In the special, why emonette couldn't make a wish? Was it because of Supreme leader?

hello october anon, i'm very sorry for the delay i've had such a time but believe me when i say toxigriffe hasn't left my brain. i'm about to give you so much more of an answer to what you asked (but dw there will be pictures)

so it looks like whatever seal plikki have on their mouths does belong to the supreme. and it appears that even in their true forms this seal still lasts.

and it's not just a block either. it seems like resisting actually hurts plikki, like a shock collar.

and then right after marinette makes the wish, the seal appears again beneath her feet.

whatever power the supreme has, it's more powerful than the wish. but what could have made the supreme so powerful to begin with? my theory is this: the supreme got a hold of the ladybug and black cat miraculous (maybe even the whole miracle box) and made a wish. we don't know what it was, but it seems that there's evidence enough to back up the inclusion of the clause that no one can supercede their wish. that's what makes them the supreme.

lets take a look at what the miracle box looks like in fu and then marinette's possesion:

and then here's the supreme's (from the intro), complete with their symbol and everything:

doesn't it look like the symbol of the order of the guardians?? just with an x superimposed over it??? and since fu had the lb & bc miraculouses at the start of the series, maybe this miracle box that the supreme acquired as the guardian also had those miraculous. that's how toxigriffe ended up getting their proper miraculous in the paris special!!

i think the intro is telling us a story of what happened, actually. first, the supreme got a hold of the miracle box. next, they made a wish. (i assume it's an image of the wish, given what the wish looked like in re-creation)

the image splits into hexagons, with the one with the wish happening forming in the center. i'm guessing all those other hexagons are parallel worlds, and this world in the center is the one the supreme became the supreme of

then we get an image of this person, who i assume is the supreme, given the giant x they are standing in front of - the same symbol that blocks the guardian insignia on the box and on plikki's mouths. like all the fractured worlds featured in the previous image, the supreme stands in the midst of fractured pieces of what looks like glass.

maybe all the shards represent worlds the supreme has tried to take over before, but failed to. maybe they are all the worlds the supreme has conquered already. or maybe the broken mirrors are meant to parallel the supreme to poor emonette, whose misuse of her powers (under the supreme's threat of her life) have fractured her body and soul.

but unlike emonette, the supreme doesn't have the miraculous of creation. the supreme isn't the girl who can fix anything.

SPEAKING OF WHICH, YOU WANNA KNOW WHO I THINK IT IS? (you know who i think it is!!)

to begin with, we get this sneak peek of the supreme's suit. those colors are unmistakeably purple and gray (and green but idk why that's there).

who know who else would have a purple suit?

maybe there's a reason the supreme wants the butterfly back so badly. the toxigriffe universe is a universe where the supreme doesn't have a complete miracle box after all. at least, it was when we left off.

As the new imagery comes out for S6, I can't help but form this new view of Marinette as too cool for school...but not in a good way.

When she made that choice to hide everything from Adrien...that was way too much for one person to decide. She's taken the law into her own hands, and the very fact that she thinks she had that right is a bad sign. She can try to justify it all she wants based on good intentions, but fact remains that she has too much power...and power corrupts.

What the writers have done is start a Marinette villain arc. The problem is they don't seem to see it and we keep being told it's feminist. But it's not. Women can go just as evil as men, and it starts with stuff like this. Shadybug is on her way.

As disappointed as I was that Adrien wasn't in that finale, I will accept it...but I can't accept people lying to him. They HAVE to have Marinette confess everything to Adrien and make HUGE amends to keep me on side with her now. As things stand, she is a corrupted hero on a dark path. If that's the point, then fine...but everything I've seen from the writers tells me they don't see what they've done.

So, they paired Kagami with Felix instead of Adrien. After all that talk about looks are not whats important she gets paired with adriens identitcal cousin.

Now let's look at Kagami in the plot. We all know she was introduced as a love rival for marinette. Adrigami and Lukanette just kinda happened in season 3 there (for like 2 seconds but still).

And I'm not saying Luka's any similar to Kagami because he isnt but what if they try doing the same thing to him they did to kagami, pairing him up with ANOTHER girl with dark hair and blue eyes. Hmm, let's see, who do we know with the same looks as Marinette...

Who used it?!

