I wasn't sure what a phantom thief was at first, but after research, all I can say is: I love the idea of it. Anyway-- phantom always makes me think of the phantom of the opera,,

𔘓 Whenever there's a case about you, he tries not to interfere with it much. He instead talks with you about it. Oooor, he is able to figure it out himself and then asks if you did it.

𔘓 You unintentionally help expand his detective skills. And your phantom thief skills evolve as well. You're going toe to toe, playing some kind of cat and mouse type game.

𔘓 I take it back, this doesn't even have to be an enemies to lovers, it's just a very interesting dynamic ~

⬥ He is impressed, don't get me wrong, but Amami ponders on the morality of it.

⬥ Being the ultimate phantom thief can be dangerous. So, when you come back home, very late at night, you're met with Rantaro crossing his arms. He knows it a part of being a phantom thief, but that doesn't mean he can't worry.

⬥ See, the cool thing about Rantaro being an adventurer, is that you often go on trips to various places all over the world. Which makes it easier to keep your identity a secret. Once the ultimate phantom thief is in Japan, next thing you know, they're already far away in Poland. You see what I mean? Inconsistency in their 'last spotted' location makes it impossible to figure out where they're from.

⬥ Which means you and Rantaro can live a kinda-peaceful life, only kinda.

heavy blankets on her body, with her hand peeking out; and then her hand on the bed’s empty space; those were the things within her vision, and the things she felt, once her eyes fluttered open.

her fingers moved against the sheets, and held a loose grip onto them. the yearn she felt, and the thoughts that weighed her; were the things she remembered. those were the things present yesterday, and years before yesterday, and will be present today.

after a few minutes of laying on her side, she began positioning herself. she guided herself to sit on the bed, and to rest her hands onto her lap. her head dropped low, immediately taking in the view of fingers making little movement. her eyes were still, not expressing the loud thoughts banging in her head. 

for a few minutes, the silence was the company along with the scorching words and scenarios tying her down. yet a pause to her brain appeared, once her head perked up as the sound of footsteps peeked in. she focused on the door, with an underlying thought slowly creeping in.

will he come?

loose fists were formed, and her lungs held air, giving a heavy weight to her chest. 

the air once captured finally waved through her parted lips. 

he’s gone.

so there she went, dragging her body to chase after him again. one step, two step, many steps to the bathroom was the first step to her journey. her hands reached for this, this, and that. her eyes looked here, to there, and over there. the mirror held the dazed look in her eyes, and the stiff movements she made to doll herself up. 

the process was quick, to hurry herself to where she figured he’d be. silently, she observed him as she walked towards the kitchen.

with his body bent, he scanned the contents in the refrigerator. while the sounds of her footsteps became louder, his focus slowly traveled towards the woman searching for him. 

“you’re… here early,” she mentioned, finally stopping her movement in the kitchen. she watched as shuichi paused his search, in order to stand up and turn around, for his body to face hers.

“i was watching a show,” his head tilted up, and his eyes looked into her own for a brief moment. the slight smile faltered before he continued, “since i couldn’t go back to sleep.”

she tilted her head, as her lips were shaped straight. blinking while the vision of his familiar, yet observing face, was present once he looked at her. his breath hitched for a few seconds, as he inhaled.

“i guess i just had a lot of thoughts in my head...” shuichi breathed out, before his eyes steered away from her confused expression.

her arms moved behind her, then her fingers played with her other ones. deep within her stomach came something brewing in, while her heart felt low. “oh, i interrupted you,” she spoke out, attempting to remove any emotion from her words, as her lips lowered.

“it’s nothing, really.” 

“so…” he continued, slowly guiding his eyes to the floor, “i didn’t find anything i want. i’ll just go out a-,”

“w-wait!” after she blurted, her hands briskly clenched his shoulders. in a quick pace, his eyes went to the woman’s close face. his body lightly jumped as tension invaded through his limbs, resulting in fists that formed for a few moments. all while her eyes squinted from a smile that slowly turned wider, going along with her slightly widened eyes. “i’ll make you something!” her tone picked up, forcing an eager tone into his ears as he felt the trembles of her gripping hands.

shuichi gathered himself, and in result, the tension flowed away. with ease, his hands went on top of hers, for his fingers to caress hers, before gently guiding her hands to hang besides her own body. “a-ah! that’s not necessary,” a light smile appeared on his features, after his honest words were spoken his soft tone.

despite his sentence being voiced with care, it broke her smile, and proceeded to weigh down her features. “but i like…” she started low before her head hung low, as the air she forced into her chest creeped into her words, “helping you…” the continuation fainted into the atmosphere that gotten heavy once her thoughts hovered over her shivering body.

she stopped, trying to restrict herself from becoming too forceful. silently, her head lifted up, with a full smile painted on her face. 

yet it just kept breaking.

there were so many thoughts running through her head; the words just wouldn’t stop coming and she tried to bury it all down with a smile and a clinging hand onto his wrist.

