Ok, these are the only words I've written for my Bachelor fic continuation that I still haven't decided if I'm doing or not (let's be real, it's me, so very likely). And then after the cut... guys. GUYS I've been so extra.

If you had told her, seven months ago, that Ned Stark would be sitting on the living room couch with a bowl of popcorn on his lap, getting ready to watch the premiere of The Bachelor, she would have laughed in your face.

She feels divorced from reality – she knows, logically, that she is about to watch her season, but she can't quite make herself believe it. Her stomach swirls with sudden anxiety when she hears Renly's voice start the intro.

“How did we used to all fit?” mom grumbles as she joins dad on the couch. Bran is next to dad with Sansa on the other side, wedged between mom and the arm. Robb and Jeyne are on the loveseat and Arya and Rickon sit on the floor in front of the couch. Theon joins them, late as usual, and drags a chair out from the dining room and sets up next to the loveseat.

“Well, we were smaller back then,” is Robb's reply.

“Arya's still small,” Rickon says through a mouthful of Doritos, which he spits out when Arya gives his shoulder a shove.

“There he is!” Jeyne squeals, bringing their attention back to the TV screen – back to Jon, who's walking out onto the stage as the live audience (primarily made up of women in jewel-toned tops) screams and applauds.

Sansa's heart makes a mad, stuttering leap at the sight of him and squeezes painfully when she sees the tight smile that doesn't reach his eyes - it's his Jon the Bachelor smile. (She hates it.)

....

Ok so here's where I went too extra with this. I don't even know what I'm trying to accomplish, but I made Instagram profiles (pre show-airing) for the contestants... I know other people have done this waaaay better than me, but I had SO MUCH FUN making these. Here's a sampling. (I have Asha, Val, and Missandei done and I think I want to do some of the others JUST BECAUSE. These may never actually mean anything but oh well)

hey, i was wondering if you could make some dany headers of her when she saw missandei get beheaded. if you don't wanna do that scene, then could do the scene where dany eats the horse`s heart. and maybe some dany icons of her giving the slaves who were dying water please. i don't mind colours. thank you. :)

ok so i’m back ... kind of? did a re-do of my blog aesthetics. I’m soft for that jonerys scene so it had to be the header. i’m still weak af for them and also i reject the last material we’ve been handed. And i changed the caption and I love this so much more :’) Missandei’s words will forever be immortalized in our hearts.

anyway i’d like to say that the time i took off tumblr helped a great deal. I’m so detached from the show now. All i care about is Daenerys and nothing in this world can take that away from me. It’s a huge comfort to know that there are so many devoted AND casual fans alike who are mad about the way her character was written in the past couple of episodes. The actors are too. The petition to re-do Season 8 that’s close to hitting a million signs helps as well lol. There is NO doubt that the writers and HBO are seeing this, so are the actors and everyone involved. The uproar can’t be escaped. Kit really was having those panic attacks because of good reason. Emilia did wander around aimlessly for hours thinking about the negative reaction it would have from the audience. They all fucking knew. D & D might not be around to witness what happens after the finale but boy oh boy are they aware of the shit storm after the last 2 episodes. They KNOW they fucked up big time.

(As for GRRM, I’m pretty sure he has the same plan for Daenerys in the books so fuck him too I guess. I know a lot of people are just mad because of how her arc seemed so rushed at the end but I’m not just angry about the *how* I’m also angry about *why* it had to be this way in the first place. This type of story telling is just beyond nihilistic and I can’t support the show or the books because of it. And it’s not like he’s ever going to finish the series, so there’s that too. All we have is the garbage that D & D threw at us).

I would also like to thank @mhysaofdragons @muttpeeta @yocalio @lareinecersei @jonerys for their incredible blogs and helping me through this. Even though I wasn’t technically on here I was keeping up with your posts and it felt nice to not feel alone in what i was going through. So thank you for being amazing.

I think I’m finally ready to express my rage on here alongside you :) It feels therapeutic already !