The sentimonster topic has always been very interesting to talk about, but recently, as I was conversing with a fellow Miraculer, whom has asked to be referred to as “Sunny D”, something new came to light. As a quick refresher, just as any miraculous, if the peacock miraculous is used when in a broken state, the holder will receive a terrible backlash that will not only make them ill, but inevitably lead to their death. No human medical knowledge can heal the effects from a broken miraculous, because no such human cure or treatment exists to treat such magical side effects. 

Now, throughout the series, we have already been subtly hinted of there potentially being numerous sentimonsters in the series, most notably by all the references to feathers, such as the ones we saw in the “Adrien the Fragrance” ad back in ”Gorizilla”, being a clear sign of the various amoks/sentimonsters in the series who were always close to Adrien.

Felix and Adrien were always prime sentimonster suspects for years, but we knew there had to be more, and sure enough, one of the people on that list of potential sentimonsters was narrowed down to Kagami, who not only had a very strict and controlled way of life, but was also among the few with a mom that was close to Gabriel, meaning she to could share in the secret of the peacock miraculous. Confirmation of Kagami being a sentimonster along with Adrien and Felix, was quickly obtained near the end of “Perfection”, when Tomoe revealed that Kagami had an amok in the family ring. 

(Tomoe lashed out at Gabriel, after learning he sent a megakuma to Kagami’s ring, if the amok is released, Kagami will disapear. In “Emotion”, Felix further confirmed things, the moment we saw him sense Kagami's amok in her ring.)

But even with knowing now that there were three official sentimonsters in “Emotion” alone, the three being of course, Felix, Adrien and Kagami, we forgot that we don’t actually know the full backstory on how Kagami was created, at least not yet anyway. There is a grim fate to anyone who uses the broken peacock miraculous, so who used it to create Kagami? Tomoe is still alive and healthy, so did someone else create Kagami for Tomoe?

 Back in "Riposte", we learn through Adrien’s online search that the Tsurugi's were mainly comprised of a grandfather, Kagami, and Tomoe, but no spouse is talked of. We don’t know much about Tomoe and the rest of the Tsurugi family line just yet, but it wouldn’t be to shocking to know that Tomoe was the last of her families lineage and wanted to have a kid on her own without a spouse. But regardless of what she could have told the public and Kagami to cover up the truth about the peacock miraculous, it feels like there is some darker truth Tomoe has not yet revealed to the audience.

With no one else but a grandfather in her life, Tomoe could have sought the help of her only remaining family to help her by asking him to use the peacock miraculous for her, but considering the circumstances of Kagami’s way of life, Tomoe could have also brought it upon herself to create the “perfect” child she envisioned, a child who would uphold the Tsurugi family name exactly as she wanted. Of course, if Tomoe used the peacock miraculous and is still alive, then there is a possibility she used the peacock miraculous before it was broken.

No matter how far back we trace the peacock miraculous, we know that it was broken when Emelie used it, but we don’t know how it was broken or exactly when. For all we know, the peacock miraculous would have still been completely in tact when it was found along with the butterfly miraculous all those years ago, but was placed into a situation, not long after it was found, which gave it its first crack, and then later forced that small crack to spread, honestly who knows. We know that whoever uses it in its broken state would face the same fate as Emelie, Colt(Felix’s dad), and Nathalie, worst of all, nothing humanly possible could save them once they used its power. 

So, if the Tsurugi Grandfather used it to bring Kagami into the world and passed away a few years after that, no one would be suspicious of an elderly man passing on. But if Tomoe was potentially the last person to use the peacock miraculous before it was officially broken, then she must have received some sort of side effect that was not necessarily life threatening, but still very sudden and impactful onto her life none the less, such as loosing her vision. But again, lets just wait and see what the show has to say.

Miraculous Season 6 Speculation

I pulled up this post I made after the season 4 finale to see how close I came with my predictions about season 5. Despite getting pretty much everything wrong, I did nail a few things:

Gabriel was unable to handle the power of all the Miraculous, at least at first

Felix used his control over sentibeings to target Gabriel (although notably not Adrien, whom he was trying to save if anything)

Alya regained the Fox Miraculous (admittedly in the last ep and alongside all the other previous holders)

Marinette fell in love with Chat Noir, complicating her feelings for Adrien

Luka was placed in an impossible position because he knows too much

Natalie's health declined to the point of incapacitation (although I didn’t anticipate the same with Gabriel)

Chloe and Lila established an alliance that ultimately went south

I admit most of these predictions were obvious and easily anticipated. I’d rather not embarrass myself by going too far inside M. Astruc’s head, but I can’t help speculating about what the next season holds.