“i just… don’t want you to go…” the smile was ditched, now placed with the frown she could no longer hide, and so she dared to slip out the overwhelming storm dragging her deeper, “please,” a crack to her voice was present through the higher pitch of her plea.

his wide eyes finally blinked, taking in the switch of her behavior. there were more to her pleas. the gloss covered her eyes; the stare barely hid the emotions that were now spilled out, over and over again for every tremble that he felt on his skin. then his focus went to the gripping hand on his wrist, chaining him to the kitchen’s floors.

the build up of desperation bursted out; seen to her lover’s eyes, yet again. 

“...i’m not going anywhere.” 

shuichi stated. without a stutter; without any falters, and by choice, without any price.

once she broke the chains she implemented, he moved his body closer to hers. 

warm air was shared between the two bodies that became close from shuichi’s embrace.

first were tears dripping through widened eyes, then harsh gasps that couldn’t be contained against his figure. 

then a hand to her back, moving gently to bring ease to her shaking body.

“i love you so much.”

she held in a gasp, as she didn’t dare hesitate to look at him. shuichi’s inner eyebrows lifted up, while a smile expressed the mixture of sad and sweet emotions accompanying him. his hand went to her face; his thumb was placed on her warm skin, moving softly, as an attempt to swipe hot tears from her cheeks. and though her tears kept overflowing with quick speed, he appreciated the stare she gave; taking notice of the care he gave, and in return, giving eyes that were heavy from the love she felt.

if only air wasn’t being forced in and out, for the repetitive pressure of her chest to be present; and if only she had the strength to keep her from drowning; she would’ve told him she loved him by words.

i might make an alternative version where y/n is addressed with they/them pronouns. not sure. anywayssss, requests r open :3

(and ill explain what is adhd, ADHD is one of the most common mental disorders affecting children and this may last until adulthood. Symptoms of ADHD include inattention (not being able to keep focus), hyperactivity (excess movement that is not fitting to the setting) and impulsivity (hasty acts that occur in the moment without thought).

Rantaro, Shuichi and Kaito with S/O that has ADHD

Rantaro

- Rantaro is a very patient man. He had 12 sisters.

- He is able to deal with many types of people, erratic, calm, childish, etc..

- That being said, he can most definitely handle your ADHD well.

- Rantaro likes to hear your ramblings, your current obsessions/interests..

- Just likes hearing your voice in general tbh

- He’s very observant and can tell whenever you get overwhelmed or overstimulated with your current surroundings and will help you get through it.

- Rantaro also will help you bring your attention back to important topics/tasks.

- Rantaro constantly reminds you to take care of yourself, make sure to eat, make sure to sleep because you seem to forget to do these things

- He also helps you understand things you don’t really get right away

- If you’re having trouble in school, wether it’s because you don’t quite get the assignments, you just forget to do them or you have trouble focusing on the assignment, he’ll help you!

- Rantaro constantly tries to make sure you feel comfortable, making sure that you’ll be fine

- There are times where you’re telling a story and then you go off topic and forget what you’re talking about, so he reminds you

- Even though Rantaro does get a bit overwhelmed himself sometimes, it doesn’t stop him from being there for you

Shuichi

- Shuichi is a calm person. He’s also semi quiet and often tries to keep his thoughts to himself.

- You, on the other hand, are the complete opposite.

- Constant energy, not able to stay still, difficulty focusing..

- It overwhelms him, it drains a lot of energy out of him.

- Now even though you constantly tire him out with your excessive movements, he does try to help

- Shuichi tries to simplify his thought process as much as he can so you can keep up with him.

“Uhm…huh?”

“Basically he was scared that he was going to get caught and that’s why he did what he did.”

“Oh!”

- He’ll let you fidget with his fingers with you need something to fidget with (although he’ll be a bit embarrassed bc…touch)

- He’ll also help you catch up on any late assignments or assignments that you haven’t done yet because you get distracted too easily

Kaito

- Kaito is very energetic and loud. He matches your energy well.

- Kaito is very passionate just like you with your interests!

- He’ll listen to everything you say with a smile on his face.

- He also gets mad at people who get frustrated with you.

- I dont think Kaito is academically smart so he can’t help you there BUT

- Like in the game, Kaito can give good advice to you

- Kaito also can read people very well so he can tell whenever you get overstimulated and stressed out
