All Snuggled Up

Benchtrio and Michael_ have a sleepover together.

Rain patters against the large windows, racing down from their placements, as if desperate to reach the ground. Snowchester rarely got rain, however with the arrival of Summer drying up the majority of the snow, it was finally warm enough for the droplets to remain instead of becoming snowflakes. Of course, it was still chilly due to being right next to an arctic biome, which sent gusts of frigid air into the trees, rattling their branches and dropping snow from them on to the ground. Summer was always nice, because it was never swelteringly hot unlike other locations, but it still brought life to the fragile ground and heavy rain.

Steam rises from the kettle methodically, increasing soon enough, and finally the kettle clicks and the steams returns to exiting slowly. Tubbo’s hand curls around the handle of the kettle and brings it to his teacup, which is decorated with small vines painted on by hand- it was a gift from Tommy, since Tommy loved creating for his friends, even if he’d stubbornly deny it if you brought it up to him. He sets the kettle back down into place and pours some milk in, along with two scoops of fresh honey into the liquid, watching as it dissolves and dips below the tea. He sets it gently on to a tray, along with some cookies that he’d baked yesterday with Ranboo and Michael.

He lifts the tray up in his hands and creeps out of the kitchen, not wearing his heavy boots anymore, which was saved for the harsh cold months. He pauses beside a bookshelf and reaches up carefully, his fingers curling around a book with a red and gold cover. He carries it under his arm and continues his journey across the mansion. Finally, after a long walk through hallways and up flights of stairs, he comes to a room. Sliding the door open ever so gently, he smiles. A tiny bed sits in the corner of the room, with fuzzy blue blankets covering the sleeping piglin child, Michael. With caution to avoid the toys scattered on the floor, Tubbo sits near the bed on a plump cushioned chair, setting his tray down on his lap. He takes his cup and sips from it, the hot but sweet mixture flowing into his mouth. He gulps slowly, savouring the taste of every mouthful he gathers. Finally, he sets the cup down on to the tray once more, turning to his book. It was in good condition despite how old it was, and the protagonists were painted on to the cover of it. He gently brushes his thumb along the pages, not yet opening it, but feeling the texture with such a delicacy that it was like it would fly away if he pressed any harder.

The blankets shift and he lifts his head to look at what had caused the movement. A puzzled smile crossed his lips as Tommy’s golden hair suddenly peeked out from under the blanket, catching his eyes. He laughs at Tommy’s face turning red.

“What are you doing here?” He’s still giggling even when asking this, having to put the book down a moment so he didn’t accidentally drop it and spook Michael.

“I’m not the only one,” Tommy mumbles. Sure enough, Ranboo’s head also rises out from under the blanket, and Tubbo keeps conscious of where his eyes are and where Ranboo’s are.

“Hey, Tubbo,” Ranboo greets with a sheepish smile, along with a tiny wave.

“You two still haven’t answered me: why are you both here?” Tubbo lightly wipes his hands along the bottom of his shirt, feeling the soft fabric between his fingers.

“Well, y’see, Michael really wanted us to come cuddle him. We’d been playing with him while you were busy, and then he got tired, so we decided to bring him to bed and he begged us to stay,” Tommy rambles, glancing to the still peacefully asleep Michael.

Ranboo nods with what Tommy says and adds on, “also, his bed is really comfy anyways, so we just couldn’t help it.”

Tubbo nods but he’s still snickering. Tommy and Ranboo glance away from him, and Tommy mutters under his breath about how annoying Tubbo is, but he’s trying to fight the smile that creeps up on his face. Neither had seen Tubbo this genuinely happy in a long while, so although they pretended to hate it- because they were being laughed at- they were so happy themselves.

Tubbo finally stops. “Would you two like it if I tucked you both in then? And read you a bedtime story?” He gestures to the book on the side. Ranboo nods, but Tommy takes time to consider it. Finally, though, he yawns and nods.

“Yeah, sure, why the fuck not?” Tommy lays back down and so does Ranboo. Tubbo tucks them in with the blanket up to their chests, then stamps a kiss on Michael’s head- the other two weren’t fans of affection.

He clears his throat and rests back into his chair, grabbing the book off from the side. He slowly opens it and begins to tell the story inside, occasionally pausing to look up at the two. His story that he chose today was about the main protagonist being stranded due to a storm collapsing his ship and separating him from his father. He meets another person, and together they work to achieve both of their goals, their friendship slowly growing over time.

Finally, he peeks up from the page he was on, light snoring heard from Tommy. Ranboo gave gentle warbles and his eyes were closed, too. Tubbo smiles and bookmarks the page he was on, standing. He ensures that the blanket is tucked up on all of them fairly, then exits the room and flicks the light off. He carries his tray back, which is now empty, and puts it on the side of the sink. He’ll wash it later.

He yawns and stretches his arms above his head, feeling his joints pop satisfyingly. The storm outside was still heavy, and the calming tap, tap, tap of rain against the windows was the only noise that accompanied Tubbo through the house, until he reached his own room.