Hence, I’d like to suggest a few plot threads I anticipate showing up during season 6:

Everyone assumed Cerise would be the new antagonist, using the Butterfly Miraculous to further her vendetta against Marinette and/or seize the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous to forge a wish of her own. But Cerise’s panic in the last seconds of the ep suggests she’s encountered a powerful force she can’t control. This is the new enemy, although Cerise will become its servant and vessel if it means fulfilling her revenge.

This entity will be far more dangerous than Gabriel ever was, unbound by human emotion or empathy. It will be capable of neutralizing and even possessing the new and inexperienced Miraculous holders, forcing Ladybug to create a new power-up.

Who or what exactly is it? It will either be connected to Nooroo, driven insane by a damaged Miraculous, or Tomoe Tsurugi, the only player in Gabriel’s “Perfect Alliance” gambit who didn’t get anything she wanted.

Other plot points ripe for exploration:

Adrien and Marinette’s romance is plagued by lingering feelings of attraction for Ladybug and Chat Noir, respectively. They break up over it for at least one episode because one of them suspects there’s “someone else”. One of them gets possessed over it. However, Adrinette comes back stronger than ever, reinforced by better communication, more trust, and the realization that the other one isn’t perfect and that’s okay.

One of the other couples also breaks up or gets in an argument, again for only one episode and also involving possession.

Almost everyone believes Gabriel died a hero—except for Marinette, Felix, Kagami, Nathalie, and Amelie. One of them (and you all know which one) accidentally lets the butterfly out of the bag. Angst and drama ensue.

Amelie moves into Maison Agreste as Adrien’s legal guardian. It gives Adrien and Felix the chance to rebuild their relationship as cousins and friends. But certain members of the MiracuClass still don’t completely trust Felix. It causes problems when they realize he’s Argos.

The new Miraculous holders don’t know what the hell they’re doing and make all kinds of mistakes. They use their powers for selfish reasons, and LB and CN must save them from their own messes. They swap Miraculous without even telling Ladybug. They keep revealing their secret identities to each other. They upset, misplace, or lose control of their Kwamis. They get possessed by the new antagonist and use their Miraculous powers against Ladybug and Chat Noir. If Luka teaches any of them Mirakung Fu, someone's gonna kick one of their best friends in the face. Marinette briefly considers taking all the Miraculous back until an attack on her personally confirms she had the right idea. She starts relying more on Chat Noir as a mentor, and occasionally an enforcer, for the other holders.

Cerise joins the MiracuClass at the new school Miss Bustier created. Marinette’s the only one who recognizes Cerise as Lila, but everyone else thinks Marinette is nuts.

Chloe returns to Paris mid-season, discarded by her mother and with nowhere else to go. Andre reluctantly takes her in, and it turns out she learned nothing—she blames Ladybug for everything that went wrong in her life and will stop at nothing to get revenge. She may enroll at Marinette’s school in disguise and forge an alliance with Cerise, not realizing she herself is Lila in disguise, to “get” Marinette.

Sabrina and Marc’s mutual love of soccer leads the former to develop a crush on the latter. It ends well for no one.

And finally, Luka gets his own love interest, if only because he damn well deserves it.

Quelque chose qui je pense mérite d'être soulevé est le fait que Marinette qui cache la vérité à Adrien au sujet de son père. Pourrait être un possible tiraillement pour elle, elle n'aime pas mentir mais elle se retrouve dans une position où elle s'est sentie obliger de lui mentir. Et je pense pas qu'elle ait le coeur léger en faisant ça. Peut être qu'elle se convaincra qu'elle fait ça pour le protéger. Mais je pense pas que la vérité concernant Gabriel sera caché très longtemps dans la saison 6. Soit Marinette, Felix ou Nathalie vont le lui dire soit quelqu'un d'autre va lui dire. Ou bien Adrien va le découvrir par lui même et là ce sera pas beau à voir.

