How would it have been if snoof had never found the key
Snoof would probably just cry about not being special or whatever, we’d never have to go to that Hellhole we call Mixopolis, and life would go on I guess.
I'm watched right time of first show as became my most favorite of Mixels Episodes! 🙂
After I watched any episode of Mixels, I started drew the arts as gained creative which I joined DeviantArt...
Well, I drew it in 4 days ago as I remember release date of episode.
Happy Anniversary of A Quest For The Lost Mixamajig!
My Favorite Mixels when after watched of A Quest For The Lost Mixamajig.
Series 5
Klinkers - Jinky
Frosticons Cousins (Frosticons 2015) - Snoof
Lixers - Tungster
Series 6
Weldos - Wuzzo
Glorp Corp Cousins (Glorp Corp 2015) - Dribbal
Munchos - Snax
actually I think snoof is getting in my brain too. they deserved better why'd mixamajig make them an asshole - 🎵
SAME, why'd they make them an ass? They're supposed to be a kid after all!
Anyway, alternative plot where it's just Snoof following Krog around because Chilbo isn't home and they get super stressed and Krig makes them a plush afterwards because he feels bad.
OK K.O. is a new series that come out of Cartoon Network recently but I just find something wrong with watching this series. I think OK K.O. is poorly animated in my opinion. I know there are people who like the show but it’s hard to watch a show knowing that every shot that is played makes me cringe a bit. I mean there is nothing wrong with the show in general. I do like the story, the characters and the fact that it takes place in a video game world. I also like the fact with the use of POW cards (great as a merchandise tie-in) but it’s the animation style that gets me. Whenever I watch an episode or so, I sometimes feel like I’m watching the PPG reboot or the Lost Mixamajig due to every shot being poorly rendered or leaving any necessary detail left unchecked. It feels like I’m watching an animation off Newgrounds instead of an animation being done at an actual studio.
Before OK K.O. became a series, there’s was a Cartoon Network pilot called Lakewood Plaza Turbo in case you guys aren’t familiar with it.
Despite being a pilot, the animation was clear, properly well-played and it looked stunning after all. Why didn’t they go with this animation in the first place?
Then came the OK K.O. app where it included shorts but were done in various animation styles.

At first, I was not disappointed seeing those shorts, but after the series came out, I started thinking to myself as to what is wrong with the animators. Why go through a different animation style every time a short comes out? I feel like the series is going through an “animation identity crisis” because the animators cannot make up their minds on how they want their show to be like.
That was when OK K.O. became an official series where out of all the animation styles they went through, they decided to make yet another different style where it resulted in a lazily, poorly animated style. I was disappointed to find out that they weren’t going to use the animation styles like they did in the shorts but instead use their own cheap brand of animation. Not only that, I’m assuming that this show is still going through an “animation identity crisis” with the though of having 50 different animators with each one drawing a different shot by shot. Basically like an animation collab you see on YouTube. There are some shots that were obviously seen as being good while they were some as being done horrendous. This series does not know how to “be itself” in most parts and still having trouble by trying to be another show instead of being OK K.O.
Here are more of my reasons why I think the show is poorly animated:
-The outlines are dramatically thick sometimes chalky and in some scenes sometimes too thin vice versa.
-Characters making ridiculous, wonky facial expressions like they are pretending to be in an anime.
-People’s fists looking like something you see in an Ojamajo Doremi episode because the animators were too lazy to draw actual fists.
-Even the opening was poorly done despite being made from a Japanese animation studio because all the characters turned into scribbles at one point.
-A Scratchy knock-off character making a few cameos in some episodes (doesn’t count as animation wise but the fact they put a finely-drawn Simpsons character in a cartoon like this questions me).
-Animators cannot make up their mind on whether to put a nose on character or not.
-Animators cannot make up their mind on whether to put color or black on a character’s pupils.
-Every episode seems undone and not finished.
Either it’s just me or Cartoon Network is known to slip up their messed up work nowadays without checking any of their missing progress before shipping episodes on the air. I apologize if I have upset anyone who is a fan of this show but I expected better from CN of making OK K.O. a better series. I do still find hope for OK K.O. by hoping that the animation does get better in future episodes or sometime next season but not dramatically change the style I mean.
you would have liked flain to have had more prominence in the specials
Absolutely he’s literally the fucking mascot yet he got absolutely shafted in 2015 and especially after Mixamajig, chubby fire penguin guy deserved better TBH.

I think that Moon Madness was the best arc in the whole series
I remember being excited about the special coming out when I was younger. The cousins, orbitons, and glowkies seemed so well designed and interesting. And the special was longer than the shorts so we see more of the characters and how their personalities are like. They also had a song for once. And the ending of the episode is what hyped me up. While the nixels were ranting about the mixels, The main antagonist, king nixel made his first appearance. I remember first watching that scene thinking that crap was really gonna go down and that we were finally gonna have an important plot in the show. But sadly, it was rushed by the mixamajig special and king nixel didn't really seem that intimidating. Also we never got to see the older mixels again like Lunk,Flain, and Krader. I kinda thought the mixopolis arc seemed pretty mundane to me. The mixels went from fixing it with a mix it, to millyrocking to defeat the nixels. It was a really disappointing ending.
M3 really was where the series peaked. And as much as that episode is my personal favorite for me, we should all know how things went downhill, and fast.
