Eennsy weensy bit of Warren too. It's like,, a paragraph and a few mentions.

You were the kid who was his favourite, you absolutely ADORED his shows when he was a human, before he got mutated.

He loved that you were a fan and when he got mutated, a part of his brain became animalistic, hence, he became a yandere.

Surprisingly, one of the few times when I break the "reader / person is shocked to find a mutant." But this is because reader is a kid. Like a kid, reader doesn't know not to trust people yet.

Yet.

Anyway, so when he turned into Hypno, he became a yandere for you! His big fan! And since you loved him so much, wouldn't you love him now?

As I said, I break the trope (that is a trope for a reason) and Reader is actually, surprised to see their favourite entertainer / person who isn't family or friends show up and be a mutant.

Little Reader here is okay with it because now he can do MORE magic! Which is exactly how he kidnaps you.

He kidnaps you by using the 'enters box, and now their gone!' trick to lead you to his apartment that he shares with Warren.

And yes, Warren loves you (in a platonic way) and Hypno (romantic), has no qualms with keeping you if it means he gets to have a family with his Bf.

So, once Hypno has you in the apartment, he keeps you entertained using magic tricks to make you forget about going home. He uses the short attention span to draw you away from thoughts of your previous home.

Although once you start crying because it's nighttime and you want the previous parents back, he starts to have some regrets and uses his magic to get you to sleep. Oftentimes life is boring with them because he wants you to rely on him for entertainment and wants to be your 'dad' which is disorienting for the little kid who just thought that magic was cool.

He hates using the hypnosis on you, but would do it if you are escaping or in BIG trouble. He wants you, not this,, being that looks like you but has none of your personality!

When they have to do crime to get money, he uses his hypnosis on you (although he hates that he has to,) and makes you wait until they get back.

He often gets upset but is scared of hurting you, so he hits the wall or objects but it only ends up scaring you more when you see the holes he created with a punch that could have been aimed at you.

Best scenario, you get Stockholm syndrome and he lets you get your education and go outside without having to hypntoise you too much.

It's best if you just Stockholm quickly because while he wants you to be you, and not some lifeless doll, he isn't afraid of that reality.

In the end of the day though, you're not escaping him because of his hypnosis.

- Hypno is such a dork, he'd probably be so affectionate towards you.

- He's talkative, honest, and very genuine with his feelings.

- He wouldn't really be one for over the top deception and genuinely just adores you.

- He can also be envious/jealous at times.

- Hypno may be a bit of a hopeless romantic.

- He gets head over heels for you rather quickly.

- He may he a hippo, but he's as affectionate as a puppy.

A/N: Honestly, I stopped staying hydrated for a while, but I'm back to drinking a lot of water. Stay hydrated!! I would like to preface with the fact that before Hypno mutated he went by Mezmer-Ron so I'm assuming his name was Ron... I honestly had no clue what to do with Ghostbear...

Donnie

You meet up with Donnie in the alley between the buildings you were perched on. You put the few pieces of mystic metal you found in his bag before you both turned to go back to the lair.

"Well well..." You hear a familiar New Zealand accent. Donnie tensed next to you. "I've found a turtle..."

Donnie turned and pulled out his bō, eyebrows drawn down. "I was in the middle of something." Donnie sighed. You turned to see the mutant hippo, who was all ready to pounce when he saw you.

"Y/N?" The hippo asks, lowering his rings.

"Uncle Ron?" You question.

"Uncle Ron?" Donnie turns to you.

"By days..." Hypno gasps, rings dropping to the ground. You race to him, enveloping him in a hug. A few years ago he just disappeared. "I haven't seen you in years, you've gotten so big."

"I'm hoping you weren't planning on killing my boyfriend." You laughed, Donnie hesitantly approached.

"You're dating a turtle?" Hypno huffs, both men glaring at each other.

"Says the hippo..." You answer.

Leo

Leo had portaled you guys to the beach for a day of relaxation. At least that was the plan, but soon Leo was fighting 2 giant crab men.

"I hate the Sando brothers..." Leo groans, being able to take a quick break from fighting to check on you.

"Sando?" You ask. He nods, watching them to make sure he didn't put you in danger. "Like... Ben and Carl Sando. Acrobats."

"Uh yeah..." Leo frowns, looking at you. "Why?"