Something I think deserves to be brought up is the fact that Marinette hides the truth from Adrien about her father. Could be a possible tug for her, she doesn't like lying but she finds herself in a position where she felt obliged to lie to him. And I don't think her heart's in it. Maybe she'll convince herself she's doing it to protect him. But I don't think the truth about Gabriel will be hidden for very long in season 6. Either Marinette, Felix or Nathalie will tell him or someone else will. Or Adrien's going to find out on his own, and that's going to be a mess.

hey, i just wanted to ask what you think of s5 so far? are you liking, does it meet ur expectations or are you underwhelmed?

It's hard to have conclusive thoughts about certain aspecrs without the whole season being out. I will say it's been frustrating to have networks air episodes so far out of order and no consistent schedule, but that's always been ML 🫠 The thing really hurting from that is the activity from the fandom on Tumblr imo 🥲

SPOILERS FOR S5 EPISODES 1-11!!!!!

With that said I have been enjoying the first 11 episodes (I believe it's been 11 at least in order right hahaa)!. I was one of the people that was not very critical to how episodic it was previous, but I am delighted to see the big plot points unfold! My expectations for season 5 (and please if somebody who has read the leaks or watch the episodes out of order keep comments to yourself about my speculations PLEASE) is that we will have a reveal and Monarch will be defeated. Soooooooo hopefully those will play out well 😬

Honestly the only thing the show has done this that I was skeptical about was have Adrienette confession. I always hoped we would have the identity reveal before that and s6 would have post reveal pre-relationship shenanigans. BUT what is making up for it is how slow burn it is I do not want them to rush and date. I want them to slowly build their comfort level in their relationship so I am happy that is happening. I predict (again please NO LEAK COMMENTS sorry but anytime I speculate somebody gotta mention "well according to the bible 🤓") that Marinette will only be able to say I love you to Adrien when she realizes he is Chat Noir which would be very cute.

And I lied there is a thing I wasn't very happy about and it was Marinette and Adrien having their Miraculous revoked by their Kwamis and them giving it to Alya and Zoé. It felt too weird... and forced? Ladynoir never really addressed it after... Nobody seemed bothered that their fav superheros just left.... Marinette never questions why Chat Noir had to go... and Zoé was such a random person to receive it and I am just not invested in her storyline so it took up too much time when the focus should of been the Love Square. I am happy part 2 wrapped that up and we got to see Marinette in action with no suit THAT WAS AWESOME. And Adrien taking the earrings ICONIC. So while I didn't enjoy part 1 the ending of part 2 really made me feel good.

Sorry I am rambling I appreciate being asked 🥹 I usually keep most my thoughts in a private GC especially with bible leakers sniping commentary posts it is hard to share. I love this show so much it's my guilty pleasure and I still have a positive outlook on it! I just hope in my soul that the identity reveal is god-tier and that their relationship start is to my taste. I also look forward to the Agreste plotline and my little monster Adrien senti-plot cause whether people like it or not it is very clear he is one and love that for him <3

What are your speculations about miraculous ladybug season 6 that could happened?

Idk. If that ml s6 bible is real (I'm gonna check tomorrow to see if's confirm or not or I wait more time) then no need. Otherwise I just only see at most 3-4 important things that could happen.

Adrien being told the truth of his father and how it will affect him.

Lila drawing Chloe further to be absolutely dependent towards her while Chloe would want revenge upon everyone who put her where she is now. Would rather want to see Chloe be independent and rely on no one anymore. Make new friends a live her life. If she feels really wronged, she'd cut that specific person off instead. Perhaps learn the limits she could go and not escalate the situation.

Lila making the future fully uncertain future (future bunnyx won't be able to do anything anymore like breaking or the rabbit miraculous destroyed). I would like to see though Miraculouses being broken or destroyed which would lower or ruin the heroes morale. Or something crazy like akumatizing or controlling heroes to use broken miraculouses (which harms them in the long run (maybe a later season). Be a ring around the rosie game.

There is also Lila with her other identities. Keep your friends close but your Vermins closer. Sabrina being in danger too. There is a lot of ways Marinette is screwed in expense of her friends or herself. She should have dealt with Rossi things as Ladybug only. Marinette herself is a hot topic area to visit. They sell goods. Chrysalis could spawn around lurk and ruin the goods their.

