A Nonvirmina/Nonpuerella identity that varies in intensity over time. This can be gradually, rapidly, or any speed in-between depending on the person.
A Nonvirmina/Nonpuerella identity that is also Genderflux
The first flag is formatted after the most common Genderflux flag format using the colors of the Nonvirmina/Nonpuerella flag.
The second includes the four-point star and border elements of the alternate Nonvirmina/Nonpuerella flag.
Requested by anon
( Image IDs. The first image is a flag with six stripes, all equally sized. In order they are pale purple, white, black, pink, blue, and light green.
The second image is a flag with a dark indigo border around it. Inside of the purple border is the first flag, a lavender purple four-point star is overlayed on top of it. End IDs. )

day 6 for @cocajimmycola‘s icon challenge: dynamic duos!
here’s my favorite dynamic duo, poison and hugo! poison is a canon trans woman, which i love how her character has progressed from a stereotype of trans women being overtly sexual dominatrixes into being a rather deep character of her own where sexuality is only just PART of her character, just like sexuality or the lack of it is part of us, and i LOVE her best friend and platonic partner (arguably QUEERplatonic partner) hugo! hugo started as a reference to andre the giant, and now he’s pretty much his own character, loving his mother, comparing himself to a potato in the senses of growth and thriving in any environment (which would be a pretty potent metaphor for queer people in general!) and being loyal to everyone!
anyway, i decided i’d just leave poison’s flags as trans and queer, because imo she’s probably queer in the sense of “i defy labels, categories, and common identities for my sexuality; i am a snake escaping bear traps that try to capture me”, though my hugo headcanons are fairly self indulgent. in my headcanon, he’s pansexual, allogreyro, and nonvirmina (though he doesn’t like to label his gender further than “masculine and feminine but not male or female”)!
i’m sorry for the huge ramble on the two, i just love poison and hugo so much and these pictures of them in particular (partially because poison looks arguably fairly butch in these pictures, and because hugo looks so darn cute)

idea: virminamoric. the combination of viramoric and feminamoric. the word comes from virmina in nonvirmina, as it's a combination of vir and femina prefixes

MEIKA Hime from Vocaloid is an irrexian pansexual agender genderfeor kevatagender evari who has been experimenting with pronouns for a while and recently decided to use fleur/fleurs and they/them pronouns! Inavire, Nonpuerella/Nonpurella or Nonvirmina: being neither male or female in any shape or form but feeling a strong connection to both masculinity and femininity within their gender. Combines nonera/nonpuella and nonvir/nonpuer.
Pleonotic: gender experience of someone who does not use other synonymous identities to describe their own gender identity. Ex: nongirl woman; nonman nonboy guy.

nonpue* gender problems
wanting to present masculinely/femininely, but not wanting to be seen as a boy/girl
(which may or may not lead to some sort of paradoxical dysphoria)
not really being “binary aligned” just because of a relationship to masculinity/femininity, but not being “completely outside of the binary” either because masculinity and femininity are concepts based on binary genders
people may get your gender really easily. or they may not
the insistence that nonbinary genders must be neutral, nonexistent or completely outside of the binary
the insistence that nonbinary people who are masculine or feminine are not trying hard enough
not having anyone around with similar gender experiences, at least in most places

How do you know a id and its definition works for you? Should I feel something? Or identify with it to a degree?
Hmmm. I think it varies from person to person: some people are like “ehh, this doesn’t fit me that much, but that’s ok”, some people refuse to take labels unless they fit more specific experiences, some people like broader labels and feel like those fit them already.
For my orientations, it was always a matter of fitting the description. I identified as asexual when I had never felt attraction, then as demisexual when I felt sexual attraction for my first boyfriend, then as biromantic when I discovered I could fall in love with people other than men, then as aroflux when I started thinking about how there were periods of my life when I had tons of crushes and other long periods when I had no crushes or was even romance-repulsed.
For my gender, it was more of a nagging feeling that something wasn’t right, followed by a search for a new label, followed by relief when I found something that fit me, followed by that nagging feeling again. I’ve been identifying as a nonvirmina for roughly a year now, but you can never know!
But I know some people never search for labels that might fit them better, they just randomly come across one that fits them better and start identifying as that label.
I think that, for a lot of people, the important thing about identities is to have something that describes your experiences. This doesn’t mean they have to be completely accurate - labels like nonbinary or genderfluid cover a lot of different experiences - but this means it’s something you can use when people ask what is your gender or orientation, and you feel safe telling them about those.
Of course, if you are completely unsure or feel like no labels fit you, you can just not use labels. There are also labels that cover not wanting to explain things or not having anything that really fits, such as queer, pomosexual or nullgender.
I don’t know what else I can say about this, but feel free to send more questions about your situation.