"They're my uncles." You answer.

"Uncles? Your uncles are crab men... Why didn't you tell me you were related to the Sando's?"

"It never came up!" Ben charged, you quicky stepped in front. "Ben!"

"Y/N?" He grunts, skidding to a stop, Carl flies into him, making them fall over. "It really is you! What are you doing with this turtle?"

"He's my boyfriend."

"Aren't you a little young to be dating?" Carl glares at Leo.

Eventually they simmer down and you all go out for lunch to catch up. Your mom will be really happy knowing her brothers are okay.

Mikey

Mikey was headed to meet you at a yo'kai restaurant close by. He turned the corner and saw you with Meat Sweats. He couldn't see your face, but he saw Meat Sweats' gross smile. You were in danger, he had to do something.

"And I —"

"Y/N!?" Mikey calls. Rupert looked up, recognizing the orange turtle's voice. "Get away from them."

"Mikey." You grab his hand and pull him closer. "This is my uncle. Rupert Swaggert. This is my boyfriend, Mikey, he's a huge fan of Consenting Kitchen."

"Your uncle?" Mikey asks, at the same time Rupert says: "Your boyfriend?"

"We just bumped into each other." You smiled. "I haven't seen him since before he mutated."

Neither man spoke, nor did they look at you. They glared at each other. Sure Mikey was a fan of Rupert Swaggert, but he wasn't the biggest fan of Meat Sweats.

"Uh... I'm see you later, I have a date tonight." You smiled awkwardly at your uncle before dragging Mikey into the restaurant.

Raph

Both of you were chilling out in the park together. It was dark, so there wasn't a fear of people seeing him. You had grabbed takeout and drinks for a late night picnic.

This was your first date in months due to the missions Raph had to go on. But it made it all the more special.

"You wouldn't believe the guy that came in today at work." You laughed. Raph chuckled, not speaking so you could continue your story. "He kept trying to tell me that he needed left handed pencils. Like I was an idiot."

"Only one turtle?" Someone asks. You both turn and see a polar bear. "Y/N? What are you doing with this turtle?"

"Ghostbear..." Raph huffs. "I was just enjoying a date night..."

"Ghostbear?" You look at Raph who nods. "Like the pro wrestler?"

"Yeah?"

"That's my uncle!"

THIS IS A TRUE STORY

The events depicted in this AU took place in New York throughout many years

At the request of the survivors, the names have been changed.

Out of respect for the dead, the rest has been told exactly as it occurred.

In this anthology fanfic based on TV series Fargo, each Part follows a different iteration of the TMNT cast who get involved with the murders investigations of important characters throughout New York City that drastically change the events of the shows or comics, with characters even having different roles. Along with seemingly unrelated crimes sometimes being connected in some way.

Basically each iteration has something different about them whether being a character from an iteration that wasn’t in said iteration appearing, a new criminal group(03) or a character’s role changing

Season 1(03)- In 2003, John Bishop passes through Manhattan and influences the community, including Scientist Baxter Stockman into a path of malice and violence to protect themselves at whatever the cost. Meanwhile, Deputy April O’Neil and vigilante Casey Jones team up to solve a series of murders they believe may be linked to Stockman and Bishop.

Season 2(IDW; City At War) - Season 2(IDW; City At War) - In 2019, Mutanimal members Sally Pride and Man Ray cover up Ray’s hit and run of the son of a crime family boss based out of Hell’s Kitchen. While brothers Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo become entangled with the Hell’s Kitchen Mob, The Mutanimals and Foot Clan when the brothers are forced to investigate a triple homicide connected to the Hell’s Kitchen Mob and Foot Clan at a diner in Lower Manhattan when a Newscaster threatens to expose them to the public. Along with that, New York state trooper Lou Solverson and Richmond County officer Chris Bradford also investigates the diner murders and also find themselves getting dragged into and investigating plot involving the Foot Clan, The Turtles, Mutanimals, EPF and Baxter Stockman as it all grow into a City Wide massacre.