I'm gonna stop because the more I talk about Marinette, the more I'm like why do you put a bullseye target upon yourself and if Marinette stalls for a season or Natalie stalls telling Adrien the truth, the more screw one or both of them are likely (unless forgiving bs happens). Worst case scenario, Changling Queen shows the world the truth. I also would like something to trigger Lila to realize Marinette is Ladybug by a flashback trigger and it would make it all more sastifying. Wouldn't matter either way of later on after telling Adrien the truth or before. It's quite difficult for me to not dislike Marinette at least.

With how S5 finale went, Lila has all the potential and most of the informations to make this a reality for S6-7.

Cause now im also seeing rumours such: ladybugs nd cat noir’s memories were erased of everything. that happened until now. (Not adrien and marinette’s memories itself but like..when they were transformed)

Correct - he rewrote it. They were very clear about the rules. You get one wish and it involves a sacrifice of equal weight. Only that exchange should be different.

Where I get confused is over the notion that it's Emilie at the pool party at the very end. If it is, then both she and Nathalie are restored to health, and I call that two wishes, not one. If that was Amelie by the pool, I accept it - his wish was for Nathalie, which was the right thing to ask for. However, what did Gabriel sacrifice? Because if it was his life for hers (possibly theirs), I don't think that's of equal weight. He said he only had hours (by that point, probably minutes) left to live, due to the cataclysm. We saw his finger crumble right off. Is that really a sacrifice, if it's about to happen anyway?? Either the writers don't see that the way I do, or Gabriel sacrificed something else that we have yet to see.

But to return to your question - at the end, Marinette is in her bedroom with Alya and Su-Han and she tells them she went back to the basement to search for the butterfly miraculous but never found it. She also refers to the wish having been made. From that, we can deduce that:

She's told Alya and Su-Han all of this (because she just mentioned details to them, casually, and they weren't surprised, so they already knew)

When she then slides the twin rings on Adrien's finger, her words are double-edged and highly suggestive that she knows he's a sentibeing. We can even see it as her using the rings to give him an order not to take them off. I get that its for his safety but...just tell him. That is so wrong, Marinette.

Also, when he's about to make his wish, Gabriel asks Marinette not to tell Adrien what he did / who he was. He wouldn't ask that if everyone's memories were about to be lost. We can then infer that she has decided to keep that promise to Gabriel, for the sake of Adrien (which I totally disagree with, but that's by the by). Therefore, she's told everyone else that Gabriel helped her defeat Monarch and died in the process, going down as a hero. However, it's very clear that she remembers the truth and she's told select other people, as well. (She needs to tell Cat Noir - like...a;skldfj;lskjf this is why I write fan fiction)

As a final point...as per the rules laid out by Gimmi, people's memories being erased would have to be part of the wish, and there would need to be a sacrifice made to balance it out. If you outright wished for memory erasure, I'm not sure what the sacrifice would be. Maybe someone else gets burdened with heaps of awful, painful memories so that someone else doesn't have them?? Anyway, when we see Adrien at that pool party...it's so brief that we have no way of knowing what he remembers. Maybe he does remember the white room but he's choosing to move on from it because he believes (due to Ladybug's lie) that in the end, his father did a wonderful thing. Or maybe Adrien doesn't remember the white room because the nature of Gabriel's wish included wiping that away.

If Gabriel restored Nathalie to health, maybe all memories are the same but people believe she had a miraculous recovery. If he brought Emilie back to life, too, that would necessitate some altered memories, for sure, because how could you explain to everyone that she just came back from the dead?? So, I guess everyone could now believe she was always alive (although this creates a paradox because Gabriel never would've done everything he did to bring her back and even make that wish, if she'd always been there, and this is where it really messes with my head).

But then...does Marinette remember Emilie used to be dead?? Because she remembers the battle and the wish being made - so who in this rewritten reality knows what previously happened to Emilie?

Alternatively...you know, they always refer to Emilie as having 'disappeared'.... Apparently, Thomas once said there was a funeral, but they never actually show or refer to this anywhere in the show, and even if there was a funeral, they couldn't have had a body because Gabriel had to keep her preserved. It must have been one of those symbolic funerals they do when they presume someone dead but have no firm evidence. If she only disappeared, then no one knows she died and she could well have a sudden, miraculous reappearance, which would make a lot more sense and avoid issues of paradox. (All that said...I'm not sure the writers have thought this through to that degree....)

No matter what's going on in this new world...it definitely hasn't all been reset. Things have just been altered, and we will find out the specifics in S6.
