barely ever happens so when he does catch a one it's kind of a shocker.

• He handles the tiredness and pain like a champ, since he's definitely been through exponentially worse than just a little cold. He'll barely act any different. He'll most likely just be a little woozy and tired, but nothing that makes him any less powerful.

• If you figure out some miraculous way to have him stay home to take care of him, he may be a little irritated at first. He thinks it's useless to just stay in bed all day doing nothing especially when he knows that the cold doesn't affect his strength or performance whatsoever. He wants to go train as soon as possible.

• You'll have to cook him bunches of homemade food (which he probably very much enjoys) to satiate that huge appetite he has. You'll be in the kitchen a lot that day.

• Showing your genuine concern for him makes him feel really strange inside. Like his brother, he's always had to take care of himself and deal with his suffering all alone. But with you there helping and taking care of him, he can't help but feel just a little joyful about it deep down.

• In the long run though, he'll be very low key thankful he stayed home with you. He pushes away that attachment to you as much as he can but he very slightly realizes that he really does love being taken care of by you and hanging out with you. He wont be able to get your face out of his mind when he starts training again.

Kozue

• I feel like she'll be one of the only ones to take it easy when she knows shes sick.

• She'll be so weak and tired she'll wanna do nothing but lay in bed all day

• He'd think its sooo cute if you brought him some homemade food in bed. He'd probably tear up a bit like a doofus and smooch you out of happiness. Wont be too late till your sick as well.

Retsu

• He'll try to ignore it at first and train as usual, but eventually he'll know that its best if he takes a little bit of time off to get back to 100%

• He already knows how to care for himself quite well actually, he doesn't get sick often but he knows exactly what to do to get better as soon as possible (how to treat himself, what foods to eat, etc etc

• He'll probably sneak in some training while he's recovering though

• Colds don't particularly have him acting very different, but he'd definitely be a little tired and his words might slur just a bit. He feels like the type who catches a cold and sneezes all the time 😭

• He says you don't have to help him and he can care for himself, not wanting to burden you. But if you persist, he'll let you care for him. He'll be constantly thanking you for everything you do too.

• You do everything you possibly can for him, no matter how many times he says its not needed or he can do it by himself, you're always there to do something for him. He actually really likes it when you make food and bring it to him. He adores your cooking.

• He does get quite happy when you care for him like that though. It makes him feel a lot of joy knowing there's someone there to love and care for him. He never been cared for like that before.

• After everything he'll show a ton of appreciation towards you and how you nursed him back to health. If you ever happen to get sick he'll treat you just as well if not even better.

Katou

• He despises being sick, it just slows him down from all the crazy shit he wants to do and it puts him in a really bad mood.

• He'll probably try to ignore it and go on as usual unless you force him to stay home (which clearly wont be an easy task)

• If he decides to just take a sick day off, he doesn't want you helping him. He thinks its weak having to have another person care for him other then himself. Mind you, he'll already be in a shitty mood so try to care for him with upmost caution. He's very violent.

• I can see him attempting to do things by himself, angrily telling you that he's got it, then tripping or stumbling while getting up 😭

• If you persist enough, he'll eventually just give in and let you care for him. He'll be so intense and pissed though. But as time progresses he gets low key kinda happy having someone genuinely cares about him and his well-being. Just like most everyone on this list (strangely), the feeling of someone caring for him is new and special. He really wants you to take care of him forever. He wants that love and attention he hasn't had for so long. It'd be funny if he genuinely pretended to be sick even after his cold passes just so you can care for him more.