Season 3(2012) - After recent shortcomings and realization, Tiger Claw finds himself hunted down by the Foot Clan after quitting. Causing two members of the Foot, Fishface and Rahzar to come up with a plan to try and kill Tiger Claw with the help of couple Ray Stussy, a parole officer/foot member who was forced to join after witnessing a fight with the turtles and the Foot, and his new girlfriend Nikki Swango(Both returning characters from Fargo), an ex convict. However the plan backfires causing the deaths of a police chief and gang member, triggering a chain recent of events between the Foot, NYPD and the SoHo Yakuza. Along with that, a low ranking police officer in the NYPD, Lindsay Barker, and crime scene photographer Warren Stone try to figure everything out to prevent further bloodshed.

Season 4(Mutant Mayhem)- Mutant crook Hypno-Potamus(Formerly known as Mezmer Ron) accidentally stumbles upon a talent show set and finds himself skyrocketing into the entertainment industry. However he soons finds himself entangled in a gang war when he witnesses gang leader Superfly kill a distributor of his. Now a member of the Mutanimals against his will and also for the Liberty Mafia after being blackmailing by their boss, Ethan DeLuca, Hypno goes back and forth between the groups as he tries to find a way out, then deciding to con both sides of the war. Surely deceiving a psychopath(Superfly) and a narcissist(Ethan) can’t be too hard right?

Season 5(Rise) - In 2018, Baron Draxum kidnaps Leonardo Hamato to hopefully get him to join him. However the turtle makes it impossible, to where brainwashing him won’t work either. Draxum then tries to drag out Leo’s father Splinter, formerly known as Lou Jitsu, which fails as well. While Leo’s brothers deal with idiotic villains going after them, April hires John Bishop, a mysterious Special Agent with ties to the TBI(Texas Bureau of Investigation) and CIA and a person who escaped from Draxum’s lab years prior without trouble and temporarily dated the Battle Nexus Host, Big Mama, before she could get the chance to use him as a Battle Nexus Fighter. However, Bishop isn’t exactly who he appears to be, maybe not human at all, and he plans to rescue Leo while at the same time plotting to take Draxum out of the picture, permanently.

RotTMNT: The Show Must Go On

For @tutant and the Magic Leo AU.

Leo woke up to pain and confusion. His head feeling like someone had been drilling into it. He blinked several times, feeling like he’d fallen asleep somehow. Did he just wake up? How did he sleep while standing?

The rest of his body felt fine, though. Better than fine, actually. Light. Energized. Like he could do anything.

Something felt off though. Nothing seemed the way it should, though he couldn’t begin to question how. But there was one thing he did know—the only thing that made sense in the ringing in his brain. The new absolute truth around which his thoughts and memories formed as he slowly crawled his way back to what he was sure must be reality.

His only rock—his only guide in the maelstrom of confusion was a singular sentence running through his head, repeating endlessly:

“The show must go on.” 

The pounding in his head lessened the more he thought about it.

He didn’t know where it came from. He didn’t know why it was there either. But something about it felt wrong as it resonated within him.

He hesitated, blinking in confusion as the word blinked just as easily out of his head.

It…it felt…wrong it’s WRONG—

Again, it was like his mind skipped. What did it feel? Something was telling him to get it out it’s not supposed to BE here!

…it felt something, right? But what?

It was perfectly normal.

Oh.

Yeah, now that he concentrated, the more he thought about it, the more it made sense. Honestly, now that he focused, it was a beautiful phrase. The perfect phrase, really. The sort of thing to live your life by. How had he never thought about it before?

…why was he thinking about it now?

Wasn’t he supposed to be doing something? He was sure he was supposed to be with…someone?

“There we go.”

There was someone else here, so that answered that question. This must be who he had been here with.

Oh wait. He recognized him! It was Hypno, an enemy! Mesmer-Ron, an amazing magician and hypnotist.

Of course he knew who the man was. He had been a fan. Why was he here with him, though?

Mezmer-Ron spoke, pulling his attention.

“Are you ready?”

Ready? For what?

He frowned, trying to concentrate. What had he been doing? Why was he here? Where were—

“Are you ready for your audition, my boy?”

He blinked. Something snapped into place.

Oh. Oh right, he was here for the audition. How could he forget?

“You just need to get the books.” Mesmer-Ron reminded him, gesturing through a door.

He followed the magician’s directions and peeked into the room where there was a central podium with some books inside. No signs of any guards, though some symbols on the floor and walls indicated cause for warning. And nothing in the way of the books themselves other than a glass case.

Oh.

This would be easy.

He sent a smirk over his shoulder.