Nonpuerella or Nonvirmina
Nonpuerella or Nonvirmina: A combination of nonpuella/nonera and nonpuer/nonvir; being neither male or female in any shape or form but feeling a strong connection to both masculinity and femininity within their gender.
Nonpuella/Nonera is the feminine equivalent, and Nonpuer/Nonvir is the masculine equivalent.
Term coined by: Unknown

[Image: A flag with 7 stripes: light pinkish-purple, white, slightly purpley-pink, black, slightly purpley-blue, white, light blueish-purple. The outside stripes are twice as wide as the inside ones].
Full size [Here]
Designed by: @pastelmemer
Color meanings (likely): Not quite blue and not quite pink to symbolize not male or not female but being connected to masculinity or femininity.
Tumblr media
[Image: A flag with a purpleish border, a light green background, and a blue 4-pointed star in the middle]
Full size [Here]
Designed by: @nbandproud
Color meanings:
The purple is for femininity and masculinity.
The green is for the separation of this gender from the gender binary;
The star is for individuality, but relationship? I’m not sure how to explain this. Just think of the fact that the sky - where stars are, and which is blue - evokes imagery that we only have because of the Earth, and would be different elsewhere. But still, it’s separate from the Earth. Just like a nonpuerella is someone whose gender draws from femininity and masculinity, but that is entirely separate from binary genders.

Nonpuerella/nonvirmina: A combination of nonpuella/nonera and nonpuer/nonvir; being neither male or female in any shape or form but feeling a strong connection to both masculinity and femininity within their gender.
Original comments/flag meanings:
Since the nonpuerella/nonvirnina flag has way too much colors and stripes, I’ve decided to make my own.
The purple is for femininity and masculinity;
The green is for the separation of this gender from the gender binary;
The star is for individuality, but relationship? I’m not sure how to explain this. Just think of the fact that the sky - where stars are, and which is blue - evokes imagery that we only have because of the Earth, and would be different elsewhere. But still, it’s separate from the Earth. Just like a nonpuerella is someone whose gender draws from masculinity and femininity, but that is entirely separate from binary genders.
Can I have some criticism? [usernames removed] @ anyone else
I don’t really know anyone with the same identity as me, so…
I just want to say that I don’t think it’s necessary to only use super basic colors, and that having something that doesn’t hurt people’s eyes is more important than that. The problem with certain pride flags is not being able to make them at all because there are too many specific shades of a certain color that might be very difficult to reproduce without digital means, while “purple, light green, and dark blue” are things that can be recognized even if they aren’t exact;
And that I don’t care about “not looking like a pride flag” because this usually means “you need to use stripes!!!!1″, which is something that we need to let go of if we want to have more diversity and originality and less flags that are way too similar to each other or way too complicated to reproduce.
Context: I had been labeling myself as a nonvirmina for a while, but the flag really bothered me, for being so unnecessarily complex. I then made a flag with less colors.

can??? people stop??? equating nonbinary with agender?????
agender folks can identify as nonbinary, but since we live in a completely ignorant society, you shouldn’t just say someone identifies with both words without explaining they don’t mean the same thing??????
i’m so fucking tired of getting misgendered as agender or ”not fitting in any gender” already. I make loads of effort to not be seen as “just gnc”, but as an actual nonbinary person, to often be misgendered AGAIN, because people just fucking love to reduce my identities to labels I don’t identify with at all.
i have a gender. it’s not male. it’s not female. it’s not "in the middle”. it’s not neutral. but it’s there, and you have no right to say otherwise.

Nixavire Flag
Tumblr media
Nixavire: an identity that is comprised of both genderless and boygirl-aligned aspects, which may manifest as partially identifying as a girlboy; the combination of nixera & nixvir. These eclipsian/sollunarian aspects can be experienced simultaneously (as in femache-aligned) &/or fluidly.
Similar to nixangi, nixboygirl and juproxevira, also known as nixevira/nixvira, nixeravir & nixvirmina/nixpuerella. -avire from inavire (alternate name of nonvirmina/nonpuerella). Mixing flags and terms by @nixics (they had proposed two flags and sent me, but now the blog is deactivated I can’t access the flags).