It was a good night.

yeah this was fun

this was fun to make

i feel like c!Techno was a very emotional kid, always angry and scared. He lost his parents at a young age so he had to learn to live by himself, the only thing he could always rely on was on the unforgiving nature of the nether, the never ending violence of just existing in that dimension.

anyways michael is a very happy kid, but he's very confused all the time, he doesn't really understand he's a zombified piglin

so he ends up scaring techno and doesn't even notice

i started drawing before i read the whole thing so this is probably not exactly what you wanted, but i had fun anyways

y’know..... i just got to say it (DREAM SMP SPOILERS) TW RANT

now before i say it, it is fine if you like this character i’m not going to attack you for liking them but i need to get it off my chest.

((ALSO I AM ONLY TALKING ABOUT THE CHARACTER AND NOT THE YOUTUBER THAT PLAYS THEM))

FUCK SAM

i now fucking straight up hate him. this dude gets me sooooo pissed off with the shit he does as warden AND the shit he try to do to Michael_ beloved

ok at first his actions seem to make logical sense even if extreme. like what happen to ponk (y’know because of the egg and stuff)

but then the lock down happen, Now you THINK he wouldn’t just leave a kid in the same jail cell as they’re abuser all because of what they ABUSER wrote down as the rule of the jail, THAT THEY INTENDED FOR THE KID INSTEAD OF THEMSELVES. but sam is a different breed.

so no surprise tommy gets murder by dream. sam gets sad over this and morns him, also agrees to help quackity with torturing him as a form of justice.

BUT THEN,

when tommy ( the kid who wanted him in jail in the first place) and ghostbur sneak in the jail in order to kill him as revenge for killing him in the first place (also for the abuse he put him through) SAM NOT ONLY STOPS HIM, LEAVING GHOSTBUR BEHIND TO GET RESURRECTED.

BUT ALSO THREATENS TO KILL TOMMY AS WELL!!! WHAT A FUCKING GREAT DAD FIGURE /S

then finally..... taking ranboo as a hostage with threats of harming his baby, why ranboo? i don’t know! dream doesn't care about him

so why fucking use him!? why not George???

in conclusion: I REALLY HOPE SAM GETS KILLED BY TECHNOBLADE & TUBBO

hello what if your favorite dream smp headcanon

Like as a general? In the fandom? I'll tell you 5 I'm a bit extra.

The religious people being religious headcanon brings me joy so. cTommy, cDream, cQuackity and cMchill are for Prime, and cTechno is a Membership guy. The religions are different. cSam was raised religious but quit after a bit, Animal Crossing in the DSMP is a religious game that parents told their kids to play.

Limbo is a SMP specific error, I like to think that you can ask for your own SMP if you meet certain requirements, so when you become an admin it just means that you created a world inside a world in search for more resources and opportunities. Everything is the same as in the actual world, however, since no one knows what happens when you die. Limbo only happens in SMPs as a translation from world magic error. No one is aware of this cause well... you know. Normally, no one returns from the death.

cDream can shapeshift ^_^ normally into animals, he's not skilled enough to shapeshift into people. Only like. cTommy. Everyone else is so uncanny valley, you can tell from miles away it's very wrong. But with cTommy is an identical copy! Even in mannerisms and talk. Not in abilities tho, cDream CANNOT sew for the life of him.

cTommy can sew, cTommy told me herself. I am thinking of the specific style, I have been thinking too much about it recently. cTommy deserves a siluete and a basic style and ten trademarks at the very LEAST

You specifically might not like me for this one but Michael_'s favourite parent is cTubbo.

Chosen humans are assigned a task or a specific thing to help with. If a gods child isn't blood related to them, the highest rank they can earn is chosen

There have been cases of gods tricking people into chosenhood and essentially using them as slaves, therw is a legal system but it's a bit messed up so these cases take a while to get caught.

The Highlords as Descendants of Archangels

Are the Highlords descendants of the Archangels who were told to watch over the 10% of watchers who were not placed in the prison.

Is this the origin of the High Fae in Prythian, are they the watchers who did not sin against god, so can remain on earth under “supervision” of a High Lord/Archangel.

Highlords - do they only have male children? Is that why there are no high ladies because "high lord" is more than just a title passed down, but rather a recognition of their link to god, high, lord over others.

Are the high-lords the 7 angels (in the bible) in charge of watching the 10%of angels allowed to roam the earth.

And Michael is in charge of watching the prison.

Is this the reason why only Rhys’ blood opens the prison.

Is Rhys a descendant of Michael?

It is made to open the prison because every 1000 years those who are trapped are allowed to roam the earth again?

I haven’t decided but I think it is possible and there is some evidence to suggest it is the case.

So have a look at the notes I have gathered…….

The prison is guarded by beings that are nothing but shadows of thought and an ancient spell.

They only emerge at feeding time, or to deal with restless prisoners.

The prison is said to be law unto itself, and that it may as well be an eighth court.

However it falls under the Night Court's jurisdiction, and Rhysand's blood is keyed to the gates.

No prisoners have been able to escape the Prison, except for Amren who found a loophole in the spell and successfully freed herself.

Once the sentence is given and a prisoner passes the gates, they belong to the Prison.

No one can free a prisoner, not even the High Lord of the Night Court, Rhysand.

According to the apocryphal Book of Adam and Eve, Michael kept a close eye on the couple after they were expelled from the Garden of Eden. He taught Adam how to farm, and persuaded God to allow Adam’s soul to return to Heaven after he died

Michael guides departed souls to the next world (is this a parallel with Hades, who is also reflected in Rhyand’s character during ACOMAF)

Michael as protector and the leader of the army of God against the forces of evil.