“You got it, Boss.”

He strode into the room with confidence even as he saw and felt the hidden dangers. But he didn’t let any of that stop him. Why would he?

He was going to ace this.

“The show must go on.”

Of course it must.

Life was a show.

And what else was he supposed to be but a showman?

Well, this was easy enough. Certainly easier than he had expected.

He had been worried once he saw one of the Turtles at the Magic Town House as well. After all, where there was one, the others surely were nearby. And all of them together would no doubt ruin his heist plans. This would be his only chance at Houdini’s Journals and the power contained within! The absolute last thing he needed were the mutant teenagers interfering!

But it seemed that what he had feared would be an obstacle turned out to be quite a useful resource.

After all, these were Houdini’s Journals—practically mystic spellbooks in their own right. What if they were trapped in some way he couldn’t tell? What spells or tricks might have been put in place to keep away potential thieves? 

Hypno had been planning to go in himself and brave whatever trials may have been in place.

But…

Well, if he had someone else to send in first, why not use them?

So he directed Blue to enter and steal the Journals for him while he waited outside in relative safety. He had expected a number of scenarios. For nothing to happen. For the boy to be transformed into a frog. So many ways that he could fail to only a few routes of success.

But this…

It was amazing! Better than he could have hoped!

Clearly the ninja title wasn’t just for show as the teen dodged, jumped, ducked, and slid past one trap after another—all with a perfect poker face that didn’t even bely the effort! And with the few tricks that he couldn’t dodge, he deflected and parried them so easily!

Hypno had always been one for a good performance—both from the seats and on the stage. He was a perfectionist like that.

And Blue certainly did not disappoint.

Then best of all was near the final reach. The glass itself was spelled to repel intruders and seemed all but impenetrable. He hadn’t been sure that Blue would manage to make it past that short of breaking glass, and he had been prepared to run in the very likely case that it set off alarms. Yet instead, Blue parried another attack from a magical trap with sword in one hand while having somehow managed to take and switch out the Journals with the other in what had to be the finest display of slight of hand that Hypno had EVER seen!

It was practically a show all in itself! Surely, the great Magicians of the past themselves would have approved!

Then to top it all off, once he was done, Blue leapt back with Journals in hand and fell through a perfectly placed portal to wind up right back outside of the room and at Hypno's side, landing in a perfect bow with the Journals presented to him. Practically—no—actually bow-tied!

“How?” “A good magician never reveals his secrets.” Blue replied with a grin.

“That’s true.” He replied, taking the Journals with some reverence.

And sure enough, it was no trick. These were the actual Journals. He could practically FEEL the secrets and knowledge contained within.

…and yet…he hesitated.

What if their power was too great for him? He of course had confidence in his own capability, but these were the journals of Houdini himself. There was no point in using them if doing so would corrupt or change him.

He needed someone to test it first, he realized.

“But luckily,” he mused, turning to the other in the room, “I have a volunteer.”

Blue looked up at him in confusion.

“Did I pass?”

Hypno grinned. “Of course! I dare say you have quite a lot of talent there.”

The kid beamed. It was adorable, really. He remembered when he had been that young and enchanted by all that magic had to offer.

…in fact…

Why not use this?

If what he had witnessed so far was correct, Blue was a fan of magic. And that showmanship was perfect for stage presence. Perhaps the boy had some talent for magic that Hypno could help foster. And there was something in him that wanted to build that. A future magician. A legacy.

It would be also all the better to allow him test the Journals and see just what they could really do. A bit of influence to nudge Blue in the right direction to want to learn more, to devote his skills to the craft, to excel in magic—what feats could be accomplished? What limits could be broken?

Plus it would mean one less Turtle to disrupt any of his future plans…especially as he had little doubt that the other Turtles would try to step in once it was known he had the Journals. Perhaps having one of the brothers on his side would help to counter that possibility?

Yes, there was everything to gain here.

“It just so happens that I’ve been on the lookout for such bright young talent! I think I may have a place for you.” Hypno announced.

“Really?” Blue asked. His face showed curiosity, but there was excitement there in his eyes. Something that he was fairly convinced his own power hadn’t put there.

“Of course! I’m a magician of my word!” He clapped Blue on the back, grinning as he began to lead the way out. 

“And every magician needs an assistant.”

After all…

The show must go on.
